Compact, strong (provided you aren’t looking to stuff 20 cards in it). Had mine a long time and it’s still perfect. I store 6 cards, notes, a few coins and lotto tickets etc and it’s easily equipped for this.

Ordered this as my old wallet had been falling apart. This card holder came very well packaged. It can hold 9-10 cards even though there are slots for 8 officially. It’s a little bigger than I had expected but fits into a front pocket quite easily.

This is nicely made and appears to be good quality. It’s slim and small but bigger than just a card holder so can be used as a slimline wallet.
Didn’t score durability as I’d want to leave it a few years to decide that !

great quality item, just the right size, only problem is if you have lots of notes in the centre pocket then it can be a bit difficult to get cards out from the side pocket next to the notes, other than that really like my new wallet..

Great product – owned this wallet for the past week.

Seems really durable, I went for the tan leather option, looks and feels premium.

When I purchase it, didn’t realise it was double-sided, cards feel nice, secure and not too much trouble getting the cards out.

First time purchasing a ‘slim’ wallet as opposed to a ‘traditional’ wallet, will never look back. Feels great in the pocket without having a cumbersome wallet pulling my trousers down lol.

Have not tested the RFID blocked.

Wallet came arrived in nice packaging 5 stars for presentation.

    Slim, light and looks premium

This item met my needs perfectly. As I woman I hate carrying bags and bulky purses round so this is a great item to put essentials in, pop in my back pocket and get on with my day. Item is not slippy and the leather grips inside my pocket meaning it doesn’t slide out easily. Got this item for similarly minded friends and they like it too

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersLove this little wallet. Encouraged me to get rid of all the crap littering my wallet and keep it that way.

After 4 years of use, the bottom seam of one of the compartments came loose. I lost a fiver in the process unfortunately.

BUT, I’m buying another one regardless. This wallet has everything I need and nothing more, and it looks cool AF. Compact and does the job. LOVE IT!

The wallet is the right size and i couldn’t find anything else on Amazon which is something like this wallet. In addition, you really have some cool color options and an option to choose with zipping or not. Overall It’s worth the money. I use it every day now.

This wallet doesn’t spark joy, mainly because I can’t see that it will be very durable, but for around 14 it’s OK. I wouldn’t pay the current list price of 26 or so. Perhaps I’m just not fully convinced by the idea of a minimalist wallet.

This is my 3rd purchase of a small card holder/ wallet and it is the best one yet. Unlike the previous two I have owned this one has compartments big enough to slide cards out without a struggle it also has enough pockets for plenty of cards and cash and receipts can be stored in the inner pocket. The quality seems to be very good and it comes in very nice packaging. I would highly recommend this product.

Finally retired a regular bifold wallet after years of pocket stretching service. This new wallet holds cards securely with space in the centre pocket for folded notes. Very slimline and is barely noticeable in the pocket, which leaves a far less bulging pocket! Not been able to test the RFID blocking capabilities as it’s not a major concern for me.

A beautifully stylish product, arrived on time and nicely packaged. I bought this for my teenage son, who needed a discreet and well designed slim card, cash holder/modern wallet to fit in his pockets. I will provide an updated review in relation to wear and tear with daily usage.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI know the packaging shouldn’t really matter, but the fact that it came in a nice box and was a bit like unboxing an Apple product makes a great first impression. I’ve been using it for a while now and can safely say it is well made and feels like a premium product. It holds my cards perfectly and can take some folded notes in the middle section. Well designed and well constructed.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersWallet is fine, nice and slim. However, AKIELO really need to put their money towards stricter quality control rather than unnecessary fancy packaging that you’re just going to throw away anyway.
The stitching was coming out on the first wallet I ordered so I decided to order a second one because I really liked it, hoping that the second one wouldn’t have any defects. I was wrong. This one had excessive glue in the corner of the card holders, although this was only visible when light is directly shining onto it. I decided to keep the second one despite this because overall the wallet is quite good, I can look past this issue and I really don’t want to order another one and have to also return the second one.

