The fridge was delivered before the time given and we were kept informed about this. The fridge was plugged in and had reached the desired temperature in a few hours. It is used for our cans and bottles and there is plenty of space for all the different sizes. The light on the fridge is good as you can see what you’re looking for. We have the fridge in our outside bar and we don’t find the running noise loud. I would definitely recommend and am so glad that we got it.

Came well packaged, early delivery. Installed about a week ago. So far no problems, temperature just shy of 4 keeps the beers good and cold . Not much noise. There are no instructions to reverse the door, I noticed some screws were at an angle on the hinge and some scuffing on the paint work when I transferred the door. I’ve noticed some frosting on the back plate which I suppose is normal. I’ll update this review as time goes on. But, so far so good a nice addition to the kitchen. UPDATE: Almost 3 months down the line and everything A ok…defrosted the first time recently no problems at all.
Perfect For What I Needed
What a lovely little under counter Beer / Wine / Drinks fridge, nice design, adjustable and removable shelves, fitted LED light with internal switch, temperature adjustment control, (I found number 4 setting to be spot on) … why i never purchased one of these earlier i’ll never know ! …. Delivery was spot on with DPD and within a couple of days.
Absolutely amazing - reminds me of the fridges behind bars and clubs
Amazing mini-fridge! Definitely worth the buy. I had an issue with water condensation coming from the bottom front of the door which almost ruined it for me. But turns out it’s normal, especially when you have it on the highest setting which is 5. 3-4 does the job and keep everything perfectly chill. Grates are sturdy and don’t bend, can hold an entire row of Pepsi cans. Haven’t tried any glass but I’m sure it’s ok as long as it’s not too heavy!
Looks very impressive.
Only used for one week. Noticed ice on back. Think we left temperature too high after setting up. Turned down to three now, so think we should be OK. Be careful how you fit bottles on top of each other! I opened the door, a bottle shot out and spun around the floor. It didn’t break but whizzed all around the floor. I managed to stop it and one gentleman had a very fizzy lager!!! (The cooler does look very nice though).
Nice looking Drinks fridge
This fridge looks really nice and does the job, the only thing I don’t like is that it doesn’t make the drinks supercold as you would get from a conventional fridge, but cold enough to enjoy.
Great little bear fridge.
This is a great little fridge. I had a problem with the light and sent a message to the seller who got straight back to me within minutes with a possible reson for the ligjt now working. It turned out to be the little light switch inside i had accidentally swithed off with a bottle of beer.
Very helpful after sale service.
Excellent fridge but a little loud
Really nice fridge and holds a steady temperature however this unit is a little loud so depending on placement it might not be ideal for you. We have it through in a dining room away from our living area so it is not a problem for us at all.
Great Fridge
Great Fridge, can go very cold, we only have it on setting 2 and can go to 5, although anything about 3.5 and it was probably stay “on” to keep the temperature so will make a little hum noise. On 3 and below I barely hear it. Great looking fridge. A bit tricky to pop of the plastic caps to change which side the door hinge is as you obviously dont want to damage anything but still easy enough. Very happy

It was noticable that the fridge was not cooling down. Once Subcold had asked a couple of questions it was picked up and replaced with a new unit. Fast response no arguements

I was going through reviews of a lot of similar products on amazon trying to find a fridge that would suit be best and went with this one, and what a good choice that was! I couldn’t be happier with the fridge.
PROS:

CONS:
– Only con really is that I wish there was maybe an extra regular shelf so you can swap out the wine one with a normal shelf if wanted.

