Easy to install the camera and to configure it to the wireless router. The ieGeek app is also very easy to navigate. The camera access can be shared with more than one user so we both have the app on our phones to view through the camera or to control it. The area of sight is broader than we thought it would be which is good and you can configure a smaller detection area if preferred.

These are a very good camera. There is a long battery life and when the unit needs to be charged it is very easy to screw off and plug in the USB C charge cable. Seems to last well over a month before the battery needs to be topped up. There’s a nice little APP to remotely connect and review footage if you have a memory card installed. I would recommend and I’m now looking to buy another one.

I bought this as someone has been damaging my car.
It was easy to set up and install.
The app guided me through all the steps.
It is easy to remove the camera from the bracket to recharge.
Crystal clear picture, and with an SD card, you can see historic motion on your app.
    It has an alarm function.
You can use the speaker and talk.
I am very pleased with this camera, much better than I imagined.
Good value for money and good customer support.

Not gonna lie, seing this camera at below 100 with a long list of specs…didn’t think it will be any good but surprisingly it surpassed all my expectations: great build quality, good video quality, POWERFUL floodlight with good motion sensor detection and the app actually works!! I threw in a 128GB card and it’s running smoothly, absolutely no issues with it.
Bought one just for testing but I will buy 2 more to cover the entire surrounding area of my house. Highly recommend it!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great specs for a small price

For the price quite a well made piece of kit. The mount provided has a good range of movement so easy to fit. The little instruction book provided only supplies connection instructions so you are on your own sorting out what all the different settings do. Trial and error. Picture quality is quite good in daylight but not so good with fading light, but then it doesn’t pretend to be infra red or anything. All in all quite satisfied

I was a bit dubious about buying this as we were looking for a battery-driven camera, but after following the easy-to-set-up instructions, I was very pleasantly surprised. It does what it says on the box and provided you just let it do its job, the drain on the battery is less than what I thought.
Would highly recommend this for ease of setup and operational value. Would be good though if it came with an SD Card which I bought separately. Great Job guys

I am really pleased with this camera so far. The picture quality is excellent, as well as the audio. Set up was easy including solar panel.
I am slightly disappointed with the range of the motion detection (although I’ve probably mounted it a bit too high), but I cannot fault how quickly it detects in range and the recording capabilities.
    Recommended, would buy again.

Just installed the camera. Payed for the monthly cloud so that I can get notifications and video saved.

So far, I’m only getting notifications on nearby movements like 3-4m. Its not catching anything beyond or vehicles passing our drive.

If I watch live, yes I can see further but the issue so far is that its not catching further movements but just nearbys.

    Please I need help.

    Edited review after few weeks..

    Now giving it a 5star.

Played up with the settings and its given me exactly as I was hoping for.

    Strongly recommended.

The camera was ever so easy to set up. As was the app. Literally plug in and go. The footage is just right day and night and the motion detector is spot on. I signed up for a years iCloud which is good value especially when you consider the cost of the camera so overall low cost security. The battery life is incredible and easy to recharge with no batteries required. IeGeek have also contacted me offering a free 2 year product warranty so that’s confidence in a camera which works outside in the elements. So it’s 5 star from me.

This camera was very easy to install and set-up with the app. I’d say within 4-6 mins of opening the box i had the camera hooked up to my wi-fi and the app on my phone. The nightvision is brilliant, as the location i have my cam set-up is pitch black at night and it can see everything!. It has a Siren feature (which can be turned on or off), a speaker which you can talk through and a microphone which can pick up sound at a fair distance. Even a small light which can also be controlled and set through the app!.

Tested the motion sensors and picks up any human movement in detection area, if i turn the sensitivity up to 9 or above it also picks up my dog. It doesnt go off if my bushes wave about in the wind so it’s perfect really. Very happy with it and gives me piece of mind. 10/10

This is an excellent security camera especially for the price.

Had cameras in the past that are constantly activated on windy days, this only activates when it detects a person walking past. Makes it so much easier when you don’t have to scroll through false alarms.

Light activates at night and you can even set an alatmrm to sound.

Brilliant product and very happy with my purchase. Will buy more as needed.

I have two of these, simple set up, good quality cameras, detecting movement from people seems really reliable and had no false alarms from my pets. So the animal vs human detection seems far better then compared to other home camera systems . Only had working a short time so can’t comment on battery life yet. The free 6s cloud storage is nice back up to local storage but the free cloud storage did not come with my first camera purchase which seems odd.

