Colourful
Pair of wii replacement controls. These work well and paired with the wii easily. It’s nice to find colourful controls as normally they are just black or white. The controls work well, and have good grip with the silicone cases.

Firm grip, smooth play
These controllers caught my eye with their vibrant red and blue colours. Once in hand, their silicone cases provided a reassuringly firm grip, while the wrist straps added an extra layer of security. The controllers paired quickly and easily, maintaining a stable connection up to 8 meters away. However, do clear past connection histories and avoid infrared radiation to ensure optimal performance. The battery life was dependable, even when using AA batteries. Although dock charging is an option, the batteries are not included. They lacked the Motion Plus feature, but their other functions compensated for it, making my gaming experience thoroughly enjoyable.
Very bright colours ok as a backup
Got these so.can play multiplayer and one of the original remotes was playing up. These are both different colours and they do feel cheap and cheerful so don’t think these will last as long as the originals.
They do work ok with less complicated games. It struggles with games like Mario kart. They do a basic job.

A controller set to keep around for guests
I’ll be frank, these controllers aren’t the greatest quality, they look and feel cheap, most obviously an imitation of the real Wii controllers. But as a spare, these controllers surprisingly do the job when it comes to most basic Wii games.
The controllers immediately feel cheap although the colours look vibrant and attractive. The controllers feel like they have nothing inside, very hollow and with a thin plastic housing. Upon comparison with my original Wii controllers, it was clear to notice the lesser build quality, from the casing to the buttons. On the other hand, you still get some value in these controllers coming with silicone cases and colour-matching straps.
These controllers fortunately connected to my Wii without issue. The Wii controllers paired while they were powered via some AA disposable batteries. I believe these controllers do not come with Wii MotionPlus but with functioning motion and buttons, they have worked on various games i.e. Mario Kart, Lego Batman and Mario Party. Subsequently, these controllers have served the basic needs of having some extra controllers on hand for guests and siblings. I suspect, however, these controllers given the build quality won’t last too long as I’ve discovered with other non-brand controllers of past consoles.
Amazing Wii Remotes
These wii remotes are genuinely very good. I’ve been using them both with my Wii and with the dolphin emulator and I’m glad to say they work great on both. The build quality feels good and the colours look great, they are also of course compatible with all Wii remote attachments. I definitely recommend these 🙂

I still use my Nintendo Wii often but as it’s not been a current console for about 15 years now it’s tricky to get additional or replacement controllers and although these are not office they look and feel exactly the same quality and work perfectly with it. Highly recommended rather than buying a grubby second hand one.

Decent spares - work well
These are much cheaper than the original remotes and seem to connect as easily, work just as well (with a couple of missed button presses but that happens with the originals anyway). They look good, come with the silicone cases to make them look more modern and are easy to insert batteries (normal AA batteries). These work with both the WiiU and Wii and are great as spares or for additional visiting gamers.
Perfectly Happy With Both Remotes
I like the bright bold colours of both remotes in this set. A few years ago, we replaced our remotes but not with originals because of price and we had no issues with cheaper remotes, so have found these remotes to be just the same and work just as well without the hefty price tag.
We use rechargeable batteries in the remotes, and these have been going strong well over 10 days now. Easy to connect and synch.
These remotes are affordable and work just fine.
They also include the protective silicone casing and both remotes have wrist straps.
For casual Wii ‘gamers’ they do as us just fine as a family and can’t fault these remotes
Not as good as the original but a good replaceme
Recently got the wii out and couldn’t find the controllers so was pleased to take these for a review. They come in a tiny little box neatly packaged. One of the controllers is bright red and one is blue as pictured and they have a silicone grip sleeves already on and wrist straps. They take two AA batteries which were not supplied. I don’t think they feel as sturdy as the original but they operate well and I can’t really see any obvious difference in the quality of response. These are very cheap price for replacement controllers and they connect to the console in the same way.
Overall better the original ones
These controllers for the Wii are not original but we got them so the kids can use them while we use the original ones.
The colour is bright blue and red and the kids love the colours.
However, the price is 13.5 each, and for the same price, you can get a used but original controller. Occasionally you can find one with the Wii motion plus incorporated.
So, are they worth buying?
Mine at the moment are working fine. However, I cannot compare them with the original ones that I already possess because they have the Wii motion plus incorporated. I can tell that for kids are ok but I would generally prefer to buy the original ones.
Alright for 3rd party controllers
These unofficial Wii remote game controllers are bright red and blue as pictured and supplied with silicone grip sleeves.
Batteries weren’t supplied so we’ve tested these with Amazon Basics AA batteries which have lasted them through several gaming sessions thus far. They operate as well as the official controllers with the obvious difference (other than the colours) being the quality of plastic used for the buttons.
They work fine, having connected successfully to both of our Wii consoles. They do not have the Wii Motion Plus functionality, however, as basic spare Wii remote for family gaming sessions and when friends come over, they are fine for the price.

Not quite as good as the real thing
For the price these HENTOK Wii Controllers are a good deal but just don’t expect the same element of controls as with Nintendos originals.
The controllers certainly feel the part with everything in the right place and even the text being very similar but there’s a more plasticity feel to them and buttons aren’t quite as responsive. Using this on the Wii U in Wii mode it paired fine and the motion controls worked to control the cursor and games like Excite Truck but I got the feeling that the motion controls were slightly laggy. It’s not as noticeable in some games and it’s fine for a younger player or games like Just Dance that don’t need precise control (despite what they pretend).
So ultimately not as good as the originals but then they are half the price and good enough for general casual gaming
Great Back Up
Nothing wrong with these controllers, initailly I thought there was a bit of ‘lag’ with the controller(s) being a millisecond or so behind the action. However, this did not last and it was probably just bedding in and finding the right frequency.
As I have said..nothing wrong with these and a very good price at 26 for two.

Handy extra wiimotes
These are ok as backups, they work fairly well but sometimes the motion isn’t registered. In the hand they feel ok and they work fine with the nunchuck.

Good in an emergency
At around 13 each these are cheap replacement Wii controllers that have the same layout and dimensions as the ones from Nintendo.
They take 2 AA batteries and they connect to the console in the same fashion easily.
They feel like a cheaper build quality than the official ones – naturally because they are much cheaper.
Functionality wise, they work well 99% of the time but can occasionally miss a response – but then occasionally the official ones wouldn’t register too, maybe not as often as these though.
These would make good spares or controllers to keep in the drawer for visiting family.
Great remotes!
This two pack of wii remotes are amazing value for money as you also get two protective silicone cases that come with them too! They are great quality and are highly sensitive too. I highly recommend these! (Also very comfortable to hold) and great connectivity.
Great budget optio
This set of Wii controllers are a great budget option. They work well and are responsive. I find them easy and comfortable to hold. Great various games!
Great replacement for originals
I bought these as an extra 2 controllers so we can have 4 player games. I can’t tell the difference between these and the original Nintendo ones (apart from.the colour) so I would definitely recommend these.
