Makes sterilising easy
The dry function is amazing, I wash my bottles and breast pump parts and then dry them off in the steriliser, followed by a UV sterilising cycle.
The unit itself is extremely useful and makes cleaning and sanitation of baby equipment very easy!
This made such a huge difference to our lives, compared to a steam serialiser! So great to take items out dry and sterilised! And no mess! No need to descale! The only drawback is that items with lots of crevices (e.g. pumping equipment) may be better off sterilised in a steam steriliser, as the UV one can only do one surface at a time.

On the pricier end when it comes to sterilising but so convenient- able to go from wet to dry & sterilised in 29 mins. Would recommend for parents wanting to save time and effort!

was working great but less than a year of use UV function stopped working.
Edit: I registered the device under the warranty, I emailed the company and they were very quick to respond and a replacement unit is on the way.
So simple to set up and use and looks pretty good on the kitchen top. Also it’s not too big so doesn’t take up too much valuable space in my small kitchen.
Doesn’t hold too many bottles at a time (we manage to fit 3-4) but as I’m breastfeeding it’s not an issue. Can also fit my breast pump and a bottle in together easy enough which is what I got it for.
It’s really easy to use and clean too so overall really happy with it, no messy water leakages or problems with limescale due to our hard wate
I have been using it for nearly 2 months and absolutely love it.
I bought this sterilizer in november and it stopped working already. It no longer dries the bottles and i am concerned that it no longer sterilizes effectively anymore either.
They replaced it quickly and it works well
Amazing product just given 4 stars as am not very sure that is it actually sterlizings the bottles or not as its uv light you just have to trust that it is doing what its meant to do.
Great alternative to a steam steriliser, no need to worry about plastic bottle discolouration.
This is great alternative to steam sterilisers. One of my main issues with steam sterilisers is the high heat of the steam starts to disclosure certain plastic such as clear baby bottles after a while so UV sterilisers like this one avoid that issue completely. It’s also faster and doesn’t require you to add any water or descale it. There are many benefits so bare that in mind if the higher price puts you off. Just for reference, this does not clean, it’s sterilises. Anything you put in this should already be washed, this is the same for steam sterilisers, you would wash stuff first but some people do get confused.
We hasn’t actually started using this yet as baba is still cooking but decided we wanted to prepare ourself a bit better with this pregnancy then previous ones by slowly getting items we need instead of leaving it to last minute.
I swear by a bottle steriliser as I believe every parent should owe one and I always buy new instead of recycle previous ones.
This isn’t a brand I would normally go for (Vital Baby) but thought last baba so let’s see what else is available on the market.
With a retail price of 109.99, a bit more then my normal brand I use as it don’t come with any additional items like bottles, dummies etc.
Reading the description and the box it sounds like Sterilisers have improved since I last bought my one around 4 years ago.
It’s a advanced Pro UV steriliser & dryer which will kill 99.9% of all germs in 7 minutes – this all ready sounds amazing as I’m feeling more nervous especially with covid and other germs around at the moment.
This is a 3 in 1 unit which provides you to sterilise items like bottles, toys and mainly any thing even phones ? ? (not 100% sure how that all works but would be a bit nervous to put my phone in) It also drys and can be used to store items.
It’s slightly larger compared to other brands I have used before but it’s a lot better looking so will fit prefect in my new kitchen.
Looking at the manual booklet there are many functions to be used but it looks quite easy to use – time will tell and I will update my review once the sleepless nights sets in.
Comes complete with a internal basket which I really like and seems the prefect addition to parents.

I can only say that the first feeling of arrival: great value! The disinfection cabinet is very high-end! The material is very good, UV disinfection! After reading the manual carefully, I feel that I have gained knowledge again! Black is good-looking!

