Where development comes into play

Gross Motor: Jumping, balancing on those tiny toes, and reaching for all the toys and activities helps get your baby’s gross motor skills going and growing!

• Sensory: Bright colours, lights, and a variety of sounds and textures help stimulate your baby’s visual, auditory, and tactile senses.

• Curiosity & Wonder: Your little explorer can discover the fun of cause and effect as they figure out how to activate the lights, music, and sounds by jumping or interacting with the toys.

See what develops

Colourful toys, fun sounds, and music excite and engage your baby’s visual and auditory senses, while moving and jumping up and down helps strengthen large motor skills. Busy toys like a “hide & seek” tiger, spinning lizard and sun, bat-at monkey, and a swinging frog and toucan introduce cause and effect.

This has saved so much time! Whenever i want to get something done I put my baby inside the jumperoo and he sure enjoys it! Plus whoever saw it, bought it too. So i have done quite a lot of publicity!

My baby loves to be held and I was struggling to get any time to myself. I saw this and thought I’d give it a go – boy as I glad that I did!
She absolutely loves this! She is just over 5 months old and this is a god send. If you’re thinking about getting this then go for it!

I purposely looked for a jumperoo which was quiet. Some of the ones I saw made an absoloute racket when baby jumped. This one barely makes a sound… perfect. It has plenty of toys and although my little one finds it hard to turn the seat around he loves the toys. Very happy and so is the little man.

Easy to put together, easy to adjust the height, easy to take off to clean, swivel seat for little one to move to another activity, very sturdy, colourful, no safety issues little one has been using for quite a while now and most important keeps the little one entertained for quite a while what more could you want.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI bought this for my grandson, he’s 6 months old and absolutely loves jumping up and down in it.
It takes a little assembly but it was straight forward and the instructions were very helpful.
I did have to put the elasticated straps straight on the second height but my grandson is large for his age.
It’s not easy for smaller babies to swivel the chair round to all the toys, this may get easier as he can stand properly but I feel it should move a lot easier.
The noises and music do get a little repetitive but you don’t need to have it on.
Don’t expect this to fold down flat because it doesn’t, in fact it hardly folds at all, still taking up quite a lot of floor space. The button to unlock the base is really hard to press in whilst trying to lift up the leg.
Getting a wriggling baby into the seat can be exasperating so I’ve found it easier to lift the seat fabric up so I can see his feet are in the holes.
He’s only had it about 4 weeks now but he’s getting bored of it after about 10 minutes so I’m not sure I’d have spent so much on it if I’d known.
Hope you found my review helpful

Little dude loves it. He’s 5 months and spend a solid 15 mins at a time in this, which might not sound alot but he manages around 10 mins in his chair or on tummy time. This seems to appease him longest out of all the things we have for him. And the fact that it’s adjustable so can use it for a long time to come is great.

Arrived on time, easy to assemble and I’ve never met a child who doesn’t like them.

Hours of fun means peace for busy parents al while stimulating the child at same time.

Encouraging hand eye coordination, balance and strengthening tiny little legs.

Don’t think about it. BUY IT.

Al parents need one, al babies love them

Best money I’ve spent. It was on offer for 60 so a steal. It’s used multiple times a day. Baby is so advanced and I think it’s with help from this. And I just think it can be passed on to someone else in the end. It’s provided hours of fun and it’s a safe place to put baby off your need to run to the loo or make a coffee

This product is BRILLIANT. I bought it for my grandson who at six months is full of energy and wanting to stand up, is interested in noise and bright colours and also quite independent. He loves this and it has given his parents so much more ability to do those little jobs that normally are difficult when you’ve got a baby under your arm. My grandson is very happy bouncing up and down and interacting with the toys around him. Really good idea and well worth the price.

This product is an absolute dream (why didn’t we have things like this when we were young)
I was in two minds in getting it because of the price but it taught me a lesson, my little one is 6 months old and he absolutely loves it and in return leaves me hands free to have a hot cuppa whilst observing him, so I totally recommend it to anyone!
It was easy to assemble, it is quite big but we have ours in a playpen with soft playmates, so it absorbes the noise and kind on the little ones toes.
Many months left of fun and lots of hot cuppas haha.

The Jumperoo was very easy to assemble, with easy to follow instruction. I put it up in about 5-10 minutes. Its’ easily wiped down when cleaning is necessary. My wee one absolutely loves it! The height is adjustable as well, so as your baby grows taller, the Jumperoo can be altered to the next height level. The seat can be moved around as well, so as baby becomes more interactive with things, they can touch and press different toys on the Jumperoo.

There are only two cheerful tunes, a few minutes long each, with a couple of accompanying animal noises. I find the music not terribly annoying when repeated, but others may differ on that. My son adores the tunes, which is the important part! There are two settings on volume, and I keep it on the quieter side. Its still very audible though.

    Would definitely recommend this Jumperoo.

My baby had this from around 5 months to 8 months and absolutely adored it! Once she was confident cruising around the furniture she no longer wanted to go in it but by then it had served its purpose. It’s quite expensive considering we only used it for 3 or 4 months but it was worth it for me. And it was still in great condition when she was done with it so probably could have sold it on for a decent price.

On the whole it was quite easy to assemble – but one piece took a lot of effort to fit in. I had to manipulate the plastic and use some force to get it in. Still big even when folded away.

Baby loves it – loves all the noise and colour.
In my opinion i should have bought a ‘pre loved’ one – there are plenty around, as they are quite expensive.

My grandson absolutely loves his jumperoo. Although stated to be for 6m+ he has been in it from under 4m and is already on the middle height setting at 5m. He will have grown out of it by 7m and he is around average height for his age. He loves being vertical and able to look around him, making eye contact with the adults sitting around him. He got the hang of bouncing on the first attempt and I’m sure it is good for muscle development. A real plus point is that it folds for storage or transport, although not flat. Only negative is that one of the elastics has stretched a bit more than the others, making it slightly unbalanced.

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersLove love love this product! It’s so simple to put together, most of it comes pre set and you just follow the instructions to attach the base and the top. The seat took us a while to understand how it attaches but once you figure it out it’s very simple. Easily cleaned and seat cover washes and dries well in machine. The three height settings are easy to change but also very secure. My 6 month old loves bouncing up and down in it. There are enough toys around to grab his attention for a while, and when he’s bored I simply turn him around and he’s occupied for longer with the toys on the other side. Win win for us all. The hanging toys on the top can be changed in height to encourage baby to jump. Very good jumperoo.

5.0 out of 5 stars Definitely recommend this

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI bought this for my granddaughter expecting it to be useful from about 6 months onwards. However she is a strong energetic baby and was able to go in it from 4 months. There is plenty of support for her and it is extremely stable. She adored it from the moment she was first put in. The activities rivet her attention and she moves to the catchy tunes. I suspect she will be nearer 6 months before she begins to bounce herself in it but when she is tired and irritable, a few moments being gently bounced always brings a smile. This was definitely worth the money!

