I must have around 20 or more pairs of walking shoes and boots. I have every type: Hiking, running, trail, waterproof and non. I only wear a select few because I find other uncomfy (hobbit feet) or they don’t stay waterproof past a month.
Then came these awesome boots. I must say, I did do a lot of research into these and other because it is A) A lot to spend and B) I don’t want to keep buying more shoes constantly.
I have had these for about a week now and worn them on dog walks in the mud, rain and also road walking. Each walk has been over an hour. I haven’t had any blisters yet but they don’t feel 100% comfortable yet. But I was expecting that being leather, they need time to break in and mould to your foot. I can tell though that they will be very comfy once I have worn them a fair amount. Plus, they are waterproof! Huge plus with dog walking and hiking.
Overall, I would totally recommend but do keep in mind they will take some breaking in which is totally worth it. After an hour my feet just feel a bit achy nothing major. |Size wise, I got my usual size 4 and they are a great fit. The toe box also accommodates my hobbit feet.
Sizing needs to be bette
Boots looked brill and appeared well cushioned and light but lost out on sizing it said true to size. But too small to actually get on foot to try for walking comfort. Had the old brashers for years and never had problem it’s such an inconvenience to have return items

This is the fourth pair of boot’s of this type we have had, but the maker change from Brasher to Berghaus they don’t wear as long.

I’m over the moon with my new super lite boots! I’ve had them two weeks now and love them. I wore them for a couple of shopping trips to break them in but I didn’t really need to!! This photo is my first walk in them and my feet were great afterwards when walking over rough ground I could feel that my ankles were protected. Most definitely recommend these boots.

Apart from the name these are identical to previous Brasher boots, which were excellent. I would recommend these boots. T
Extremely comfortable
Love these! I bought them for work as I do a lot of walking. In the past always worn wellie boots but they ruined my feet. These were like walking on air. Worn them for 3 full days of walking now and only a slight rub on the back of the heels. I’m sure this will cease in time over more wear. Totally waterproof too. 10/10

Hiking boots
This is the 3rd pair of these boots as I walk miles, they are very comfortable and would highly recommend them.
Got these boots to replace Brasher Supalight, which I loved . However after 2 years of moderate wear they leaked. These seam identical, great quality and finish. They must be small fitting as they are size 4 , I am normally 4 1/2 – 5. So far they are great but time will tell. Berghaus give a life time guarantee , the reason I bought these again. They are very neat and lightweight , ideal for dog walking ,so far feet have been dry which is the most important thing.
Great fit, very comfortable. I haven’t had and discomfort or blistering.very pleased with this purchase. I would highly recommend these boots.

Fabulous boots, if I have an criticism at all the laces are a bit short. I can only just tie a single knot and I have very slim feet.
