This is a very good impact driver, may not be quite up to the standard of ‘pro’ kit (doesn’t have a pro. price tag either!). However, it is well worth adding to anyone’s collection, it works as it should for the task in hand.

Great for decking and fencing etc. Purchase decent quality impact bits and you can’t go wrong.

The two batteries have great run time and charge fast.

Much better than I’d been expecting – mine had a double battery, so 4 amp hours, but even a single one would last most of the day.

Minor niggle. The clockwise/anticlockwise selector switch is located very close to the main trigger, and it’s easy to “knock it out of gear” accidentally. And the rather small driver bit didn’t last very long before it started skidding and slipping on the screw heads. Fortunately I had several spares in my drill bit set, so it wasn’t a problem. Happy with my purchase!

Ok, it’s got a brushed motor, but other than that, there’s nothing I can fault this on.
It works well. The grip is slightly rubber coated & is comfortable to use.
The two batteries are a great feature, ok, they’re only 2.0Ah units, but one can be on charge while the other is in use.
A case would have been nice, but I’ve a couple of these Denali/Amazon/Skil on test & none of them include a case.
The price on this seems to fluctuate quite a bit, from around 80 to 120, if I recall correctly.
It’s a keen DIYer grade tool, rather than for the pros among you, so the lower end of that pricing seems about right.
    Worth considering.

All the power you want and great control. Used to drive 4″ screws into timber with no effort at all. Great build quality and excellent value for money. Not overly heavy but feels solid in the hand. Ordered the extra 5amp/hrs battery for extra longevity. An update on the drll. Have just driven in 250+ screws fitting featheredge board fence panels and the drill was faultless and the battery was still 50% charge left. Amazing is the only word to describe this drill

This is a solid impact driver that works well, you get in the box the driver, charging dock, 2 batteries, belt clip and 1 bit.
It works like a charm driving screws into wood, as it switches on it also has a light that comes on underneath and this is great for being able to see what you are doing especially if you have no direct light above.
The driver similar to others you pull the locking sleeve forward, insert the bit and then push the locking sleeve back, very simple. However the one included bit is a little limiting and depending in your task you will need to get some more.
On the side is a switch which when pushed in one way makes the driver spin forward, the other reverse and in the middle position is a locking position for when not in use to stop you accidentally pulling the trigger. To operate it’s simple you pull the trigger and it spins.
It’s great having 2 included batteries as one can be used while the other charges and it gives you extra time to work.
I really like the real time battery indicator on the batteries, when the battery is either connector on the driver or disconnected you can press a button on the front and see a real time update in bars of how much charge the battery has, really useful and simple to use.
The driver feels solid, it has a nice weight and seems to be made of quality materials, the only real downside for me really is the lack of any sort of case or bag just so you can keep everything together, especially if taking out and about with you.
One last plus goes to the very good and clear instructions, simple to read and understand.

Effective impact driver with battery level readou

Pretty impressed with this impact drill. Comes really well packed, and for the price you pay you get decent kit, 2 batteries a charger and the drill. Feels really high quality unlike the cheaper ones out there. You shouldn’t expect crazy amounts of power from this but ample power for DiY use.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis is an excellent package. You get an impact driver, 2 x 2.0ah batterys, and the charger. It takes 60 minutes to charge the battery, which gives you a about an hour of constant useage.

Impact drivers are perfect for things like putting up shelves or fitting loft boards, something that requires a little extra strength than a normal screwdriver. It drives the screws in fast and secure without hurting your wrist. The included work light is useful for working in dark spaces like lofts or cupboards.

Comes with a whopping 5 year guarantee on the tool and 2 years on the battery which is very impressive.

Why 4 and not 5? No case. It needs one. Would happily pay an extra tenner to have a plastic carry case. And it should come with a few impact drill bits to get you started. You will need 1/4″ Hex Shank, 6.35mm bits with power grooves which can be quite expensive to buy. I would recommend Wera Diamond Coated ones which cost around 20 for 5.

Apart from that, its good value.