Brilliant bouncer, really enjoyed by my baby boy. There is 3 height settings, and it’s quite stable. The toys aren’t really appropriate for us as he doesnt pay any attention to them now, although he did when it was new. We do 10 minute periods throughout the day as it cant be too comfy to be left in for a longer period. Our baby has it on the highest setting and aswell as bouncing he swings with it and it stays stable. The only downside for me is the toys that dangle above are not symmetrical so it just seems rushed when manufactured. Would recommend though as no other faults.

My baby is in absolutely love with this. She looks forward to play in it everyday!!! And it gives me a little bit ease of doing something without worry of playing with my baby. I started putting her at 4.5 months as she has pretty steady head control but she tool a while to understand to jump and in it. Since 5 months she has been so fond of it that she keeps jumping outside of that as well the moment I hold her vertical. She tries to jump in the Walker too :)) . Inshort, it’s very nice product and babies would love it. Price is a bit pinch but when Ur baby loves it and laughs, it’s worth every single Penny for me.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersThis was brilliant while it lasted, really worth the . Unfortunately I had to pack it away by the time he was 8months as he was too tall for it and crawling (moving sideways was far more interesting than up and down). Luckily I bought it before he was 6 months and he got a decent amount of use out of it. I know this is against the safety guidelines but he was very strong and could hold himself up well.

The tune it plays will be permanently in your head (and theirs). Even now at 13 months if I hum it to him he bobs up and down!

It’s very tacky plastic and will take over a good portion of your front room (the fold down feature doesn’t reduce the size that much). On the plus side you may actually be able to finish a cup of tea without it going cold.

I’ve washed the seat a few times and looks brand new. Also being plastic you can give it a good wipe down.

Golden Review Award: 9 From Our UsersThis jumperoo is the greatest purchase we’ve made for our rapidly-growing baby. At 3 months, he’s much younger than the recommended age for things like this, but he gets so bored on playmats or the sofa or the floor or really anywhere, so we were desperate for anything that would keep him entertained. He cries if we’re not holding him and walking around the room – all day long. A friend recommended this Fisher-Price Jumperoo, calling it her Circle of Neglect, and I can’t tell you how much fun my boy has in it. He’s learning to engage with the different toys more and more each day, and has even lifted his head high enough to look at the overhanging parrot & frog. His legs are growing strong with the bouncing. I do recommended only letting your child play in it while wearing socks as my boy got a blister on his little toe from the bouncing when he wasn’t wearing socks. .

Had this when my twins were 4 months old. Had sold there old one as it was used a lot, and never thought I’d need it again. However we were blessed with baby number 3 and my husband insisted getting the same one again.
Cheapest price was on Amazon, and being a prime customer I got it very quickly.
The baby loves it just like her brothers, she was so excited just getting in the. She bounced in it for ages and tired herself out. She played with all the toys and loves the music and flashing lights. The butterfly was chewed on strain by away, just like her brothers did. Great toy, the twins Coke to play with her when she is in it, which helps the three interact.
Great for when you need to pop to the kitchen or loomquickly and are on your own with the baby. At least you know they will be safe in there and
Entertained while you carry on with what you need to do.
It does take up abit of space, which is why I sold the boys old one, but it is a gem of a toy and money well spe

After looking for quite sometime for an activity centre for my babe I decided on this one. I enjoy that it operates as a jolly jumper and exersaucer at the same time, removing the need to buy both. It was easy to assemble and my little one loves it.

My only cons are (1) it does take up a fair bit of room in our small apartment but I’m sure it will be easy to dismantle and stick under a bed when we are done with it. (2) the seat doesn’t swivel that easily, but perhaps it just needs time to get worked in. (3) My little one is a bit on the light side for her age so she isn’t heavy enough to weigh it down so that her feet are touching the floor even on the lowest setting (we stuck a folded up yoga mat under to give her something to push off).

I still gave it 5 stars because overall I am very happy and so is baby!

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersFirst of all, have to state the obvious. This is big, really big. If you don’t have the room then be aware of that, it conservatively takes up the space of a single seat (sofa) and a little bit more probably.

Now onto the best bit. My daughter absolutely loves this, we started her in it when she was three months old and she loved standing and bouncing, over the last few weeks she has really changed the way she uses this, now playing with the available things and really getting into it.

We use her in it for about 10 minutes at a time for now, she doesn’t really want to go much longer than that (at the moment) but it’s great to see her having so much fun in the Jumperoo! It’s well worth the space it takes up just to see her little face light up with the fun she’s having in it, and she does love to stretch her legs!

I have rated some other baby products we’ve purchased as five stars, but if I could, I’d give this one six stars. It is simply the best thing we could have ever bought for our child. As J Wyland’s review says, although it seems expensive, it’s worth so many times what you will pay for it! Our son was only 3 months old when we bought it for him, and its features have grown with him. It has three height settings which mean you can raise it up as your baby’s legs get longer. He gets bored of every toy he has except this one; the only reason we take him out of it is to protect his legs or if he’s getting too tired.

To begin with, the noises and the little monkey at the front were enough, and now that he is 7 months old he can turn the seat (it swivels 360 degrees) and play with the toys at the back. He can also grab up for the parrot that hangs from one of the legs/arms, but this can be adjusted if your baby is bigger/smaller to get them to stretch for it. There are so many things going on to keep your baby entertained. Two other babies, one a month older and one a month younger than our son, tried it out. They both loved it and their mother’s both bought one of these after trying it out. One mum bought it then and there on her phone!

As for the jumperoo itself, the construction is very sturdy and the leg at the back does clip out (not easily though) so that you can fold it down slightly. It is still a considerable size folded down, but a lot less intrusive. The volume switch for the noise is a welcome relief from the constant noise. The springs are completely covered by a soft fabric and testing them they seem very well sewn together. The seat is strong and durable, while the back of the seat is padded slightly.

I would recommend the Jumperoo to every parent. It’s a great toy, my son loves bouncing and kept him entertained till around 1 year. We purchased at 6 months so he got 6 months use out of it, after that he wasn’t interested in bouncing in it. He wasn’t too interested in the toys – more bouncing. A door bouncer would do the same job for those on a budget but I felt that the jumperoo felt more “safe” and I was more comfortable using one. It does fold but it honestly is a waste of time, I left it assembled the entire time. It plays music and flashes lights but again, this isn’t what my child is interested in it is mostly grabbing the animals at the top and bouncing away. A great way to tire him out before bed and now i’ve had to upgrade this for a junior trampoline. 🙂 It is worth the money and as always Amazon deliver quickly and efficiently for free.

