good game BUT
another great game as part of the PGA 2k series. The courses are immaculate and the inclusion of the PGA pros is great. I’m loving the journey from rookie to pro but that is where my frustrations begin.
I’m not against difficult games, and I love the realism of the 2k series in that you can’t boost your shots or over spin the ball like the PGA games of old, but WOW the learning curve on this game is steep.
after blitzing the rookie qualifying, I putted like a demon, hit 80% of FIR and GIR, I found myself feeling invincible and ready as a r=fresh faced rookie. My first junior tour event started well, -3 after 10 holes, and then BOOM, I sudden found myself 3 putting for bogies, I was hooking like a boxer and slicing like a chef. Hitting a fairway became a distant memory. in the space of 7 holes I found myself +12, a swing of 15 strokes. Slightly deflated I entered the second round, it surely could not get any worse, how wrong I was. if finished with a combine 2 round score of +33.
Please get this game, it can be incredible enjoyable, but I recommend spending time on the driving range “tailoring” your swing path, practice practice practice, and then you may just make it to the pro tou
Great graphics, miss certain features
Graphics are superb. I had one glitch, where I was stuck off a green hitting an invisible barrier (had to give up the hole). I miss buying new equipment to improve performance. This game does it through buying shafts, grips or heads to improve the stats. Overall a great game, and works well playing online.

Good and enjoyable game and really good gameplay but basically same as ps4 version and graphics are same aswell.Was excepting this years version to be better plus graphics to be better as on ps5 but not and some of 2k graphics on this game are ps1 standard and look like they’ve made no effort with certain aspects such as buildings and spectators and some lakes/ponds on courses just blocks with no moving water and ripples looks tacky.
Great new edition of one of my favourite games. Past features such as the course designer and divot derby from the previous edition are here, plus improvements in the graphics and the game play. I’m thrilled with this new version.
PGA 2K23 is a franchise that i have enjoyed in the past having own 2k21 .2k have released the PS5 version with many bugs and glitches .The first glitch that i have found is the career mode ,when you create a player and join a career mode tournament the screen freezes .The second glitch is when you try to play a casual match with your created player the screen go into a black screen and the game has to be reset.

The game play is good but until they patch these game changing bugs i cannot recommend this game.
2K games have provided a patch that fixes the career mode bug.Game now loads into career mode without any problems,pleased with 2k 23 well worth buying if golf is your thing.