We were trying to decide on a camera for a while and went for this one. Manage To get it when it was on sale too. Absolute bargain for that it is! It’s such a great value for money and easy to set up. Works brilliant and so easy to connect to your phone. Definitely recommend this if you need a good security camera.

We’ve only had this camera for a week, but for our purposes, there is a lot to like. We have a corner of the garden that is an active bird spot, but is hard to watch from the house. We bought an ieGeek ZS-GX3S to monitor the birds because of the favourable reviews and because it appeared to have all of the features we wanted. We were not disappointed.

The camera is easy to set-up via the iGeek App and there is a good deal of control over features you may or may not want. We were not interested in the night vision nor motion detection options initially, so just had a quick play with those. They seem to work fine. The unit is water proof to a high level (soon tested) and has an embedded rechargeable battery that we found appealing.

You can take pictures and videos easily.

Picture quality, particular via the QHD setting is good. I found my phone screen was not large enough to see the detail we wanted, but followed on line instructions to get the ieGeek app running on Windows via the BlueStacks Android emulator. That gives full screen displays on our monitor with a reasonable frame rate. A 75% wi-fi connection is recommended, but our camera appears to work reliably with a 60% connection from the back of the garden.

Early days yet, but so far we are very happy with the camera – it does also look like it would be an excellent security camera if we need one!

Item arrived in time. Very easy to install and share with other family members. Fantastic clear images, day and night. Can highly recommend.
One of thing. I set a long and loud tone as the alert but it seems the app updated and added a call and alarm setting which defaulted to my general short and low tone so I then had to add the longer alert tone to the new settings.

Had this camera for just over a week now and so far it has been great. I use it mainly after dark to protect my motorbike as I have had two attempts of theft on it. I like the way you can put the siren on so when it detects someone going near my bike it activates and is very very loud so will deter a thief which is what I want it for. So if you want a cheap camera that does a great job then I highly recommend this

The outdoor security camera I tested is wireless and battery-charged, making installation a breeze without the need for complicated wiring. The camera’s video quality is impressive, capturing clear images during the day and using night vision for decent performance in low-light conditions. The motion detection feature worked well, alerting me promptly to any activity in its field of view. Additionally, the camera’s app allowed for convenient remote monitoring and easy access to recorded footage. However, it’s essential to keep an eye on battery life, as it may require periodic recharging, depending on usage. Overall, it’s a reliable option for those seeking a hassle-free outdoor security solutio

Bought this security camera and have to say it is extremely good for the money. I bought a sd card for it as I’m undecided as yet wether to buy cloud for the storage I know it’s only 2.99 but it all adds up. I had it installed today and have to say the picture is very clear. Would strongly recommend this camera excellent value for money and gives you peace of mind.

I was looking for a security camera to monitor the front of my house and the ieGeek range of camera’s have had some good reviews so I settled on the ZS-GX3S model, no wiring needed as it has a built in rechargeable battery so every couple of months just take down and charge it up again.
The set up was straight forward and easy to understand, app downloaded, wi fi connected and all working in 20 minutes or so.
It’s working perfectly and the picture quality is excellent.
You can add more cameras to the app if required which I’ll do in the future. All in all it’s a great little camera at a great price, what are you waiting for? Get it ordered.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI bought these cameras to replace my Blink cameras, as I was frustrated with them have needing a subscription in order to record Live viewings, plus there as a noticeable lag from the time

The ieGeek ZS-GX3S is fully wireless, and a nice sturdy unit. I bought 2, one for the front and back of the house. They are easy to set-up via a QR code and the mobile App, and easy to install with just 3 screws. The camera unit itself can be screwed on and off the mounting, so just remember this when installing, to make sure its out of reach, but not really an issue.

The images from the camera are excellent, and the detection on it is very good, not a huge amount of lag from the time it detects motion and starts recording. The camera also has a light and an alarm. You can customise the detection settings sensitivity, and if you want the Alarm to sound or not, and can set-up schedules to automatically turn on and off the camera detection by days in week and time which is excellent.

I especially like the Live camera tile view, where you can get a live view of all cameras in one screen so you can do a quick check on everything, in one screen, when not at home, without having to look at each camera individually.

