Da hat jemand tatschlich einmal 3 Minuten ber eine sinnvolle Konstruktion eines Wandankers nachgedacht – zumindest mehr als der Mitbewerb.
Leider ist diese “Dose” sehr berteuert, dafr das sie auch nur mittelmssig verarbeitet ist; die Rnder auf der Seite zur Wand sind beispielsweise sehr uneben, auch der Gummideckel sitzt nicht wirklich fest und sauber als Abschluss drauf.
Positiv ist, dass es 8 Lcher gibt – hat man sich einmal verbohrt, kann man es an einer anderen Stelle neu versuchen.
Bei meiner Stahlbetonwand gingen die Schrauben (funktionieren brigens ohne Dbel) sehr schwer rein, ich musste die Bohrlcher leicht vergrssern. Das Einschrauben hat dann trotzdem gut eine halbe Stunde gedauert, da man nur sehr vorsichtig vorgehen sollte, damit die Torx-Schraubenkpfe nicht ausfransen.
Installed one of these in a brick wall. Marked out the holes with a sharpie and used a 6mm masonry bit (in fact I used two bits as the first one went blunt after the 2nd hole) . I suggest you mark the 90 mm point on the drill and then drill as far as you can using the drill fully back in the chuck and then extend the drill in the chuck as theres not much for the chuck to grip once its out far enough to drill 90mm. The screws provided take some effort to screw in, I used an impact gun and it struggled to wind the screws into the solid brick, so I used a 1/2 ” drive t- bar to wind it in as far as I could and then a ratchet to tighten it fully. Its very solid and you can remove the screws to leave only 6mm holes in the wall. Perhaps it would be a better idea to use a sleeve anchor as this would be A LOT easier to install
I attached this to a frame wall in my shed with carriage bolts that go through the stud and terminate on the outside wall. The bolt is smooth on the outside so there’s no way to remove it from that area. Inside, it’s also very difficult to remove or break as it’s very well-made and heavy duty. In order to access the head of the bolts to undo, the chain would have to be removed in order to unscrew the inner keeper.
I used a hardened steel chain that easily loops through the opening. All in all, this suited my needs for bike security very well especially in a town where bike theft is rampant even in locked sheds and garages.
I wish I had thought of that before I had drilled four 7/32″ holes into the ground. I figured that was the closest to the 6mm bolts provided, but I struggled to screw them in to 7/32″ holes. I ended up finding a 15/64″ bit here on amazon that I could use to widen the holes slightly, after which I could get the bolts in.
Otherwise I love this lock, it’s small and sleek and secure. After searching for bike lock options for inside my home garage I settled on the ANKR and I’m very happy I did.
One detail I couldn’t find online ahead of purchase was the size of the opening, so here are some photos. It’s about 1 3/4″ high and slightly more than 2 3/4″ wide.
Also makes sure your bits are long enough. I initially bought a T30 driver bit that was too short – it needs to be able to reach down inside the casing. So to summarize:
– A 6mm masonry drill bit able to drill at least 90 mm deep; or 15/64″ bit able to drill 3.5″ deep
– A T30 driver bit at least 7.5cm or 3″ long
– A 10 mm or 3/8″ hex Allen wrench
Super stabil, bei richtiger Montage kann die Verankerung sicher nicht einmal ein Auto rausreien.
Die ffnung ist gro genug (Habe ein ABUS 85cm) und ist mit Sicherheit fr fast alle gngigen Schlsser anwendbar.
Einziges Manko. 65 fr etwas Metall mit Verkleidung find ich etwas teuer aber Qualitt kostet nun mal bekanntlich.

look good and solid, just wondering if they had included a socket to unscrew the center part as I didn’t have this big allen key on my home set tools.
Just what I was looking for sturdy and safe, the only downfall was you need a large alander key which is not supplied, for the price I would think it was included, I had to go and buy a whole set just for the large key, but overall, I’m happy with this bike anchor, I feel content that my bike is safe.
Durchdachte Konstruktion ohne selbstzerstrende Schrauben. Der Anker lsst sich wieder von der Wand lsten, wenn nichts angeschlossen ist. Die Konkurrenzprodukte lassen sich einmal angebracht nicht mehr ohne weiteres von der Wand lsen.

Does exactly what it says it does. Recommended. Use two of these to lock my bike to the wall right outside my home, no problems. Easy to secure and simple to use.
The bracket is bigger than expected but therefore easy to get the chain in. Really easy to fit, solid and well made. Took about 10 minutes to fit and solid on the wall. The inner bracket stops someone unbolting the fixings as this is impossible with the chain fitted. Very happy with the purchase
Von der Qualitt her gibt es nichts zu meckern. Der Wandanker war uns nur zu gro. Da die se doch einen sehr groen Umfang hat und somit die Gefahr besteht, dass dort mit einem entsprechenden Werkzeug der Anker aus der Wand gehebelt werden kann.
Aber an sich ein hochwertiges Produkt, welches im Preis Leistungsverhltnis stimmt.

