Preso perch me ne sono innamorato e, avendo bisogno di uno nuovo pc per lavorare con qualche video, ho approfittato di una piccola flessione di prezzo.
SPEDIZIONE: Preso, nuovo, sul marketplace dal rivenditore OVERCLOCK Technologies che si anche occupato della spedizione. Tutto perfetto, pacco arrivato prima di quanto indicato. Per precisione, avevo scelto la versione mesh, ma stato spedito il modello con il vetro. Dopo un velocissimo passaggio con il venditore, abbiamo convenuto di non procedere con il reso.
PACCO E CONTENUTO: La confezione protetta da una scatola di cartone (che gi lei figa considerando che l’interno stampato con il logo della Fractal), risulta essere compatta e tutto perfettamente ordinato.
All’interno troviamo il case, protetto da due elementi in spugna spessa bianca ed avvolto in una busta in plastica, la scatola con la viteria, il libretto delle istruzioni.
Il case solido, ma non a livello, per esempio, del Phanteks Eclipse P600S. Si smonta completamente, ma sul top NON presente la griglia sulla quale montare le ventole o il radiatore dell’AIO fuori dal case per poi inserire tutto pi agevolmente. Ci sono due filtri antipolvere, uno frontale e uno posto sotto, da dove prende aria l’alimentatore. Non previsto per il top, come a dire che di l l’aria deve uscire e non entrare.
Sono presenti 2 ventole preinstallate da 140 sull’anteriore. Si poteva fare di meglio.
INSTALLAZIONE: Comodo, pur essendo un mid tower con qualche limitazione, a volte inevitabili altre invece . Io ho montato una mobo ATX, il Noctua NH-D15 chromax.black, la RTX A4000 e l’alimentatore della MSI MPG A1000G, mentre per migliorare il flusso in uscita dell’aria calda, ho installato una ventola da 120, ARTIC P12 PWM PST. Tutto entra alla perfezione. Il cable managment buono, non il migliore, ad esempio le fascette in velcro sono presenti solo sulla parte sinistra della parete posteriore mentre sulla destra c’ la predisposizione per utilizzarne ulteriori (5 mt di velcro nero costano davvero poco, consiglio l’acquisto), cos come sulla parte superiore che inferiore. In dotazione ci sono alcune fascette in plastica, ma preferisco quelle in velcro, meglio se gi installate.
PRESTAZIONI: Considerando che davanti praticamente libero, ci sono le bacchette di legno che non influiscono sulla capacit delle ventole di spingere aria fresca all’interno del case, che il top meshato, che dietro si pu installare una ventola da 120 e che l’alimentare pesca aria fresca dal basso, possiamo considerare l’airflow ottimo. Certo, se vuoi montare un dissipatore a liquido da 360 devi accontentarti di posizionarlo sul fronte (personalmente non mi piace l’idea di spingere aria calda nel case) perch sul top c’ spazio al massimo per un 240, e questo potrebbe essere insufficiente a tenere a bada i processori top di gamma, in particolare gli i9 12/13/14 generazione intel, che sono piccoli forni, cos come gli ultimi AMD che pure loro non scherzano.
Una capitolo a parte lo si deve invece alle porte USB presenti sul top, al fianco del pulsante di accensione. Al netto della bellezza, sono dorate, devo ammettere che mi ha sorpreso trovare “solo” la versione 3.0 per le 2 Type-A (adesso conosciute come USB 3.2 Gen 1×1 a 5Gbps) e 1 USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-C (ora conosciute come 3.2 Gen 1×2 a 10Gbps). Francamente mi aspettavo qualcosa di pi da un case recente, tipo 2 USB 3.2 Gen 2×1 a 10Gbps e 1 USB 3.2 Gen 2×2 a 20Gbps. Aggiungo che la denominazione delle USB bella che confusa ormai!
DIFETTI: Non parlerei di difetti quanto di mancanze, quelle di cui ho parlato sopra. L’impossibilit di montare un dissipatore da 360 sul top, la mancanza di qualche fascetta per il cable management e le porte USB non di ultimissima generazione e la mancanza di una ventola nel retro, che a quel che costa il case avrebbero potuto montarla.
CONCLUSIONI: Lo consiglio, perch al netto di alcune mancanze figo. Mettilo nel tuo studio, che tu sia architetto o direttore creativo, avrai un oggetto d’arredamento, oltre ad uno strumento di lavoro che al suo interno pu ospitare, quasi, tutto quello che rende un PC super performante.
A Fractal, per, contesto il fatto di utilizzare, nella pagine del sito (ma pure su Amazon) dedicata a questo modello, foto nelle quali presente nel case un piccolo fan hub che nella realt non previsto. Un po’ ingannevole, se compri senza leggere tutte le specifiche di quello che ti arriva a casa.

Ich bin insgesamt sehr zufrieden.
Der PWM-Lfter-Hub ist leider nur bei der Mesh-Variante dabei.
Die Holzfront ist gut aber nicht perfekt verarbeitet, die Schnittkanten sind nicht ganz ordentlich geschliffen bzw. es gibt minimale Absplitterungen. Aber das ist Jammern auf hohem Niveau.
