I bought this as an alternative to a cane. It's what I expected. Excellent for the price. I'm practicing with it around my home. Going out in the world with it is a future goal.

Quick set up and take dow
This walking pole comes boxed, and it is neat and portable. The pole comes broken down for easy travel and storage and comes with a storage pouch. It is very quick and easy to put it together, and take it down. Great for support when walking and useful to keep in the backpack for long walks.
Light weight but incredibly sturdy
A really good quality walking pole. With this order I received one walking pole and found it is very lightweight and incredibly easy to put together. It comes apart small enough to easily fit in my backpack and took about a minute to put together. I am very happy with this product as once assembled, it is incredibly sturdy and equally comfortable to hold.
Sturdy and lightweight. easy to disassemble
Got this for my mum. Its very good quality, lightweight and sturdy hiking stick. Length of the stick is easily adjustable. Adjustable hand wrap makes it sturdier improve its grip. Easy to disassemble, comes with storage bag. My mum been using it for 3 weeks with no problem. Value for money.

Lightweight and packs down easily
This is such a useful walking pole, not only is it lightweight but it packs down small too. The stick has a comfortable foam grip which allows for comfort when using for long periods, the lightweight pole is only 295g meaning it doesn’t feel heavy when packed down. Once packed down it fits easily into my bag.
I found it very easy to adjust the height for both myself and my husband to use. I am 5ft 3in and he is 6ft so it needed to be adjusted for easy use. This was done by using the metal flip lock which is just on the side.
The aluminum alloy allows the pole to be used in all weathers and ensures a durable finish. The stick is sturdy and provides a good support when walking.
Compact to keep in back pack
This hiking stick has a lot going for it – it feels robust but is light enough to carry around in your back pack when not in use, it folds and can be easily put together quickly, and the height can be adjusted to suit the user. I took it out on a country walk in the snow, I did drop a star for my overall rating because, whilst it was good for extra support in the snowy weather, the rubber tipped end did slip easily on any icy bits on the ground that I encountered. So it’s generally a good product that will provide you with support on country hikes, but care is needed when it comes into contact with extra slippery surfaces.
Great quality, lightweight but sturdy walking pole, easy to assemble, and put away.
If you are looking for a walking pole, this offering from Trekology might be right up your street. Arriving in a cardboard box, inside is the walking pole in a carry case, and an instruction sheet. The pole itself is folded upon arrival, but the ease of putting together is amazing.
There is a Velcro strip wrapped around the pole, and the pole itself is joined with a metal wire through the middle. The poles sections simply push into each other and are held in place with a rubber ring. You can extend the pole by releasing the quick release catch which allows further extension.
There is a rubber foot at the bottom of the pole for a little stability and to stop the pole slipping, and underneath that is a toughened carbide tip.
The handle is moulded and contoured well, with a strap for your hand to stop you dropping the pole.
The only bad thing I can say about this is that it is a single pole and its usually an idea to have a pair if you are walking. Apparently my wife and I are climbing Pen Y Fan this year (news to me) so this will be very handy. A great walking pole at a great price, Recommended

Very easy to set up and fold back down. My husband hikes and he said it is good for his height, he is 6ft1, and it seems strong and sturdy. He is impressed with the quality and will be taking it out on his next hike in a couple of weeks. I will update once he has been.
Reasonable for the price
This seems decent enough for the 15 current price. It took a bit of figuring out how to fold and unfold, although the small instruction book is relatively clear and easy to follow. And once mastered, it is quick and easy to do.
Once unfolded, the stick feels adequately stable. There is very minor flex and wobble, but not something to cause concern or annoyance on treks. The handle is sufficiently comfortable to hold.
Overall, perhaps not surprisingly, this isn’t as good as the older leading brand pole I own, and I prefer the cork handle on that pole, but that pole is much more expensive. But for around 15, this seems a decent pole that will be adequate for most treks.
Comfortable and sturdy
This is an excellent walking pole. It folds down into sections and can be stored in the pouch provided. It is simple to assemble and the sections fit together firmly. The length of the pole is adjustable and, once adjusted, it locks safely and securely in position. A comfortable grip, with wrist strap, is also very welcome. All in all, an excellent walking pole in every way providing reassurance and assistance on any walk and every just around the town without looking like a disability aid.
Good gripping power, small and lightweight too.
This walking pole was delivered quickly and in good-quality packaging. It looks very small which makes t lightweight and easy to store and carry around. However, it is obviously extendable which is good. The handle is comfortable to grip and smooth as well which I like.
It has good gripping power so it definitely does the job and helps when walking on rough ground. I really you should get a pair, but it is good value for money so I recommend it.
For the price, pretty good.
I have quite a lot of trekking poles of various qualities, and this one – towards the ‘budget’ end of the spectrum – is good for the price. The height adjusts fairly easily via the metal flip lock and the lock seems to hold pretty well – I don’t feel it’s likely to slip if I apply too much pressure to it.
It folds well, too: due to the design it isn’t permanently trying to spring back together again, so it stays folded without having to restrain it much, which is great.
It has a choice of two tips the carbide tip for a bit more grip and a cover, for flat/smooth surfaces.
I feel that this trekking pole is probably more suitable for a woman than a man, in that it’s almost ‘delicate’, and I think anyone with large hands might not find it ‘fits’ too well.
All in all, a good buy. Recommended.
Light, effective and folds away
This hiking stick is very light weight, and folds up. This means it will easily fit in a small backpack/day bag. So you’re not forced to use it all the time, and can save it for just when you feel you need it.
The length is adjustable and has a hand strap. It works both for someone tall, medium and short (once adjusted to suit).
At around 15 at time of review, I think it’s reasonable for what it is.
Foldable walking stick with bag
Pretty light at only 300g but yet robust.