This is a fantastic product. I put it together myself in about twenty minutes and it was very straight forward – most of the parts just clip together and a screwdriver is only required for the battery compartment.

This isn’t the smallest piece of equipment but I love that it doesn’t need a doorway and can be moved around easily. It folds up a bit, but isn’t the most compact so it’s worth having a look at one before buying if storage space is tight.

What matters most with this jumparoo is how much my baby loves it. At 4 months old she can’t quite reach the floor but a few cushions sort that out and she adores all of the bright colours and toys. The seat turns easily, encouraging her to learn to turn to reach new toys. The lights and music that reward her jumping are great, although after the first few times she didn’t really need them to encourage jumping. Sometimes when she is crying or cranky I just pop her in this and she starts giggling and smiling again. It seems to make her really happy and in my opinion that makes it worth every penny!

My son absolutely loves this! He would spend all day in it if we let him and will often jump or play until he falls asleep. We got it when he was just 6 1/2 months old and in the 4 weeks we’ve had it can actually see how its helping him, especially with him fine motor development as he grabs and manipulates the little animal figures at the front between his fingers.

Another really great aspect is that he’s safe, doing something that makes him squeal for joy while I am free to get stuff done. Really wish had got it earlier! The only downsides I can see is that it does take up a fair amount of room and also I don’t like him using it on the hardwood floor as I worry about the repeated hard impact on his feet/ankles (the kid really goes mental jumping). Otherwise, worth every penny!

My five month old son has been pushing himself onto his feet for about a month now, so thought this jumperoo would be a nice addition to his toy collection. Best decision ever! He absolutely loves all the colours, the lights and music, the fact he can rotate and play with another toy and the fact he can stand up without us holding his hands! We love the fact that we have our hands free for 10 minutes to have an actual hot cup of tea or can sterilise bottles with two hands, even eat a meal without having my hair pulled or being poked in the eye! I do need to add that my son is ridiculously tall for 5 months, about the height of a 7 month old, so i don’t know how other babies his age would do with touching the floor? The jumperoo, however, is adjustable and has three height settings. He is obviously on setting one at the moment, which is the closest to the floor, but it’s nice to know that when he gets even taller, we can adjust this item rather than having to replace it with another item to occupy his time!

Where to start with this review this product is simply fantastic, we first put my daughter in it when she was 3 months old (she could easily hold her own head weight by then) she was very confused at the start but we persisted with it and by the 3rd or 4th time of her going in it she had gotten the hang of bouncing well slightly haha.

So a little over 2 months down the line she is now jumping up a lot in it smiling at all the little faces on the toys that surround the Jumperoo and dancing along to the music (Very catchy music I might add too)

Yes the product is a bit expensive but that’s worth every penny to see my daughter have the fun she does in it, it also gives us time to sort out things around the house or just have 5 minutes to ourselves, she’ll keep herself entertained for about 45 minutes depending what mood she is in.

To sum this product up in one word would be brillia

You must buy your child one of these before they grow to old! You wont be disappointed, Dont wait until they become to big.

We have this for our 4 month old daughter who had a few problems at birth with jaundice and colic’s, before this she seemed a bit weak and none mobile. she had a lot of stomuc cramps from the colics and was hard to get her gut working properly, We know that for a gut to work properly you need to be upright and stimulator the gut with walking or running, Quiet hard as a baby.

So this is the perfect way to let your baby loose it holds them nice and they can jump around as much as they want our daughter was a bit shy in it at first, and i didnt think she was going to take to it.. But within a week we had a jumping monster oh my!..

Shes 6 months old now and the colics are gone shes so much stronger now with all this activity and she just never gets bored of this toy.

The only downside to this is the noise your kid can produce by jumping! So you might want to warn your neighbors your buying a jumperoo!.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersGREAT PRODUCT – my son is 4 months old but thought I’d by this bouncer as her loved to kick he feet all the time. When I put him in it the first couple of times he didn’t really get what was going on and would stare at the overhead soft animal toys and fall aslee so I would encourage him by bouncing it. 3weeks later and he cannot get enough now he knows how to work it! He loves the music and lights and it’s lovely to see him get excited and giggle

Overall I would HIGHLY recommend this, at first I was abit put off by the price but it really is worth it. Every baby needs one!! – the colours/toys and music are great and my little one can spend a fair amount of time whilst mummy gets ready for the day or needs a little tidy around!!

Thank you Fisher-Price for this wonderful bouncer!!

My 5 month old baby is in love with the amazing jumperoo! I couldn’t believe how much he loves it, he was a little bit short for it at first and he was just using his toes however, I remembered that my friend had one for her little one. She used to put a book under Neath her baby’s feet so I tried it and he learnt very quickly to used flat feet.

I didn’t want to purchase a door bouncer due to the safety hazards with fingers getting trapped in doors and the change of my little one banging his head. When I went to my friends house I saw that she had a jumperoo and I just had to buy one! She said that she paid 110 which is a lot of money but it looked like so much fun so I went on amazon and it was 51.33 with free postage! AMAZING! Look out for when the price drops!

The colours are bright and it’s amazing for fine motor skills, my little on love spinning the balls with the sun and animals inside of them. He had now learned to do the 360 turning so he can now turn to follow me whilst I clean 😀 bonus!

It’s easy to assemble seeing as I managed to do it all by myself with baby brain and being very blonde, the instructions are very clear and well explained.

My little man is on the lowest of the three settings which is number 3 and he is 5 months old. Whilst using and large book under his feet it shows that he still has a long before he grows out of it.

I would definitely recommend this product as it is amazing even all of the family who come over just love watching him, as he has so much fun and signs delight on his face 😀

First of all, we tested this at a local Mothercare to buy it and the baby loved it… when we asked to buy it they told us they didn’t have it in stock and they do not sell the toys the have already build for viewing… So I did a little bit of search and glad to find it in Amazon because… this thing does wonders sometimes… Baby loves it… but the most important thing… parents love it too. You want to do something really quick in another room and you fear if you leave the baby on the floor, s/he will eat something… put her/him in the jumperoo, you want to prepare her/his food and you do not want them to wonder on the floor, put them in there… (ours doesn’t like being in the play pen – she bangs her head on the sides – so the jumperoo was an excellent alternative to keep her under control. The best thing, is that now there is no fighting when it’s bed time. We put her in there for 5 minutes and if she is tired she falls asleep in there (aren’t babies amazing??!!!) very quickly and then we pick her up and put her to bed…

We’ve had this jumper for nearly two years now. Our second daughter has just started using it at 4 months. We didn’t buy it for our first daughter until she was nearly seven months, so I’ve been surprised how early our second daughter is able to enjoy it! She loves reaching for the birds and is already able to turn herself in the rotating seat to reach the different attractions on the seat table. Her feet don’t quite reach the ground even with the lowest setting, so we put a couple of books under her feet and it works great. Our older daughter enjoyed sitting here often until she started walking. When we’re not using it, we pull the bottom circle frame apart at one joint and fold it a little to slide it into a smaller space. You can also take it apart to store it in an even smaller space. We’ve loaned it to two different families and it still looks like new. The seat fabric is removable and washable (though it takes some effort to get it off.) The elastic bands holding the seat are also adjustable so that you can lower the seat for a smaller child or raise the seat once their legs are longer. I wish these were a little easier to adjust, though. It takes some effort. But at least they are secure! I would definitely recommend!!