Was mir fehlt ist eine Schraube zum fixieren der oberen Abdeckung.
Zudem htte ich mir geschlossene Slotblenden gewnscht, damit die Grafikkarte sich nicht darber Auenluft zieht, die nicht durch einen Staubfilter geht.
Aber das sind Details, ich wrde das Gehuse wieder kaufen.
Nach gut einem Jahr sucherei habe ich endlich eines der zeitlosesten und schnsten PC Cases am Markt gefunden ! Nicht nur das schicke wei/graue designe machen das case zu einem echten Hingucker sonder auch die uerst schon ausgearbeiteten Holz Dekor Elemente auf der Front !

Habe Jahre lang auf solch ein schnes Case gewartet. Ich bin kein Fan von RGB Rechnern und mags lieber schlicht und modern. Das Case bietet ausreichend platz fr die meisten gngigen Grafikkarten, in meinem Fall eine RTX4070 TI.
Ich kann das Case mit Mash empfehlen, da so der aiflow besser ist als bei der Glas Variante.
This is an ATX case, but it fits some of the eATX motherboards such as ASRock X670E Taichi. It would be great if it officially supported eATX though as the grommits are dangerously close to the mobo edge. It fits, but it’s a tight fit.
Nice choice of materials, it looks amazing. Front panel has real wood. Easy to build inside with lots of cable management options. Very user friendly. A little bit too small for custom loop, but this case was meant for airflow and aircooling anyway. Airflow is amazing, I’m getting really low temps. Also the included fans are good quality but I swapped them out for Noctua fans for obvious reasons.
Das mit Abstand schnste Gehuse, das ich bisher ausgebaut habe. Da das allerdings subjektiv ist, noch ein paar Fakten:
– Tolle Materialien, von den Metall-Knpfen ber das sauber verarbeitet Holz bis hin zu den gedrehten Standfen
– Kabelmanagement ohne Probleme, gummierte Durchfhrungen verhindern Aufscheuern und Gummiklappen verschlieen die Lcher optisch
– Sehr solide, keine Vibrationen und kein Rasseln zu vernehmen
– Klasse Verarbeitung, alles sitzt und rastet satt ein, kein Grat vorhanden, alles sehr passgenau
– Anleitung, Schrauben, etc. sauber beschriftet und sortiert.
Fazit: Wrde ich jederzeit wieder kaufen.
Ich bin auch nach eingen Wochen noch immer total begeistert. Eigentlich bin ich kein Fan von Holzapplikationen an technischen Gerten, aber dieses PC Gehuse sieht wirklich toll aus und pass sehr gut zu meinen Mbeln, ich finde das Design schlicht und zeitlos, insbesondere mit dem Mesh Side Panel und mit nur dezentem Leuchteffekt (nur Ramriegel leucht wei in niedriger Helligkeit) oder ganz ohne RGB. Es ist ist auch nicht einfach ein mit etwas Holz aufgehbschtes Gehuse sondern auch funtional hervorragend. Alles ist sehr wertig und detailliert konstruiert. Die Belftung ist in meiner Konfiguration absolut top. Das Gehuse blieb auch bei sommerlichen temperaturen khl. Ich finde der Preis ist absolut gerechtfertigt und wrde das Fractal North sofort wieder kaufen.
Das Fractal Design North Charcoal PC-Gehuse in der Black-Version ist eine solide Wahl. Das Holzdesign an der Front verleiht ihm eine ansprechende Note und hebt es von anderen Gehusen ab, ohne jedoch bertrieben zu wirken.
Die Kabelfhrung im Inneren des Gehuses ist gut durchdacht und bietet ausreichend Platz, um die Kabel ordentlich zu organisieren. Dies trgt zur Verbesserung der Luftstrmung und der Gesamtleistung bei.
Allerdings knnten die Schrauben fr die Blenden etwas stabiler sein. Hier besteht Verbesserungspotenzial.
Insgesamt handelt es sich beim Fractal Design North Charcoal PC-Gehuse um eine solide Option fr diejenigen, die nach einem Gehuse mit einem gewissen sthetischen Reiz und guter Funktionalitt suchen.
Hauptargument fr dieses Gehuse ist natrlich die Optik und die ist wirklich ber jeden Zweifel erhaben.
Das Gehuse passt sehr gut zu meinem ebenfalls in wei und Eiche gehaltenen Schreibtisch.
Da findet sogar meine Frau, die in Einrichtungsfragen sehr empfindlich ist, dass man den PC auch auf den Schreibtisch stellen kann, anstatt ihn darunter verstecken zu mssen. Und auch ich finde: Dieses Gehuse mit seiner klassisch-modernen, unaufgeregten Optik mchte gesehen werden.
Ja, das klingt nach Lobhudelei, aber tatschlich gefllt mir dieses Teil einfach dermaen gut und wrde bei mir jeden Design-Award gewinnen.
Das North mit Mesh-Seitenteil ist einfach erfrischend anders als dieses ganze RGB-Bling-Bling mit “Guck-meine-geile-Hardware-an-Gedns”.