Only had the cameras a couple of weeks, but so far I’m pretty impressed with them and very happy. So much so I intend to buy 2 more to cover either side of the house.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersOn opening the security camera it was smaller than I was expecting which was good because it is visible without being a big lump mounted on the wall, it has a small blue light which you can have on or off which lets people know it’s working and not a dummy camera , being a wireless camera it took 5 minutes to secure it to the wall with the screws and plugs provided and about 15 mins to upload the app and connect to the camera, picture quality is good and it has 2 way audio so can be used as an intercom, motion detection is good but mine missed sometimes because I fitted it in the wrong place, doh, should have read instruction booklet. Alerts come through to your phone quick and on a night time if someone walks past and is detected the light comes on and the night time records in colour, plus people know it’s working. The feature I like most is on a night you can set a timer so if motion is detected it will activate the light and siren together, or you can leave it off and when you get an alert on your phone and you look at it you can activate the light and siren from your phone which is great if you see someone messing with your car or front door, this records directly onto a sd card or you can pay for a cloud subscription, 1st week comes free with camera anyway, battery life, at the moment it’s been up a couple of weeks and we like the camera and we are always looking at all the alerts which uses the battery more also I extended the run time on recording so that uses more battery as well , we bought it with the solar panel which is not yet fitted as I am going to move the camera to a better position ( as in instruction booklet ) but overall we are pleased with our purchase and other users have said they get good response from I geek if things go wrong. Quality product.

I bought these for the front and back of my house. They were really simple to set up and install. It only took 10min to put below the upstairs window and this means that they’re too high up for people to reach but allows me to access them easily for charging. The app is simple to use with lots of different features, it’s very easy to install on your phone using the QR code. The images and video footage is clear even in night mode and the sound is great. They have given me peace of mind and made me feel safe. I have recommended these to a few friends and family members. Great value for money

  25. LillianSloan says:

Very impressed with this security camera, it is good that is wireless, so no drilling holes and feeding through wires. It has a long battery life, that lasts up to 6 months, and probably can extend that further if you don’t always have motion detection on etc. I managed to install the camera on the wall in 20 minutes, and setup the app and figured out most of the features within an hour. I have ordered a 128GB micro SD as the camera does not come with one, but also I opted for the monthly Cloud storage which only costs a couple of s, not a bad deal. So if the WiFi for some reason goes down, then the camera will save images video on the micro SD.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersI bought this a couple of weeks ago to protect my back garden as it’s got a lot of garden furniture in it and I’ve had some stolen in the past! At first i bought the camera but with the dogs and grandkids and us in and out the battery ran out pretty quickly! So i purchased the solar panel and it’s fantastic now! It’s at 100% all the time and no more climbing on the ladder to unscrew and charge up! The picture is first class and on a night if it’s set off it changes to colour,or you can set it to colour but it uses more power! It’s got a strobe light and siren which you can activate in the app(which is really good) or set it to go off when it sees someone but it is loud and might upset your neighbours ! You can also subscribe for 2.50p a month for a lot more things to access like 30 seconds recording instead of 10 but it’s good without that! To my surprise it even works on my 4G when out and about or indoors of your Wi-Fi is down! I’ve also put a 32gb micro memory card in the camera just in case I need and catch something! For the price these Igeek cameras are great value for money and would definitely recommend them! Oh and you can also zoom im close by pinching your phone or iPad !

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersI am extremely pleased with these cameras, and how easy they are to set up. Although I’m not an absolute novice when it comes to techy things, I am of the age where if things don’t go right and my grown up kids aren’t available to help (how do all younger people know intrinsically how tech stuff works???!) I can get a bit irritated. The set up assistance, via the app, is extremely easy to follow and meant I had a camera up and running within half an hour – after fully charging – but it did highlight my poor wifi signal, which limited where I could position the camera. I remedied this by installing a mesh system of 3 nodes to extend the wifi reach, and I am going to reposition the 1st camera and install the 2nd elsewhere on our property. This was not a fault of the camera, indeed it was great because the camera and app were easily able to highlight the best position (wifi coverage) and get the first camera running.