I bought the jumperoo for my 4 month old son for Christmas, it’s the best thing I’ve ever bought! It has so many different things for babies to explore and to keep them interested. Lovely bright colours, sounds, music and lights with a variety of different toys. This keeps my son entertained for ages while I can get on with little jobs knowing he is happy. It’s also fun for me to watch him play in and watch him bounce up and down, he gets so excited! The Jumperoo is really simple to put together, no tools required it all clips into place easily. It is quite large and takes up a lot of space but for me this isn’t a problem.

There is a red frog seat in the centre, which turns 360 degree’s to allow baby to interact with all the different toys. It is suspended on large springs (which are covered so no danger to little fingers) which allow baby to bounce up and down as much as they want! There are 3 different height settings so you can adjust it as your baby grows. The music can be set to constant or baby-activated each time they jump, and it also has two volume settings. There are lots of coloured toys to keep baby interested around the seat, and also two hanging toys overhead for baby to reach for.

I love this product, have already recommended it to others and would say it is definitely worth every penny – even more so if you manage to buy it on the deal!

So I’m a first time mum and I think I’ve bought a lot of products on the back of offers or what I thought my baby would like, want, need etc. In terms of entertainment I have bought a swing/rocker, baby gym (small and large), seat, tummy time, teddies galore but none he seems to like for more than 10 mins.

I was hesitant to buy this at first as it’s expensive and I thought another one of those toys he’s going to get bored of pretty quickly. After a while I caved as he was bored with everything else and I felt sorry for him, plus Amazon have them on offer every month. So when it arrived a few weeks back I thought I’d save it for xmas as he was only 3.5 months, the 2 weeks ago I caved in. The. Best. Toy. Ever. He L O V E S it! I’m not sure what I was expecting when I put him in, I thought maybe I’ll get 5-10 mins as usually and then he’ll scream to get out but no he was in it for ages! He smiled instantly and loves the parrot and bouncing frog.

For me this is a definite must have so much so I’m thinking about getting another to leave in my parents house when we come to visit.

Side note but my baby is growing through leap 4 sleep regression and this knackered him out that I got some sleep plus he loves it so much I can get on with some cooking and cleaning whilst he plays happily in this.

Only down side is what happens when he grows out of it?

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI laughed when i read the previous reviews. It is unnanimous amongst parents that this is worth the money and i would have to agree. As many others have said, it gives you a few minutes hands free time to cook tea, whip the hoover round or simply sit down and have a cuppa whilst enjoying watching your baby.

My little one is five months and has been using it for four weeks now. He is a big baby so can touch (just) the floor and hold himself up well so he is fine in it now. He bounces and is interested in all the toys and has liked it since we first put him in it. He isnt big enough yet to reach the two dangling toys but looks up at them. He also cant yet turn the elephant round or the seat himself but i think its good that eventually he will realise he can and that will make the jumparoo a fresh experience for him again. At this age, it seems to keep their attention for up to 15 minutes or so.

I havent given 5 stars only because i think they could improve on it slightly by selling interchangable toys so that once they have thoroughly explored all the toys over several months, you can change them for fresh ones.
A great toy though and one we are looking forward to using for several months to come.

I searched for many hours it seemed for Jumperoo’s, comparing size, price, other reviews etc, and eventually went for the Rainforest Jumperoo. I am so glad I did, my daughter loves it, she is almost 6 months old and often getting a bit bored on her playmat. We have not had this very long and she has stayed in this happily everytime we put her in, for at least 40 mins, which is pretty good for a small tot! There are loads of toys attached, all bright and colourful, and fascinating to her it seems! It has good support both front and back and the seat is removable and machine washable – always a plus! She is not jumping as much yet, but only because i think she has not yet discovered she can! It was a bit tricky to put together and you need to concentrate on the instructions with this one, but once it is assembled it is worth it! Folds away too which is great bonus. I definitely recommend!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis is a bit of an expensive toy, and being off work on mat leave and therefore having a limited income I probably would have given it a miss, that is before I saw all the reviews on here! And now I can safely say it really is worth every penny!
First got it when my little girl was three months, she was a bit unsure at first and was only just holding her head up herself so session times were limited, but I could see she was interested. Now at just short of 5 months her legs are long enough to touch the floor on the lowest setting (it has 3 height settings allowing for growth, before that she just dangled) and she has suddenly learned how to bounce. It’s a joy to see her little face light up 🙂 Every morning now when I take her downstairs and lay her down on the floor to change her nappy she swivels her head to see the Jumperoo and gets quite giddy!
She loves it, I love it and I’m really happy that when she starts crawling I’ll be able to use it to keep her safely occupied when I need to leave the room for short spells, knowing that I won’t find her with her hand in a plug socket when I come back from making a cuppa!

My husband and I bought this for our daughter as I had been wanting one since I was pregnant. We bought this when she was about 4mnths old but she was far too small for it, when she was about 5mnth she was much more interested, we put a pillow under her feet as she couldnt reach the floor. now she has just turned 6mnths and she is bouncing all over the place. She can play with the toys and bounces herself around them. She never gets bored. Its great as I can put her in this and know that she is secure and she is unable to fall out. Thanks so much Fisher Price. The item is quite large so you do need space and on the negative side they dont supply batteries which I think is a bit cheeky from any company that sells and item that requires them. Aside from that, just buy this if yiur thinking about it. It is expensive but so worth it.

First things first, this is a sizable piece of kit. measuring about 1m in diameter, and just over 1m tall, it’s a hefty piece of kit. Taking about 10 minutes to put together upon arrival, once built it’s pretty sturdy although could be collapsed down again easily enough if needed.

The bouncing platform has three adjustment levels what will help you match the height of the bouncer with the height of your baby as they grow both in height and weight. The settings seem reasonably well judged so far and it looks like there’s a reasonable period of use to be had from it, although if I had to guess, I’d think that our little one won’t fit into this much beyond 12months old.

