Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis GoPro magnetic attachment works great for me. I hang the necklace and I recommend using the magnet thru your clothing. So here I am using it thru my sweater. The necklace can be adjusted in case you need the GoPro to sit higher on your chest. I feel thru the clothing, it holds it better in place. Works great for me!

    Ottimo prodotto

A friend got a mount like this and mentioned how good it worked. I was skeptical, thinking that the mangnet coudn’t really be strong enough to hold the camera securely enough. Was I ever wrong?!
The magnet is plenty strong and this mount is dead simple and convenient to use.

I like the concept of the inside shirt magnet outside mount for the camera. There are others that do not seem as stable as this one. I like that the strong magnet can withstand a lot of movement without having any issue in being secure.

I would recommend that you use this for mounting to metal surfaces instead of using the neck mount. When using the neck mount, the mount moves with your shirt. I was going to use this to replace a chest mount but when I sway left and right, the mount follows with the movement of the shirt. While as I use my chest mount, my action cam, the x3 stays put. I can’t even imagen if you didn’t have a 360 camera, how bad it would be. At least my x3 can edit after in post. That being said, the magnets are crazy strong that the only way to remove it from the neck mount is to slide it. I was messing around with the mount and it caught my finger and caused internal bleeding. If you want to get good stills then use this mount. I don’t think it would be a replacement for a chest mount or anything similar. It would be a good mount to any metal object, just don’t use the neck strap. I would also use the included sticky mount and have it applied to my windshield to be used as a dash cam.

Do you need a magnetic mount for your GoPro? Would you also like it to work as a magnetic chest mount? (i.e. you put the magnet inside your shirt and it holds the GoPro in place) If you answered yes to either of those questions, this will do exactly what you need.

Admittedly I am using this more as a magnetic mount than as a worn item, but it works well in both cases… though honestly I wouldn’t trust it in an “action” situation like surfing or skydiving. For lighter activities like running or bicycling it works well though.

The magnet is quite strong though, so I would recommend treating it with care as catching your fingers is surprisingly easy to do.

The magnet on this is super strong! That is great because it helps it stay in place but can make it hard to break apart if you aren’t aware of the tab on the inside part where the lanyard attaches. If you locate this you can not only slide it apart via the tab but get leverage to break them apart – no problem. Please see my screen shots for help locating this tab.

Also, in the screen shots you can see that this works with the gopro hero black 10 while inside of the media mod.

The length of the lanyard is easy to adjust which is great because you’ll want to expand it to put it on and then tighten it up to shorten it so you can get chest level video instead of lower.

Strong magnet and easy to use!

Well constructed, sturdy, magnetic GoPro/action camera mount!

While magnetic mounts aren’t a substitute for the stability that can be achieved with strap style body mounts, they are typically invisible, small, quick and easy to use. This mount is no exception.

Place the lanyard attached to the inner magnetic plate around your neck and slip the plate under your clothing. Attach the camera to the outer plate and position the inner plate where you would like the camera to be located. Approximate the outer plate to the inner and the strong magnetic pull will pop it into place. The thinner the clothing layer, the greater the magnetic holding power, but, I found this device worked well even when attached to a thick leather jacket. It will not work well under multiple clothing layers.
One problem with a magnetic mount is that when your clothing moves while walking, so does the camera. Unless your wardrobe is all spandex, don’t expect gimbal-like quality video. Besides clothing, however, this mount can be attached directly to metal or mounted through a window. A safety strap is included and should be used on your camera during action shots, just in case the magnetic bond is broken. Also included in the kit, is a round plate with an adhesive backing. The plate can be fixed to a flat surface that has no magnetic properties such as plastics or fiberglass. The round plate is more of a single-use attachment and while it will hold the camera, provides far less magnetic force.

Final impression: Simple, quality design. Strong magnetic pull allows the mount to be used on a variety of surfaces. Great small accessory to throw in your bag for those, “just in case” moments.

Great holding power, compact, handy mount!