The app which you download to use the cameras is good, and being able to save the videos to the cloud is great. It is a paid for service but it is excellent value to know that even if the camera is stolen, the images are safe. Although if you put a memory card in and download images frequently you might not feel this is necessary.
The main drawback of the app is that it would be useful to have links to the various “Help” suggestions embedded in the answers – rather than saying, for example, “Check that all motion detection settings are enabled in the app.” it would be helpful for that to link to the place where you can do that.

Overall I am very pleased with the cameras. So pleased that I’ve bought a doorbell camera to complete my set-up, so I can move both cameras out to cover a wider area of our house. Living in the countryside used to be pretty safe but unfortunately rural thefts are rising and thankfully these cameras are both affordable and effective.

I heartily receommend these cameras and this company.

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersMy son helped me install this. We mounted it on one of the corner stones looking down on the front door, and also taking in our driveway.
It was a ten minute job from start to finish. My son held it in place while I checked the angle on my phone. Once the angle looked good, he secured it to the wall using the supplied screws.
The phone app is super, super easy to install. The User Guide has one of the Q Code boxes with squiggly lines that you hover the phone over, and you just press OK a few times.
The app is very clear to use. No crazy sub menus. You can adjust the level of notifications that you receive. I found that the midpoint (5) worked best for me.
You can manually activate the camera, and it gives you a very clear live feed. With audio, which is also very clear. It is also very clear at night, and it has an LED light that comes on at night when the camera is activated.
Additionally, it records a few seconds any time that it is automatically activated. To the cloud, or onto a micro SD card that you can purchase separately. I bought a 128GB card on Amazon for about 16. This will store A LOT of video.
The camera is battery powered. I haven’t had the camera long so I don’t know for sure how long it lasts. The manual says roughly six months, and I see no reason why that would not be possible. The app keeps on eye on the battery level for you, much like your phone does for its internal battery.
All in all, I am very pleased with the camera. It comes in black or white. I went with white because our house is a light colour, and I didn’t want the first thing that the camera recorded to be me ringing the doorbell and pleading with my wife to let me in. 🙂
It’s a great little security camera. Great peace of mind. And it’s priced very reasonably.
I would recommend this camera to anybody who is looking for a waterproof security, with very clear picture quality, together with cloud and SD card storage.

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersAfter someone had tampered with our front garden during the night we decided we needed a camera to monitor the area. I did some research and was surprised how far security cameras have advanced since we installed our older style unit at the rear of our home. This little gem – the “ieGeek 2K Wireless Security Camera” had very good reviews and seemed to fit our needs, so we made a purchase (along with a micro SD card, purchased seperately).

When the camera arrived (nicely packaged and robust in quality) I wasn’t really sure what to expect – but – wow – this little camera is packed with quality and so many features. It works perfectly, straight out of the box. We spent a few days familiarising ourselves with all the different settings available and found that the preset original settings were just about perfect for our needs. There is a subscription service you can pay for (for very little money) on a monthly basis if you want even more from your camera – something I may well consider because it makes this camera even more adaptable and useful.

Now, after installation (which took about 2 minutes) we know when anyone approaches the house at any time of day or night. The night light function is bright and the night vision quality is good when close to the camera (further away gets a bit muddy but the PIR still picks up movement). I really like that we can manage the whole camera and various video clips via our phones and delete those that aren’t anything to worry about. We can check in “live” at anytime from anywhere and the battery life is very good (charging is easy too!)

Personally, I think this little camera is excellent value for money! It’s not a super high end surveillance unit but it is a very good home use monitoring system which could have many different uses in different locations – I might even buy another to replace our old style unit at the back of our house.

Well made unit, user friendly, hassle free intuitive instructions/functions and great performance = perfect!

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent security camera at a great price!

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersI held off on writing a review for a short while so that I was able to give a more balanced and honest review. Now that we’ve had the camera for a couple of weeks, I can be confident in saying this camera is fantastic! It’s everything we were looking for at a very affordable price.

It took some time to get the settings exactly how we wanted it (for example by default, the camera won’t alert for cars/animals but you can change this, along with the length of time it records for after each alert etc etc). We live in a busy area with cars and dog walkers frequently going by, but despite this I’ve only just had to charge the camera some three weeks after installation!

The video quality is absolutely clear, night or day. We have turned the alarm off (as previously mentioned, there are frequent alerts), but the light that triggers at nighttime still activates and is sufficiently bright to illuminate our front door and the surrounding area.

