Was the same as previous but with dryer- well worth the investme
I used to have the washer version of this in my student house, now I moved in to live on my own I decided to invest in what I new to be a great washer, but didn’t have room for a dryer. This is ideal, as it works perfectly to wash my clothes, was just as easy to install as the washer but the dryer function is excellent. As with most washer dryers, the most absorbent germnts come out a little damp on occasion, but I’ve barely noticed and if I hang towels while they;re still warm (which is possible thanks to the delay feature), they’re all perfect within a day! I usually take advantage of this delay to run the washer overnight, when energy is cheapest, and then it’s possible to hang everything up before work. Would definitely recommend- though be advised the transport bolts are properly tight, and it’s worth paying attention to the instrucitons on how to remove them with greater ease!
A fantastic machine, plenty of wash options from a quick 15 minute cycle, to baby steam clear, economical wash etc. Very quiet when in use, easy to use. All in all great machine for the price.
Very Happy with the machine
machine is lovely, ordered was ment to be delivered Aug 29th took day off work, waited all day, machine didn’t show. then had a notification that it would be delivered on the 4th of september. so I booked off the 4th of September with work just for me to get a notification on the 30th of August to say the machine was 4 stops away soni had to take half a day amd rush back to make the delivery. luckily I made it and the delivery guys were awesome helping me bring it up a flight of stairs into my home… love the machine great size smooth use just love it!! shame about the delivery situation or it would be a full starts from me
The delivery went well, but due to circumstances, we had to install the machine ourselves, but no fault of our delivery guys.
The machine is large, and just fits into the cavity!
The door is huge, and dark tinted, so if I want to see what’s going on, I have to use a torch! It is quiet, even the spin, but it still freaks out my dog, possibly because the floor is hollow.
The machine is ‘A’ rated, but most of the programmes except one, are over 2 hours long, one is nearly 4 hours!!!
Why?? Otherwise there is one prog for just 30 minutes, not long enough.
Unfortunately, I didn’t find out about the wash times until I opened the user info.
Excellent service and professional installatio
My partner and I have just moved into our new home and needed a washing machine. The machine itself is quiet, looks smart and is easy to use which would warrant a 5* by itself but what we were most impressed with was the installation service!
The 2 blokes that turned up were extremely professional, fast and knew exactly what they were doing. They ran us through what they were doing and why in a way that we could easily understand and did the first wash through. They made a potentially stressful install into a completely stress free morning
My daughter got this as a pre-owned / return? So she got this at a great price. She is a renter and my have to leave this behind if she has to move in a hurry so price was important. Also the actual performance and capacity for wash loads and drying loads is impressive. i used it daily in her flat as you know how teenagers have a tonne of clothes and are not usually into boring stuff like clothes mainenance, so I got very busy during my 12 day stay and used it daily on a “quick wash” then did the dry cycle which is mainly 3 hours. I thought it was long. In the north of UK, I’d recommend a washer dryer like this, great price even if buying from brand new. If you have not garden or line, then this is brilliant. We used quick wash with liquid bottle detergent, however at home I use eco eggs that are just as good and way cheaper. It is effective and quiet and looks ultra smart.

Very nice machine. The key thing is that the machine offers the features of typical mid to high end Western brands – but at a price point that’s much more reasonable. Makes me wonder what exactly we’re paying for with the more traditional brands as they’re produced in the same place as this machine anyway – China.
Pros:
– It’s well featured – I’ve got everything I need without things I don’t (like Wifi connectivity) – I can control temperature, spin cycles, set a custom delay, have access to all the programs I’d need, and the machine can be paused and the door unlocked + opened early in the cycle if you forget a sock, etc.
– It weighs the washing when running some of the cycles (like the Eco 40 to 60 cycle) – which minimises electricity and water consumption when underloading – and also shortens the wash time.
– It’s quiet – a few people mention that it’s extremely loud, which has not been my experience at all – I’d be surprised if that wasn’t because they’re forgotten to remove the four bolts holding the drum in place during shipping.
– It’s efficient. Doesn’t cost much to run in terms of water or electricity.
– The price is great. I got the 10 kg washer for 279. I’d expect to pay over 500 for a typical Western brand.
Cons:
– The machine lacks a boat / insert for the detergent drawer for liquid detergent so it just runs straight into the sump hose if you run the machine with a delay. However, this is easy to get around by putting a plastic wash ball containing the detergent in the drum on top of the washing. Strictly speaking this is meant to get better results than putting the detergent in the drawer anyway, although it won’t be compatible with using pre-wash.
– Documentation is not well written, with lots of English errors. The details for the different wash cycles are on a separate piece of paper which is easy to lose, and it’s really tough to find the PDF version of the sheet as it’s not on Hisense’s website as it should be.
– Spin performance isn’t as good as competitors. Towels, heavy cotton etc comes out damper than other machines I’ve used. Certainly not sodden or soaked, but certainly damper than I’d like. But one can run another spin cycle.
– Drum’s a little smaller than one would expect for 10 kg. I believe this is a bigger problem for the smaller drums, like 7 or 8 kg. Worth going for a bigger drum.
Can’t say anything for long-term reliability of course, but it looks like most of the parts internally are separate rather than some manufacturer’s approach of ‘everything is in in the drum assembly so you’re better off buying a new washing machine than repairing’ con.
If it was more expensive, it would be 4/5 stars. But for the price I bought it for, definitely 5/5.