It’s built up to FisherPrice quality. Plastics are good quality, well moulded and easily to clean. There’s plenty of variety for baby to look at and interact with, from the motion sensitive sound and lights to spinnable rattles, dangling frogs and flies on cables. Lots to grab, hold, turn, spin, pull and otherwise interact with. The seat that baby sits in is able to rotate through 360degrees, meaning that baby can turn to face whichever toys take their fancy or watch whatever’s most interesting.

The seat cover is removable and can be washed, pretty much everything else can just be wiped clean. Our little one loves this for about 10 – 15 minutes at a time, during which he wears himself out. It’s certainly helping strengthen his legs and perhaps his balance too. He probably only plays in it once or twice a day but he really does enjoy it. Timing is critical though, there’s no use putting him in the jumperoo for at least 2 hours after a feed or it will come back up.

At the original price of >100quid, it was a lot of money to spend on a toy that will get relatively little use… assume 20 minutes a day for 6 days a week, for 6months (before they get too big)… means it’s over 1 per hour of use.

At the newly reduced price of 50quid, it’s much more reasonable and highly recommended – provided you’ve got the space!

I bought the Rainforest Jumperoo as soon as my son could confidently hold his head up on his own and it’s worth every penny! The second I put him in it his face lit up and he started bouncing, he was also captivated by the front console with the lights and sounds.

I think this product has been really well thought out and is bursting with features to give you value for money and your child hours of fun.
The central seat swivels 360 degrees and there is entertainment around the whole thing. The front central console (the bit that needs 3 AA batteries that aren’t included) lights up and plays music and animal sounds when your child bounces, it also has animal figures for your child to grab and manipulate.
There’s also a spinning lizard, a spinning sun, a spinning colour wheel, a butterfly on a bendy stick and a little peek a boo tiger that pops up when your child pushes a button so it has ALOT going on and actually becomes more interactive as your child gets older.
My six month old nephew has a Jumperoo and is only just starting to notice some of the toys on it. It’s like discovering a new toy for him and he’s newly captivated every time he’s put in it.

The base is sturdy with 3 well made ‘bungees’ which are coiled springs attached to nylon strapping. There a three length settings so as your child grows you can make the seat higher, meaning they are still kept on tip toes for optimum bouncing!

All in all this product is well made, worth the money and hours of fun for your little one.
I would say that the only down side is that its a large bit of kit and is not made for small rooms – it needs a decent amount of space to stand and whilst you can take it apart, it doesn’t fold down or anything, once it’s up it’s up.

We bought this when my son was just a bit too small to reach the ground, so we put a cushion underneath him to he could feel his feet. He’s never looked back! He loves the toys on it, especially the flashing lights bit and the spinning gecko. He didn’t notice the hanging parrot and frog at first, as it was above his eyeline, but now he’s bigger he reaches for them and bats them about. The only toy that is a bit pants is the rainbow coloured spinny thing, it’s a bit pointless and he doesn’t notice it, but everything else is great. It’s been a complete saviour for me as he plays in it for a good 20 minutes – half an hour at a time, so I can get things done around the house! The seat cover comes off very easily so it can be washed, and everything else is easily wiped clean. The seat spins round so baby can turn to play with all of the toys, so if they get bored with one thing, spin them round to look at something else. The only downside to this is the size, it does take up a lot of room, but to be honest we’re so used to the house being taken over by baby things we don’t notice it any more!

This Jumperoo was recommended to me by various mummy friends, but the price put me off if I’m honest. We used a door bouncer for my son who is now 5 yrs old, but my husband has (for whatever reason) decided that it’s no longer safe to use(?)..
So I spoke to people who had a Jumperoo, did lots of internet research, and eventually I bit the bullet and purchased one.
It arrived within 5 days of ordering, and we put it together yesterday. It is fuss free assembly, with the only tool required a screwdriver to insert batteries. The seat assembly was a little tricky, but still fairly easy, even for me!
Today, I sat my 4 month old daughter in it for the recommended 20 mins, and oh my goodness what a fantastic purchase! She smiled/giggled the whole time, bounced, twisted, played with the toys etc, and I got my oven cleaned, tonights dinner cooked, a laundry load on and bin changed. In 20 mins!!!!!
I would throughly recommend this product.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersAlthough expensive, this is truly one of the best things we have bought for our baby! We did try our baby in it at 4 months (as I had read others had and our baby is taller than average) but he tended to lean back in the product. Now at 6 months, he absolutely loves it (bouncing as we speak) and is at a perfect age to fully interact with all the elements of the jumperoo. Even though the new jumperoo (zoo?) was out when we bought the Rainforest Jumperoo, after looking at the other version I still chose this version as the bright colours and animals are much more attractive to the baby’s eyes and am pleased I bought it.

Only 2 minor negatives I can think with this product is that you can only leave your baby in it for 20mins at a time (same as door bouncers) which I couldn’t find out anywhere in advance of buying the product (I’m assuming to do with the child’s back?). My baby would stay in it all day if possible and gets so excited when I ask ‘do you want to jump jump?’. The only other thing it is a big product (as most children’s toys are!) which is fine if you have a big house but I think it is advertised as foldable, I have yet to find a way of doing this (need to relook at instructions) but it is in such constant use it is permanently up (my baby loves it so much!).

Please don’t let these few minor points put you off from buying it though as it truly is a marvellous product that your child will thoroughly enjoy and if nothing else, will allow you the time to get on with a few jobs (relaxing?) while watching your child in safety and enjoyment of the jumperoo. Customer Service at FP is also excellent!

Excellent toy for both, parents and babies. We bought this jumperoo for our 4 months old daughter an she loved it! Now she is six and a half and she still enjoys it as much or even more. She can spent in it hours and her legs are getting stronger and stronger.

I gave this product 4 stars because there is still some room for improvement:
    – the hanging toys are too high so the baby can’t reach them a the beginning,
    – that little button to get the tiger out is too complicated and it she presses it in the end the difference between tiger in and tiger out is so minute that I doubt if she sees it what defeats the purpose (as she needs to learn the action-consiquence part)
    – the toy has got a few tunes, which are quite nice but it is TOO FEW!!! I have seen this complain a lot before and I really think they need to do something with it because say, my husband and I know all the tunes by heart

Overall, I want to say that I highly recommend this toy to everyone, babies love it!!!

I got this for my daughter when she was 4.5 months old and she is loving it (6 months now)! I wish I would have gotten it a couple of weeks sooner, for my own sanity! My daughter was one who loved to stand up, had great head control early on and was always moving around, so this was perfect.
Yes, it was a tiny bit tall the first week we used it (her feet barely touched the ground), so I just put a blanket under her feet, but whether she grew or the springs just loosened up a bit, she fits perfectly now!
We live in Paris, France and the price and shipping were perfect… So much cheaper on amazon.co.uk including shipping than on amazon.fr.
We also chose this model over all the other variations bc of the consistently great reviews, the fact it can ‘fold up’ (the metal circle at the bottom can be unseated and folded in on itself and the actual seat can be flipped sideways, so it can be put in the corner out of the way for company) and I liked that the hanging toys were plush instead of hard plastic. The parts are easily taken off the saucer/seat part and washed… Which I’ve done quite a lot already with the dragonfly teether, it’s my daughter’s favorite!
Oh, and it’s got great resale value, so you can sell for a good price after the baby grows out of it!

