Insta360 INSBAQC X3 Dive Housing

 

Esto me permite tomar mejores fotografas bajo el agua. A pesar de que no cmara es acutica las fotos no logran verse del todo ntida, en cambio con esta carcasa las fotografas mejoran su calidad notablemente. Por eso le doy un positivo a este artculo. Es un poco costoso pero la calidad vale la pena

 

Such an impressive piece of kit for what it is.

I ummed and ahhhed about which dive case to get for my Insta360 X3. They have ones for 45 and this one for 79.

Should I buy a cheap one? Then I tried them both.

Here’s what I found about this case:

1- Clips together incredibly easily, making it 100% watertight.

2- Buttons are easily pressed and used whilst it’s inside the casing.

3- The camera slots in position without moving once it’s clipped in. Solid!

4- Comes with anti-fog inserts, with a little slot in the side to slide them in. Cheaper casings don’t have this and steam up when the camera heats up under water. Very important!

5- It says scratch resistant. Which I haven’t tried yet, but it does feel like it’s made of a different type of plastic to the cheaper one. Unlikely it’ll crack or implode underwater.

6- Warranty will be covered by using only official accessories.

Overall I’m pleased I opted for the official Insta360 because although it’s around 30 more, that is definitely worth it in my book.

 

Great well made case that is light and sturdy. Only thing is the camera picks up the bottom part of the case when filming so you need to edit that bit out after which can ruin some of your shots. Overall though I am happy with the purchase and have used it a lot over a 2 week period when snorkelling and diving down. I dont trust the advertised waterproofness of the standard camera especial when salt water is involved so I always use this case when in the sea.