Im Detail betrachtet enttuscht dass North aber auch nicht. Das Kabelmanagement gelingt einfach und ordentlich, die drei vorinstallierten Klettkabelbinder hinten nehmen alle Kabel gut auf und erlauben beliebige Abzweigungen. Natrlich knnen sie auch anders platziert werden: Gengend sen fr Kabelbinder sind berall vorhanden.
Die grundstzliche Verarbeitung ist wirklich gut. Platzprobleme hatte ich auch nicht, die kann es fr manche geben, siehe weiter unten.
Kritikpunkte:
– Wenn man auf das Mainboard blickt htte Fractal auf der rechten Seite oben noch eine ffnung fr Kabel vorsehen knnen. Je nach Konfiguration muss man ber die linke Seite gehen. Ansonsten sind aber genug Durchfhrungen vorhanden.
– Die eingebauten Frontlfter laufen mit Minimum 500-600rpm, sind bei dieser Drehzahl auch einigermaen leise. Bei hheren Drehzahlen allerdings finde ich sie zu laut. Habe sie ersetzt durch Arctic P14 PWM 140mm, die vllt auch nicht die allerleisesten Lfter sind, aber doch viel angenehmer.
– Nun zu den Platzproblemen: Wer mehr als eine Festplatte in den unteren Kfig einbauen will, bekommt u.U. Probleme, weil dann das Netzteil nur noch eine bestimmte Lnge haben darf. Die meisten “normalen” Netzteile wie mein bequiet Pure Power 11 700W sind dann zu lang und erlauben nur die Installation einer Platte.
– Bei der Mesh-Version besteht die Mglichkeit mithilfe der mitgelieferten Halterung Lfter seitlich zu installieren. Hier ist man allerdings sehr eingeschrnkt. Der CPU-Khler darf gewisse Mae nicht berschreiten, ebenso darf die Grafikkarte maximal ca 14,x cm (inkl. Kabel) breit sein.
In den meisten Konfigurationen wird es gar nicht mglich sein seitliche Lfter zu installieren.
– Von den mitgelieferten Schrauben zur Befestigung des Mainboards verkanteten sich mehrere beim Festschrauben und mussten durch andere ersetzt werden.
hnliches gilt fr die berwiegende Zahl der Daumenschrauben, die gerne verkanten und ohne Schraubendreher auch nur schwer wieder zu lsen sind.
Dafr lassen sich die Seitenteile und die obere Abdeckung sehr einfach an- und abmontieren.
Alles in allem sind die Kritikpunkte fr mich aber nicht ausschlaggebend gewesen und ich hatte keine Probleme beim Einbau.
Von mir gibt es fr das North eine klare Empfehlung, es knnte allerdings einen Tick billiger sein.
Je dteste les pc d’aujourd’hui avec des couleurs qui ptent la rtine, ce North est fait pour moi, chassieux comme jamais et discret si besoin. L’espace est grand, facile d’accs, les finitions sont propres, avec le ct en mesh et deux ventilateurs de sortie rajouts au fond et au plafond, j’ai perdu quelque degrs par rapport mon ancien botier sur lequel j’avais tomb la faade tellement il galrait.
Je ne lcherai pas de sitt ce botier.
Ich habe krzlich das Fractal Design North Chalk White Tempered Glass PC-Gehuse fr mein neues Gaming-Setup gekauft, und ich bin absolut begeistert! Schon beim Auspacken fiel mir die hochwertige Holzfront in Eichenoptik positiv auf – sie gibt dem Ganzen eine einzigartige und elegante Note, die man bei den meisten anderen Gaming-Gehusen nicht findet.
Die beiden 140mm Aspect PWM Lfter sind nicht nur leise, sondern sorgen auch fr eine hervorragende Khlung meiner Komponenten. Zudem ist das klare, gehrtete Glas-Seitenfenster ein echter Blickfang und ermglicht einen klaren Blick auf mein Innenleben. Das intuitive Innenlayout erleichterte mir den Zusammenbau enorm, und ich hatte gengend Platz, um alle meine Komponenten problemlos unterzubringen.
Alles in allem ist dieses Gehuse ein perfekter Mix aus stilvollem Design und hoher Funktionalitt. Ich kann es jedem empfehlen, der seinem Gaming-Setup einen Hauch von Eleganz verleihen mchte!
Whrend des ganzen Assemblierung hatte ich eigentlich kein Problem beim verbauen der Teile.
Die Rckseite war einfach zu managen.
Einzig beim Netzteil Bereich war mir etwas zu wenig Platz. Knnte daher etwas lnger sein.
Die Holz Front und Panel ist RICHTIG einfach zu entfernen und reinigen.
Allgemein super zu empfehlen. Habe ausversehen das Modell mit Mesh-Panel gekauft. Persnlich wrde ich lieber umtauschen und die Glasversion nehmen aber das aus- und einbauen ist mir zu viel Arbeit. 🙂
Laut einer anderen Bewertung soll das Holz ein Imitat sein. Das kann ich bei meinem nicht besttigen. Ich hab ein Echt-Holz Tisch und ein Schrank mit Imitat (Maserung wiederholt sich 1:1). Man erkennt, dass es echtes Holz ist!