The WiFi connection is strong even though our router is placed a couple of rooms away from the camera and I haven’t noticed any drops in connection or missing recordings.

The app is user friendly, although the settings menu can be quite cumbersome to navigate. You can add a second (or more) user so other people in your household can access footage.

All in all, given the price and quality, I would absolutely recommend this item. In truth, I’ll probably buy another myself!

I replaced an old security camera with this ie Geek model. It was easy to set up and provides excellent coverage of my patio with clear pictures day and night thanks to night vision. It also has a movement alarm / siren and spotlight which can be turned off if required. One essential feature is battery life which is excellent and can be boosted with a solar panel although it should last for three months so this isn’t strictly necessary. I would recommend it to any prospective buyers.

We have a problem with youths banging on our windows and doors. So we invested in this camera and share our experience so far. It’s well made. The app and functionality are straightforward. Set up is easy. Initally we were watching the camera live whilst watching tv on an evening. On the first night I got film of a group approaching our front door, seeing the camera and walking off having changed their mind about disturbing our evening. Doing that live streaming for a few hours at a time did eat the battery life and had to be recharged every 48 hours. Taking the camera down to charge is a bit inconvenient but it is placed where I can run a lead to it and leave in situ. A solar panel could solve the problem too. I have set the app to capture single images of any movement and the battery is lasting much longer. It does not always capture movement but I guess it works 90 percent of the time. Daylight images are clear but in the street light, movement can be blurred so would be no good for detailed face recognition for instance. It is very easy to review captured images and either delete or keep on a daily basis depending on what you see. Overall I am really pleased and it seems to working as a deterrent so thank you ieGeek.

I purchased this camera becuse of an increase of cold callers at the door trying to sell things. The camera is excellent as it gives an instant alert when peole call, and enables me to decide if and when I want to open the front door. I can also talk to people very clearly through the app on my phone from wherever I am located. This also helps when checking deliveries. Not hugely expensive, but a really good piece of kit which was easy to install.

I wanted a product that was easy to fit, easy to set up, had no wires and didn’t require a subscription to some third party provider who would monitor the alarm for me. This camera does all that and Im really pleased with the purchase. I have one in the garden and one at the front of the house and i had them up and running in a couple of hours. The app is really easy to use and when i had a query about one of the settings, the Customer Service Team was back to me really quickly. Great product for the price and I’m recommending them to all my friends.

It was easy enough to connect to Wi-Fi, I then tested out the camera in different positions, overlooking my heating oil tank in garden. The camera is about 10 metres away from Wi-Fi router inside my house and signal good enough. Does not trigger when my cat walks passed but I get an alert on the app for my movement when I go and check oil level for fuel tank. Clear picture also

So far so good. Purchase camera week ago and it seems to be good choice. Both colour and black and white night vision is great. Just farther area is slightly over bright which I believe chan be adjusted in future update but it’s nothing serious. Battery life is amazing so you don’t have to deal with wiring. Notification alert is very fast which I was looking for and also slot for SD memory card so completely cloud free. I will be definitively in the future buying one more for my garden 🙂

    So far so good

I’ve recently purchased a portable rechargeable iGeek security camera, I can honestly say I’m very impressed with the picture quality, especially the night vision where you can switch the built in security light on to make the night vision colour. I would definitely recommend this portable wireless camera. The battery charge lasts quite a long time too.

It’s a great camera great picture the only thing I will.say is if you live on a busy street like I do full of walkers dog walkers all day till 9 at night get a solar panel because the battery only lasts for a couple weeks before you will need to take it down to charge it again apart from that brilliant value for money works perfectly

This wireless camera with night vision is a must-have for anyone looking for a reliable and high-quality surveillance solution. The setup process is easy and the camera connects to your Wi-Fi network seamlessly. The picture quality is excellent, even in low light conditions, thanks to the night vision feature. The motion detection alerts are accurate, and the two-way audio function allows you to communicate through the camera. The mobile app is user-friendly and provides easy access to all the camera’s features. Overall, this camera provides excellent value for its price and I highly recommend it.

Very happy with this camera. I would strongly consider buying another one to cover a different angle on the house.

I purchased it to use as an outdoor security camera for my house.
Installation was incredibly easy. The step by step instructions to setup the camera are very clear and the camera was ready to go in less than 5 minutes. Add 5 more minutes to install it outdoors. Completely wireless as promised, and the WIFI connection is strong. The camera feels well built and sturdy.