I’ve been going back and forth about buying the jumperoo for a couple of months now. Even considered buying it 2nd hand because of the cost. However, the more reviews I was reading the more I wanted it so decided in the end to buy it off Amazon.

It arrived promptly and in a sturdy box. The toys were all individually wrapped. My husband and I put it together in no time (you only need one person really) and as my son is quite tall and keeps his head up confidently so we put him in straight away (he was 3 1/2 months). At the beginning he was observing each toy and was mesmerised by the colours and lights. However, I now notice that he doesn’t stay in more than 10-15min in the jumperoo and does more playing than jumping. Maybe this will change with time though.

I was expecting so much from such an expensive toy but from the moment I took it out of the box I felt a little bit let down. The plastic base or the toys don’t seem of very good quality (or cheaper than I thought anyway) and the fabric on the seat fades very quickly. Also, the blue bee pictured on the left hand side is floppy; it doesn’t stay upright as in the image here so I found that a bit deceiving too.

Overall, it’s a nice toy, it does what it says and baby likes it, but I find it overpriced.

I marked it as 4 stars because it is entertaining to be fair and my son is still to explore it as he grows. He might just be a bit too little for it. The star knocked off is for quality of materials and price.

*Update* My son is now 8 months old and I was hoping that he’ll spend more time in the Jumperoo as he now interacts more with the toys. This isn’t the case though. He still spends 15min at the most in it. I also had around a friend and her very active 11 months old daughter who ried the jumperoo and she too got bored after 5-10 min. Looking back I now think that I would have been better off buying one of those jumpers that hang on the door as it delivers almost the same result for a fraction of the price.

I can’t say enough about the Rainforest Jumperoo. Quite simply it is the best thing ever in the world, full stop. From the minute my daughter went into it on Christmas Day 2012 my life changed forever. She was a colicky baby who spend the first few months crying in pain and I was unable to leave her. This made her laugh and bounce. She bounced that hard in it some days I thought she would take off. She certainly tested it to its limits and it withstood the test.
At first she just dangled, but enjoyed the spinny things and lights and teether bug.
Then she realised she could jump in it and her whole life stepped up a gear. She had a purpose.

Now she is a strapping 18 month old and the Jumperoo lives in the loft (I can’t bear to part with it) but she still loves to jump and it still makes her giggle like a nutter. Everyone says she is such a happy child and I think the Jumperoo helped with that, certainly in the early days. I now have 4 friends who have a jumperoo thanks to the transformation in our house. It takes up a fair bit of room and the music is a bit annoying after a time but its definitely worth every penny.
Thank you so much FisherPrice from us xxx

This product is a must. It gives plenty of activities to you little one and respectively some free time for the parents. We started using it when our son was 4 months old and his feet were not even reaching the floor when he was mounted in the jumperoo. He loved it from the very first moment; started jumping and laughing. He would spend form 30 to 40 minutes sometime on it without whining and sulking. He is now 8 month old and is still using it a lot. Together with the other amazing product from Fisher price (the Precious Planets All Around Gym) it helped us go through the colic and teeth growing. It also helped him a lot in training him to stay standing and now he is almost doing on his own when outside of the jumperoo. He loves all the different toys integrated in the jumperoo and all of them are developing his motor functions in a different way.

The jumperoo is very easy to assemble. Very stable construction (I can move the whole think with the 9 kg baby inside on my own, holding only 2 of the 3 pillars and it still stays intact). Very easy to clean. It requires a bit of room tough, but is definitely worth it.

Was looking at baby walkers for my 6 month old grandson who loves to stand & bounce -very tiring on nanny’s arms supporting him! -& found the Jumperoo -perfect! It doesn’t “walk” – but it certainly bounces!
It’s easy to put together & relatively easy to dismantle & transport, baby is safely supported in a washable seat with padding all the way round & a higher padded back, which rotates in the surrounding plastic frame which holds a variety of toys. The 3 covered elastic supports that facilitate baby’s jumping, allow adjustment for 3 different height levels as the baby grows. On a hard floor, it’s a good idea to put cushions or a thick blanket under the baby’s feet.
It plays music & jungle sounds at 2 sound levels which can also be switched off [a good feature!] -though the action of the bouncer is quite noisy on it’s own, due to the jiggling toys.
Not best used immediately after a feed – for obvious reasons – but our baby loves to bounce & play with the toys for quite a while before he gets tired or bored.
One negative comment – the little balls in the blue chameleon/lizard spinning toy – become annoying – & unfortunately neither this nor any of the toys detach.
Overall – not an inexpensive product – but well worth the cost to see your baby having fun, playing &”exercising” safely.

This is by far the best purchase I have made for my 4 month old. Before this came along, I had to find ways to entertain him all day long.
It took him about a week to get used to it but now I see his eyes light up as soon as he is near it. The toys on it are ideally suited for his age and older. the lights are great, the fact the seat can turn 360 (which he can’t do unaided yet) means he can discover other toys and see other parts of the room he is in. I have placed a pillow under his feet as he’s not tall enough to reach the ground properly yet. I love the fact that after the music stops, the child must jump or play to start it again. There are also 2 lovely hanging toys above his head which encourages him to look up and strengthen his neck muscels.
I could not rate his product high enough. Anything which can keep such a young child entertained for so long and can create such utter joy is truly remarkable in my eyes.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersNow as like some of the other reviewers I was deliberating about this for a very long time. Swayed between this and an ordinary, quarter of the price door bouncer I took the plunge and ordered this for 84…. all I can say is I WANT A GO!! This is just simply awesome. I started to think my little one (4months) was ready for this when she nearly shot herself out of the baby bjorn with all of her bouncing (may I just say another FANTASTIC purchase thankfully found on eBay) I literally jumped for joy when the delivery man showed up with the Jumperoo, as did my little one when she was popped in for the first time. It’s a bit of a sensory overload at first but my normally very aloof child suddenly cracked her biggest smile and giggled (she has only done this once for me…. well not really for me, but for the black and white cat that cooly observes her with such a look that makes me think he can only be plotting her demise)

It doesn’t actually take up as much space as I was expecting and will in time take the place of the bright starts swing which is already groaning under her weight. But then I was prepared for my tastefully decorated living room to look like a. a constant state of mayhem and b. a full blown day care centre so I’m more than happy. Plus as the weather gets terrible I can now rest easy that there is another distraction for her if we are stuck at home.

