Great buy
Very happy with my purchase but… not being tech minded it took me a while to set up, I eventually got it sorted out.
Why can’t everything be added be fore use?
Amazing budget lap top
I was amazed at the quality and speed of this device. Would highly recommend. The downside is that it sort of steers you towards McAffee anti virus which I don’t like. Did manage to download Norton and load but with some difficulty.
This is a good computer used for both work and schoolwork and also for basic gaming by teen. No problems and would buy again.

I bought this as a replacement for a 10 year old laptop that had become very slow. I only need it as a temporary back up to my main desktop, as well as for use for limited purposes when on the move. I don’t need it for gaming.
So far, it is fulfilling this function very well. It set up very quickly and easily, and I was able to automatically load up items from my Microsoft account, including all my favourites.
The picture is very clear.
A couple of slight downsides that I have noticed so far. The 2 USB ports are located very close to the mains power input, which makes it slightly awkward to insert a USB cartridge. And it took quite a long time (15 minutes) to download the software for Skype (despite my fast wifi connection).
Contrary to an answer in the questions, it does not have a CD-ROM drive.
So for my somewhat limited needs, this is a good purchase at a good price, and with a decent sized screen.
Better quality product than my Lenovo laptop, although it runs a little to slow. The price at 470.00 was good and it should be several years before it needs maintenance, unlike my Lenovo which has had to be repaired several times since I purchased it 2 years ago.

Liked: you could spend a lot more for similar or only slightly better. Has the look and feel or a premium product. Virtual steady-state drive makes booting up really quick. Fast response and plenty of storage. Would buy again.
Dislike: doesn’t come with much software but downloaded MS fine.
I bought this laptop for my son, he needed just the basics with a good storage. Perfect size screen and an attractive look. Very pleased. Good buy!
Good everyday laptop
Easy to setup, good quality. Not a gaming laptop but that was not the intentio
I bought this laptop last month, mainly for my child who has just started secondary school, to use for his homework. He has been using it for over a month to browse the web and also to play some older pc games. The laptop runs older games fine, but isn’t a gaming laptop and I wouldn’t recommend it for any graphic intensive games. He has being using the online school homework platforms, since schools started this month and the platforms have been running fine the laptop, he also uses it for You Tube etc. I would recommend this laptop for anyone wanting a decent laptop for general use, such as MS office, web browsing, school work etc. I’m happy with this purchase and I feel it’s reasonable value for money.

This laptop is very different to what I was accustomed to .
But very easy Installation.
No problems at present.

I found that the keypad was very user friendly and the only drawback was that the keyboard doesn’t light up which makes it very difficult for carrying out tasks.
As expected from HP. This is now the fourth HP product I have purchased and as always, everything is as expected. The spec on this model is just right for my 80yr old mum who is savvy enough to spec up what she wanted, so she is well happy.
