Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersGreat for yoga replacement

I suffer from lower back pain and sciatica and I find this helps.

I don’t use it as much as I should.

There are 3 settings and i only use the lowest. You need to be incredibly supple to find the highest setting comfortable.

I recommend this product for anyone who has issues but also wants to remain flexible.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersMy friend recommended this stretch Mat, so I purchased one. Well! I love it, after a few days of using the mat my back pain has gone from strong to mildness and when I used to bend over the stiffness on straightening up has now gone. I also suffer with shoulder pain that too has greatly improved. There are three settings, I use the second as the third is too strong for me.

Excellent! Use every day, 7 minutes warm up and then either of the other settings. Great to keep you supple and limber.

Was recommended by a friend and love using this daily. It gently stretches your back, neck and hips and I have noticed real benefits feeling very supple once I get off it. Any problem areas have been eased with constant use I would highly recommend it and have sold 4 to friends already!

I love that it is easy to use and I feel that it does give your body a work out. Stores away easily and is quiet so you don’t feel like there is a loud machine in the room with you.

This is brilliant very easy to use. We both suffer from back pain since starting with this we have both become far more supple and less pain. Stores easily under units with legs.

I got this for Christmas. I have fibromyalgia and psoriatic arthritis. I suffer with pain in the hips, back and pelvis. This has been really helpful in relieving that pain almost instantly. I can’t recommend it enough. I have really struggled with pain over the last few days and got on the mat this morning and I feel less pained and not as stiff there is still pain as I have fibro but it is manageable pain. I am really pleased with the ma

My husband has had discectomy 30 years ago, was stiff and physio unable to make any improvement, he was in pain and had poor posture. After first session he stood up straighter than he had for years. The movement and flexibility this has given him has allowed him to get fitter than he’s been for years. This gave him confidence that he could move without harming himself and stretched him so that he was better able to maintain a more normal posture.
I found it helps when I have been seated at work -it’s released general aches and stretches back and neck at the end of the day.
    Highly recommend.

My family bought this as birthday present and apart from difficulty of actually getting hold of are very pleased.
My wife says it is wonderful and just what she was expecting, so is most pleased.
Once I had managed to order came promptly and well packed.
The only thing I would suggest if you want one is to sign up for email alert when available and order straight away when you receive; this item seems very popular and had sold out again by the time I had finished order.
We’ll pleased when finally managed to order though.

The wife has constant back issues, this was a Christmas gift I didnt have great hopes for, but worth a stocking filler. To our surprise it has helped greatly. I dont see her running a marathon any time, but between osteo appointments it helps keep mobility and reduce pain. 5 stars

It’s very relaxing to use this mat, it’s almost like a massage mat but not quite. It is good for stretching your neck and back, I mean ofcourse you can do your stretch yourself but mat’s doing it for you adds more relaxation to your session. So far I am happy with this purchase.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI received the product fairly quickly, and well packaged up. I’ve been using this for a few weeks now and I have to say I am starting to notice an improvement in my back pain. I’ve also seen an improvement in my mobility as well. This devise isn’t a miracle cure but it really has made a difference and I will continue to use.

Can recommend this product if you like exercise and massage as it gives an experience which offers a combination of the two. Takes a little getting used to, I suggest using the energising sequence first, then the short shoulder workout at the lowest setting which has to be chosen as it is set to start with the middle intensity. Used it alternate days initially then increased to daily and it definitely helped my back relax and posture has improved accordingly. Areas of the mat expand and collapse – the collapse is a bit of a shock until you get accustomed. Good mindfulness practice if you just feel into those areas as it happens – brings you into the present moment. (Not recommended for those with sensory deficiencies in lower body – info in leaflet.) I am a qualified exercise teacher and health practitioner.

After suffering with lower back pain this mat has really helped me. It’s very quick and easy to set up and put it away. I chose this model because I can use it on my bed as getting down to and up from the floor is a struggle as I am awaiting a hip replacement. I find I can comfortably cope with the twisting action with a slight adjustment of my affected hip during that particular movement. The air noise can initially be an issue, but after a few weeks of use I’m not really aware of it any longer.

I bought this as I can’t really do a lot of physical movement in some muscle groups so it was handy for gentle movements. Would have liked the possibility of increasing stretch more but with this model you are limited to 3 strength settings.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersNot had this all that long just a few weeks but I have found it beneficial for my back it hasn’t been as bad as usual so I am hoping with more continued use will prove to be even better. It’s very easy to use and really does stretch the back both lower and upper. I have tried all the 4 features and I love them all.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersArrived with badly torn box, very unhappy with this as it was a gift and too late to send it back. So far the product has worked well, although some rotation massage was expected. The gift was for a 59 year old man who does very physical work and suffers with back stiffness. He has found it very relaxing to use and so the 3 settings to increase the intensity works well for him, currently using it on 1st setting due to limited flexibility. If you are very flexible you may find it has less impact as its setting 3 may not be enough to meet your flexibility and so I would then recommend it to be more to help with relaxation. unable to comment on pain releif as he has not used it long enough. If you struggle with other physio methods such as rollers that require a lot core strength to use and can be too solid to use for some people causing too much pain, I would definitely recommend this mat as a starting point to help become more flexible.

Great if you need support to work on spine flexibility!

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersIt takes a while to get used to the strange sensation and the deflation sounds but I’d recommend this for anyone needing to have a good relaxing back stretch.

We have been using this every couple of days and can feel a difference in our backs.