Best thing we purchased
Vital Baby Nurture Advanced pro UV steriliser & Dryer is the best thing we could have purchased.
Having used just a steriliser before we had soaking wet bottle etc and you had to dry them before use whilst rocking the baby. Now when I get the bottles out they are ready to use thanks to the drying option and there is no mess at all.
Super easy to use at a click of a button we have fresh and safe bottles for our baby and I don’t have to worry about anything as this machine is looking after us. Never failed me so far. Excellent design and ease of use. No faffing around just press the button and voila it’s ready.
Easy to clean it takes me around 3 minutes to make sure I’ve cleaned the inside out even though it’s a steriliser itself it still needs a clean.
Excellent value for money I will be getting this one for my best friend in few months as her baby is due.
Expensive...but worth it - i think!
At the time of this review this UV steriliser & Dryer is 139.99. Now im not going to lie, this is expensive, but you’re paying for convenience, safety and time.
It takes up roughly the same amount of space as a big toaster or an airfryer. It also looks the part on the kitchen counter and isnt a huge ugly thing.
It also contains a basket at the top on one side for smaller things.
It works in as little as 7 minutes for sterilisation or 29 minutes for sterilisation and dry.
This is the part of the description that got me thinking it was totally worth the money – ‘HEPA filtration HEPA filter effortlessly removes dust, pollen & airborne pollutants and particles as small as PM2.5 (that’s about 3% of the diameter of a human hair!)’ sometimes you just cant put a price on safety.
If you have the money and space available this is definitely something i would consider, for peace of mind.

Efficient and compac
This is such an upgrade from my previous one. This actually fits quite a few bottles in it at a time and also a range of sizes. You do need to rinse the bottles first before putting them in and then it only takes around 30 minutes to sterilise and dry them so you can use them as soon as they are finished.
You can also use it to sterilise toys, soothers, breast pumps, keys, phones etc. so I am sure you can use this after the need for baby bottles which is great.
It also has a ‘Store” mode where it sterilises and drys the items inside and them keeps the contents clean for three days by periodically scanning and eliminating bacteria every hour.
It doesn’t take up too much space, and doesn’t look horrible out on the counter.
Overall, we are very pleased with it!
Convenient and easy to use!
Wow! This is perhaps the best baby bottle steriliser on the market at this price range. Let’s start with convenience, something I’m sure all mothers (especially the new) would like more of!
The compact design of this Vital Baby Nurture Advance Pro steriliser (& dryer) facilitates large trays that can hold several bottles at a time, I was able to put 4 at a time which is great as you practically only need to sterilise 2-3 times a week. More importantly, there is a tray compartment for all of your bottle caps so you can be rest assured these can be sterilised at the same time. You can even sterilise your child’s toys, their toothbrush and more!
Another fantastic feature is the time consumption. Depending on the setting you chose, it will take only 29 minutes to fully sterilise all of your bottles, and not to mention dry them. This means no more drying prior to sterilisation and no potential contamination of the bottles.
The machine is very easy to operate, especially thanks to the clear instructions included with the product. Thanks to the compact design of this product, it can be easily stored away when not in use without taking up much space, perfect option for those like myself who live in a compact flat/living space. I would say that it is about the same space as my 4 slice toaster (excluding height) and I love that it is practically identical in design too!
Another point I’ll make is after sterilising/drying, there were no unpleasant odours on the bottles. Though I would recommend leaving the lid open when not in use to allow it to breathe a little.

Vital baby nuture pro steamer does exactly what you need, it has a couple of different settings but they are easy to use and set up. It even has an auto mode that saves you so much time. When you add the UV as well, that’s a great option, not so great if you have latex teats, but overall very nice.

A blessing to have with a baby!!
I haven’t used a dry UV sterilizer before. And honestly I was a bit pessimistic about the idea of cleaning without water. But once I started using it. I figured that it was pretty useful and effective. And more than bottles, I now use this UV sterilizer for my baby’s toy and rattle set. It guarantees to kill 99.99% bacteria and viruses. So, now I can actually trust this sterilizer safely. And the best thing is that it takes minimum of just 7 minutes!! And it can be used for any baby item including breast pumps too. it is definitely a little new technology and requires a bit of acceptance. But once you embrace it. It just makes your life so much easier.

It is brilliant and quick. the fact that no liquids are necessary and the items can be used straight away after a quick cycle is amazing. The capacity of the sterilizer to enable us to clean all of our bottles in one cycle is also a big plus

Great for new borns
This is a really smart looking piece of baby kit.
It is quick and simple to sterilise bottles but you can also take the larger section off and keep the smaller unit on the side for sterilising dummies and other bits throughout the day.
I have used it on all cycles but love the Auto Cycle as it sterilises, dries and keeps the stuff inside sterile for 24 hours.
Great to switch on when you go to bed and it’s all ready for the next morning.