(Auerdem kann man diese Holzstbe 100% als Reste bei einem Mbelhersteller bekommen. Muss man nur noch zuschneiden fr die Aufbereitung).
Schnelle Lieferung, ordentlich verpackt. Sehr gute Verarbeitung innen und auen. Einfache und sinnvolle Zugnge fr Kabel im Gehuse, dadurch einfache Installation der Hardware. Durch das Mash-Side-Panel ist der PC zwar nicht flsterleise, komme bei Mittelklasse Hardware aber auch nicht ber 60 Grad Celsius fr GPU und CPU im laufenden Betrieb! Top Gehuse und eine klare Kaufempfehlung.
Die vorinstallierten Lfter sind Leise und khlen mein System (am4 setup mit rx 6800, r5 5600 (Standardzeugs halt) sehr gut, ich wrde nur empfehlen hinten noch einen Outtake Lfter (120mm) zu installieren.
Im sogenannten Fan-Hub lassen sich Lfter ganz einfach anschlieen, und ja man kann die beiden vorinstallierten + evtl. einen zustzlichen Outtake hinten, zusammenstecken sodass die drei nur einen Steckplatz vom Fan-Hub besetzen. Der wiederum kommt an einen regulren Sys-Fan Slot auf dem Mainboard anschlieen.
Raum fr Kabelmanagement ist gegeben, Airflow ist gut, Rest ist selbsterklrend, also alles in allem ein sehr schnes Gehuse welches ich so nur weiterempfehlen kann.

I have been looking for the case that wouldn’t be all glass and lights and one that would have a statement. This was perfect. And the ease to take off panels was even better.
Ich Feier das Case. Wegen dem Langen Netzteil mssten wir einen HDD kfig ausbauen aber heutzutage reichen ja auch 2 locker. Installation war super also wie gewohnt. Keine scharfen Kanten am Case alles schn umgefalzt. SUBBER!
Lieferung war schnell und gut verpackt. Erst hatte ich Angst wegen dem Glas Panel. Ist aber heile angekommen.
Ich hoffe fractal bringt noch mehr cases in einem hnlichen Stil heraus. Sieht super im Wohnzimmer aus.

Seit geraumer Zeit wollte ich mein System auf dieses Gehuse Umbauen, nun sind sie endlich erhltlich! Optisch einfach ein Traum, und Vearbeitungstechnisch fr ein 120 Gehuse Deutlich besser als Manche Konkurrenten im 200+ Bereich!

I had a slight problem with the glass of the case, it had a manufacturing defect, an air bubble. I contacted Fractal support on their official website, I made the request (with proof) for a glass replacement. They were very responsive, in less than a week I received the new glass.
The case is very beautiful, it ventilates very well, I am very satisfied.
Several sockets at the front including a usb type-c socket.
Das Gehuse an sich fhlt sich wertig an, sieht wertig aus und auch die Verarbeitung ist grtenteils gut! Ein paar Schrauben waren super schwergngig und auch die Geometrie etwas verzogen? So passt meine Grafikkarte noch problemlos, aber im untersten PCI-E Slot ist es etwas schwieriger.
Spacer frs Mainboard sind schon montiert, man hat gute Mglichkeiten frs Kabelmanagement – und das braucht man auch bei diesem Gehuse, das frmlich schreit, das weniger mehr ist – im positiven Sinne.
Neutral bewerte ich noch den Geruschpegel. Dadurch dass es ein relativ offenes Gehuse ist und auch bei der Tempered Glas Version Mesh ist, ist es natrlich nicht leise. Weist dafr aber sehr gute Eigenschaften im Bereich der Wrmeabfuhr auf.
Leider sind es dann kleine Details, wie die etwas altbackenen HDD Cages, der unntig komplizierte Zugang zum Netzteil und die besagten Schrauben, die bei mir den Eindruck hinterlassen, dass das Gehuse von Anfang an fr diesen Preis htte verkauft werden sollen. Denn paar von den Sachen habe ich schon vor 10 Jahren besser gelst gesehen.
Denn abgesehen vom Holz-Gimmick, ist es einfach nur ein gutes, unscheinbares Mid-Range Gehuse, das nicht sonderlich auffllt, aber ansonsten sehr gute Eigenschaften aufweist. Ich denke fr 110 – 120 Euro, absolut empfehlenswert. Insbesondere wenn man nicht unbedingt den krassen Gamerlook im Wohnzimmer haben mchte.
Das Fractal Design North Chalk White PC Gehuse hat mich schlichtweg umgehauen! Sein elegantes, weies Design verleiht meinem Setup eine beeindruckende sthetik, die sich nahtlos in meine Arbeitsumgebung einfgt.

Die durchdachten Details wie abnehmbare Staubfilter und leicht zugngliche Anschlsse an der Vorderseite haben meinen Alltag wirklich erleichtert. Ich schtze auch die Vielseitigkeit des Gehuses, das genug Platz fr zuknftige Upgrades bietet.
Insgesamt bin ich von dem Fractal Design North Chalk White PC Gehuse absolut begeistert. Es vereint Stil, Funktionalitt und Qualitt in einer beeindruckenden Weise. Mein Setup hat dank dieses Gehuses einen neuen Hhepunkt erreicht!
