This cable works great. It is super long, I mean, really long, which is awesome. You can leave it connected to your virtual reality unit while you are playing. I have done so and it did not bother me at all. It charges my quest 2 super fast. No issue with it at this time.

A must for Quest 2 users on the go
My son tends to get rather active wgen using the Quest 2 so this long cable is ideal for long sessions on the VR. Sturdy and with both USB-C and normal USB plugs on one end, this is great to use with the PC.

This can be a long distance charger and also you can use it to connect to a pc and power at the same time. This can enable PC VR gaming and more with your Meta Quest.
Charges Quest 2 Well
Great solution for charging a Meta Quest 2 if your PC lacks USB-C PD ports. I tried a large number of cables and PCIe USB add-on cards before finding this the best option.
Keeps Quest 2 charged above 80% even during sustained play with PCVR games (in my case Elite Dangerous at high graphics settings, HMD x1.75, 90Hz refresh rate, RTX 3070ti). A standard USB 3.1 Gen 1 port will only provide 896mA while the Quest 2 needs at least 2000mA to keep up.
Link speed was 2.4gbps as measured by Oculus app. Video was smooth with no stuttering or artifacts.
It is extremely important to test your USB-C charger to see how well it works with this cable. I did it by shutting down the headset completely and measuring the charge using different USB-C chargers connected to the cable with the USB-A end connected to the PC.
Original Meta Quest 10W USB-C charger (P/N AN10A-050P) @5V/2A: ~12%/15 min
Apple iPhone 20W USB-C charger (P/N A2305) @5V/3A: ~7%/15min
Anker 32W PD USB-C charger (P/N A2625) @5V/3A: ~7%/15 min
Surprisingly the original Quest 2 charger worked the best with this cable, even though the other chargers worked well for fast charging iPhones and were rated for higher amps.
A few other notes since there aren’t any instructions with the cable:
1) Plug in both USB connectors on the PC and charger before connecting the headset side.
2) Plug the USB-A cable into a square blue (or red) USB 3.0 (or higher) port, avoid using front ports as they often don’t provide enough charge and are sometimes lower speeds due to the extra cabling involved.
3) Plug the USB-C cable into a high quality USB-C charger.
4) Charging still works if the is PC sleeping/off as long as USB-C charger is connected and powered.
5) Best to charge your Quest 2 to 100% before attempting to use this cable for playing.
Ultimately this tuned out to be the best solution for charging the Quest 2 while playing versus adding a USB-C PCIe card. My motherboard lacked a PCIe x4 slot which is required for the StarTech PCIe USB 3.1 card (PEXUSB312C3) that is highly recommended and none of the PCIe 1x card options available provide power delivery.
Very expensive lead however it's very good quality!
I feel like the price is a little steep however everything for the oculus is! It is a good quality lead with an extreme amount of length. You can use it for the oculus but also as a charging lead for other devices such as your phone too and you can input power through both type c and USB. The connections seem tight fitting and inputs power without any issues. It’s a nice thick lead, for the price it would be nice if it was a braided cable but it still seems good enough quality that I don’t expect it to break any time soon. Its a fast charging lead too which is quite important with the oculus. I also like the right angled plug as that puts less pressure on charging sockets. Quick, responsive and good quality.

Good cable with a quality feel. Works like it should. Also use it to charge my PS5 controller. The 16ft length is useful when your on the couch and the controller needs to be charged. The rectangular box has a small light that lights up when the cable is plugged in an receiving power. Cable was packaged nicely in a thin box when it arrived.

Just Ok
The length is enough for the intended purpose. The connection speed is great, better than expected actually. No latency in direct connection. It really came in handy when virtual desktop would not work because my internet provider was slacking for the past two days so far.
It somewhat charges the headset while playing. Not enough to keep it going though, there’s enough power going through it to provide enough time for a very satisfying amount of playtime while having more juice left over.

Although this cable can be used in conjunction with a PC in Link mode, I have been using mine just as a power extender for my Quest 2 and it’s been great.
I always have my battery fully charged anyway, so I’m not sure if it loses much charge when on long play sessions using the cable. However, for long play sessions, you really cant go wrong with this cable.

This is a link cable with great design, and nice colour, while proving a very useful accessory for my son’s Meta Quest 2.