Sterlize fir 7 minute then dry in 17 minutes. Just shake off excess water before you put them in. This UV light sterliser is well designed. I appreciate the thoughtfulness that went in to making it. It has the capacity to hold it and it takes no time at all. Extremely pleased. The fact that it offers a drying feature in addition to the UV light is really nice. Highly recommended.
Rapid, multi-purpose disinfection without liquid
This UV-C light based steriliser is a really good and practical thing. The steriliser is quite big — approximately 24cm high and 26cm wide — no bad thing if you’re using this for baby paraphernalia as small people get through an astonishing amount of items!
This is a clever device that can be used either to dry and then sterilise items that have just been hand washed/put through the dishwasher (but are not perfectly dry), for sterilisation only, or (because it’s a sealed unit) for longer dry/sterilise/store cycles of up to 3 days. The inside of this is mostly one large space, with a little metal basket for smaller items that attaches on the left hand side. There are 6 little lights in the inside of the lid and the unit is entirely lined with reflective metal. The metal on the sides is smooth, but on the lid has a pattern of pyramids, and on the base a pattern of ridges to help ensure maximum light refraction. There are vents for air flow (for drying cycles) built in to the inside of the lid and side of the unit.
The unit as a whole is very simple looking — a shiny black plastic ridged cuboid with rounded corners. The top is inset with a smooth grey plastic panel. This shows fingerprint smudges really easily. The controls are all on this top panel. Each function has its own icon button, and you can see when one has been selected by a lighted circle surrounding the icon. There is also a beep when each button is pressed. The lights on selected functions are quite subtle, a pale halo of illumination around the selected mode.
The steriliser is not just useful for baby care basics, such as bottles, teethers, either: the dry, light-based sterilisation functioning of this opens up the range of item types that can be sterilised to include electronics and improves sequencing on soft items — which previously could at best be sterilised and then dried.
We’re not using this because there is a young baby in the family, but because we’re a multigenerational family that includes older, vulnerable people, and a chronic asthmatic for whom the combination of pandemic and seasonal flu represent serious risks combined with a family member who needs hospital treatment. I had previously been wiping the surfaces of everything down with disinfectant or alcohol gel — but I’m much happier light treating things such as phones, Kindles, electronic car keys, and bank cards: I had been really concerned that the gel could be causing damage to circuitry/building up residue. And as a useful bonus, I have found that this steriliser is large enough to be able to accommodate metal collared Kilner jars I can’t disinfect in the microwave.
Dried and sterilised items in 29minutes
This is the new and modern way to sterilise the baby bottles without steam and water. This method kills 99.99% viruses and bacterial without using high heat which is beneficial for many reasons: will not cause any damage on the bottles and it’s more energy efficient. The steriliser looks like a mini travel fridge, fist perfectly on my kitchen countertop without taking too much space. The design is simple and modern featured with a timer display and a few touches sensitive buttons for each function.
The Four functions are:
1. Sterilise — sterilise all your baby feeding accessories using UV light
2. Dry — it takes 17 minutes to dry bottles and other feeding equipment
3. Auto mode — it takes 29 minutes – dries cleaned bottles then switches to sterilising cycle
4. Storage mode — emits UV light to keep contents sterile for up to days.
The inner capacity is reasonably big I can fit 3-4 bottle at the same time or 1-2 bottles along with some feeding bowls and plastic cutleries. There is a stainless steel shelve for smaller items which adds more capacity to this box. Also, the product is super easy to use, just set the preferred mode, close the door, and everything will be cleaned and disinfected from any bacterial. If you have a concern about the danger of using UV it’s good to know that is safe for home use, the machine/uv light will be switched off if the door is opened during sanitising to protect users from harmful uv lights.
Maybe a little bit price (139.99 at the time of this review been written) especially for this small capacity but if the price will drop below 100 it’s definitely worth to buy.
quick and safe clea
It’s really impressed with how simple this is and almost seems too good to be true.Saves me wiping down goods. No more boiling bottles, it’s very practical and doesn’t take too much space on our kitchen counter either. Also easy to pack up and take out with you if needed and sterilises so quick and know they are safe and clean again.
Looks great, works quickly, no water and no worries
One of the most frustrating and time consuming parts of bottle feeding baby is the constant washing, drying and sterilising of bottles, not to mention dummies and teethers for in between feeds. This vital baby steriliser solves this problem in a stylish, fast and space saving way. The worry that bottles aren’t totally clean and safe for baby is now gone.
It arrived boxed and wrapped in plastic. It’s surprisingly lightweight, with a black, glossy finish on the outside. Inside is deceptively large with a tray for lids and smaller items at the top. The steriliser can fit 4 bottles in at a time. My favourite parts about this steriliser, bar the look of it, is the fact that everything is dried and sterile within 29 minutes and it doesn’t use water, so no scorching myself on it like I have with the steam or microwave sterilisers.
I can also use it to sterilise other items in just 7 minutes. The price may seem a little frightening, but it’s definitely worth it if it’s in your budget. The time it saves and the diminished worry is what I think would make it worthwhile.
great toy cleane
I have used this for kids toys & dog toys, my youngest nephew likes to put the dogs toys in his mouth to play with the dogs (don’t ask) so now I use this to clean the toys so they are clean/safe for him to play with, I then have to use for his toys he likes to share those with the dogs also.
This is high end and stepping into the future
Fast is an under statement. This thing is giga watts ahead of the game. How far the UV light game has now gotten. We had an old sterilizer which truthfully speaking had nothing wrong with it and it did the job for our 1st born. Yes it did take 15+ minutes but we just filled that time. This new one is such a game changer. We literally set it change a nappy, bin the nappy and wash our hands and by the time we are done its done. Whats better than that is you can use it right away not having to dry it. This is seriously fantastic and worth every penny. Finally, a multi purpose device that we can use for sterilizing pretty much anything. The future of cleaning.
I honestly think this is a glimpse of the future of cleaning/ sterilisating baby equipment.
It is a simple operation which works without chemicals, steeping bottles, boiling boils or any of the old traditional ways of sterilising.
It fits all bottles, works quickly and efficiently and can be used to store the clean and sterile bottles in.
The old downside is that latex items like dummies or teats will degrade in the uv light so it is recommended to clean and then sterilise them in another manner, be that steam/ chemical or microwave.
I love that there’s no chemical smell, no hanging around waiting for them and that things can be left in here to store.
Makes life so much easier and a great size for the kitchen worktop
This makes life so much easier, it fitted around four bottles in and even fitted breast pump in there too. THe bottles were both smaller and the larger 240ml sizes. It is such a quick cycle at only 30 minutes to both sterlise and dry, this is much easier than other models that i have used. You have three different functions of sterilise, dry and store which is a great last option. It is very easy to use and comes with the manual as needed
Great size for kitchen worktop. not too big or small but around the size of other kitchen appliances. The look of the UV steriliser also fits in well with the kitchen and doesn’t look out of place.
It did come with my address label on the box so ensure you click gift option if you do not want this. Other than that it is very high quality and i don’t have any issues
Great UV steriliser also good for sterilising non-baby items.
This UV steriliser is so easy to use, much better than my original method of just chucking all my babies bottles and teeth in a pan of boiling water. The device is rather large, it’s another kitchen machine on your worktop but while your baby is little and still drinking from a bottle it’s totally worth the space it takes up.
This device doesn’t clean your bottles, so you have to give them a good clean first but once washed you just put them in while still wet. The steriliser will then either sterilise or dry the items for you. Or you can click auto-mode, this will dry, sterilise and then go into ‘store’ mode to keep the items sterile for 72 hours.
Cool thing is, that this isn’t just useful for baby items. I was making some Kombucha the other day and I used this steriliser to sterilize the small glass bottles to avoid the drink getting spoiled. I also used it to sterilize some jam jars when I was making homemade jam. So, yes it’s a big investment but it makes life with a baby easier and it can also come in handy for sterilising other things.

