I have this unit in my shed next to my pond and I just go in there when needed and turn a few switches
So easy to clean my pond now, wish I had bought this years ago
A great kit so easy to install and worksso well my pond is cystal clear and clean and so simple to clean tje filter only one little niggle it turns up and your ready to install it straight away but stop there are no plugs plenty of lead length but no plugs if you new this when you order it you could get 2 plugs for when it arrives other than that id recommend this kit to anyone

And im so pleased i did.
Ignore the bad reviews this is a high quality product. Maybe the bad reviewers didnt securely connect all the hoses or didnt use the rubber o rings or clios supplied. But for me this is working better than expected.
Just a few days after installation, i can see the bottom of my pond! A miracle! I also installed a new little waterfall with foam filter at same time as installing the new filter, and im happy with that too as it captures all the green stuff before releasing clean water into the pond.
The auto clean function is cool and fun.., just switch it on and it pumps black water for a few mins before running clear and i use that water for the surrounding shrubs so nothing is wasted. I think in a couple of weeks my pond will be even clearer, so am excited (i know, i should get a life perhaps). Only worry is that clear water will favour those pesky herons, but that is not the filter’s fault.
Anyway, as you can see im a big fan, just make sure you plan the installation and measure it all out before connecting everything up.
Had it running one week now, water starting to clear. Filter and pump are well made. Uv light didn’t work at first, thought it had blown but, a bit of tinkering it came on. Happy days.
A very good product. The water is crystal clear in the morning but after a day of sun goes a bit green and cloudy again from algae. My pond is about 2×1.5×0.5 m so about 1.5 cu m. Maybe one needs an even more powerful filter, uv light or pump rate to get crystal clear water in sun.
I am very please with this kit.
It is easy to install, once you have figured out where each bits go. It comes as described. The hose is long enough and you shouldn’t need an extra one. We’ve still got some spare left.
The only thing the kit doesn’t have is plugs for both devices. Just make sure to spare plugs or order a couple with these. I have just used my old pond filter’s plugs for that. Not an hassle for me but this could be for some.
My pond was rather dirty when I installed the new filter. A week later the water was completely cleared.
The kit is very powerful too but at the same time does not make much noise.
I highly recommend it.
Very good filter can’t fault the water quality. However back flush stopped working after a few times which is very annoying as this is one of the reasons I brought it. Back to cleaning sponges manually.

we have had our other filter and pump for so many years we have upgraded the pond to a larger one and wow im so pleases we got this pump and filter it,s so easy to use it cleans itself you only have to give it a good clean once a your we are that pleased with it im going to order another one to replace our old one would definitely recommend this 5*****
Filter is great ive had it on a month now and water is crystal clear. Pump on the other hand says 3000l per hour but does not process this amout id say it does 1000 at best on a good flow. Pipe work is solid and all clips are a good fit too
good kit. Had one before in another pond and works really efficiently. Easy to clean and if you deep clean twice a year it has no issues at all. Had other makes, but this one I really like.
After 3 hours found that the UV light was not fitted!!!
Never thought we would have had to strip all the housing apart to find the problem!
Hopefully it is now working. Will come back with another review in a few days time.
At a cost of 387 you would expect something better.
This product made my month. I went from an 18000 ltr green and mucky pond. To a clear pond is 4 days. I can even see my fish. Brilliant. Wish I had bought one years ago. The highlight of my day is backwashing the filter and seeing the dirty water coming back out.
Description should state that no plugs are included so at least they can be ordered at same time.
Great product let down by poor fittings making installation very difficult as stated on previous customers reviews, not sure why seller is not rectifying by spending a couple of pence more!
This pump is great just what I wanted for my pond ,at first I thought it was the wrong one do got back in contact with the seller .they were willing to take it back and exchange for a smaller one .but I decided to keep this one
I would have given 5 stars if the units had come with British 3 pin plugs and correct fuses. No plugs or fuses were provided. Apart from that the unit is easy to install. Had to buy another hose as only one is provided which you have to cut in half, one half for the filter and the other half for the pump. But that meant the pump was at the edge of the pond – not in the middle. The description says 38mm hose – its actually smaller – so buying 38mm hose meant I now have a leak from one hose tail – even with a jubilee clip and wire on it. Overall it does the job well and the water is clearing – have back flushed filter a few times with a hose on the waste hose tail. Have not taken apart for major clean yet.
I installed this filter on a Friday. Water in pond was completely green, as per the first photo. One week later, and we are seeing our fish for the first time, as in the second photograph. In twenty years of keeping fish we have never had clear water like this. Absolutely brilliant product.
So my pond is about 4000L and was green that you couldn’t literally see nothing in it. The new pump has been on for 5 days and we can see everything, the pond is crystal clear and I can finally see my fish! Highly recommended and amazingly easy to use, I am so pleased.