Expensive but the quality and effectiveness of Homedics products in general is worth the extra cos

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI fractured my base lumber vertebrate when I was 16, I recovered to play sport at the highest level, now I’m 48, playing lots of golf and always have a tight lower back and tight hamstrings which I attribute to my injury all those years ago.

I bought this opting for a yoga workout rather than a hot tub to ease stiffness before playing golf, I now have half an hour every morning and feel ten years younger – its heaven.

If your in two minds, like I was, don’t be, this works !

It does give you feel more flexible and you can feel it working when in use. Do not have back pain but due to sleeping funny one night, I could not straighten my back. Got up in the middle of the night and used it, due to being uncomfortable and used it again the following day. Back was back to normal and no pain.

Golden Review Award: 13 From Our UsersDespite my relatively low rating I actually really like this product the problem I have with it is that being a relatively fit and healthy 46 yr old I only really use one program and I’ve only ever used the hardest setting. That said spending some time on it always leaves me feeling like I’ve had a nice stretch and a couple of the phases really do give a powerful stretch. It’s expensive but is nicely made so if it lasts it will prove good value. I would recommend this to anyone who has real mobility restrictions and in fairness even if you dont providing you can justify the cost. The ability to pause the programme would be a great idea if only the mat stayed inflated where you pause it you could really stretch tight areas but sadly it deflates.

I really like this yoga mat as it gives me some extra padding to support my bad back. Only downside is that my yoga teacher has said that as it has extra padding it can cause you to slip when balancing, so I probably should have bought a thinner mat which I will do.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI purchased the mate as a present for my wife who as suffered with back pain for many years. After just a few days use she said that it has helped relieve the pain and she could now bend down better than she as been able to do for a long time. She now uses the mate daily and said it as helped her very much.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersAs an aging cyclist I purchased the yoga mat to help with my flexibility and to use as a relaxation tool after long cold weather rides. Within the first few weeks that I have been using the mat every day finding my flexibility improved each time and helping me relax fully & sleep much better when used. Really pleased with the yoga mat, looking forward to continued use and health benefits.

Golden Review Award: 16 From Our UsersI was very sceptical about this but my husband wanted to buy it for me for Christmas.
In fact it was a lovely present. I have rheumatism in all of my joints and it is lovely to come home and lie on this mat for half an hour after work.
I’m not sure that it is going to have a huge impact on my condition, but the fact that I am lying flat and stretching on a regular basis has to be good.
They call the mat ‘yoga inspired’ and I guess I can see why, it’s no substitute for a good gentle yoga class but it’s a nice addition to your weekly routine.
It’s stores nicely behind the sofa.
It’s a little noisy and the cat isn’t keen on it.
All in all if you want a life-changer, this probably isn’t for you, but if you fancy something that is relaxing and quite nice and will encourage you to take time out and stretch them you’ll be happy with this.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersI bought this during Black Friday, so was only 150, worth that but not full price (over 200). I have two herniated bulging discs L4/5 and L5/S1. The mat seems to be designed for someone who is over 6ft tall, so it is necessary for me to adjust my position depending on the programme I select. That being said I found it easy to use and it works for me. I avoid the twisting programme but the other 3 are okay even at the max intensity.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersHave had back problems for over 30 years, tried everything, physio, tens machine, pilates, back brace, nothing seemed to work. Have only had yoga mat a couple of days but almost instantly felt the benefit and some relief in my back. Just wish I’d invested in this earlier!

I was recommended this by my parents, it’s helped my back no end.. you can definitely feel the stretching, which is sometimes a tiny bit uncomfortable but worth it. I could hardly bend over most days until I used this, now I’m mostly pain free..if I feel a twinge I get straight back on the mat.

Golden Review Award: 11 From Our UsersI make myself use this once or twice a day. I’ve had for 2 months and it has helped my sciatica greatly. I’ve had in both legs severe. I’ve got prolasped discs l4 and l5 and spinal stenosis (narrowing). This is the best thing I’ve had for sciatica, I’ve tried everything! And spent a fortune and had surgery. I use mostly the flow and energize routines. Sometimes I use the stretch and I curl up a ball with the top and bottom raise. I now find this as a essential part of my day.

I brought this one for my pregnant wife. After we show the manual to the midwife, we decided to keep it rather than returning it. My wife’s midwife said, she can use it in the lowest model ans should stop using it once feel any uncomfortable. My wife tried several times, and feels good.

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersWhile you can’t replace regular stretching as a routine there will be people, like me, who may need encouragement or support of the body due to muscular weakness. I have a neuromuscular condition and found I could use this mat especially on flow. You will need assistance to get you on and off it if you have that issue but once you’re on the mat it does take over and you just need to relax and go with the flow for fifteen minutes. It works for me but everyone’s different.

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersI started to get an achy weaker back so bought this. Although I do cardio exercise, I had neglected yoga and Pilates for some time. So decided to get this. I’ve gone back to Pilates and used this mat and my back is getting stronger. If you don’t want to do the moves yourself, then this is perfect. Just lay there relax and it does it for you. I come off feeling rejuvenated and relaxed. Could pop on some soft music and low lighting. Start on lower settings, then build up to the higher ones if you have back problems. Or have your knees bent. Higher ones are quite intense.

Golden Review Award: 15 From Our UsersQuite an odd sensation but it does what it says. Very useful after a session of the rowing machine. It could do with more information though, it describes how to operate the mat and briefly what the different programmes are, but not really how long you should stay on each level or if you should only use one programme or all of them.