Very solid anchor easy to install but you need a long reach drill if the exact correct diameter, installed in brick breeze block combo wall, very solid once bolted in you will have to take out wall with sledge to budge it.
In der Montageanleitung steht, man knne die mitgelieferten Schraubanker, die ohne Dbel in Holz, Mauerwerk, Stein oder Beton geschraubt werden knnen mit einem Schlagschrauber oder mit einer Ratsche mit Verlngerung einschrauben, nachdem jeweils ein 6mm Loch in die Wand gebohrt wurde.
Nach dem Einbau an einer alten Betonwand wrde ich jedem zu einem Schlagschrauber raten und wnschte, ich htte einen gehabt! Das Einschrauben mit der Ratsche war extrem schwer.
Robustheit/Sicherheit:
Der “Ankr” macht einen sehr robusten Eindruck an. Der einzige, offensichtliche Angriffspunkt ist das Loch an dem die Kette/das Schloss durch gesteckt wird. Hier knnte ein Dieb eine (Brech-)Stange einfhren um den “Ankr” zu verdrehen und somit mglicherweise die Schrauben abzuscheren.
Um dies zu verhindern, habe ich die 14mm Motorradkette, mit der das Fahrrad befestigt wird, zwei mal durch die ffnung gefhrt. Damit ist dort, denke ich, kein Platz mehr fr eine Stange, die stabil genug wre um genug Kraft aufbringen zu knnen um den “Ankr” oder die Schraubanker zu beschdigen.
Preis/Leistung:
Fr das gelieferte (Zwei Teile aus gehrtetem Stahl, eine Plastikkappe, 4 Schrauben), ist der Preis schon wirklich happig. Das einzige Konkurrenzprodukt mit hnlichen Merkmalen (Sehr sicher, dabei leicht wieder zu entfernen) , das ich kenne, der “Double Doofer” von Pragmasis, kostet aber sogar mehr und ist derzeit aus GB nicht in die EU lieferbar. Alle anderen Konkurrenzprodukte sind entweder nicht so massiv, werden “fr immer” angebracht (Kugellagerkugeln werden in die Inbuschraubkpfe geschlagen, so dass diese heraus gebohrt werden mssen) oder sind nur fr kleinere Schlsser geeignet.
Perfect to be used with a U-lock or a chain lock even the most thick. Very easy to fix on the wall but you shall pay attention to the length of your drill bit because the fixation screws are very long. The only negative point is the size of the internal hole that usually serves to rotate the central piece that hides the fixation screws. The hole is so big that you need to have a truck driver allen key to rotate this crucial part.
I was required to fit a Ground or Wall anchor for my bike insurance. The ANKR met the specifications and was easy to install.

Would take a guy with a grinder several mounts to cut thru drawing attention to themselves. They look good , are versatile and tough. I’ll buy more if I need something similar. I’m happy with them.
Pretty happy with this. Easy to install into a brick wall with a 6mm drill bit. Feels really solid. Fits a 14mm heavy chain through it. Good peace of mind for my ebike.

Got this as I liked the idea of being able to move the anchor around if I moved house or wanted to reorganise the garage in future, without having to resort to chiselling out a section of concrete which is probably what you’d need to do to remove most ‘conventional’ anchors. Part of me wondered if the concrete screws it uses will make it less robust than the expansion bolts which most others use, but as it achieved sold secure gold rating it must be pretty good! The body of the anchor itself also looks pretty robust, and due to its size and the two layers of steel would definitely slow any attacker down even with an angle grinder (although as with basically any anchor I doubt that it would actually stop an angle grinder in the hands of a determined thief, it would just add a couple of minutes delay).
The design works really well in my opinion – installation was easy, and didn’t need to get my big sds drill out or buy a 16mm bit as I would have done for most competitors. Did have to buy a slightly longer masonry bit though, as the screws need 6mm x 90mm pilot holes, which was just a bit too long for the bit which came with my drill.
The hole for passing your lock through is a decent size, and should easily take basically all cable locks and D locks. I use it with a 14mm kryptonite chain and it fits through fine. I imagine that’s probably the biggest chain that most people would need to fit through an anchor like this, but I reckon a slightly chunkier chain would fit through if you wanted (would be tight though).
Price seems comparable with other sold secure gold rated anchors.
Think that’s basically it – easy to install, nice to be able to reposition it in future, seems robust, accommodates most locks/chains, and the design even looks nice too!
Der Anker ist sehr stabil.
Fr die acht Lcher liegen jedoch nur vier Schrauben bei. Wenn man auf ganz sicher gehen will, muss man 4 Schrauben nachkaufen.
Sehr gut finde ich die groe ffnung fr die Kette und dass man den Anker im Gegensatz zu anderen Ankern zurckbauen kann.
Eine ganz klare Kaufempfehlung.