A nice refrigerato
We’ve had this refrigerator for about 2 months now. I had read reviews that the product was noisey. I thought I would give it a go anyway. Please note, the fridge is returnable, but not free returns. You need to organise this yourself. The fridge is noisey at times. Every now and then it rumbles and then makes a ping, like a type writer. Actually. When it does, it makes me chuckle Would be absolutely fine in a kitchen or room that people are not in all day or evening.
Nice home office additio
My in-laws bought me a Pinter for Christmas and it takes up quite a bit of fridge space, so I took the plunge and bought this fridge.
Was a little concerned about noise after reading some reviews, but it is very quiet. I can’t see how this is a problem at all.
The unit itself is well made with good internal and external design. Plenty of space. Will be great in summer time for BBQs and parties. Wish I’d purchased sooner.
Great stylish Fridge for a home ba
Great little fridge . Looks really flash in my dining room where I have a home bar . It can be a bit noisy, just like a regular kitchen fridge . So far it seems to be holding the temperature well . The cans get plenty cold enough ( i have mine on setting 3 ) . I have had condensation build up on the outside of the fidge door . Not sure what is causing it . There are reviews of flimsy shelving but mine are robust and very strong and hold loads of cans and bottles . See pics . Cold beer anyone?
Good produc
Good product, at 5 the coldest temperature keep the drinks chilled but not super cold like a fridge. After 8 months on 5 an iceberg grew, so you will need to defrost it every year. Good product and very good value for money
This fridge looks the part. I chose the stainless steel version to match my freezer and wasn’t disappointed. I did find an annoying vibration buzz when first installed despite levelling, but once I filled the fridge the weight of the cartons and bottles mostly cancelled it out. The see through window is handy to view your stock. The Led light could be a tad brighter but overall I am pleased with this item and would recommend. The delivery was incredibly quick too.
High quality Drinks Chille
The Chiller has a premium feel of construction and would recommend opting for the Stainless steel door surround, It gives the unit a professional looking finish and well worth paying the extra tenner for it! Drinks are nice and cold with the thermostat on just over half way, so there is more scope if you want things even colder. Another plus is the lower power consumption compared to most of it’s rivals….It’s also pretty quiet too. So all in all (and although still early Days) we are absolutely delighted with it!

