You don’t really need to say much about these
If your familiar with Wolf tools you will also be aware of the quality of their products.
These are light, versatile and very strong.
They were easily capable of cutting everything from small branches to main limbs of a very elderly and woody shrub.
At the end of the day they may not be the cheapest, but you get what you pay for.

So these cut through pinkies like butter … good clean cut with minimal damage to surrounding area. And if squeamish extend the handles to full length and avoid any unnecessary splash back ..

I researched various Anvil loppers and whist expensive this was rated as the best. Having used it several times already it is strong, sturdy and cuts with ease. Whilst it is early days with this tool, I’m confident that it will continue to do the job and therefore worth the extra cost.
Usual high standard only Germans can make

These loppers are amazingly sharp and work brilliantly on stems up to about 1 inch thick. Outstanding.

Best loppers
Extremely well constructed loppers which I expect to last for many years. Easy to extend and well balanced and excellent cutting of thicker branches which my older loppers would not have touched.
Early days but, on first use, they seem to be ideal. The cut is clean and sharp, they seem to be very robust and the leverage, especially with the arms extended, makes short work of anything that the jaws can grip onto. Extending the arms couldn’t be easier or simpler.
Over the last few years we’ve bought four different pairs of loppers including one none extending pair of WOLF-Garden loppers, now I’ve take on all the garden work due to losing my Dad to Covid 19 in April 2020. I need tools now that make life safer and easier as I’m also a career for my Mum with cancer, I must try to avoid injury to myself and having these strong extending loppers sure make cutting old wood easy were before we would have needed the tree saw to complete a cut and as my Dad would always say “you get what you pay for” the older loppers

Have a pair of these myself, so these are bought as a gift for a family member. A well made piece of kit with the usual Wolf quality evident, we have had our pair for the last 5 years so would expect the same from these.

Good Reliable Loppers
Since an unspecified big brand changed ownership with a noticeable deterioration in the quality of their product I have been searching for a reliable brand and with these I think I have found it

Seem well built and cut fairly well.
Nice adjustable length.
Not as sharp or able to cut through thicker branches as I had hoped. No better performance than my previous 20 loppers but hopefully for the money paid they will last longer.

A pleasure to use
You can just feel the build quality. My first anvil lopper for a while, after years of using bypass types, but it cuts very cleanly. The mechanism to extend the handles works well too.
These cutters are truly bad-to-the-bone and have saved me hours of sawing, cutting and chopping when getting rid of a LOT of hefty tree branches in my garden. I can chop up a hefty 10 metre branch and all of its branches in record time, with ease.
You will need strong arms though, these cutters are heavy, but you see why when you start using them, and the extending arms on these make ANY other cutters are a total waste of money!
The handles on these are mega strong too, I’m talking lean on them with all your might to chop a hefty branch kind of strong!

Great product does what it says on the label. We used it straight away and quite honestly found it to cut through branches no problem.
Good tool – well made and balanced. Certainly made easy going of the bigger stuff the hedger trimmer would not cut. The telescopic handle making it easy to reach those bits without needing to risk stretching too far.

Absolutely fantastic. You get what you pay for. These are strong loppers, the action is nice and smooth. The grips are comfortable. There’s a 10 year guarantee. Brilliant.
Works well and appears well made. The handles are beefy oval aluminium sections which can be unlocked by pressing a button and extended to several pre-determined lengths. The anvil jaw mechanism seems to be less likely to be damaged by tackling over-sized branches than my previous “bypass” lopper. I have read that anvil loppers don’t give as clean a cut as bypass loppers, and although this may be true, it doesn’t make much difference in practice. The lopper is lighter than I expected, but (unsurprisingly) feels heavy after extended use.