The associated phone app gives you a good amount of control over the settings of what should or shouldn’t be recorded. You can specify certain areas of the camera to not trigger the motion sensor, set alert time ranges, and have multiple recording options with regard to video length and image type.
I forgot to purchase an SD card at the same time, but the app has a cloud storage option, so I could use that until I had a chance to add an SD card. Which was a very useful extra option. I can also check in live at any time.

All in all, I’m happy I spent the money to have the peace of mind knowing I can watch over my house with this little device.

I already have 2 ieGeek powered cameras and decided to add a 3rd in an area where I’m unable to add power.

Just like the previous cameras, it was very easy to setup and install (once I added the SD card) and the battery is lasting well after giving it a full charge before mounting to the wall.

I bought a solar charger to keep it topped up (when the sun shines), so hoping I won’t have to connect a power cable anyday soon 🙂

The other cameras use 3rd party app, but this one now uses the new ieGeek app, which made setting up so much easier.

Not subscribed to the cloud service yet, but it’s not too expensive and will give extra peace of mind, so will look to do that in the near future.

Only thing I miss, compared the other cameras, is ability to send detections to FTP (my NAS drive).

The night vision on this camera is a lot better than the older cameras that I have.

Highly recommend if you are looking to add a battery powered camera.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersMy first impression after unboxing was how small and solidly made the device is. Very neat.
The connection to Wi-Fi is clearly explained in the well written manual and simple to do. While the device was on charge, I downloaded the APP using the QR code and noted the SSID and password of my 2.4GHz Wi-Fi router.
The APP also takes you step by step through the quick setup and minutes, I was seeing the camera view on my phone screen.
I was amazed how well thought out the product is, when I explored the range of settings available in the APP. I tried to imagine the different ways this device might be used and provided you follow the guidance in the manual, you won’t be disappointed.
One use I have for the camera is my back yard. There is no Wi-Fi there. The solution is to use a mains-plug type Wi-Fi extender to my existing power supply in the yard.
Note, when out of your Wi-Fi range, you can still manage the camera using your phone data. The switch is automatic if that is how you set your phone. It will consume your data allowance.
Because the audio worked so well, it can also be 2-way, the small size of the device made it unobtrusive, making it a great spy camera or baby monitor. There is a delay between the sound, and it being heard of about a second. It would be longer with a weak Wi-Fi signal. The delay prevents the howl of acoustic feedback. It becomes an echo.
Because of the wide-angle lens, there is excellent visual coverage in the clear, sharp picture. Some barrel distortion is to be expected in the image. The camera copes faultlessly with the range of daylight to dusk lighting. Of course, there is a built-in light for complete darkness, and you can switch to black and white from colour for increased image clarity. I couldn’t find any timer setting that would make the switch for you.
An interesting feature that I haven’t seen with other cameras is the Artificial Intelligence filtering you can choose to switch on in settings, so only humans are detected. Anything else like cars, pets, swaying tree branches can then be ignored and won’t trigger an alarm. What a great idea! It also has the typical, less sophisticated, PIR detector that other cameras and security lights have. Belt and braces detection.
In settings, you can also define a particular region of the scene that detects movement. For example, you might only want the activity at a specific doorway to be triggered in an otherwise busy scene.
If you have several of these cameras to monitor different areas or rooms, this is easily handled for you by the app. Different users can also be specified so the monitoring can be shared. I haven’t seen any other consumer setups do this.
I wondered what SD cards would be suitable. I only have cards that record 4K and the camera is only 2K or HD so any quality card that can record 4K won’t be a waste of money. A 16Gb card could hold either 10,000 photos OR about 12 hours of video with sound. Typically, a video clip might be about 10 seconds long unless you change the setting. I discovered that when the card is full, the recording writes over the earliest recording.
The device is designed to be totally weatherproof as you would expect, the switches, SD card socket and charge point are sealed in with a tight fitting, removeable rubber bung.
The simple swivelling fixing bracket should allow you to fix easily and orientate the camera perfectly. There is even a setting to rotate the image 180 degrees if necessary.
I quite like the idea of a bright warning light being activated, only at night, to warn off intruders. Almost as satisfying as telling them, over the device’s loudspeaker, to clear off! If you choose, you can set the device to emit a siren sound. A brilliant response if you are in an isolated area, away from neighbours.
I haven’t been able to measure the battery life, but it drops about 1% per day in my less active environment. If you constantly monitor the action, as you would expect, your phone battery runs down much quicker.