This fridge is perfect for our garden bar, the right size, holds lots of different sized bottles, very quiet and looks modern. I like the light inside (which you can turn off if you want to) and easy to set up and get going. Arrived quickly with no visible damage.
I got the fridge (85 litre version) about a week ago and I’m quite pleased.
Delivery was on time, within two days of purchase.
Packaging was very good; thick cardboard, with expanded polystyrene top and bottom. There was no damage and all internal shelving was taped in place.
The fridge comes with two tiny self-adhesive felt pads to put on the rear ‘legs’. There aren’t any legs at the rear, just protrusions from the metal base. The two front legs are adjustable to account for any unevenness in the floor.
The shelves can move about, depending on what sort of height or orientation of bottles/cans you decide. However, the door needs to be able to open slightly more than 90 to allow the shelves to be removed without fouling against the door’s rubber/magnetic seal.
Initially, I thought the fridge to be quite noisy. However, this was fixed by adjusting and readjusting the front legs. It seemed noisier when it was empty than full; probably due to the shelves vibrating in time with the compressor. It now runs no noisier than my standard Hotpoint fridge/freezer.
After a couple of days I started to get quite a lot of condensation on the glass door, particularly at the bottom. However, the weather is quite warm and very humid at the moment, so that might be the reason. To check if the glass door was an inefficient insulator, I took some thermal images. These images have a heat map superimposed over the image, ranging from black=coolest to yellow=hottest. The temperature at the top left corresponds to the temperature being measured at the white square/crosswires in the centre. The two min/max temperatures at the bottom left correspond to the coolest and hottest temperatures being measured in the whole image. As a reference (not shown in any image), the temperature taken of an inside wall was 24.4C.
All images were taken with the compressor running. After the initial cool down with the control set at 5 out of 5, I’ve had it running all week at 4 out of 5. (I’m going to change it to 3 out of 5 as the drinks are easily cold enough.)
The 11:13:09 image shows the fridge from the front/left with the door closed. The centre temperature is 18.8C, with the coolest being 16.7C. As 16.7C isn’t that cold, I’m assuming that the condensation is as a result of very humid conditions at the moment. Note that the side temperature is 39.0C – it feels quite warm to the touch. Fridges work by ‘pushing’ heat from one place to another, so, as the instructions say, keep a gap between the fridge and walls so the heat can escape. As a comparison, my Hotpoint fridge/freezer measures 37.5C at the rear radiator, so 39.0C isn’t anything out of the ordinary.
The 11:13:46 image shows the fridge more straight on. There’s no obvious difference in temperature between the top and the bottom of the OUTSIDE of the glass door.
The 11:14:42 image shows the fridge straight on, with the door open. The can in the middle of the white square/crosswires measures 2.9C. That’s cold. Internally, there’s only about 2C difference between the bottles at the top and the bottles at the bottom. Also note that the minimum temperature is -7.4C. This is due to the compressor running and the camera catching the cooling plate at the back. Obviously, if the door is opened a lot during humid weather, visible ice will build up at the back.
I’ve given 4 out of 5 stars as opposed to 5 out of 5 as the price is a bit high and the shelving is a bit flimsy, but they’re quite minor comments. It looks great and you could easily imagine it sitting behind any bar in a pub.
Brilliant spacious Fridge
Bought this fridge for my study/home office room in our flat. It looks really good, modern and has a lot of space. It was meant to be only for drinks but seeing that space inside, I am quite sure we will use it for food as well. The light inside of the fridge gives it a really look. Really love it.
Delivery was superfast and it was packed very well and secure. Noise level is Ok. Might be the only point which I would criticize a bit. It is not loud but if you sit close to it you will notice it.
Attractive well adjustable shelving bit noisy
Good looking carries a mixed stock Easy adjustable shelving allows good mix of wines lying down cans and upright bottles. The insulation level is disappointing I would rather the sides carried more insulation. A little noisier than a domestic fridge, we looked hard when buying but could not find a better insulated quieter model.
Good fridge but a bit noisy
Overall I’m relatively pleased with this fridge, however I do think there are some things worth taking note of if you plan on buying this product.
Firstly, the door hinge can be swapped to enable the door to swing open in the opposite direction of that shown in the product image. This is not an easy task and there are no instructions included to show you how to do this. In addition, I found elements of the build quality to be somewhat lacking, the holes for the screws were drilled at an angle meaning the screws could not be tightened flush with the unit. Leaving the screws a couple of millimetres up on one side.
Secondly, after set up, the instructions suggest to operate the unit at 3-4. This setting, in my opinion, does not make the beverages cold enough. For them to be cold enough, I’ve found you have to leave the fridge door shut for 24 hours without opening to take a beverage. The only alternative is to operate the fridge at 5 which increases the noise levels of the fridge. Whilst some comments on here say the noise levels are not bad, I would have to disagree. The fridge is a lot louder than our main fridge, our saving grace is that it is locked away in a utility room. It could become extremely irritating if located in an open plan office or home where there is no sound barrier between you and the fridge.
That said, when operated at a temperature level of 5 the fridge does operate well and keeps refreshments cold. The storage capacity of this fridge is also a big plus, it’s much bigger than some alternatives.
In summary, I would recommend this fridge if you plan to store it in a separate room where you don’t intend to sit for long periods. If you have no choice but to be in close proximity to this fridge for prolonged periods, I would maybe try alternatives.
I was looking for a replacement for my old beer fridge that gave up after years of service. Finding a good beer/drinks fridge doesn’t seem to be as easy as the more common wine fridges that are available, but this one seemed to tick all the right boxes.
It arrived quickly and was well packaged, so off to a good start there. It was a bit smaller than my previous one but is well laid out inside, so it stores almost as much and takes up less space. It is also very quiet in operation.
Once it was up and running I found that it was actually a bit too cool! I followed the instructions and set it to the highest setting initially, and a couple of bottles of Tonic partially froze and blew the tops off! Having now set it back to a medium setting it is still very cold and no more issues with exploding bottles. The only small downside is the temperature control is inside the bottom of the fridge meaning you have to take things out to change it, but this shouldn’t be an issue once you find your ideal setting.
In summary, a very efficient drinks fridge which also looks pretty good as well. Looking forward to really testing it out at a few BBQs this summer!
best value for money, handy proportions , not too deep
It’s pretty good, the door is reversible but did not come with instructions on how to do this. I ended up slightly damaging the paintwork getting the hinge covers off and this would have been avoided with instructions. Shelves are widely spaced wire racks so beer bottles don’t stand up very well, narrower spacing between the wires would be better but that seems to be too much to ask of any manufacturer. Is not silent in operation (is any fridge?) but does vent the heat out of the sides which means that it’s Ok tight against a wall (I think!)
