Shame about no inside pocket for phone.
Nice product ,seems well made. Fine for fairly chilly spring weather but in winter might need a jumper underneath. I am 6 foot 155pounds and ordered the large. It was okay but I chose medium in the end as wanted a slightly more snug fit. Personal choice really. Marked it down one star as no inside pocket for phone. For the price it is there should be one.

Purchased for present. Came well packed and jacket looks good all round
I really liked the look and concept of this gilet, but I really struggle with Berghaus products due to them being a longer narrower fit in general. I am 5ft9 and 14st10 and neither L or XL fitted me – L was a little too tight across the torso and XL was slightly too big and definitely too long.
If you are a straighter, longer build, then Berghaus are probably going to work well for you.
As much as I wanted this garment to work for me, I ended up returning it.

A bit lighter than expected but hasn’t been off him since Christmas
Last one I bought my grandson was a bit bulkier. He is now into adult size snd I think that’s partly behind the difference. It’s also a bit longer – but he’ll grow into it. Has hardly been off him since Christmas

Great jacket and customer service
This jacket is of a really good quality and definitely keeps me warm, especially when the temperatures were below 0.
Its described as water resistant but I’ve worn it in some pretty bad rain and it’s kept me completely dry.
The seller I bought this off, SportsShoes Unlimited were very helpful and I contacted them for a price match which went successful.
Overall I highly recommend!
UPDATE: The ribbed cuffs on the end of the sleeves are not good quality. They are made of Polyester which has resulted in it Pilling.
That’s the one drawback of this coat for me.
I love this jacket! Not only is it extremely light but surprisingly very warm and comfortable.
The only thing, in my opinion is I could do with an inside pocket but hey ho.
Usually I’d be a large in coats & jackets but on this occasion I went XL after trying on a large.

Really comfortable and surprisingly warm as it’s filled with synthetic materials and not feathers. Won’t stop heavy rain.
Light, Warm, Stylish
Only had it for a few days now so will update my review if in time anything changes. But so far, I’m loving the jacket.
It’s been very cold in the UK over the past few days, but this light jacket has genuinely surprised me with how warm it feels. I wouldn’t have thought it was possible. When I first picked up the package I was shocked at how light it was and I honestly suspected I’d been sent the wrong item or something. Thankfully I hadn’t, the jacket was there and so far I think it’s fantastic.

Pretty warm - good styling
This is a pretty warm insulated jacket but no warmer than other store ones I’ve bought previously, apparently a load of research has gone into the hydroloft insulation, but it feels the same as my jacket from ‘next’. Black colour is more charcoal, which is really nice in my opinion, the styling is also good. Do not wear in the wet/damp as you will get wet! It says shower proof but I will only wear in the dry.

Bought for my son to wear to school. He chose it, and I was delighted to find on amazon 42 cheaper than the sports shop. He’s very pleased with it. He said it keeps him cosy on the cold scottish mornings.

Super Warm and super lightweigh
There is nothing to dislike about this jacket, it is so warm and very lightweight to wear and a great length as the back of it comes down a little longer.
Two useful items in addition to the Berghaus shell range (check the zips in ads) there often isn’t wording to is that these can be substituted for the fleece jacket inside a 3 in 1, the Gilet and the Vaskye. Not together of course can be zipped in and make a huge difference in warmth, certainly. On a blustery hill top etc with temperatures under zero and the wind chill factor much lower – 15c the fleece isn’t enough. The cold gets through with a fleece and that’s with 3 layers below all of various wools.
So pleased with this jacket. I am 6ft 2in and find a lot of this style of jacket are short in the body. This one is excellent and the body length is perfect.

Wear this coat day to day. Great value for money especially when similar jackets are selling on the high street for around 50 more! The only thing I feel that this jacket would benefit from is possibly an inside breast pocket but this is a minor issue. Very happy
Brilliant jacket, great price, awful delivery service from Royal Mail who refuse to acknowledge the last ten years of change within their business. Was treated like a irritating inconvenience, to my face, by the Rochester RM staff. Had I noticed the seller used RM I would have avoided them.