This is a baby bottle steriliser that is not like the others available. This one sterilises products using UV light. There is no water involved. This steriliser will sterilise within 7 minutes and dry in 17 minutes. It can do both in 29 minutes.
It is highly energy efficient and is versatile. It can be used for baby bottles, dummies, breast pumps etc. You can put plastics, glass bottles and silicone inside this steriliser.
It seems competitive on price when compared to other sterilisers. Overall, I am happy with this product and will be perfect for me to clean my babies bottles with.

Was excited to use this UV light steriliser, at last technology has caught up with baby care.
Technology is amazing, just uses UV light to sterilse the bottles, teats, and dummies no need for water and steam. Bottles don’t come out of steriliser boiling hot or wet they come out ready to use.
Super fast as well, has four different modes. You can just sterilise bottles and cycle takes 7mins to complete but I use auto mode which dry clean bottles then sterilisers bottles and this full cycle takes 29mins.
Only issue I have is you can only clean 4 bottles during on cycle, it would be good if they did an extra large option that could fit in 2 more bottles.
Overall, amazing product which will change the industry in how we all sterilise our bottles. Game changer.

I absolutely love this steriliser. It has ample space that can fit four big bottles and a tray to hold all the loose bits such as teats and caps, all very well laid out.
The steriliser does four modes
1. 29mins full cycle drying and sterilising
2. 17mins drying only
3. 7mins sterilising
4. Storage mode for 72hours, it does the full cycle of drying and sterilising and then a 1min sterilising every 1 hour
It is worth noting that you are supposed to wash the items first, shake off any excessive water but not supposed to put any soaking wet items in.
This steriliser is not just for bottles but it can do almost anything that fits in, such as phones, keys or small toys, which is really handy. It does say on the instruction no latex material as it may disintegrate. Some items where the light cannot be reach on one side will need to flip it and repeat the sterilising cycle for a complete protection.
In comparison to handheld UV light, all the UV light here is contained in the box and out of sight, which is a lot safer, no chance of it exposing to skin or eyes which may cause damages.
The build-quality of this steriliser is top top notch. The hinge and the locking latch and release all feel top quality.
It has an inlet vent on top of the box where you will need to leave it uncovered. There is a HEPA filter at the back which can easily be replaced.
Overall, this steriliser is simple to use, well-built and giving me the peace of mind in need in the current situation, I do recommend this product!
Wish I had one of these before
I’ve always used microwave sterilisers for my previous babies so I was really excited to try this UV steriliser by Vital Baby. Takes up little space on the kitchen worktop and the outside is plastic so easy to wipe clean. No water or sterilising tablets are needed either!
Large enough for 6 bottles plus there’s a rack for teats and dummies to sit on. I love how there’s no heat so bottles are ready to be removed and used instantly. If you’re happy for the bottles to be wet still then the sterilise program only takes 7 minutes. To include the drying after then it’s 17 minutes.
Very easy to use and the lid has touch tontrol buttons on top to select the function you’d like to use. Sterilised bottles can be stored for up to 3 days. I find this fab as I put this on at night and then they’re still clean in the morning.
I’ve read that other branded UV sterilisers can stain bottles but I’ve not experienced this problem at all.
Can also be used for toys.
Simple principle - Hepa filtered air for drying - Use as a sterile storage
This is literally a godsend especially as we are living in the pandemic times. We have traditionally used a steam steriliser for all the babies things which is great at doing its job and when you are preparing fresh water for bottles et cetera, must be emptied once the program is complete to avoid any contamination to all the contents. This clever UV bottle steriliser simply uses uses light reflected from the diamond walls inside and mean you can simply wash and rinse your bottles in the sink, shake out, but in and using the filtered air drain program combined with there UV light, you will be left with clean, dry, sterile bottles that can remain within the container until you need them. You can put anything you want in there to sterilise within reason, including mobile phones etc. Really simple and easy to use and a lot less messing overall than the steam equivalents.

Really impressed with this baby bottle steriliser. It’s amazing!!! Have used branded ones in the past and hands down this has got to be the best one I’ve ever used.

At 129.99 yes it’s very expensive however it’s such a great investment and saves so much time. Highly recommended.