Esta caja desde el embalaje se ve que es una caja de alta calidad y ya cuando la abres y ves los acabados ves que es un producto de alta gama. Adems el toque de madera natural que tiene el frontal le da un aspecto perfecto para poder ser usada en cualquier sitio con un ambiente minimalista.
it’s sturdy and well-made and is easy to access anything you need to. I only have a few issues with it and it’s not major. 1 it only has space for two 120mm/140mm fans on the top. 2 it only comes with two 140mm fans and they’re both in the front. but it’s not that big a deal. i put both the stock fans in the top and got a 5 pack 120mm fans and put one in the back and three in the front. overall, I really like this case. it looks really nice and its very functional.
Case bello, robusto e ben organizzato internamente. Non il migliore per quanto riguarda il routing dei cavi, presenta purtroppo pochi fori e piccoli attorno alla scheda madre che rendono meno agevole il cable management. Compensa con l’estetica e con una qualit costruttiva sopra la media.

I’ve been looking for the case for over half a year now and to say I was elated when I managed to find it here would be an understatement. It arrived, I believe, in a week and a half, it was packed well and I have nothing negative to say about it whatsoever. It’s gorgeous, easy to assemble and disassemble and although I’d seen a lot of reviews with some concerns about cable management space, I managed to set up everything fine and as far as my personal needs go, I’m completely satisfied with the case. Did I mention it’s gorgeous? It’s absolutely stunning!
Es una belleza de gabinete si lo que buscas es una apariencia mas elegante que gamer y adems con diferentes pequeas cosas que ayudan a una buena gestin de cables/componentes.
En cuanto a temperaturas, yo vivo en una ciudad donde es normal llegar a los 40C en temporadas y no acostumbro tener encendido mucho el aire acondicionado si no se necesita y adems tengo 6 ventiladores instalados en el gabinete (los tengo desde meses atrs mas que nada para llenar todos los espacios) y las temperaturas no son preocupacin en absoluto an jugando.
The most important part of this case is the level of detail that goes into even the smallest pieces. Just to name a couple; The removable PSU panel was something that I questioned early in my build but when it came down to plugging in all the wires it was so easy to just take everything out to make sure all the cables were seated properly. The other standout detail to me is that all the side panel screws have been built into the case so they can’t be removed, thus they can’t get lost! The designs on this case ease the quality of life to the max. My only gripe is that it may not have the best clearance for GPU’s on the larger side. Make sure to check your measurements before purchasing! Other than that this case is a fantastic build experience and looks great too!!
Mon seul reproche, deux emplacements pour disque dur compatible SSD 2.5 et deux emplacement ddis SSD 2.5 au dos.
Sauf que mon alimentation mange la place d’un des deux paniers disque dur, donc il n’y a plus de place que pour 3 disques… J’ai donc deux SSD qui se balade par dessus un autre, c’est pas super top il faut avouer.
Ah oui, le petit dtail, vraiment anecdotique, mais en 2023, il n’y a pas autre chose de plus pratique que ces vis main pour accrocher les panneaux latraux ??
Je chipote, car vraiment, c’est le premier PC que je pose volontairement sur mon bureau !
This case is the dream of someone, who would like to keep his Setup minimalistic and clean.
I’ve had a variety of cases in the past but nothing alike this one. For me, I think the wood is definitely an eye catching detail and something you wouldn’t expect to see in a pc build.
It’s really good for cable management and I’m really happy with how my build turned out.
Absolute recommendation on this one!

The glass is really dark and due to the fact, that I don’t use any RGB components, there is no light source, that is shining from the inside.
I’m adding images because I was able to capture the case as it looks with my camera (Fujifilm XT2). So if anyone thinks the wood looks dark compared to the other reviewers image this is actually how it looks and isn’t a quality control issue where the wood can look different to the official images. However some orange tinting may be on the case due to my 1800K lightbulb and of course lighting can make the wood look brighter or darker.
This case has been the case i’ve been looking for for a long time. Perfect looks and also good performance that looks simple, elegant and not “epic” or “Gamer” look for lack of a better word.
The wood perfectly matched the desk it resides under and the black metal legs so it actually looks like it was made to match. It may not appear on these images but the colour of the case is noy black but a dark grey which looks better than plain black, even the texture and finish of the paint on the metal feels like good quality. There is a fake leather strap to pull the top panel off, although in this case I feel it’s actually better than real leather because I maintain my leather boots and without care the dry warm air will eventually degrade and crack the leather but won’t have any effect on fake leather.
On to the case itself the entire thing is basically metal, the only plastic parts is the inner frame that holds the wood slats and the reinforcement structure in the top panel under the mesh and that is it. Even the area around the front panel ports is metal. The mesh is metal on top and side panel, my case isn’t the tempered glass as I am personally not a fan of it, my case came with a fan hub inside, apparantly the tempered glass one doesn’t include this but I can’t confirm other than people mentioning it.
