Miele TSL783 WP 9 kg Tumble Dryer – Freestanding, Quiet

This tumble dryer is fantastic!

It’s incredibly efficient and it’s power consumption is much less than my previous dryer.

Miele is a huge brand, this machine really shows it, it’s a lot quieter than others I’ve owned. The information display looks great and almost futuristic. Holds a great amount of clothing meaning big loads are no problem.

I’ve not quite sussed it out entirely as there’s a few things I don’t quite understand. A neat trick is you can see how much kWH it’s used per cycle so you can keep track of your electric consumption!

First time knowing this brand and I feel regret not knowing it earlier. The machine is excellently built, extremely quiet, effectively performance. Literally every penny worths.

Great dryer. Very quiet. I have connected the dryer to the wifi and can control it via my phone using the Miele app. Easy to understand program. When you start drying a load on the extra dry cycle it reads over 3 hours, but fortunately it’s built in systems monitor the drying process and brings done the time considerably. Sensor turns dryer off when clothes are dry, so no shrinking of over dried clothes. Easy to remove and empty the water from the top front drawer, be careful as the tank can get fuller than you may think so support the end as it comes out.

Build quality is excellent, very easy to install. It’s simple and straightforward to maintain and use (even my kids can do it), and it does a fantastic job of drying without overdrying, and above all reliable.

In comparison, the Miele is more silent and dries faster than our previous Samsung that we paid 750 pounds about 7 years ago.

I like to buy all the energy efficient appliances. My favorite feature of This machine is, it has an extremely high energy rating—A+++. I plugged it into my energy monitor plug and it’s shocking to see that it barely costs anything to run one of these. Having replaced my old, less energy efficient Samsung drier, this new one has cut down my energy consumption dramatically. It probably takes a bit longer to dry but more energy efficient and very easy to empty water container after drying programme completed.

It has so many great features, many settings/options to choose from, something you’ll need to experiment with to get correct for your load. Sometimes it’s hard to determine which cycle to use but always turns out good, I found Cotton and Mixed Loads are what I use most.

I really love the WiFi connectivity which shows me the progress of the machine and how many minutes left until the program is finished, it sends a message to my phone through the app when it has finished its cycle. The light is very useful so you can see if you leave clothes in the drum or need to clean fluff on the filter.

There is no other access to water outlet in my kitchen, so was happy that this dryer had a collection tray which I empty after each load, no hose needed.

The laundry comes out as selected, either iron or cupboard dry at the end of the programme and uniformly dry with much less creasing due to the large drum in which the warm air circulates.

The large 9KG-drum capacity is absolutely brilliant, makes drying on wash day for a family of 5 a breeze. Plus the flacon produces a lovely smell on the clothes, terrific!

The machine runs far quieter than I expected, and the room temperature gets no warmer with the dryer on. Only gripe is , being a bit picky, the outside of the door seems to attract dust.

Overall very well made and engineered, solid and intuitive, proving low cost to run. It is indeed fairly expensive but the cost over the life span, you will gain that back on economy.

Can not recommend highly enough, I can only say it is the best I have had.

Getting clothes dry is rather important here in the UK as we don’t have sunshine all the time particularly in winter. This dryer however does a great joIt seems/feels very solid and well built – it’s freaking heavy, so clearly not made of paper thin materials that will not last.

Compared to the machine it replaces it is incredibly quiet. No motor noises. I think I might actually be able to watch the TV with it on, rather than turn it on then go to work, like I had to with the old one – sounded like I had a helicopter in the room.

I love it, it dries clothes quickly and efficiently, leaving them nice, soft and relatively wrinkle free. I usually use the mixed load setting for normal laundry and the towels setting for towels/cleaning cloths. Plus the manual setting if it needs extra drying – but always because I mixed a thick bathroom rug with thinner stuff like kitchen towels, not because it doesn’t dry properly.

I am happy with it. If it lives up to the manufacturer promise of ‘testsed for 20 years use’ it will outlast me.

Never disappointed with Miele. It has all the programs and modes you could ever want and dried all of our laundry very effectively. Lots of drying options but also has easy function to quickly dry an item. The clothes come out at a gentle temperature and don’t feel scorched. I like the idea that the flacon fragrance makes your clothes smell beautiful. Good quality build and light in drum so don’t miss any clothes when emptying it. Very easy to remove water and clean the filter. It’s nice and quite when running. Love how it is so quite compared to previous tumble dryer.
