Better quality that some of the cheeper alternatives available
This log splitter comes with a number securing fixings (including an Allen key) which I would recommend using. I tried using without securing and its ok for breaking down soft wood but for hard wood it’s best securing to something flat otherwise in can jump around.
Overall its much better than using my axe which I have been for some time.
great for splitting large logs to a more manageable size for the fire and perfect for making kindling, I don’t have to worry about my husband slipping with an axe!