No chemicals, heat, or water required yet eliminates 99.99% bacteria in less than 7 minutes.
The device is compact, simple to use, and efficiently sterilises to medical standards. Comfortably fits four 150ml or 240ml Vital Baby Nurture feeding bottles or other wide neck bottles of a similar size. The Vital Baby Flexcone manual and electric breast pumps will also fit inside the steriliser. For reference, the internal dimensions are: 23cm x 18cm x 16cm (approx.) and the recommended bottle height to allow adequate clearance is 15cm.
Please be aware that latex products are incompatible with all ultraviolet sterilisation methods. All forms of ultraviolet light, including natural sunlight, will cause latex to degrade, so latex teats will need to be removed and sterilised separately according to the teat manufacturers instructions.
A good quality unit that works brilliantly and is such a time saver over older methods!
The steriliser arrived safely, and it comes well packaged inside a nicely illustrated retail box.
The overall quality of the unit is very good, everything feels durable and well put together. The unit is good size, taking about the same amount of space as a double toaster. Its big enough to fit four 240ml bottles at the same time, of course you can put many other different items inside it like keys, mobile phone, breast pumps, etc.
The machine has four different operating modes; a sterilising mode which takes only seven minutes to complete the process, a dry mode which completes the drying process in 17 minutes and uses the HEPA filter to trap dust, mould, bacteria and virus particles as small as PM2.5, auto mode which performs a drying cycle before sterilising the items taking around 29 minutes, and finally a store mode completes a full 29-minute sterilising and drying cycle, and then activates the bacteria killing UV LED’s for 1 minute, every hour, for up to 3 days.
When operating the unit is very quiet and it features a removable stainless-steel basket to put smaller items inside. A device like this is such a time saver compared with methods of old, there are no liquids or tablets to use, and the process is much simpler and easier to perform.
Overall, I think this is an excellent steriliser and a worthy upgrade over the old model. It looks nice and modern, and I’m pleased with the general quality of it. I feel it represents good value for money for what you are getting I’m sure anyone that wants a steriliser will be very happy with this new model. I’m more than happy to recommend this item and I feel it’s worth the full five stars!
Speedy sterilise and dry
Great steriliser, my favourite out of the five I’ve had. It shaves nearly 15 minutes off a standard sterilise and dry program (always handy). Your bottles are dried first and then zapped with UV but if you’re needing a bottle ASAP you can hand dry and then sterilise in 4 minutes, great for when you’re caught short. There is also a store program so you can keep your bottles in the steriliser and it will regularly dose them with UV, personally I just hit sterilise when I needed a bottle as 4 minutes isn’t a long time.
The unit looks smart and can be put on the worktop under upper cupboards. It’s very easy to clean. Top marks for this steriliser.
Not just for bottles
Comes really well packaged. The machine is mainly grey in colour with a control panel on the top. The machine is quite big, bigger than our electric steriliser, but not overly big for the kitchen worktop. It’s really easy to set up and use. Wash your bottles, teats and dummies in warm soapy water, rinse and drain before putting them in the machine. Selected the function you want. Theres 4 modes to choose from. Auto mode; 29 minutes which dries and then sterilise. Sterilise only mode; only 7 minutes where you can sterilise everything from bottles, dummies, toys and every keys and remotes. Dry mode; 17 minute drying cycle for use after you’ve washed and cleaned the bottles before you sterilise. Store mode; 72 hour store cycle, dries and sterilises and then keeps sterilising for 1 minute every hour for 3 days. The uv leds are all installed ready to give, this has up to a 20000 hour life span. The machine safety destroys 99.99% of bacteria without any heat, steam or harsh chemicals. The maintenance is pretty minimal, no topping up with water or constantly descaling, it’s just as simple as wiping down. The display screen is clearly visible. A button on the front to open the lid. The buttons are touchscreen and respond instantly when pressed. Although it takes longer than standard steam sterilisation, 29 minutes drying and sterilising is really good and like you can use the store mode and it keeps sterilising. You can use for any brand of bottles and it even has a little tray for dummies and smaller items. It is a really impressive machine and is easy and straightforward to use. Really quite roomy inside, you’re able to fit quite abit in. Really love this, weve switched to using uv for bottles now.
This is a very nicely designed steriliser that not only looks great on the kitchen counter but has fantastic features for keeping things clean and sterile as well as being super easy to use.
Pushing the large easy access button on the front opens the compartment lid where you will find the main container. This features an extremely mirrored inner to reflect the UV rays around. The container is large enough for multiple items and has a removable metal rack for smaller items such as bottle teats and lids.
I love the top clear control panel and touch buttons as well as the fact that after selecting your desired program, the number of minutes appears in the grey lid, clearly indicating how much time is left.