This is a brilliant camera for home security use it is small and neatly designed, the set up on the app was super fast(I do have two older model cameras in use and the app/phone system in place so easy to add another model to the app) . The lens quality is alot sharper and brighter than the older models,it records image alerts just the same I’ve not had any issues with the performance overall so well pleased with this purchase. The real icing on the cake is the ability to record video images at night in low light or near darkness in COLOUR and good quality reproduction, there are 3 modes to choose from, Black & white as is normal, Intelligent colour which is a few seconds in B/W then changes to colour or full night colour mode. In colour modes the camera auto shines a bright built in light to achieve the colour resolution which if used alot I can only guess will put some strain on the rechargeable battery regarding discharge but what the hell when you can see in the dark in full and deep colours, add a solar panel if you get resonable sunlight at camera location or manually recharge every now and again with a power bank unit
It also has a auto siren system (switchable ) I havn’t used it in case it disturbs my direct neighbours so it’s easy to turn it off. Iam fully satisfied with this camera and for 49.99 at the moment of writing this review I can see this model really taking off when the word get’s around

The camera arrived quite fast, very well packed with warranty card inside the box. The camera performes very well at day and dark and it is easy to set up with either CloudEdge App or ieGeek App. I have been using it for a while now and the battery still holds. Multiple features and functions and stable connection to the WiFi network. Overall it is a great product with decent features.

Decent little camera with great features

Was happy with a previous version of the ieGeek Camera but this is even better.

Easy to setup the CloudEdge App lets you manage multiple cameras, and it have the facility to send a popup alert on your mobile phone for remote peace of mind. I’ve previously contacted ieGeek’s tech support (trying to work out how to open the charging cover – there are 2 rubber covers so it’s waterproof) and they were very responsive.

This camera monitors my back garden, it’s small enough to balance on the fence and no draw attention to itself. It wouldn’t be out of place inside the house either if that’s it’s intended application. My camera is a way from the Internet Router but still picks up a decent Wifi signal. The image quality is clear and sharp, daytime or night-time.

The motion detection is good, particularly as you can tune the area you want it to send alerts on, the siren facility is useful, not too loud as to be annoy the neighbours but enough I think to make any unwelcome intruders to think again, the speech facility is useful as well in case you have cause to use it.
I’ve added an SD card to give me the facility to record activity, this is straightforward to setup, the app asks do you want to format the card and away you go.

These batteries last for ages, I’m expecting weeks before I need to charge it again.

    Impressed by this little camera

This camera performs exactly as described on Amazon. It has some very nice features such as; a bright light, siren, screenshot, record a video clip and motion activated single photo and video clip all of which can be controlled from your phone.
A very nice feature is the mobile phone notification when a person presents infront of the camera and is easy to have a two way conversation with that person such as the delivery person no matter where you are. The night vision is crystal clear and has an excellent range of vision. It was easy to set up on my WiFi to install overlooking the front door.

A very easy to use CCTV camera with nice features

I already have the doorbell and outdoor camera from IeGeek and very happy with their performance. This model comes with internal battery which remove the need of outdoor wiring. However lack of external antenna means you can’t install it too far from your wifi router.

It has a good quality picture with an adjustable motion detection. It connect to Google Home but you can’t do much. It has Alexa connectivity too but I didn’t test it.

The cloudedge app is used to control the camera which has multiple features for controlling camera different functions

I like the flashlight feature toocwhich is nice for getting a clear picture outdoor at night.

    Small good quality camera

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersThis is my third ieGeek wireless security camera I have around my house and is easily the best.
They are so easy to install with no wiring and the features of this new model are amazing. It now provides a colourful picture in Night Vision, which is amazing. The drawback with the older camera versions was battery life, which meant a recharge every couple of months. This new one has an improved battery life which will make it less laborious.
The free App that comes along with the cameras is also very easy to use. The same App works with all the cameras, making it so convenient to manage and to check any movements. I particularly like the voice feature which I can use when someone is knocking on the door. Overall for the price it’s an amazing piece of kit and I would highly recommend it.