Just fitted it myself easy to do very quiet and easy to use only first day will let anyone no if any problems but at the moment all good and very happy with the item and delivery and the service to take the old washing machine away thank you

At first I thought the wash times too long . . But the machine is thorough, you get a GOOD WASH.
Very quiet, silky smooth, well impressed ! Needs a decent manual that explains how to alter the wash settings, instead of assuming the customer is a whiz with gadjets.. I think I WILL get to know my machine .
AO were brillia
The machine is exactly as expected and highly recommended so far.
Unfortunately Amazon delivered a damaged unit a day later than expected and would not replace only refund.
To buy again would have cost an additional 50 which I wasn’t prepared to pay.
I purchased from AO in the end it cost more than Amazon but well worth paying the extra to have good service.

Great looking product works great, wash clean!!! Big drum so it can accommodate large washes! The technology of this product is smart. For e.g i connected this product and washed my first load at some point it gave me an error message i looked up the error code and it meant “the machine was for some reason not able to rid itself of te water in te drum” turns out my drain pipe had a stopper in it that wouldn’t let the water through.. once i removed that it worked like a dream!!!

Good washing machine, at first I thought my washing machine wasn’t spinning properly but it has safety features stopping it from spinning when load is too much or unbalanced to protect itself hopefully help it last longer, only took my bedding and some clothes to trigger it but working well at the moment I think.
I have never had such a lovely looking, quiet, smooth running machine. I love that I can choose the programme and temperature. Also it weighs the load. Brilliant. I payed for the installation, and also my old machine was took away with all the packaging . Lovely delivery team. Polite, quick , clean. Well worth the buy ( the machine not the lads)
So i thought i’d wait a couple of weeks to give this Hisense-WFQP9014EVM-Freestanding-9 KG-Front Load Washing Machine a review.
it turned up in pretty good time, i didn’t pay for the install as i’ve done loads of these but the first point to note is what incredible value on Amazon Prime – delivered for free – all other companies wanted 20 at least and the choice of delivery date wasn’t that good from the others either.
So i unwrapped it all, got it into is final position and gave it a short wash without clothes in as recommended.
Then i gave it a proper load! it took a lot of washing – its says 9kg but im not sure that this drum is as deep as my last machine and that was only a 7kg!
The different wash settings vary – i found the ‘dark wash’ the usual ‘shortest’ wash at just over an hour, or you can even go for a 3 hour cotton wash (does anyone even use that setting?) and various ‘steam wash’ wash settings and you can alter spin speeds and temps to suit – i do find that it needs an extra spin after using most of the settings however, which is a little annoying – my last was a Samsung so maybe they just have the edge on things like this.
it has also had the F01 fault come up randomly a couple of times (which is the fill fault alarm) the pipes aren’t blocked and i just hit the start button again and it started again, it also did it when i had the delay start on so it hadn’t done the wash by the time i got home so its a bit weird and one i will definitely be keeping an eye on.
All in all, for the price this appears to be an amazing machine – only time will tell on its longevity but we will have to wait and see on that one.
And its very quiet – for now!
Really like this machine. It’s so easy to use and the noise levels are way down compared to my old machine. Does a very good job at cleaning the clothes which is obviously its purpose. Can’t, at this time fault it. It also was very reasonable priced.
The washing machine itself works fast and quietly and does a really good job. I paid to have it installed and the old one taken away through Amazon and it went so smoothly. The guys who delivered it made the process so quick and easy and even cleaned up the floor as my 2 year was having a major tantrum when they arrived. Can’t recommend them enough!!
The main thing is, it dries clothes well without steaming up the house. Haven’t measured the electric consumption so I HOPE it’s using half as much as a normal condenser would.
On the downside, the water resevoir can get full without your becoming aware, so I have to keep a tally of the number of drying sessions to warn me to start checking the reservoir. Emptying it is not particularly difficult, it needs as much room in front of the dryer as the depth of the dryer, to pull out the very long reservoir and empty it into a bucket. So you have to position the dryer carefully if there is something in front of it as I have.
A warning light that came on when the reservoir was 80% full, would be a good idea.
