Just had this delivered and set it up in less than 60 seconds. It’s that easy!
Build quality is great, feels robust yet lightweight. Comes with a gel holder and diffusers which again are great quality.
Previous to this I had purchased and returned two other options.
Option 1: The cheaper Neewer hexagon soft box. Great price but you’ll sacrifice on build quality. Works the same as this Aperture light dome mini II but the parts are made of cheap plastic. As a I had to replace first and then the replacement. So have up on that manufacturer.
Option 2: Aperture light dome SE. Bigger option than the mini but set up is a lot longer as you have to fit the material each time. This resulted in the seam coming apart so sent back after initial set up.
This light dome mini II is perfect!
Would like to get a bigger version.
Bei hochwertigen Softboxen liegt die Aputure Box sogar noch im gnstigen Bereich. Haptik ist toll, der Verschlussmechanismus wirkt sehr wertig, alles aus Metall gefertigt.
Man kauft sich diese Box wegen ihrer Portabilitt, und das macht sie ganz hervorragend. Ruck-Zuck aufgebaut, nur an den Stben ziehen bis sie einrasten – und beim Zusammenfalten die Verschlsse drcken zum entriegeln. 2 verschieden durchlssige Diffusoren inkl. Innendiffusor und Wabe runden das Bild ab, zusammen mit einer schnen Tragetasche.
In diese Tasche passt sogar noch ein kompaktes Studioblitzgert wie z.B. bei mir ein Godox AD400pro rein, so dass man schn kompakt Packen kann wenn es zum Kunden geht. Wre die Tasche 10 cm lnger, knnte man evtl. sogar noch ein Lampenstativ mit reinquetschen, schade.
Je m’en sert chacune de mes video. Accessoire parfait pour avoir une lumire douce et localise, le tout avec un encombrement rduit.

The lightdome 2 will save you so much time and save you from looking like a complete bafoon trying to put up a cheaper softbox that is a pain.
Qualit e robbustezza impressionanti, in meno di 5 minuti viene montato il tutto, fornito con vari accessori, tra cui due teli bianchi diffusori con diversa opacit, una griglia a nido d’ape e anche diversi tipi di “teli” da montare all’interno del softbox che permettono di modificare il colore alla luce (blu,rosso, verde ecc ecc). Sehr geile Softbox. Macht in Verbindung mit der 300d ii ein wundervolles Licht fr Portraits oder Interviews. Der Auf- und Abbau ist super durchdacht und geht schnell und easy von der Hand. So muss das sein – da macht die Arbeit Spa.
Die Apture Light Dome Mini ist Top Verarbeitet und ist leicht zu Transportieren. Etwas Teuer aber man erhlt eine sehr gut verarbeitete Softbox. Selbst die Tasche fr die Box ist gut Verarbeite
Non sicuramente economico, ma la qualit dei materiali e delle finiture molto alta, ormai sono un paio di mesi che lo utilizzo con la aputure 60d e mi trovo molto bene! anche molto bello esteticamente, arrivare da un cliente con un softbox del genere da sicuramente un’immagine migliore e pi professionale
Bonne qualit gnrale. Bien pour une utilisation en studio. En extrieur, associe avec un aputure 300 cob led, la puissance n’est pas suffisante. Peut-tre sur un 500…
Apparecchiatura molto ben fatta, si vede subito che professionale. Diffonde la luce in modo perfetto

Non ho trovato nulla fuori posto in questo articolo, di sicuro un po piu costoso di altri prodotti ma vale i soldi spesi in piu.

This is so much better than the first version. But it takes more space in the bag because of it’s umbrella mechanism.
Because it comes with a lot of accessories, like the grid, the gel holders or the bag, the dome is a true pleasure to use. It diffuse my 120D, or 300D, very nicely. Quality of the diffuser is really good, doesn’t seems to give any tint to the light. The dome itself is super quick to deploy and collapse.
C’est la premire fois que j’utilise un dme de lumire, et donc j’ai eu trs peur de l’abmer la premire fois, en fin de compte pas de soucis se faire, c’est trs robuste et facile mettre en place !

Normal uses all 3 layers of diffusion with the grid to get the best look possible.
This is an amazing yet fairly simple piece of kit. Yes it’s Expensive, but worth it. Point to not, that this is big. You will need plenty of room and a good solid C-Stand to hold it and stop it toppling over.
It didn’t quite fit the purpose, but I can still highly recommend the product.
The product supplier responded to my inquiries very quickly.
J’ai acheter ce diffuseur de chez Aputure il y plusieurs semaines maintenant et j’en suis parfaitement ravis! Je l’avais dj lou auparavant mais tant un produits dont je vais avoir souvent l’utilit j’ai dcid de l’acheter pour conomiser sur le long terme.
L’envoi est rapide et l’entreprise est srieuse. Un produit de qualit et extrmement simple d’utilisation.
Vous recevrez avec le produit 2 voiles de diffusions d’opacit diffrentes et un nid d’abeille (si a s’appelle comme a) pour limit l’angle du faisceau.

Durch den Auslse-Mechanismus werden die Stangen, die zum spannen des Stoffes verwendet werden, ganz einfach hoch und runter “geklackt”.
Das spart Nerven und vor allem auch wertvolle Zeit bei den Drehs. Also kann ich nur sagen: 5 Sterne.

Really pleased with the light dome mini. Not cheap but very good quality. You get what you pay for. Easy to put up and down which is just what I needed.
