I recently tried out the Amazon Basics Golf Driving Net, and I have to say, I was thoroughly impressed. The build quality is top-notch, and it feels incredibly sturdy. Setting it up was a breeze, and I found myself enjoying every moment of practice with it. The net can take a real beating, which is fantastic for someone like me who tends to hit the ball with some force.

However, if there’s one thing I wish it had, it would be a hitting mat. Having a compatible hitting mat included would have made the whole experience even better. It’s definitely something I’m considering purchasing separately to complete the setup.

Overall, this net has become an integral part of my golf routine. It’s durable, portable, and just makes practicing so much more convenient. If you’re looking for a reliable practice net that’s built to last, this one is definitely worth considering.

I’ve had the net for 2 yrs. Set up is fairly quick. I got the 8’x8′ size. The extra height is nice when hitting wedges. The mesh is holding up fine. I would recommend this net.

Been hitting driver shots at the net for a few eels now with zero issues. Saying that, I’m not the biggest hitter of the ball. Great for beginners to learn the basics.

Easy set up and teardown. The storage bag is sturdy and easy to pack set back into. Net seems resilient, but i purchased a smaller net to sit in front do it doesn’t wear out as quickly. We’ve used it as a family a dozen times in the last month and love it!

I love this purchase the net is very easy to install… And take down. I started by hotting foam balls into the net but slowly worked in irons and woods and eventually 80% driver swings with real balls. My net appeared to be two sections of netting joined together, but works without issue

This was simple and easy to put together and works like a charm. I am very pleased with my purchase. The only flaw I see is that it isn’t easy to fold and unfold for transporting . That isn’t so important to me . I plan to keep it up in the backyard all summer. Thanks Amazon for a simple easy to use produc

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersVery handy golf practice net. After moderate use, the net started getting holes in it. I’ve looked for a replacement net, however have been unable to find one on AmazonBasics. Overall, nice to have and good for practice.

Easy to set up and with a handy carry bag this net is a really useful practice tool. Size wise it’s a huge area to aim at so you’d have to be doing well to miss it.
    Would definitely recommend

Golden Review Award: 9 From Our UsersOn the tee, as a raw beginner, I am a danger to myself and others. Also, let’s just say that my arcs need some oomph. Therefore I bought the 10×7 version of this item, figuring that 7 feet was surely high enough and 10 feet almost sufficiently wide. I have just set it up and, with half strokes, driven about 40 shots into it at the minimum distance sufficient to keep my club head from entangling in the net. I tried both a 6 iron and a pitching wedge. I was happy to see that even this close I could tell how I was mis-hitting the ball. Only one ball managed to escape the net, a shank to my extreme left that dribbled along the grass for about three feet. (You can imagine: my EXTREME left; I am right-handed.) One delightful surprise–maybe I’m imagining it, but the net seemed to be designed to give me feedback on my stroke. When I hit what felt and looked to me like a good shot, the net rejected the ball and rolled it back to my feet. The other thirty-seven shots dropped into the sack at the bottom or rolled out an inch or two, slices and all. I do not understand how anyone could drive a ball through this net unless they had somehow assembled it very, very incorrectly. My side posts are extremely whippy, and my net has several feet of looseness which it seems to me could absorb a tremendous punch, but then of course the speed of my club head probably does not amount to a third of yours. Time will tell if this thing holds up. If it falls apart, I will surely update this review. And–did I say?–there were no directions on assembly or use included, which I would have welcomed just as reassurance, since I really didn’t need them. I lucked out by assembling it frontwards rather than backwards. (Hints: put the bent part at the bottom rear! And use the stakes across the rear to hold down both the bottom poles and the back corners of the net simultaneously!) Fifteen minutes for assembly was a generous over-estimate for me, and tear-down was even faster. No serious complaints. Super-fast delivery. Cheaper than any other comparable alternative that I saw.

Got this a few weeks ago. Easy to setup and breakdown. Contains a hit ball well. Kids enjoy hitting balls into the net albeit with a few shanked shots that missed.

I know this net was designed for golf but I play baseball and I was looking for this kind of net for some batting practice.

    it works perfectly.

very easy to set up, comes with a nice carrying bag, the instructions aren’t super clear but it’s very straightforward to put it all together. the poles do reach quite high but I’m 5″7 and I was still able to put it together on my own.

After the courses closed due to COVID, I was looking for a net I could hit into freely into my backyard. The product is super easy to put together and very sturdy. The 8 feet in height may be a little overwhelming and some swaying does occur due to the wind, but nonetheless, the product is great. Highly recommend if looking for a good, reliable net.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersSe ve como una red muy resistente ya que pesa, le pongo 4 estrellas porque los tubos laterales se doblan demasiado para poder colocar la red lo suficientemente tensa, a penas la estoy empezando a usar, aunque aguanta bolas golpeadas con fuerza, me da la impresin que se van a romper los soportes que unen los tubos verticales despus de algn tiempo de uso.

Golden Review Award: 14 From Our UsersThree years after I post my initial review, and I still keep five-star rating given to this product.

The structure/frame is getting rusty at the joints after leaving it outdoor basically half spring and half fall, and entire summer. It’s no big deal, a little bit rust removal compound with new coating will help to keep it going for another three years.

It will be nice if AmazonBasics provides net replacement for this product, because after hitting thousands of golf balls into this net, the net is starting tearing apart. Although I do use a target sheet hanging in front of the net, the net is hardly going to survive for another year.

There’s an aftermarket net sold by Amazon, but it’s not AmazonBasics brand, I will give a try and see if it serves the purpose.

I am a beginner golfer, I admit that I am taking classes and getting improvements, but I’m still the worst in my company’s golf league.

I bought this 10’x7′ net to practice golf in my backyard for two weeks now. I used it after my golf lessons, otherwise it’s waste of time and money to take lessons.

I’d recommend the 10’x7′ set because I know bad things could happen for rookies, even hitting the ball 3′ away, the golf ball still could find a way fly into your neighbor’s backyard or smash the windows if the net is not wide enough.

I’d also recommend to buy a 7’x7′ enhanced net for $19.99, or more expensive bullseye style net to hang over it like what I did in the photo. The additional money will pay back eventually.

My swing speed ranged from 80 to 110 mph, and I hit 110 to 150 balls a day and 5 to 7 days a week. Without the enhanced net, the center of the net would be wore out pretty fast.

    Pros:
    1. Easy to assemble.
    2. Neat looking.
    3. Light weight.
    4. Comes with a bag to organize the parts after disassembling.
    5. Huge savings on the driving range cost.

    Cons:
    1. On the pricy side. I bought this net for $74, and I saw today’s price is $60, but it’s still quite expensive IMO.
    2. It doesn’t feel very robust. The columns are actually quite flexible, they will bend inward after hanging the net onto the hooks.
    3. Occupy too much rooms, unless you really enjoy assembling and disassembling after each practice.

The bottom line is: I benefit from practicing golf club swing routinely.

Survived 3 seasons. Good for your money if you use it a lo

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersThis net is excellent for anyone that wants to practice their driving/chipping. Its paid for itself with the money I would have paid to go to a range.
You can easily see where you’ve hit the ball as well which helps with practice.
I like how easy it is to set up and to transport. You dont need 2 people to put it together. Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that the product is way over priced for the quality of materials used.

Wicked Practice net, took no more then 5 min to set it up, took longer to unwrap all the parts at first then anything. The bag fits everything nicely and easy to get in. Good quality parts, All in all very good net for the price