In terms of side it’s a good size at least for me and is similar to my old case which is a Corsair 4000D. The cooling is good being almostt he whole thing is open, there is a dust filter ont eh front behind the wood that can be removed. I have found the mesh side to actually be handy in allowing the GPU to pull in cooler air from outside and avoid being trapped as the tempered glass of my old case would get pretty warm after a while whcih of course the GPU is using the same air for cooling. My GPU for reference is 310mm long and this is how it looks, I believe the case is rated for max length of 350 or so.
There are a few downsides which are not a big deal to me but at the top there is only one hole for cable management which means I had to fit multiple cables through it which is tough and also the hole placement at the bottom is not as good as my old case. However there is plenty of space in the back for cables, more than my old case with no bulging out panel. The other potential downside is there is an add on included to add two fans on the side but it has very little use unelss you use a water cooler as it uses too much space where it will get in the way of the GPU or the air cooler I have so at least for me it’s unusable, but I was never intending to use it and already knew of this issue before buying. However if you want a full in-depth analysis and review then check the review out by the Gamers Nexus YouTube channel as they will accuratly measure everything for this case.
Habe lange berlegt, ob sich der doch recht hohe Preis lohnt aber bin sehr froh, es gekauft zu haben.
Kabelmanagement ist super einfach, da man auf der Rckseite einen recht groen Spielraum hat.
Der einzig negative Punkt ist das innere, das leider nicht wei ist. Darber kann man aber hinwegsehen wenn zB das Motherboard wei ist, da es einen angenehmen Kontrast schafft.
AirFlow ist top und die Qualitt ist sehr hochwertig. Auerdem bekommt man noch smtliche passende Schrauben dazu um zB Festplatten im Gehuse zu befestigen.
I could barely find any fault to its engineering design, but even if they are really minor things I’ll note them here.
CONS:
* Some thumb screws were really hard to loosen from the case the first time and had to use a screwdriver for it. This is not a problem anymore, it happened only the first time, although it happened in most of the thumb screws.
* The top panel is not secured with screws and slides out of place easily. It can become annoying if you have a tendency like mine to use the top of the case to support you when looking behind the case. This is also a minor thing too, as the panel will never fall because it only slides about 1cm and then you have to pull it in an angle to remove it.
PROS:
* Strong materials. The only thing that bends is the mesh side panel, although thanks to its reinforcements it would be had to damage it. Everything else is really sturdy.
* High quality finishing. Every part is fully painted even if it is not visible from the outside. Paint looks great without any grain/bubble/drop. Case buttons/USB/Audio connectors are perfectly aligned in the holes made for them in the case. All panel joints are perfectly aligned in have a consistent spacing.
* Lots of quality-of-life features. Assembling the PC inside of this case is really gratifying as every need you might have is covered. Do you need to hide a tube? There’s quite likely a hole where you can tie it. Do you need to move an AIO up or down? No problem, as the holes to attach it are elongated so you don’t need to fully unscrew it, just loosen it and put it wherever you want. These are a couple of examples, but there’s lots of others I could find.
* Support for lots of fan and radiator configurations. I was able to fit 2 AIOs of 240 mm without any problem, one at the top and another at the front. In the top you can fit one 240mm radiator (but not a 280mm one) or 2 fans of 120/140mm. In the front you can fit any standard radiator of 360/280/240mm, or, if you prefer only fans you could use 2 140mm fans or 3 120mm ones. It allows placing another 120mm fan next to the motherboard backplate, and if your graphics card is at most 2 slots thick, you could place another 80mm fan below it towards the bottom of the case. It also includes a tray to place 2 extra fans (120mm or 140mm) just pointing to the motherboard. The case includes 2 140mm fans, although I haven’t used them.
* Easy cable management. There’s lots of places to strap your cables to in the back side of the motherboard and several holes to bring them back to the motherboard connectors.
* Looks amazing, although you wouldn’t be reading this if you didn’t like it already

J’ai rien dire dessus si ce n’est qu’il est un peu cher l’achat.
Cependant si vous avez les moyens fonc vous en le regretterez pas.
Der Einbau war etwas einfacher als in meinem alten Meshify C, da das Case trotz gleichem Formfaktor mehr Innenraum hat. Das Case sieht sehr gut aus, der Ausschalter fhlt sich wertiger an, die Oberseite ist einfacher zu reinigen und der USB C Port funktioniert einwandfrei.
Loved the look of this case and had a hard time finding one in stock until recently.
Relatively easy to build in with the only exception of installing the fans which can be quite tricky (if not mounting to a RAD). To mount them on the outside behind the mesh filter you have to screw them in from the inside and it’s particularly difficult to install the last two screws of the bottom fan (if using 3 X 120mm) as the power supply shroud restricts access. Thread the fans first or it’ll be impossible.
Only other gripe would be potential clearance issues when using an AIO with a beefy GPU – May make this case unsuitable in certain configurations if graphics cards keep getting larger.
I switched to air cooling with the Thermalright PS120SE (~40) and after adjusting fan curves it’s significantly quieter than the 280mm AIO that I had previously. It also leaves me a significant amount extra space that would have been otherwise occupied by the RAD.
It’s a beautiful case and well worth the investment IMO.