I recently got a new gopro hero 11 and I wanted some kind of chest mount for when I’m making videos riding on my electric Scooter. I also wanted wanted something that I could feel confident that it would hold my new gopro and not fall off.
All I can say is WOW! This magnetic mount is amazingly strong. I was really surprised at how powerful this magnet is. I think this is a very well made product. The lanyard feels pretty comfortable while I’m wearing it. I also like how neat it looks when I’m wearing it. I will say it can be a little difficult to take apart because of how strong the magnet is. So far I am happy with. There’s nothing really bad that I can say about it. I would definitely recommend this product.

I like the mounting flexibility the most about this product. You can mount on your shirt, jacket, pack, etc. You can mount on any metal surface.

Also, you can swivel back and forth to adjust the framing as needed. You can also swivel side to side just by positioning on the magnetic surface how you want.

It is a simple and effective mount with strong magnets. Great to have in your action cam kit.

I’ve had my eye on the snapmount system for my gopro for awhile. I was surprised to see this cheaper version and decided to give it a try since it s half the price basically. As soon as I got it I gave a try. Hooks onto my gopro hero 8 easily. And even the Media Mod isn’t a problem. It lays flat against the mount. Now how does it hold up. I placed it around my neck and under my shirt and snapped the mount to the base plate. It was quite strong. Did some jumping around and it held tight. A heavy jump did cause the gopro to tilt forward on the mount but.. it never came loose from the magnet. I would say.. all in all this is a great little mount and budget version of the original snapmount.

I got this extra mouting for my DJI OSMO Action 3 camera. So far, it has been a good companion purchase. While it is still weird for me to put a magnet inside my compression shirt/jacket. The magnet does lock on tight. Sometimes when I’m not careful I pinch my self. The magnet is strong so, handle with care and do not underestimate its’pull.

The magnet has given me more control over my camera, as far as mounting it on random metal surfaces and it does it well with the adjustable swivel neck you have more than enough options. The neck/tether strap that comes with it is a nice bonus but I believe it is more of a peace of mind thrown in item than an actual security item. But one can never be too careful. Definitely worth a shot with its wallet friendly price.

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersI love my GoPro 9. I’m way too old to do anything adventurous with it, but I do get outside a lot, and I do travel. I love to hike and take videos of where I have been. I have used chest straps and head devices. When I saw this product, I was really excited to test it out. I wondered if it could really hold a GoPro in wilderness hiking.

These are the most powerful magnets I have ever seen outside an MRI. They would hold onto a GoPro through almost any condition. I could see a few situations where the camera might come off, but it would be something like a tree branch coming between you and the GoPro. It could happen, but it’s not likely.

    Caution:
Because the magnets are so powerful you can really pinch your fingers. I can tell you from experience it hurts. However, it could be much worse for a young child. You need to keep them away from the magnets.

The second caution is that these could actually be dangerous around people who have electronic devices implanted in their bodies: things such as pacemakers, defibrillators, Inspire devices, and other electronic apparatuses. Most of these things are placed in the chest, and that is the area where the magnets are generally going to be placed.

    Review
I tried out the mount on my chest area. I found that the kind of shirt or jacket you wear is important if you want to take good videos with this mount. I found that loose polyester shirts just weren’t going to work. I experimented with a relatively tight cotton shirt and a lightweight jacket. I found that the higher-up on the shirt or jacket the mount was placed provided a much more stable video. I have attached the video of what it looked like when I was wearing it lower on my cotton shirt. It was by far the worst video. The ones near the collar were pretty good. However, sometimes getting a level shot was harder than wearing a chest mount.

Use your imagination and you can come up with all sorts of places to put the mount. I put it on the front panels of a baseball hat (they need to be soft), and it worked pretty well. Overall, I like this mount and will use it in the future. I’ll just be careful when using it and I will try not to hug any old people when I’m wearing it.

The first thing I notice about this is the magnet is very strong. The neck lanyard is nice, it’s not super uncomfortable, but you can definitely feel it’s there. The magnet will go through a thick shirt since it’s so strong. You will have to twist the magnet in order to remove your GoPro from the necklace. So far this is a very good product. I would totally recommend it.