The included instructions are nice and clear and the four different modes give a good level of versatility to the steriliser. It is also reasonably quiet in operation. The air drying being the noisiest and the UV function silent as you would expect.
There is a safety function where if the lid is opened then the chosen program, including the potentially dangerous UV function, stops immediately so there is no chance of accidental eye damage from the UV rays.
Please note that you will need to change the HEPA filter that is a part of the steriliser every 6 months and this is located at the bottom of the unit (see photos). The instructions say that they are available to purchase from the Vital Baby website but I couldn’t find them there or listed to buy on Amazon so I feel this could be a point of concern in the future. They also don’t list the part number for the HEPA filter. So that is my only (potentially major) issue with the unit and is why I’ve given it only 4 stars at this time.
If however when you are reading this review Vital Baby have compatible replacement HEPA filters for sale, then you can count this as a worthy 5 star, quality steriliser. Throw in the added benefit that it can also be used to sterilise non-baby equipment via UV such as phones, headphones etc, and it now has a potentially longer useful life than the more traditional steam sterilisers (which are only really useful whilst bottle feeding).
Very good, much quicker and easier to sterilise a lot of baby stuff
We’ve been impressed using this, we have 4 young kids and used a few different sterilisers and this is easily the quickest and easiest to use.
The box isn’t overpowering on the kitchen worktop and it looks smart.
It’s well made with a solid lid and catch, the 7 minute timer is the same as when we sterilise 5 bottles in the microwave but you don’t have to let them cool down with this as they are too hot to touch with boiling water in the microwave as this comes out ready to use.
It’s quiet and the brilliant thing is when it keeps them sterilised for a few days when they are left in.
Also you can pop anything in to sterilise so dummy’s and teething toys can go in too.
Much better way of doing it.
Antibacterial cleaning on steroids - not just for babies but much much more
In these pandemic days, having a baby can be quite worrying ensuring that infection-control to ensure baby safety, so investing in a steriliser that can give you ultimate peace of mind is a good investment from my viewpoint. During this pandemic I’ve known mums with Covid and babies born prematurely because of that, so investing in this vital baby advanced pro baby bottle steriliser, although expensive, is money well spent. And of course it can also sterilise many other household and personal items, which is very handy at the best of times, but during this Covid pandemic is even more useful.
The unit has three modes for different uses, with the superfast UV light seven minute function, being quite amazing. It’s also great for sterilising medical equipment and the HEPA filter is ideal for removing allergens, so if you or your child has severe allergies then this machine can help keep those at bay too. In use you can 1) use as a UV steriliser for any piece of equipment that fits inside the large unit, 2) you cam wash bottles/equipment and the unit can dry and sterilise them, 3) sterilise and store mode, which dries and sterilises then stores the content with blasts of UV every hour for up to three days to keep the contents sterilised and ready to use when needed.
So fabulous piece of kit, that’s not just for babies. It has excellent build quality and well worth the investment from my viewpoint for any household.
I have ordered this bottle steriliser after one friend of mine recommended me to get one, saying that it will make my life easier and surely it did.
I am happy to see how useful it is and how easy and straightforward to use. Chemical free cleaning and drying while I can do other chores at home.
Having four straightforward functions it’s super easy to use so no worries about that.
I personally prefer the Sterilise and dry function which takes roughly half an hour but at least then I can rest assured that my baby’s bottles were cleaned and dried thoroughly.
The whole unit it’s quite large but overall compact and I do believe that it is totally worth the extra space needed.
I highly recommend getting one of these.
I had a steam steriliser in the house, after having this one, I don’t want to go back to the steam one anymore. The ultraviolet light is definitely more effective when it comes to sterilisation. The space is enough for sterilising six baby bottles at the same time, and I love the design that I can put baby teats and soothers separately in the small basket. The sterilise is super fast, just simply click the button and it can be done in seven mins. It has four modes, including sterilise, dry, auto and store. I normally only use the sterilise mode for baby bottles, and it’s brilliant. When my baby gets older and starts to play with some toys, I will choose the steriliser and dry mode. The best part is that this steriliser is not only designed for baby, but also for mom’s stuff like some small accessories.
I love this! Has definitely made sanitizing the bottles much easier. You must wash my bottles before placing them in the bottle sterilizer. It fits bottles and am able to fit the parts from bottles into it. I also place pacifiers. Very easy to use.
fits almost all bottle types. It only takes about 7 mins for it to run the entire sterilization process. I love how I don’t have to boil bottles and all the pieces anymore. You can literally dry and sanitize almost ANYTHING in a short time. It’s a bit bulky, but you can fit many things in one go. It’s also quite a sleek look so it’s not an eyesore wherever you place it. This makes life with a bottle fed newborn so much easier