In short – YAY for the jumperoo!

Was a bit dubious of this purchase given price and fact most toys end up being shortlived, but around two months in and its still a daily fav for the nipper. I bought it whist Littleun was 4mths and she still cant touch th floor by her self, but a lower sofa cushy has sorted that out for now and really does encourage weight on feet. The toys on it are good and look durable and fact you can spin seat keeps the view different and things interesting. One thing i would say is its not very easy to move room to room…even though its somewhat collapsable, it ends up living in the same spot for most the time. This toy has had a long run and sound reason to assume its ticking allot of boxes across households. Amazon were offering best price and used some nectar points to buy a amz voucher to soften blow a tad more, but if in doubt…go try one out! There are few similar ones on market and i nipped down to local toysrus to have a look at them firsthand and have a quick testplay – the jumperoo does better its competetion as felt more solid and that was kinda reason enough to justify pricetag!

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersI bought this a few days ago for my baby girl. She is quite hard to please and will sit in her bouncer chair for 5 mins before crying, will lay on a mat for 5 mins before crying.. she is very fussy. I expected her to be the only baby in the world who didnt like the jumperoo, but no. When i first put her in she sat in it and pawed at the toys and cried to be let out after 10 minutes. I was disappointed cos this thing isnt cheap! I kept trying and a day later she figured out she could actually bounce in it. It is now the best thing ever for her! She smiles and gets excited in it. I actually have to take her out or she would happily sit in it for ages. Its lovely to see her actually enjoying something, and it gives me a bit of freedom too. The only problem i have really is that its MASSIVE, and i dont really know where to put it when its not being used, but then my house seems to be slowly taken over by baby paraphenalia so I just give in to that. I would recommend this to anyone with a baby. My babe is 3 months old so its not just for the older babies. As long as they can hold their head up.

My daughter absolutely adores this. She was always a baby who liked to be upright – she her head well and liked to be bounced about so we thought we’d give it a go when she was around 6 months. Although she wasn’t sure at first, she soon got the hang of it and liked it so much that I would often have to take her out before she was ready (the manufacturers only recommend allowing them to play in it for 20 minutes at a time).

At first it is fun for them to play with the toys (there are lots of things to do) and then they get the hang of bouncing and the toys are forgotten! A great workout for bouncy babies, if I wanted my daughter to burn some energy before bed I’d put her in for a while and she slept really well afterwards.

It was good for me to be able to get a bit of ironing done too.

Three things to be aware of:
    1) it has a limited life span – probably about 4/5 months in our case (but we definitely got out money’s worth during that time!)
    2) not every baby loves it so it’s worth trying your baby in a friend’s/ one in a shop before purchasing
    3) I would advise checking the dimensions before purchasing as it does take up quite a bit of space and it’s not a toy thag can be neatly packed away each night.

I bought this after reading so many great reviews on every site that sells it! My son is only just 4 months and is very active so I thought he would love it! His eyes lit up when he first saw it and heard it play 🙂 but he can barely manage 5 minutes in it at the moment. His neck just is not strong enough to hold him steady with all the movement and he is a little small for the seat, he slips down :-p BUT the product is aimed at 6+ months so I am sure that in the next month or 2 he will really love it! Just wish I had kept it for him for Christmas as it is expensive and I don’t think he will use it much between 4 and 5 months… 🙂

It does take up a lot of room as well so I have moved it into his bedroom and out of the living room, very easy to put together though!! Took me about 15 mins, if that!

UPDATE! My son is now 6 months and he abolutely LOVES THIS! Def suitable from 5 months, he really started enjoying around 5 months. He gets a lot of exercise and energy out in this and he has a lot of fun. Well worth the price, best purchase to date and obvious when you see how many great reviews, baby’s love it 🙂 5*

Bought this when my son was 4 months old, he couldn’t touch the ground on the lowest setting and wasn’t too fusssed by it to be honest. (to be fair it is states for 6 months upwards). However that all changed when he got tall/heavy enough to touch the ground. Then he absouletly loved it! It’s very sturdy and has lots of things for him to play with in between bursts of jumping. It’s much easier to get him in to it and out of it than a door bouncer and you aren’t limited to only having it in a doorway. The only downpoints are; 1)it’s big size, although if it wasn’t as big it wouldn’t be as safe and sturdy so I don’t mark it down for that, you should just know in case you are limited for space. 2)The cost, it’s a lot of money for something that will only be in use for 3 or 4 months. If you have the cash & the space though this is well worth it.

This is the best money I have ever spent.

I had bought a different bouncer previously and try as we might we just could not get our boy to stay in it longer than 10 minutes. We had also been given door hanging bouncers but we just found that they got in the way.

We went to a friends house for a visit and when our boy tried out their kids Jumperoo he was hooked. I got home that night and ordered one on Amazon. It took less than 15 minutes to build, very easy with everything just clicking into place. I really can’t say how pleased we are that we bought this, our boy loves it and we love to watch him in it.

It holds him in and sits him up better than the others, he springs around in it like he is Tigger. The activity toys on the Jumpreoo engage him and keep him interested when he is not jumping. And he didn’t take long to realise his jumping was making the animal noises play, which he finds great fun.

It is easy to collaps when you want to store it away or move it from room to room, and it is light enough to move easily.

Would recommend this to anyone looking for a safe, fun bouncer.

After months of struggling to snatch enough time for a cuppa, let alone lunch, since the little one arrived I finally discovered the Jumperoo when she was 5mths old. Now I get a cuppa whilst listening to sequels of delight as my daughter bounces and plays with the toys. My main issue now is how long to leave her in the Jumperoo as she screams nearly every time I take her out of it.

The frame is well made and feels secure enough not to have to worry about baby’s safety. The instructions aren’t the clearest but there aren’t that many parts so it only too 15mins to assemble. The seat is washable and the whole unit can quickly be unclipped if you need to store it flat. My daughter quickly made the association that moving and playing with some of the toys caused sounds and she eagerly tries to repeat the actions to activate the noises again.