There’s no such thing as having ‘enough’ GoPro accessories. That’s why I ordered this. It’s a really handy little accessory for any action cam enthusiast. Once you affix your GoPro (or in these photos your DJI Osmo Action 3) to the mount you can do all sorts of things with it. You can hang it on your shirt as seen in the product description. Alternately, you can slap it up on anything metal–fences, cars, whatever. The magnets are very strong–particularly when they’re attached to each other as shown in the product description. All sorts of things you can do with a mount like this. Highly recommended!

This is a very clever solution for mounting a GoPro. Basically, it’s two very strong magnets that are powerful enough to clamp together and hold your GoPro through fabrics or thin surfaces.

They’re actually powerful enough to hold up the GoPro through a window. It was strong enough to hold up the GoPro through my car windshield. However, I’m skeptical about whether you can drive over very bumpy roads or be in a collision without it breaking contact. They have a mounting ring with an adhesive back that they include for mounting on a windshield, which is probably a smarter approach.

If you do happen to use these magnets through a window (or through any other material where you’re concerned the magnetic bond could break) then I’d recommend using the included lanyards to secure the camera magnet and backing magnet to something. That way, if the bond breaks you don’t lose the camera or backing magnet.

This gives you a lot of new creative ways to mount your GoPro and is quite inexpensive. It’s worth every penny and then some.

    Clever Solution!

This magnetic mount for a GoPro is really awesome! The mount has a backplate that has a very strong magnet that is attached to a lanyard. Once you put the lanyard and the magnet inside of your shirt it will attach very easily to the front plate and it will have a very, very strong hold to the outer mount. Once the magnet is connected it is not easy to release it, which is really what you want. To get the back plate off, I will slide the back plate up or down to get it apart. It will not come apart just be pulling it off. It has a very good grip and the camera will not fall off. I went for a hike and it never moved. As you can see in the pictures the lanyard can me made shorter if you want to wear the camera higher. The lanyard is nice and long, but can easily be made shorter. Once you have the GoPro attached to start recording it is easy to record by pressing the top button. The GoPro mount is like the others where you can adjust the lean angle then tighten the screw. I really like this mount a lot. I like that the magnet is super strong and you will not have to worry about the plates separating by mistake.

I primarily use my GoPro for recording two events that are so distinctly different from one another:

    1. Obstacle race (Spartan, Tough Mudder, Dekafit)
    2. Stunt kite flying (yes, highly maneuverable kite controlled by two lines)

As you can tell, one requires all the rigor of bouncing, running, getting dirty and the other is simply walking back and forth in a small plot of beach/park.

I chose the Reygeak mount specifically for recording my kite training. I already have a silicone neck mounted version and it works but as I lean my body to the left or right, the mount gets tilted and remains so without my knowledge. I was hoping the Reygeak magnetic mount will correct that.

The magnets on the Reygeak are freakishly strong. OMG, it takes a bit of effort to separate the two plates apart. You also do not want to have your fingers sandwiched so be extra careful. The adjustable lanyard is easy to work out the placement on your chest. I do like how small and discreet it appears in my hand and when in use over my shirt.

TIP: Don’t wear loose shirts or shirts made of light material. I learned that lesson. The weight of the magnet will sway more than you want. Wearing heavy cotton shirts does the trick for me.

For my kite flying which is similar to walking situations, the magnetic mount maintained the upward angle chosen and the horizontal stayed level thanks to the auto correction magnets. Each person probably has a spot on their chest that is best for placing the mount and avoiding the rise and fall movements when breathing. Mine is about an inch above my sternum.

This is a cool looking GoPro mount and my first all magnetic one as well. I am enjoying better success than the neck mounted version for recording. I do get many people giving me strange looks as they see me walking pass them with the GoPro literally glued to my shirt. If they only knew.

Definitely recommended for light activity from my experience. 4.5 Stars!

    Great for Kite-Flyers!