Vital Baby Advanced Pro UV 3 in 1 Baby Bottle Steriliser
Baby bottle sterilisers have certainly come a long way over the past few years, gone are the days of bottles floating in a tank full of water, mixed with sterilising liquid or tablets. It is so much easier these days with sterilising units like this.
The bottle steriliser is quite large, similar in looks and size to a deep fat fryer. The outside is made from attractive looking white plastic that has ribs running from top to bottom giving this a stylish appearance. On the front is a large button which when pressed releases the lock, allowing the lid to gently rise a few inches. On top is a grey glass like surface that has five touch sensitive buttons, just touch the appropriate symbol to activate it. The available buttons are: Auto mode, Dry mode, Sterilise mode, Store mode and Power.
Inside of the steriliser is made from super shiny stainless steel, this is mirror like in appearance. This shiny surface allows the UV light to be reflected to reach all corners of what’s inside being sterilised. On one side is a lift out stainless steel basket, this can be used to place smaller items like teats and bottle caps inside, with the bottles being placed in the larger storage area.
This has 3 different functions: Sterilise, Dry and Store. The bottles should be clean before placing in the unit as it will only sterilise, it will not clean. Sterilisation can be carried out quite quickly as it’s claimed all that is needed is just 7 minutes. Drying is carried out after washing and before sterilising, this will take around 17 minutes. Store mode will keep the contents sterile for 72 hours, after that time you will need to run the sterilising process again. The ‘Auto’ mode will carry out all 3 functions, one after the other. Just clean the bottles, arrange them within the unit and press Auto. The unit will first dry the bottles, then sterilise and then proceed on to the store mode. So essentially, ‘Auto’ is a set and forget mode that prepares the bottles for you and keeps them fresh, ready for use up to 72 hours.
The build quality of this steriliser is high, it looks good and appears to do a great job. Plus, it is so easy to use!