Cleaning the lint filter is a bit tricky with this machine, they have two that nest inside each other like russian dolls. You have to pull the inner one out of the outer one in order to be able to reach the lint and clean it. Other dryers I’ve used have been far easier and quicker to de-lint.
Finally the issue with most heat pump dryers applies to this one, the condenser is a pig to clean, it’s a bit like the radiator on a car, the gills get jammed up with fluff and even though you can use a small brush to get the fluff off the top, you cant easily get the stuff out from between the gills. There must be a better word than gills for the very finely spaced metal plates that the water vapour condenses onto, depositing dust etc in the process? I find the time taken to clean that condenser would be enough to go outside and hang up all the washing, so in summer I imagine I would not be using the dryer much. just to avoid this.
No doubt someone is going to start doing home visits to clean heat pump condenser grills for a tidy sum.
By far the best washing machine I have ever owned, it works really well it’s very very quiet and it’s easy to install. I love the colour of the black door to the white body. Also a 15 mins wash is very handy as well, it’s also has a push and add feature if you forget a sock or a t shirt, you can add them mid cycle… It’s a Fab washing machine…bargin…
Bought this for my elderly mum. She found it easy to use and much quieter too. The digital controls are a bit confusing at first but I guess all new technology is at first. It has a nice big drum and large door opening for ease of use. Excellent value for people on a budget.
We’ve only just installed our machine, and removing the transport bolts was the trickiest slowest part. There are 4 bolts on the back of the maching holding the drum in place while the machine is in transit, and these MUST be removed. They are exceptionally tight, so we used a socket set rather than the small spanner thing that came with the machine. Note that you first have to loosen ALL 4 bolts so that they all protrude by 3cm. Only once they are all protruding can you push them all in to release them, and only then can the full transit bolt be pulled out (see photo). This was a lot harder to do than we envisaged, it does take some force.
Some reviews complain about noise or vibration, but I found the machine to be very quiet and well balanced, I’m guessing those with problems haven’t removed the bolts.
I purchased the 12kg load washing machine in December last year, so had it just over a month.
It’s straight forward to use and setup, A energy rating giving you cheaper electricity usage. It has great performance and in a whole would definitely recommend this machine.
There is a selection of wash cycles, the 20 degree one is pointless that’s a bit of a flaw.. doesn’t wash anything in this setting.
There is plenty other settings, different temp controls, spin controls and timings to suit each wash.
The dark wash in a 30 degree or 40 degree is 1 hour 40 minutes which is not too bad. I do how ever put each load on an extra spin after the wash cycle is done just to get the most excess water out as much as I can. This spin is only 10 minutes.
Great touch if forgotten to pop something in, just press pause and door opens.
However I can’t seem to find a child lock option on my machine, maybe I’m not seeing what’s infront of me I still have to work this out.
Price is amazing, and I hope the results continue for years to come
This is a simple review to write, as this tumble is so easy and straight forward to use and setup, plus it gives great performance (mostly, come onto that in a moment) that I would recommend this to anyone.
The machine tumbles standard clothes laundry excellently, always comes out dry without fail, the lint filter and water are easy to manage and it dries much faster than anticipated given it is a heat pump system. But there are two issues we have found with this machine:
Very small items, like a toddlers socks, often get caught at the front of the dryer over the lint filter, the result is the items get covered in lint themselves.
Washing large bed sheets will often result in dampness at the end of the preset tumble cycle. Especially if you have other smaller items in the dryer with them. We think this is because the sheets will essentially fold over themselves and other smaller items, and despite the tumble having a reverse tumble function, it never really unravels the sheets. What ever items and parts of the sheets end up in the middle are not dry by the end of the cycle, we suspect because the machines sensors can’t pick up the dampness. In future we have decided to run a timed cycle, rather than an auto one, and just learn what the appropriate timings are, we think this will resolve it.
Overall though, I think at this price the machine is a fantastic buy, and great value.
I am struggling to find a programme that is about 1 hr long/most of the programmes seem to be two hours or more and that worries me especially as it is sold as A rated I am using the dark wash which is 1hr 30min but this wont let me spin them at top speed

