Very easy to assemble, and it’s taken a few hits from my boys playing football, I needed a strong sturdy composter and this definitely does the job.
Does what it says
Larger than my Council-provided bin, at a much better price (our Council wants 78 per annum against 52.95 for this composter). No contest! It was speedily assembled with the help of a friend and is all good so far. Very pleased, but only time will tell. I listened to the gardeners who place their composter(s) on grass to allow access to worms, and I have situated it in the place of optimum sun and shelter from strong winds.
Good design and build quality
The delivery was super fast, it literally arrived on the following day I ordered it!
The assembly was very easy by clicking four walls together. At the beginning, I struggled with the lid by trying to slide each hinge from the side one by one, but I failed. Then I just put the lid on the top of the bin and pressed the hinges into places, that was it! Easy, but make sure you don’t make the same mistakes as I did.
Since the bin doesn’t have a base, so I put some bricks at the bottom to 1) prevent rodents get in; 2) hold the compost bin in windy days. I particularly like the front gate at the bottom that would give you easy access to compost. As I have been using old rain barrels as compost bin, and it was nightmare to get the compost out from the bottom of the bin, hence I decided to invest a proper compost bin. So far, it works very well, process good airflows to degrade the compost. Thanks
Useful, good quality
It’s really useful for my garden. I can put all the rubbish leaves inside. My garden looks more clean and tidy. And the quality is good. Highly recommended