Finition/packaging : rien signaler, le North est trs fidle aux images et vidos de prsentation. Pour la version full mesh que j’ai choisi, les grilles sont bien rigides et les perforations (~1mm de diamtre) laissent bien passer l’air. Il ne manquait aucun accessoire de montage (kit de montage 280mm latral, visserie).
Montage : je pensais faire des concessions sur la facilit de montage en revenant sur une moyenne tour classique et bien pas du tout. Les panneaux s’enlvent astucieusement pour laisser la place de monter les composants. Le seul bmol est sur la face haute : en montant le radiateur du kit watercooling 240mm, il reste peu d’espace pour ajuster les branchements sur le haut de carte mre. Dommage que le plateau de montage ne soit pas dmontable, a aurait t parfait. l’arrire, on trouve galement bcp de place pour ranger les cbles et le hub PWM est pratique. l’avant, il y a de la place pour une carte graphique assez grande (30,5cm sur la photo) et l’ouverture en dessous est pratique pour passer les cbles d’alimentation. Les ventilateurs latraux s’installent facilement sur un support dmontable avec deux vis. Globalement, c’est trs simple d’installer une config milieu voire haut de gamme.
Performance et bruit : aprs presque un mois d’utilisation, les tempratures sont trs bonnes sur une config assez nergivore (Ryzen 7 5800X et Radeon 7900XTX). Le CPU ne dpasse pas les 60 mme sur de grosses charges (compilation de programme pour mon usage pro). La carte graphique, elle, peut atteindre 70 aprs 1-2h de jeu mais cela est aussi li au rglage de la ventilation que je ne voulais pas trop agressive sur la carte graphique et les ventilateurs latraux. Je suis plutt surpris positivement de l’impact des ventilateurs latraux 800-900RPM sachant que la 7900XTX consomme facilement 360W en pleine charge.
Concernant le bruit, c’est relativement bruyant si on ne limite pas les ventilateurs et mme dans ce cas il ne faut pas esprer le silence complet en charge. C’est un boitier perfor 4 faces sur 6, donc il y a forcment plus de bruit qu’avec des panneaux pleins ou vitrs.
En conclusion, malgr un prix trop lev d la raret (il devrait tre plutt vers 160), le North est un boitier assez exceptionnel et simple la fois. Les finitions sont de top qualit et il n’est pas juste joli mais aussi efficace.
Zuerst zur Verpackung:
Stabiler Karton, das Case selbst war zuerst in Fole eingeschlagen und in passenden Schaumstoff gesetzt, es kam alles heil an.
Zum Case:
Sieht auf den Bildern etwas schlanker aus, als es tatschlich ist, ist jedoch trotzdem ein schnes Case.
Der Platz frs Kabelmanagement sollte vielleicht 5mm tiefer sein, dann knnte man auch die dickeren Kabel der Stromversorgung ohne Drcken unterbringen.
Schraubverbindungen frs Motherboard haben perfekt gepasst.
Die Schrauben, die die Abdeckungen halten, waren vielleicht etwas zu stark ab Werk angezogen, lieen sich aber mit einem Schraubenzieher und etwas Kraft dann lsen.
Einer der Lfter klackert minimal, aber ich muss noch herausfinden, ob es einer der schon eingebauten Lfter oder einer der beiden CPU-Lfter ist.
Hier wurde bei einer Rezension geschrieben, dass es sich bei der Front um Plastik in Holzoptik handelt. Das ist nicht richtig, es handelt sich bei den Streben um Echtholz – genau das macht dieses Gehuse ja so besonders.
Es wurde auerdem geschrieben, dass die vorderen Lfter bei geringer Drehzahl klacken. Auch das kann ich nicht besttigen, bei mir klackt berhaupt nichts. Ob die Lfter bei hohen Drehzahlen sehr laut sind, kann ich nicht beurteilen. Durch das Meshdesign hatte ich noch keine Temperaturen im Gehuse, die dafr gesorgt htten, dass die Lfter hochdrehen. Das Gehuse ist sehr leise und mich strt eher der Boxkhler von Intel als kleiner Strenfried. 😉
Das Kabelmanagement ist auch sehr gelungen, gengend Platz hinter dem Mainboard und ffnungen nach vorne an den richtigen Stellen und zum Teil mit Gummilippen.
Die Abstandshalter fr das Mainboard sind bis auf einen schon vorkonfiguriert – vorbildlich. Die beigefgte Anleitung ist ebenfalls sehr gut – daran sollten sich andere Hersteller ein Beispiel nehmen! Des Weiteren liegt eine Halterung dabei, falls man am Mesh-Panel noch zustzliche Lfter installieren mchte – auch gut, dass die nicht standardmig installiert ist – braucht man sicher nur bei extremer Gaming-Konfiguration.
Der einzig kleine Kritikpunkt ist, dass das Mesh-Panel ein klein wenig im oberen Bereich absteht whrend es unten plan ist. Aber das fllt nur auf, wenn ganz genau und penibel hingeschaut wird.