The rubber tip is covering the carbide one, would be nice if more tips are included.

It is made from strong metal. I am very happy about it. The colour is very nice and beautiful. You can always use it when you need to. It is very easy to put together.
Decent compact walking pole
I’ve been using walking poles for some years now. They really do protect joints from undue wear and tear and offer stability on rough ground. Ideally you should use a pair of them. This really does seem a decent compact walking pole. Closed down it is very short and should go in quite small rucksacks. There is a velcro strap to keep everything together. Putting it up is easy enough and there is a small instruction leaflet which is easy enough to understand. There are also some sensible labels in strategic places.
I found the handle comfortable both in design and texture. I can’t see holding this for a day’s walking cause any issues. The pole is adjustable in height from 110 cm to 130 cm which is fairly normal for walking poles. There is a click lock to hold it at the required length. I do have some reservations about this aspect as it is a bit clunky. There is a knurled screw to adjust the lock. It comes with an end cap which is good for pavements/paths however you can take that off which gives you more of a spike for rough ground.
All in all I’m fairly impressed with this. It’s not too heavy and is very compact. It seems well made. You also get a bag to put it in. For the money (currently 15.99) it strikes me as good value for money. It is not as good as my normal ones however they were at least twice the price of this. Well worth considering.
Light in weight, compact and sturdy
This is a really handy hiking pole, it’s very light in weight, is nice and compact, and is pretty sturdy when in use. I found that it was very easy to adjust to the length that I need and to collapse back down. I don’t need to use a pole all of the time but this packs away so small that I can keep it in my daysack, ready for when I need ‘a bit of help. Very happy with this – recommended.
Good value, decent quality.
I gave this to my husband, who likes to go on hiking trips with his friends once a month, and he definitely has a positive disposition towards this trekking pole.
It’s as light as you’d expect aluminium poles designed for travel to be and it can be folded for ease of transport.
My husband says that this is definitely a solid product but he’s quite happy with his older poles. He liked the older pattern design better than this, however, he notes that this trekking pole was a bit cheaper.
He is still very happy with this trekking pole, he thinks it offers a better value for money.

This TREKOLOGY 1pc Hiking Stick is a good design and very sturdy. Not heavy though.
Easy to use. Just slot the lower sections together, push into the middle section and you are done. If you want to adjust the length there are two ways to do this. Grip the middle section just above where you slotted the lower section into it, there is a label to indicate where to hold it, then grip the upper part of the middle section and pull both apart until it clicks into place.
You can also change the length of the upper section by releasing the spring lock and sliding it to the desired length. Then lock it into place.
The whole thing is easy to collapse down to pack away. It comes with its own carry pouch too.
I really like this hiking stick. I just need to order another one now.
A good addition for walks
This pole comes with its own little bag and a Velcro strap attached to keep it neatly packed away when not in use. The pole extends easily with simple instructions to follow on the side of the pole. I found the handle comfortable to hold but when my partner tried it (XL glove size) it felt a little small for his hands with some of the ridges falling in awkward places in his hands, not so uncomfortable that he couldn’t use it just not as comfortable as it would be for a slightly smaller hand. Never the less a great addition to keep on your backpack to help on your walks. 4/5
Super quality - foldable and there when you need it...
I’ve been suggesting to my partner for the past couple of years that he might think about getting a hiking pole. He has for many years been a keen walker and hiker – and is now a more mature walker and hiker. He’d so far resisted using a walking pole but eventually he caved in.
And he caved in because this Trekology walking pole is collapsible and folds down neatly into its own drawstring bag – so he doesn’t need to have it on display permanently and he can just stow it in his rucksack when not in use.
The other draw? Well, this walking pole is very well made. Lightweight, it’s aluminium and it’s very adjustable. Both the length will adjust as well as the hand strap. My partner’s 6′ tall and no problem adjusting to his height.
This is a well made item and very good quality. My partner tells me he’ll only use it occasionally – but ‘it could be good as an aid to balance when walking on the hills’. I always knew he needed a walking pole. This one’s there when he needs it, packs away when he doesn’t.