The cable could provide enough power which keeps the battery at 80% while playing VR games. Plus, it has a transmission speed of up to 2.9 Gbps. Meanwhile, the length of the cable reaches up to 16 ft and has a 90 connector that seamlessly merges with the headset.
My son is currently enjoying new games on his Meta Quest 2 and has been playing on it for hours. The cable appears solid and well-made. The white colour also perfectly matches the overall design of the Meta Quest 2. More importantly, it performs well and I did not notice any lag or delay while using it.
Overall, this link cable shows an above-average performance in my opinion. It keeps my son’s Meta Quest 2 sufficiently charged and allows him to play for an extended period of time.

It’s worth noting that this needs a USB-C and a USB-A connection to your computer, so you may need an adapter.

This is absolutely needed if u play rift games or don’t want to worry about battery life when playing.
Used it plugged into the PC – and worked as it should.
It’s literally just plug and play, and play to ur hearts content without worrying about battery life.
Cables seem decent quality and like the will last.
And 5m is plenty of length to play.

A much needed upgrade to other oculus cables that only connect the device to a pc. Ideal for playing rift games where you have to plug your oculus quest into a desktop. I wasn’t aware that the standard cables didn’t power the device as well as playing the game and learnt the hard way that was the case mid game.
The length is also good for standing games. Reaches the usb ports and usb power plugs easily with no stress on the cable ends.
At the time of writing the cable costs 30 which while pricy is reflective of the cables quality and features. There are other non charging cables that cost about the same and to be honest this cable is much better.
Overall an excellent product.

I found this 2 in 1 cable perfect for when playing games off the pc rather than Bluetooth. Because it’s plugged in while playing the game and the other is plugged in to the power socket ~ Win win.
I’m no professional but I didn’t see any lag or interruption while playing. The kids have been usring it and they have not complained, so it must be up to speed.
The price at the time of this review is 19.99, which can seem a little high, but it’s a lot cheaper than the branded type one.
Also it keeps the kids quiet.

Brilliant idea
This solves an irritating problem with other link cables by keeping the headset powered while connected to a PC. It’s very simple to use, just plug into the headset, PC and a charger and you’re up and running. It works well and seems to be able to keep the headset going indefinitely. Certainly as long as I want to play anyway.
The wire and connectors all feel good quality and it works very well for me.

I’ve been using the original 80 link cable since I got my quest 2. It works great but the only issue is the battery life. At max resolution 90fps I barely get a couple of hours in before I get the low battery notification. This allows me to play until I get bored and not worry about when I’m going to run out of battery. It is a little slower 2.5gbs Vs the 3.2 I’ve achieved with the link cable but haven’t really noticed any difference. 100% would recommend for PC gamers.

This has way more uses than just for the oculus, the cable is a massive 5m long
Obviously for the oculus it could give unlimited paying time if that’s what you needed or you can use it to move between rooms whilst continuing to play.
But being such a long cable means you can charge other devices a long way from charging points, in the garden, outside a motorhome or caravan.

This lives up to the product description and photos. The build quality is decent. There haven’t been any issues with charging or transfer speeds and it has worked with a quite a few different chargers and devices.
Genius design with extra power delivery
This link cable for the Quest 2 is brilliant. The fact they have added an additional port on the end to connect to a dedicated power source is wonderful as the cable can provide far more power to the headset than it would from a standard pc port. The end result being that you can get a good charge into your headset while still having it connected to the pc and can basically play forever. I’m also glad they went for white as it matches the headset unlike some others that are black. Perfect.

I used this on the quest 2 connected to my pc instantly and had great battery life while using it, it needs a c-type connection and usb connection to your pc to be aware of that. The build quality seems solid and a really nice white design which makes it stand out to my other wires. I definitely recommend this product!

We ordered this to use not as intended in the listing, but as a charging option for when we go camping, where we generally charge things in the main room of the tent, where we have hook up and our main charging sockets, but we also need a long extension that will go into the bedroom area, where we don’t have any main sockets, but usually have a phone or tablet plugged in while streaming. The length of this makes it perfect for that.

This is a really nice and long cable. It says for the Quest 2 but since it is a USB-C cable it can be used for almost anything from the newer version of phones and products not named apple.
