Loved this crib since the first time I saw it, I just had to have it. We got the dark charcoal and it’s just lovely, really stylish.
We found it pretty easy to assemble although had issues with the zip for the basket underneath, it just would not fasten! Neither my partner, parents or I could do it. The basket is handy, you can store a lot in it but it isn’t easily accessible from your bed if you are using it next to the bed, so be mindful of that.
The crib is adjustable in height and can be made to move closer or further away than the bed, something I discovered weeks later.
The side folds down but be aware that it doesn’t fold down to the baby’s mattress as other similar cribs do, there will still be a short “wall”. This wall is not ventilated like other cribs and may be an issue if your baby moves upto it in the night, like mine does.
Comes with storage bag with large handle and is supposed to be easy to fold although I’ve not tried to cannot comment in that.
I would add that it is quite large in comparison to other similar cribs so measure carefully.

Really happy with our choice, different levels help, good breathing mesh. Wish it was more baby-friendly colour (pastel/white/etc).

I love it. I had to accommodate for pets so this product is good if you have pets who like to have a moment and you’re afraid of a Moses basket getting knocked. It’s roomy and soft, and has a nice side part that comes down to see baby or if at night you’re awake to stroke baby without hanging your hand over the top. Can also be used for travel if you stay away.

I’ve had my eye on this next to me bed for a while, and am so glad I decided to get it. It was so easy to put together, I insisted on doing it on my own and had no issues at all. It folds down super flat so will be great to take away for a weekend if necessary, and comes with a carry bag for ease too. I love how stylish it is, it doesn’t look put of place in an adults bedroom. Really pleased with my purchase.

Very handy, next to bed and baby is at peace. the mattress is a bit too thin so extra blanket is need. other than that, I will definitely recommend

Great sized bedside crib with storage underneath. I find the side for putting up and down a bit fiddly but otherwise assembling it was quite easy even for a pregnant woman. The mattress is a bit thin and my baby doesn’t really like to sleep in it but it’s worthwhile as a safe sleeping spot for baby. It rocks a bit side to side, not sure if that’s intentional.

A brilliant next to me for my baby. I’m a big fan of Maxi-Cosi anyway so this did not disappoint. Baby could sleep soundly next to my bed with the adjustable heights. Rocking function meant I could settle baby through the night easily and without even getting out of bed! Storage basket underneath meant all baby essentials were in arms reach – perfect when sleep deprived. Overall design and look were great and I felt it was really sturdy and good quality. Absolutely would recommend!

This bedside cot is the perfect size for baby and any safe space around home(mainly room). It’s simple to set up. Fits nicely in the room and sturdy. The mattress is just right. The zip option is great to keep an eye on baby. Only thing is, a shame you can’t just turn the sleeping basket itself around. My newborn is just getting used to laying in it.

The crib was easy to assemble. The drop down side is a little difficult to use at first but I guess it depends if you plan to keep it up or down for the majority of the time. We did also purchase a Moses basket for downstairs so that we didn’t need to transport the next to me crib even though it can be used as a standalone crib.

To be honest good value for money but disappointed in quality of material. Plastic chipped as per photo. Might just be this one so hard to give a bad review. The unit is sturdy when assembled.

    Good value but damaged

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersReally like this bedside crib. It reassures me to have my baby next to me at night.
She is 4 month old now and fits perfectly in it. I would say that once she reaches 6 months she’ll definitely outgrow it.

You can store things under the bed which is very practical, we use it to store blankets and changing products.

Final update review: my baby is about to be 5months and a half and it is now time to move her to a proper baby bed. So to end this review I want to maintain what I said above, I loved this crib and I’m so sad my baby has outgrown it and will have to be in her big baby bed. I loved having her just next to me at night, it reassured me so much and it was great for bonding without co-sleeping. I definitely recommend this crib.

Ordered the blue but received the dark grey, which i actually think i prefer in case next bubs is a girl.
We found it easy to put together and take apart. It takes a bit of time but we dont plan to carry it around too much as grandparents etc have purchased travel cots for their houses.
Fits well to the bed, i feel like its safe and sturdy enough for baby, even with first time mum paranoia.
I got snuz bedside cot sheets which fit perfectly. It doesnt take long to do research into which sheets fit, just look at the sizes.
I think this bedside cot is stylish and practical, some of the others we looked at seemed more bulky and not as well made.

A little surprised to see there were marks and little white bits on it considering it’s brand new and for the price of it aswell, I don’t expect there to be any scratches on it whatsoever but over all it’s sturdy and nice fits out bed perfectly!

It’s really nice but came with marks on i

Even better than the photos. A nice piece of furniture that will last the baby longer than most cribs. Great travel cot too as it comes with a travel bag.