I wanted a credit card wallet that was slim yet still held a few credit cards (I have 9 in mine plus stamps and Covid Vaccine card). This looks and feels quality and of course has the added protection of preventing scam scans of your cards.
The 6 cards on the outside (3 each side) are all easily accessible and the thumb slide for your main one makes getting that one out particularly easy. That said there is no danger that the cards will fall out. I don’t put folding cash in mine, but I guess you could.
It is maybe nearly a centimetre wider than my previous CC wallet but I certainly like this one better.
You’ll note that I haven’t scored durability, that’s because I’ve only had it a couple of months yet, but it still looks new, even though it usually lives in pockets it shares with keys/coins.
Yeah, overall I’m pretty chuffed with it.

Good slim design that doesn’t feel too bulky in your pockets, only issue is I wouldn’t recommend carrying coins at they fall out frequently but ideal for cards and notes

I have used similar in the past and went for black, really like this tan colour and the finish is a soft finish not leather which is really nice.

Cards fit very snugly and I love that it takes up so little space in my pocket, bifold wallets are very bulky and I find hard to get the cards out.

This holds 6 bank cards in the slots and my UK drivers licence in one of the side panels to keep it hidden, still got plenty space in the very centre for bank notes.

    Would highly recommend

IF you, like me, need to use a card to access buildings, this is not the most user friendly wallet, you will need to get used to it. Apart from that, this is what I was looking for, very slim, although the dimensions could be a bit smaller even.

I hardly write reviews, but this card holder is just too amazing.
I actually first ordered a different card holder from a different brand. But when I came across this, I liked this style, and the colour was very eye catching. I immediately cancelled that order and ordered this, which I’m glad I did.
It was very well packaged with a box, thin wrap and a little pouch.
The material used seem very high quality, it was very well put together and the attention to detail were great. Cards are easy to remove from the slots. The thumb push feature for the main card is very handy. As with cash, it can be slotted in the side pockets with no problem at all, tightly held in, and not too hard to take out.
I’m usually quite stringent with reviews, and try to find what bad points it could have, but I really can’t find any faults, hence the 5 stars for all categories.
I definitely recommend this product, and will remember this brand if I look for similar products in the future.

A very happy customer, thank you.

Turned out my friend’s card holder was also Akielo, and he was very happy with it too.

With no real moving parts and a tight construction this little wallet has lasted me a year already – and for the price I’d say its already proven its worth.
I bought this to replace my bulky old fold-out leather wallet I’d had for years, it holds my 6 cards and occasionally a few notes in a low profile and that’s all it needs to do. I even slide my house key in one of the side compartments, gone are the days of full pockets – all I need are this and my phone.
It looks tasteful and does its job at a competitive price. Very good!

It’s ok. Didn’t give me a wow factor when I opened it. It’s not leather but seems durable.I wanted something not to bulky with a zip pocket for a couple of coins. You don’t notice it in your pocket after a while, even with a few cards and coins in it. The coin pocket works well. Would fit 10 pound coins in it probably. A couple pound coins in it you can barely notice they are there. Good design.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good design of zip pocket.

Purchased 5 months ago & couldn’t be happier – it’s so hard to find a nice looking slim wallet that still has a coin pocket. This has space for enough coins, 5 cards and a large central pocket for folded notes and receipts. Sure it’s not real leather (which would have been nice, but probably cost more), but the dark brown look is quality and the feel is nice and soft/supple.
I’ve treated it with care (not overstretched the central pocket due to other reviews saying they stressed the stitching – mine’s pretty solid) and it hasn’t been used a huge amount due to lockdown and mobile payments, but after 5 months it’s still looking and performing great with no noticeable wear. The slim profile in jeans/chino’s/etc. is so good after thicker bifold wallets. If it was lost would I purchase it again? Yes, definitely!

5.0 out of 5 stars The perfect slim wallet, with space for everything that you need.