This Baby Bottle steriliser, dryer and storage is amazing.
I had seen my neighbours different branded one and they said it really makes bottle prep so much easier and its very quick, so I had a look around and decided to give this one a go. ITs a lovely little compact unit and worktop space wise it’s about the same footprint as my 4-slice toaster so not too big and fine to be left out on the side to not only clean the bottle but also to store them in as well.
I love the look of it as well, it’s nice to have a good looking cleaner on the side and it only take 30mins for a clean and dry cycle, I do recommend just opening the lid for a little while once the cycle has finished to allow it to breathe before you then might just leave the bottle in there for storage.
Overall, it isn’t cheap at 129.99 currently but oh my god the amount of time it saves you when cleaning bottles etc its worth every penny and I think better than some of the more commonly known brands. Love it!
My sister in law owns a version of this steriliser, and I assume that this model is the updated version of that one.
This steriliser is better looking than the old one, and comes with better, faster functions too.
There are four operating modes:- Sterilise Mode, where the UV LED light sterilises in just seven minutes, Dry Mode, which completes the drying process in 17 minutes, and the built in HEPA filter removes minute particles of dust, bacteria etc, Auto Mode that dries the bottles, and then automatically starts the sterilisation process, and Store Mode, which completes the dry and sterilisation process, and then activates the UV sterilising lights for 60 seconds every hour, for up to three days, so you can keep things in the steriliser, knowing they are being kept absolutely clean for when you need to use them.
The unit is small enough to sit on a small area of a kitchen worksurface, and is very quiet.
Basically you can use this to sterilise anything you like, from bottles, to bowls, cutlery, cups, and even mobile phones, or other items that get contaminated through daily use. If it fits inside, you can sterilise it.
It’s a brilliant little appliance for any mother with a baby, and reasonably priced too. My sister in law says she wishes she had waited for this new model, as she only purchased hers a few weeks ago.
You don’t need any sterilising fluid, just wash out your bottles (or other items), and then leave this machine to dry and sterilise them.
The UV LED’s should last around 20,000 hours, so if looked after, this product should allow a new mum to use it for many years. It saves so much time, and it is really reassuring to know that anything that comes out of it, and comes into contact with baby, is as clean as it possibly can be. It’s so simple to use the touchscreen, and I highly recommend this steriliser.