I think it’s probably amazing but it’s extremely complicated to figure out how to use, and didn’t come with an instruction book.
The delivery guys worked hard to get it through a tight gap and down some stairs so defo worth the extra
Very easy to use and set up. Definitely recommend at the amazing price it’s at right now, said would take 6 weeks to come, was here and set up within a week. Only downside is it’s quite loud with the spin and we panic thinking it’s going to break but I’ve heard worse. Definitely recommend

It’s loud
I bought this machine due to my other machine being loud, this tops it, it’s quiet while washing but when spins fast it bounces out of the cabinet hole, I don’t know how to stop that?
Easy to install and use
I was afraid to buy this washing machine because of the bad experiences mentioned in the reviews. I chose this appliance just because its width fit on the counter in the kitchen. Despite all my concerns, the washing machine meets all my expectations; it is really easy to use and also not very loud. We are happy with the washing machine.
There is nothing to dislike about the machine, it washes well, it doesn’t make any noise. I’ve never known a washing machine so quiet. It took just under 3hrs to wash and dry four bath towels, the machine stopped once the towels were dry and were ready to use. I would recommend it . The machine is made in Eastern Europe although it’s a Chinese company. Any spares you need are readily available on the company’s website which is in the UK.

i spent a while trying to find the perfect combination of spin and temperature, the wash time seemed long as soon as i pressed start to my relief the machine assessed the weight and lowered the wash time.

This machine doesn’t have much depth so great for small places. 15 inches depth is the size of the machine.
This drum is actually a 6/7 kg says the instructions so perhaps another 1kg extra value for money??Would suit 1 person maybe 2. Or even single parent with child. Has allergy functions for sensitive skin, self cleaning.

My house has a water filter installed. It’s one of those ball things that the housing association change. I use a tiny bit of detergent (liquid) and I can’t believe how efficient it is.
I’ll often add another spin at the end of a 15 or 20 minute eco wash before hanging out to dry due to the poor weather I’m drying by the windows.
You can extend the timer on the eco wash by adding more heat i.e 30 eco wash as an example.
Since most of my clothes are lightly soiled or just a bit sweaty I’ve only used the eco wash and a cotton wash.
I’m surprised that this machine comes with a 2 year warranty and for a cheap machine energy rating efficiency of C, which ain’t bad.

Great replaceme
So glad we got this. We needed a new washing machine after our old one finally gave up on life. It’s small and compact, sleek design, easy to use and pretty quiet. My only thing would be the load size. The drum itself is quite shallow, but it does wash clothes really well and quickly so can’t fault it. Maybe get the 9kg model if you have a lot of clothes too clean often.
I paid for the old washing machine to be taken away, and a new one to be installed, and given a demo this NEVER happened, the new machine was left in the package and NOT installed how do I get my 21 refund?

Happy that our previous non-branded washing machine expired the new Hisence is simple to operate and does the job, the VIN number you will find on your Amazon account which you will need to register the warranty online, as the delivery had no paper work if you already have installed the washing machine saves a whole lot of time pulling out the machine again to look for the VIN letters and number.
My machine has just been delivered and installed by Amazon delivery guys. Excellent – they were efficient, knew what they were doing and friendly. In no time my old unit was removed and my new one installed – this included having to thread the lines thru holes in my cupboards. And then the installer set it up to the 15 minute wash to show me and check that everything was working and water coming thru. Absolutely brilliant – a 5 star service.
In use – my new washing machine is quiet including the spin cycle. I love that the time is counted down and clearly displayed.
I am more than happy with this purchase. Worth every cent – including the installation cost.

Delivery great. But delivery crew didn’t mention that transport bolts have to be removed before using. If I didn’t know that could damage all machine . Those bolts looks like integral part of machine so be AWARE.
With them machine working like a tractor and vibrates out of control. Other thing is to set up leg bolts even so it’s not wobble on the flor. If you do that before your first wash then it’s quiet and smooth. For this price it’s great little washing machine. Manual could be better as it’s not mentioning about transport bolts. Great 20min program. Perfect for a couple or single person.