This sleeper is for my grand baby, and my son and daughter in law are quite pleased with quality, sturdiness(dog proof), and design.
It’s been a nice addition to their bedroom for the newborn.

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersLove this bedside cot! It’s study, easy to put up and down. Comes with its own travel bag too. Only thing we’re having problems with is finding the right dimensions for the mattress, to get some bedding.

5.0 out of 5 stars Beautiful bedside co

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersBought this before baby is due, so we’ve got a crib for the first couple of months. The mrs said shes googled it and its easy to assemble and collapse. So not wanting to wait 3 months before using it and finding out theres apart missing, I thought I’d build it, so if anything was wrong I could send it back. Its awkward to assemble. Then once assembled I thought I’d just collapse and put back in the carry bag. Oh no! To collapse it, it needs to be dismantled. Not what I was expecting for an easy store. Theres like 1 million zips to zip up and line up with, which is confusing as all the zips are close together. (ok 1 million zips is an over exaggeration, but still lots of zips and push buttons)
    Looks good though.
    Strudy.
Delivery was slow, but it was ordered during a pandemic, so cant complain.
All I can say is, there must be an easier collapsible bedside cot. Or a way to redesign this model to fold away easier than unscrewing it, and unzipping everything.

Good, but complete faf to collapse

On arrival of our second born, we decided to order this Maxi Cosy crib as the design and range of colours caught my eye. For my first child, we had a very similar item which was fantastic but not as modern in design.

Having used this for a few months now, I can honestly say it’s a brilliant product and an excellent investment. I think this is beautifully made, it’s strong and sturdy with high quality materials and complementing colours. Dark grey, mid grey and black work well together. The proof really is that my 5-month-old has slept contently in this crib for both naps and night-time sleeping.

You can use this as a stand-alone crib or zip the side down and have it as an extension to your own bed, great for night feeds where you can just reach over to feed your baby. As a stand-alone, there is a mesh window so you can keep an eye on your baby and she can see you which is always comforting. The crib also has a large storage tray underneath, great for nappies, creams and a change of clothing although it can fit much more.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersWhat a smart crib, I love the wood effect all around the top and of course the in colour is grey! It has a big basket underneath for storage is nappies, blankets… It is so easy to manoeuvre the height up and down, there are 5 heights. The mattress is good quality and soft, wipe clean. There is a mesh underneath and then board covered by fabric. The sides have grey jersey cotton, so nice and soft lining. This is a smart modern crib, leather badge. The legs were a bit stiff to click into place but once in, sturdy. Lots of zips and clips to lock everything in place. It has non slip feet pads too. Really lovely quality.

5.0 out of 5 stars Really lovely quality.

Golden Review Award: 30 From Our UsersTHIS IS A MUST HAVE! This basket style bed is a game changer and a serious investment for you and your baby (and any future babies). Maxi-Cosi have really thought of everything with its stunning design. Not only is it made from high quality materials but also comes in a range of stylish colours. I have the dark grey and it matches perfectly with my bedroom! This crib can go on either side of your bed and sits flush right up to the side, no matter what type of bed you have. I have tried this out against both, my bed (which is low to the ground and has a wide boarder around the sides) and our Spare bed (which is super high). Through very clever engineering it can move up and down and side to side at the click of a button it is so easy.
It arrived in a heavy box but requires very minimal assembly. Due to many of the parts being mental this IS NOT lightweight, it’s made of top quality materials and is very sturdy, therefore you baby would not be able to knock it over or even move it. There are also safety straps to securely attach it to your bed so it doesn’t move. The set contains everything you need to use this every day and even as a travel crib if you want to take it with you. It folds flat and comes with a neat carry bag, which can hold the entire crib set, however it is heavy so I wouldn’t want to carry it far.
Compared to my previous Moses basket this is very big, its much longer and wider but this certainly means you can use it for longer. It says it can be used up to 9months but this is very dependant on the size of your baby. My son is very small so will probably stay in it until he can roll over or sit up. It’s super easy to carefully place your baby into it during those night feeds as one sides goes down so you can easily slide them in and pray they don’t wake up.
This is a fantastic bit of equipment and a serious up grade from those flimsy old Moses baskets on the little wooden stands. The basket underneath is perfect for keeping spare muslins squares in and some extra nappies, all those essentials you need at arms reach.
Another reason why this item is amazing is because everything your baby touches can easily be washed. The inside of the crib is completely removable and washable and the same with the mattress cover. However, you do need to buy your own mattress sheets, as these are not included. Overall, this ‘next to me’ baby crib is amazing and I am enjoying using it with my baby now and will certainly be using it with any babies I have in the future!

5.0 out of 5 stars A serious must have!