I have owned this wallet for about 3 months now and I just love it.
I, like a lot of people of today’s age, chose to ditch the bulky traditional wallets for a more carriable and slimmer cardholders wallets. However, it is surprisingly hard to find an affordable, beautiful cardholder wallet with a nice Zip Coin Pocket (I do need it sometimes). Maybe I have just been unlucky all this time, but I think that I finally found “the one”.
I got the “Dark Mocha Zip Edition”, since from the three options with the coin zip currently available it was the one that I liked the most, and I am not disappointed. It looks great and it still looks like new 3 months after. The coin pocket is both beautiful and nicely placed, so even with it full of coins, it doesn’t feel as bulky as you would think that it would get.
Overall, from the several cardholders that I have owned, this one is the best one so far.
    I highly recommend it.

Beautifully presented with its own box and bag. Particularly liked the fact that there were 3 Vertical card slots on each side as well as the horizontal slot totalling 8 In all, which is one more than the other popular brand. Also the one slot has a thumb hole to enable the card to be pushed out easily.
Money can be stored safely in slot separating both halves.

Makes a lovely gift. I also own the other model which has a slot each side and a tab which pulls up a selection of cards from the middle. This is a softer leather and is very tactile. Again beautifully presented. I do not use the middle section for more than 1 card as I have sometimes spilled the cards on the floor when I store 5 or 6 in the middle section, but it is useful when I only want to take a couple of cards with me. It is also slightly narrower than the other model which means it fits better into a pocke

I’ve not had the product long, so I can’t say how good it will be, I will update in a month or two.

It looks good on first impressions, it holds 6 or 7 cards easily enough and it’s not especially hard to remove and insert the cards back. When having so many cards in however, the hidden slots and the money is a bit more fidgety to remove, and makes me think it will rip eventually.

Time will tell, but so far it’s a good value for money, nice and slim which is what I was wanting, I can put it in a small jacket pocket where it will be secure.

Got this for my Partner as he found carrying his normal RFID wallet around a bit bulky.

Holds 6 cards and has three slip pockets for notes or business cards, without the bulk.

Sleek slim design, holds the necessary items, driving licence and app to 5 cards, bank, store, credit cards, and notes, the three slip pockets offer space to separate notes 5, 10, 20 so you don’t have to show how much you are actually carrying with you, it is so inconspicuous, no one knows you have your cards and cash with you, small enough to slip into jacket inside pocket, shirt pocket, trouser pocket, without it being bulky and obvious. Highly reccomend this to anyone who doesn’t want to carry a big wallet but needs the essentials for every day living.

I’ve used this wallet for about 3 weeks now, and so far I love it! I’ve been looking for a compact wallet for ages and finally took the plunge with this one. I wanted one with a small coin pouch, because I am not quite ready to go completely cashless.

The version with the coin pouch only has the three external card slots on one side, not both sides, and also doesn’t have the thumb cutout to push the outermost card up. Just something to be aware of if you get the coin version, because it isn’t obvious from the pictures.

I can easily fit 3 cards in the 3 slots on the front, plus 2 cards in each of the 2 side pockets, total of 7 cards. I could probably put another couple in there as well without issues, bit this is all I need for now. Getting the cards out of the front 3 slots is easy enough, just pinch them with your nails and pull. The cards in each of the side pockets are a little trickier, but these are cards I use much less often (eg driver’s license) so that’s ok. The cards all sit securely in the wallet, and there is no danger of them falling out at all.

The center slot for cash fits euro notes easily if you fold them in half – they don’t stick out. Accessing the cash is ready enough, but not as easy as a billfold, but then the point of this wallet (for me) is to transition to less cash over time, so this is not a problem for me. I currently have 6 notes of different denominations in the center slot (folded), and it adds virtually nothing to the thickness of the wallet.

The coin slot is enough to have some emergency bus fare for example. I have 6 coins in the now, could maybe put one or two more in, but that would be the limit. The coins obviously add to the thickness of the wallet, bit of you stick to 3-5 coins then that is really minimal. This is perfect for me, because I only wanted to have the option of a few coins, and I wanted to get away from carrying loads of coins with me all the time. I now keep excess coins in my back pocket and dump them into a jar at home.

The material of the wallet feels really nice. As others have pointed out, it isn’t actual leather, but looks good. I only had it for three weeks, and si far so good in terms of quality and durability.

Overall, perfect for someone who wants to get a compact wallet, but isn’t quite ready to let go of cash and coins yet!