Last but not least bleibt hervorzuheben, dass das Gehuse ber einen USB-C Anschluss an der Front oben verfgt, sofern man ein Mainboard hat, welches ber diesen Anschluss verfgt, ist das eine tolle Sache und man muss bei den Mitbewerbern (auch in dieser Preisklasse) schon eine Weile suchen, um Gehuse mit diesem Feature zu finden.
Fazit: Das Fractal North hat sich die volle Punktzahl redlich verdient. Ich kann es guten Gewissens weiterempfehlen.
Ich habe mir dieses Gehuse vor kurzer Zeit zugelegt und bin sehr begeistert. Der bisher einzige negativ Aspekt ist meiner Meinung nach, dass der Power Button und die Fe bei dem Schwarzen Modell in einer Bronze artigen Farbe sind und ich lieber das Silber wie beim weien Modell gesehen htte. Das ist jedoch Geschmacksache.
Als ich es bestellt hatte war das Gehuse leider ausverkauft, weshalb ich einen Monat darauf warten musste, wofr jedoch sowohl Fractal Design, als auch Amazon nichts knnen.
Es ist zwar nicht das gerumigste Gehuse, jedoch passt bei mir alles problemlos hinein (ich besitze ATX Mainboard, RTX 3070 TI FE, 240mm AIO, 750W, 2x HDD mglich, 2x SSD 2,5″ mglich). Oben ist Platz fr einen 240mm Radiator und vorne passen sogar 360mm hinein. Mitgeliefert sind zwei 120mm Lfter, welche meiner Meinung nach eine angenehme Lautstrke haben. Alle Tren und Einstze des Gehuses sind zudem mit bloer Hand entfernbar, was sehr angenehm ist sollte man einzelne Teile nachrsten wollen oder mal wieder sauber gemacht werden.
Alles in allem finde ich ist es ein sehr gelungenes Gehuse fr alle die es schlicht und ohne viel RGB und Schnickschnack mgen.
PS: Ich habe dafr ca. 143 bezahlt, die es fr mich vollkommen wert waren.

Optisch trifft das Gehuse genau meinen Geschmack. Das Handling ist aber leider sehr unausgewogen. Einerseits wird der Deckel an einem Stck Kunst-Leder abgezogen. Sehr schn. Andererseits werden die Seitenpanels mit Schrauben am Gehuse befestigt. Nicht so schn. Das ist bei anderen Cases der gleichen Marke deutlich besser gelst. Das Gehuse kommt nur mit zwei Front-Lftern. Es gibt auch Platz fr einen rckwrtigen Lfter. Der ist aber nicht im Lieferumfang enthalten.
Gehuse ist hochwertig verarbeitet und macht einen perfekten Eindruck. Wer gaaaanz genau hinsieht kann an unwichtigen Stellen etwas unsaubere Lackierung erkennen, aber das strt das edle Gesamtbild berhaupt nicht. Auch der Knopf drckt sich hochwertig – fr mich extrem wichtig. Die Holzteile vorn sind logischerweise aus Plastik, fassen sich aber gut an und optisch kann man den Unterschied kaum erkennen.
Die Meshabdeckungen sind optisch und haptisch ehrlicherweise etwas anders als erwartet. Ich finde die sehen im gerenderten Produktvideo anders aus. Sind halt gelochte Metallplatten. Fasst man ja aber nicht tglich an.
Am cleversten ist die obere Abdeckung, leicht zu demontieren und bietet eben auch Luftdurchlass da wo er gebraucht wird. Perfekt fr den Sitz der AIO Wasserkhlung.
Das Innere ist ebenfalls aufgerumt und bietet genug Platz fr ATX und eine RTX 4070ti. Der Innenraum sieht so toll aus, dass ich mir wohl doch nochmal das Gehuse mit der Glasseite hole, auch wenn da das Luftkonzept nicht so toll sein wird. Bei der Mesh Seitenklappe knnte man optional sogar noch extra Lfter verbauen, ein Montageset liegt bei. Wrmetechnisch habe ich das bisher nicht gebraucht, aber ich habe oben wie gesagt auch eine groe AIO verbaut.
Einzige Contrapunkt ist sicher der teilweise explodierte Preis und die ewige Lieferzeit. Und ich htte mir hinten neben der IO Blende auch noch einen Lfter gewnscht, habe ich jetzt nachgekauft.
Alles in allem war ich mir beim Kauf unsicher und habe nich andere Cases bestellt gehabt. Aber als ich das hier ausgepackt hatte, habe ich den Rest gleich storniert. Das Ding berzeugt einfach und ist genau das was ich suchte.

Ich habe den PC im Wohnzimmer stehen.
Im Gegensatz zu meinem alten Gehuse sieht der PC nun echt hbsch aus.
Es passen auch eine 4080Fe und eine 280 Aio problemlos rein.
Bis auf das Design ist das Gehuse allerdings nicht wirklich besser als andere, die teilweise deutlich gnstiger sind.

Algo caro debido a la gran demanda y el poco stock que hay actualmente. Con cuenta gotas consegui una por 171. Por los 140-150 deberia de andar normalmente. Finalmente es una gran caja con muy buena entrada y salida de aire, de temperaturas va a ir de lujo, y es extremadamente bonita.
