Everything was as expected and looks perfect, got the gradient and I don’t regret it. Actually ordered a second one for my girlfriend’s controller. Just take your time pulling off the original faceplate.

Super easy to put on just gotta take your time and not rush that's how you break the tab retainers on the controller housing, feels like I gotna whole new controller I love it!

Installed on my series 2 elite controller and it feels and looks great, my only complaint is that two of the clips (the top ones by the Xbox button) were snapped off right out of the box. This doesn't affect the products ability to stay attached to the controller, just figured I'd point out the problem if anyone else runs into it.

This is high quality stuff! I've used extremerates stuff for awhile and never had a problem! It's as easy as popping off the old faceplate, grabbing your new faceplate, putting the rings on the joystick holes, and replacing the 2 plastic pieces that just drop in! It really couldn't be easier! It's a quick mod that can make your controller stand out!

La qualit de la coque est top le rendu de la couleur est vraiment superbe ! Je trouve mme la texture agrable, franchement fonc si vois avez envie de couleur. a se change en 30 sec une fois qu’on a le coup de main. Je vous recommande de commencer declipser lgrement le dessus puis enchaner par un tour de l’outil en plastique en donnant de lger -coup vers le haut tout autour de la coque et c’est declipse

It was a little scary taking apart my controller at first. There is glue inside that holds it in addition to the tabs around edges. Thought I was pulling too hard on something I shouldn’t. But once it was apart faceplate went on perfectly. Also, it looked like it was going to be too slick but turns out it is not.I added the gold rings also since I had it apart might as well right? Since the home button is color customizable I turned it gold as well. Just a nice added touch.

As the headline says, this looks awesome.
Easy enough to fit, although getting your original faceplate off for the first time is a big of a bugger as its held with a tape/glue – you will feel like you are going to break it. Start from the top middle with the included spudger and then work it under the shoulder buttons to get it started.
Persevere though as the results are pretty sweet. I have 2 elite 2 controllers and purchased an orange and a purple face plate. Also purchased a woodgrain Elite 1 face plate.
My niece and nephew are infinitely envious with the bright colours these faceplates allow, however kids have sticky fingers so no touchy!
Feels premium, not so easy too install, not for the first time use.
I blame Microsoft for the installation, you have tol be firm too install it( they have a rubber seal on the elite 2) but looks better in person, feels slightly better than the rubbery feel, better grip, all in all a good product, but the tool needs too be stronger too open the controller, almost broke the tool trying too open it!
Fits perfectly
The hardest part was removing the original faceplate. Once off,it was easy to fit. Don’t forget to fit the other bits supplied,first. Clear instructions and link to video on how to do it. Looks pretty good too

Hardest part of the install was taking the old faceplate off the controller but once off the new fave place clipped on and all lined up perfectly love the new look to my controller and it feels good ok the hands

Hard to Install, But Worth the End Resul
I’m very happy with how my controller came out! The shell is very high quality & has an excellent finish. The controller still feels solid & there are no loose buttons.
It’s a very difficult process to remove the original faceplate. I would not recommend anyone who has no electronics experience to do this themselves. Although the end result is well worth it.
Good quality and finish
I have installed much replacement face plates over the years and this one is definitely high quality. I brought this for my xbox elite 2 and I’m more than happy with the quality and finish. The red “soft touch” is exactly as described, it feels like a smooth soft finish to the plastic (if that makes any sense). Fitting the face plate is easy. There are plenty of videos out there if you are unfamiliar. No button rubbing or snagging. Perfect fit.
Great value alternative to xbox design labs
A bit fiddly to remove old face plate however there are very detailed guides on youtube. Colour is great and removes the horrible textured grip from the original.
I have since changed the buttons and thumbstick rings to chrome ones from eXtreme rate.
Very good value for money and am hoping they get new faceplate for the series x controlers

Not a job for the faint of heart. The original faceplate is a little tricky to remove. However, I do this kind of thing for a living so wasn’t something that bothered me. The replacement feels great, looks great and fits like a glove. I would highly recommend this for anyone who wants to add some personalisation to their Elite Series 2 controller.

Paint on the inside would have been better but it wont make a difference to the performance

I love this faceplate I think the only thing I wanna see in the future is to have the back grip the same colour the grips on the original design I don’t like I prefer plastic so this is perfect for me

Arrived a week early through Xmas, great start. Well packaged, with all the bits you need. Beautiful quality faceplate, fits flush, no seems or edges to be felt. Fitting was a breeze. The hardest part was pulling the og Faceplate off as it had rubber tape as well as the edge clips. But came off with no damage. New one clipped straight in and with a squeeze it clicked and was done! I got the plain soft touch purple faceplate and even though it has no “grip” it feels better than the og Faceplate. I just can’t deal with the “textured plastic grips” of the og elite s2. This has improved grip for me.
I Hope eXtremeRate plan make sticks, paddles and d pad in matching colours. My money is waiting for those 😉