It’s not a cheap toy but I’m so glad I bought it as its helping my daughter’s co-ordination and letting her develop skills for exploring. I’d definately recommend it to all mums

I bought this for my 4 month old son who is a VERY active baby and also has reflux so I thought the upright position would be more comfortable for him, i had seen it on offer at one point but it had gone back up to the original price of 84 but frankly I would pay 200 for it I love it that much, I first saw one of these in the creche I work in and most of the kids loved it even the older ones, but when I first had it myself I only then appreciated how fantastic it was. My son looooooves it and spends most of his waking time in it as he hates being strapped into anything and loves the freedom this gives as he can kick and bounce around like there’s no tomorrow and it also turns around so he can play with all the different toys surrounding him. I can’t reccomend this enough especially if you have a very active little one like me, I can now do ironing, cleaning and even spend a bit of time with my older daughter while he is happily playing in his jumparoo. he is now 5 months old and still loving it and will for many months to come I have no doubt, my sanity savior a million stars 🙂

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI got this Jumperoo when my son was about 3 months old. I know he was young but he felt ready for it, being quite good at holding his head up from early on, as well as pushing and holding on his legs (his kicks at the end of my pregnancy literally took my breath away). He had so much gas and reflux that I’d spend all day holding him up and burping him. After 3 months of this, I was EXHAUSTED and really needed something that wouldn’t involve him lying down or being seated (bumbo type) as both these positions would either make him cry or vomit. I did extensive research, read about the Jumperoo (only ever good things) and some friends mentioned how happy they were with theirs. I thought I’d give it a try and hoped for the best. Well….. if you must buy one piece of kit, make it this one! It is truly worth every single penny and more.

At first, he was a bit dubious and scared of the flying parrot and frog, but I put that on the fact that he was so young. Soon enough though, he got to loving being in there and once he found out how the jumping worked, OMG…. hours of entertainment! I’d be able to leave him in there while doing a bit of cleaning, cooking, etc. When he was bored of it, it usually meant that it was time for a nap. The jumping and activity would sort of wear him out and he’d sleep so well after a Jumperoo session. As we’re always out of batteries, I never got round to putting the sounds and lights on but he had so much fun anyway without them that I didn’t bother. He’s now nearly 8 months old and I just recently put the batteries in – he prefers it without. Now he crawls and has started standing and cruising around the living room (maybe thanks to all that jumping?), he doesn’t enjoy being in the Jumperoo so much. But he’s still in there a little everyday, mainly first thing in the morning after he’s had breakfast and so I can have a quick shower. At least I know he’s safe in there as otherwise, I can’t take my eyes off him for more than a second.
All in all, I would definitely recommend this Jumperoo to anyone especially those with super active babies or those like us, with gassy/refluxy little ones. Again, worth the cost and the (large) size of it in your living room!

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersAll I can say is WOW!!!!! I honestly don’t know what i would have done without the jumperoo, I have twin boys who absolutely love this and will quite happily bounce away and play with the toys for anything up to an hour. Leaving me free to get on with housework etc. My twins love this and squeal with delight when using it, there’s so many things to keep baby occupied. Yes it takes up a bit of space, and it is on the pricey side, but i can honestly say, knowing what i know now, i would happily pay double if not treble the RRP for this item. My 2 are nearly 2 big for this now and it will only be another month or so before i sadly have to part with it, i say sadly, i think i will possibly cry when it has to go!! Infact if i could jump in it and have a go myself i think i would, it looks such good fun. I started using it when my twins were 4 months old and at nearly 11 months they are now getting a bit too tall for it, and it’s on it’s highest setting. The only thing i can say is please Fisher Price make these jumperoo’s last longer!!!

I can’t speak highly enough of the Jumperoo, my 5 month old son absolutely loves it! We pondered for a while over whether to spend such a lot of money but in the end decided to go for it because of the positive reviews and it turns out they were all right. As with all Fisher Price products it is well made, safe and very well designed. My son has had it since he was 4 months old and it took him a few days to work out that he could bounce himself up and down and turn around in it, now we can’t stop him! I think it is amazing because he is very alert and needs lots of stimulation and in this difficult pre-sitting up stage he is happy to bounce around and play with the toys on it for up to half an hour which has meant that finally I have been able to catch up with at least some of the housework! I think it is also a toy that he can use for some months yet as it has three height settings so he can still bounce up and down when he’s taller (he’s already pretty tall).

The only negatives I can think of are that it has a very large footprint and it is pretty bulky and difficult to move around, so not really suitable for anyone with a very small house. However, it sits very nicely in our kitchen-diner and I’m very happy for it to take over the room for the benefits it brings!

Golden Review Award: 90 From Our UsersMy family and I absolutely 100% love the jumperoo. Musing about the price I decided that, yes, knowing what I do now I would pay hundreds, nay, thousands of pounds for this. Seriously I would sell the car. I just cannot overstate how this thing has quite literally saved my life. Short version: BUY THIS! Long version: With bab number one I was too smug for such things, if it wasn’t handwoven organic wool naturally shed from free-range unionized sheep I didn’t want to know. Then came our second son. Holy cow this kid can scream and scream he did from the moment he was born. None of my tricks worked. The “witchtwigs” (as my DH affectionately calls them), the osteopath, my mom coming to stay, my dad and his wife coming to stay, nothing could make this poor little dude happy. I was shattered, our previously joyful family was just really, well, sad and most of all we felt awful for this little guy that we couldn’t find a way to help him out. One afternoon in tears I put us all in the car, sung through the screaming and bought the jumperoo. (Amazon, you know I buy far too much from you, I just couldn’t wait a moment longer for a chance of help!) He was just over 3 months old then. I piled up some towels underneath him and away we went. I can’t say it was an instant hit. I think we started out with 1 minute but I was determined. Within a few days though he had discovered its beauty and honestly life was forever altered. Suddenly he had something that for whatever reason gave him relief, distraction, whatever and it made him so happy! When he would launch into one of his screaming fits I’d put him into the jumperoo and like some kind of magic he would instantly stop. My sister is a massage therapist/herbalist and has a theory that because of where the ball of his foot contacts the floor he is able to get some kidney diaphragm release (I was too tired to pay total attention to what she was saying). Anyway, three months down the line and I don’t care what a huge monster this thing is in our little living room. I know that somebody somewhere will someday tell us that it’s not good for his hip development, but the truth is all that screaming wasn’t good for anybody! So, if you have a little screamer and you are totally in despair, honestly give this a try it might just save you too!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersAgree with everyone else! This toy is expensive but really worth it. We bought it for our daughter when she was about 3 months and it remained the only toy to keep her entertained for more than about a minute from that age up until about 9 months (when she became more interested in crawling and wrecking the house). We’ve just had another baby and he has started using it as well. He is 12 weeks old and fascinated by it.

As other people have said, your baby really needs to be able to hold their head comfortably and both of mine were a bit short when they first went in – nothing a couple of phone books under their feet couldn’t sort out though.

The only downsides are it’s a bit pricey and quite a large item if you have a smaller room but I would highly recommend paying the money and relocating an armchair if necessary as it is without doubt a brilliant investment. Lots of hours of fun for your baby and dare I say it a bit of time out from entertaining them and keeping them out of harms way when you really need to get on with a few jobs around the house etc. Fisher-Price Rainforest Jumperoo