I tried other similar products but they are bulky, too big or have angles and edges that may damage your clothes and looks enormous and ugly like you are wearing a license plate on your clothes..
This is none of that, it’s super light, compact, has a really nice design with smooth surface and is discrete so even on lighter and more delicated fabric it can be used depending on the placement, for example if you use on a gym dry-fit tee, if you place it near the collarbone towardds the shoulder it may hold pretty decently without dragging your tee collar down (after all despite being lightweight you have to consider the camera weight too, in my case a GoPro Hero 8). I’ll use it mostly on my snowboard jacket and I feel I won’t have any problems since the magnets feel strong enough to keep it in place safely, but I may try using it in different applications like shown on the Amazon page for this product, for shooting B-Rolls and other uses.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis works well, but it does require a little effort. I’ve tested this on a DJI Osmo Action, GoPro Hero 7 and GoPro Hero 9 and what I’ve found is the pendant needs to be as high and tight as possible. If you allow it to hang down around the middle of your body, it’s going to create way too much movement and your footage is going to be shaky even with Rock Steady, Hyper Smooth, etc. I got the best results when I pulled it as tight as it would go so that the camera was sitting on my chest just below my collar bone. This seemed to give the most stability. The problem with pendants versus traditional chest mounts, is pendants just have too much sway back and forth whereas chest mounts keep the camera locked in place. With walking footage, I still see the motion of footsteps when walking at full speed. With walking hyper lapses, everything is perfectly smooth and the pendant fairs its best in these circumstances. Pendant aside, the mount for this is magnetic as well so you can actually use this as a completely separate mount. This actually works great. I was able to place the camera on the side of the car, refrigerator, etc. – basically anything metal and it held really well. I filmed both a driving hyper lapse and regular driving footage with the magnetic mount and the footage is incredibly smooth. So overall, I kind of view this as a really great magnetic mount that I use every day, with a bonus pendant that I’ll use from time to time. The pendant is at its strongest when filming any kind of POV footage of your hands, for example, cooking or drawing or anything of that nature. On the other hand, it doesn’t really work at all for any kind of action sports – skateboarding, surfing, biking, etc. are kind of out of the question. For people who film virtual walking tours for YouTube or social media, I would say it does work well, but consider finding a way to stabilize the part of the pendant that’s inside your shirt – a thicker shirt holds it in place better than a thinner shirt.

I’ve purchased all kinds of GoPro accessories since I had my first GoPro Session camera from different types of mounts, selfie-sticks, tripods, floaty handles, you name it, but this accessory takes the cake.

I’ve always wanted to be able to mount my GoPro without having to use a backpack or baseball cap, so this mount achieves that. I’ve seen other types of magnetic mounts, but their design, well let’s just say suck. They’re either bulky, not well designed, or just plain ugly. This mount looks sleek and is barely even noticeable.

The magnet on this thing is super strong. So strong, I couldn’t even pry the two halves from each other out of the box. I learned thru trial and error that the best way to detach the halves from each other is by sliding them apart.

As I mentioned, the design on this is really nice. The mount that you attach your GoPro to is flat and shaped like Superman’s logo. Pretty cool unlike other mounts that are square and not well made. The mount is flat enough to even use as a stand with your GoPro attached. It also comes with a circle metal disc with 3M tape on the back so that you can mount to a flat surface then attach the mount to. I wouldn’t advise doing that, especially if you’re mounting it outside of a moving vehicle but it may be fine inside of let’s say your car.

The only cons I have with this mount are, 1) they could have added tabs of some sort to make it easier to pull the two halves apart, but as I mentioned sliding them apart worked pretty good with out too much effort, and 2) the lanyard slides to adjust the drop of the mount, but it’s not even, so when you do achieve the desired height for where you want your mount positioned, is difficult to gauge if the mount is straight because the lanyard isn’t even and you can’t adjust it from the mount. Not a big deal but worth pointing out as it can affect your shot.

Overall, one of the better action camera magnetic mounts, well designed and has a super strong magnet. I highly recommend it.

I have to commend this GoPro mount for the very strong magnets. I feel pretty confident with mounting this on my jacket or vest to film my bike ride. The one thing I wish that it has is for the back plate to have one sort of pull tab to make it easier to take apart. The magnets are so strong that it is very difficult to pull apart as it is. One important note to mention: make sure to keep fingers and any part of the skin clear of the two plates when they snap together. The magnets are so strong that there could be a chance of pinching the skin or fingers if you’re not careful. Other than that, I feel confident mounting my expensive GoPro on this and knowing that it would stay secure.