This is a great wallet with enough card slots to hold the key cards (credit/debit) and a few extra loyalty ones with a central slot for notes. You can’t really hold many coins in this buy a couple will hold at a time when really needed. It has a very nice material that seems strong (though time will tell). The real seller here is that is light, thin and holds enough cards to make it a suitable wallet for day-to-day use as well as being RFID blocking (which is essential nowadays). A little pricey at full price, though I bought at half price during a sale period making it worth it.

  39. James Martin says:

This wallet has simple design, your cards are right at your finger tips as is any money you choose to place within it. I’ve found it slightly difficult to retrieve cards placed within 3 pockets on the side of the wallet. This may improve overtime as the wallet wears but for anyone with large fingers they may find this annoying, that said I wouldn’t want it too loose for fear of cards simply falling out.

I choose to place notes within the middle of the wallet as this felt most comfortable for me, as with the cards initially it’s very tight, I’ve found I can’t insert a note without using both hands.

The coin pocket isn’t very large and won’t hold more than 10 large coins, this if fine for me as you tend to prefer not carrying to much change.

All round this wallet is great for someone who prefers to carry less in their wallet, but still give you the options for carrying just enough to get through a normal day.

Golden Review Award: 17 From Our UsersPros:
I have 10 cards in nicely, and 2 notes in the middle area.

Looks nice, feels high quality, with a minalimist style.

Cards fit snug but not too difficult to remove.

Stitching is all straight and looks quality.

    Cons:

Main gripe is description says leather- but answers from seller indicates pu leather. Personally i think this is slightly missleading, and material description should state PU leather.

Would also be nice if there was an easy access thumb slide on both sides.

Sliding my cards in it almost feels like there is sand inside the compartments- doesnt appear to be anything inside; could be the material lining. Either way it is not a pleasant sliding experience! But this is a very minor gripe.

Will be using this as my daily driver now.

4.0 out of 5 stars Quality but it is PU not natural hide

Golden Review Award: 15 From Our UsersJust over a year after buying it this wallet is starting to come apart in several places, downgraded review to 4 stars for this reason.

I love this thing. I replaced a billfold style wallet by the music brand MONO, (I own several guitar cases and equipment bags by that brand). The MONO wallet was already quite small and minimal, this AKIELO wallet is much smaller.
Not much bigger than the cards it stores overall.

It shipped very quickly and arrived before the estimated delivery date.
The packaging was actually very nice, premium feeling experience unboxing it.

I’m not sure if the wallet actually is real leather? Doesn’t smell like it to me, and it doesn’t have a stamped mark.
But it has a premium feel regardless.

I am storing six cards in it. Two embossed credit cards and four flat smooth cards of the same size (normal debit/credit card size).
I usually have about 25 cash on me at any point, and the notes fit nicely in the middle compartment. I never carry coins at all.

This wallet is exactly what i was looking for, my main contactless debit card is easily accessible, everything else is either a backup card, loyalty card or similar and is rarely used.

The only suggestion I would make design wise would be to have each side of the wallet facing different ways, instead of having the slots facing the same way? Since the current design makes it thicker on only one end. This is a minor detail though.

The stitching looks good, hopefully this thing stands up to years of normal use.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersFirstly let me say that the wallet looks and feels fantastic. Was seriously torn over which colour to choose from as they all appealed to me, however feel I made the right decision.

I can be a bit sceptical when buying leather goods online, though was so pleased by the quality of this leather. From the unboxing and getting the lovely and tbh reassuring leather smell, to the way it has handled over the last week. Not overly soft nor overly firm and just feels great in hand or in the pocket. Hope the images give you a feel for the size and the ease of accessing the note slot.

One thing to note which really impressed me, was the cut out in the front of the wallet…yep it really does help when getting the card out. Just allows you to pop the card out from the bottom with your thumb and just feels natural.

Finally…something which I noticed was the subtle cut of the corners where the cards are held, also surprisingly really helps when accessing your cards. Simple but super effective!

Overall : Looks great, feels great, very secure and smells great lol. Very Happy.

5.0 out of 5 stars Love it! Great Purchase.
