Good quality strimme
I had to take down the jungle that had grown in a newly purchased property and this strimmer dealt with grass at about knee height well. It took two charges of the battery to get a fairly large lawn done.
Beware – I bought the version which comes without the battery and thought I was getting a good deal.. then I bought the battery without the charger.. it’s easy to get burned quickly with these kinds of products I’ve learned so check you have everything you need! Overall the price I paid for the parts combined was probably worth it as this strimmer has done a great job on a few occasions now and is holding up well.
I have a small lawn edged with brickwork and have now used this strimmer three times. It is light and easy to handle so there is now minimal risk of me shaving the lawn, as happened with a heavier strimmer. This strimmer has nothing to dislike at the price and I take confidence in its longevity from owning several Bosch household and garden products. The 2.0 amp hour 18 volt battery from my Bosch hedge trimmer works perfectly well with the strimmer, despite the images showing a battery of 2.5 amp hour. Of course, how long the battery lasts depends on how much strimming you do!
Easy to use and effective
This is a big improvement on the more basic models in Bosch’s strimmer range from previous years, it works really well and even with a 1.5mAh battery lasts long enough to do a medium garden. The rotating head is a revelation for me to keep the lawn/path edge sharp. Highly recommended.
We buy Bosch branded items for a reaso
As a family, we are quite impressed with the performance of this item. The only downside would be the running time which is less than the figure stated in the manual. Other than that, it’s a well made piece of equipment.
No complaints
First time I’ve used a trimmer and this does the job fairly well. Its not to heavy and has enough power to cut through some tough thorn bushes for example. Battery life is fairly good too.
The cost and the job it does .
I bought one of these 2021 for myself , and my brother loved it so.l have decided to treat him to one .maybe now l can use mine ,good value and great in the garden .
Like the not having to havea cable trailing from the house when I cut the grass, battery life is good, does what it’s ment to do. I’m over six foot so I have to stoop a bit to use it, but that’s a small price to pay for the convienience. Woudld I buy it again, yes.

Leicht und durch Akkubetrieb sehr gut einsetzba
Da die Bosch 18V Akkus auch fr diesen Rasentrimmer passen, habe ich mich fr das Gert entschieden, um den “Akku Wildwuchs” einzudmmen.
Das Gert ist handlich und der Faden schneidet auch dickere Teile schnell und zgig. Die Lautstrke ist angemessen und das Gewicht ist nicht zu schwer.
Manchmal funktioniert der automatische Fadennachschub nicht korrekt und man muss den Faden von Hand rausziehen.
Ein Hhenverstellung des Gerts wre sehr von Vorteil.

This is one of the best bits of kit I purchased recently, I love that Bosch has one battery for all it is fab.
Highly recommend if you have or need to replace you old power tools go with Bosch every time.
Had a corded Bosch lightweight grass trimmer and it is brilliant, but was getting fed up with the cable and plugging in , this strimmer was on offer with Amazon for 95, with one 18 volt battery and charger, absolutely brilliant, it’s light and does a great job with the attached plant guard. The battery life is great and it now sits in the boot of my car, was at my brothers grave today and was able to trim the grass around the stone, also , the height of it means you can stand more upright, saves the back ! can’t recommend this strimmer highly enough
One for all battery is NOT COMPATIBLE with BOSCH battery drill
CARE NEEDED, one for all battery does not fit 18 Volt battery drill despite having the same charger type number. Means you need two batteries & two chargers all @ extra cost. Deceptive advertising.

Really powerfull and ligh
I brought this knowing tgere wasnt a battery but thought my other bosch batteries would fit but unfortunatelh they didnt so i had to buy one separately which worked out dearer. The strimmer is powerfull and the new battery lasts and lasts. Its very light and easy to use.
Brilliant!
This has made keeping on top of the garden so much easier! No cords to trip over. Light and easy to use. The adjustable guide means I don’t have to worry about damaging the stems and trunks of other plants and trees in my garden.
Perfec
I had an electric trimmer and replaced it with the Bosch and regret not doing it sooner. It is very light and if you have other bosch cordless tools, as I do, you can save a huge amount by buying it without the battery. It perfect and no need to faff around with wires & access.
Amazing compared to similar product bought a few years ago. They have managed to squeeze it into a really small package; assembly was easy without consulting the instructions; it is really light weight; and best of all uses the same battery as all the other Bosch products so you don’t end up with multiple chargers and batteries everywhere.
Great garden tool
It does exactly what it is supposed to do: very pleased with it! A plus is the battery compatibility with other Bosch tools!
Cordless is very conviene
I have Bosch cordless drill & now trimmer both use the same battery
Works well, good fun but buy multiple batteries.
Love using this, it’s lightweight and makes tidying up the edges actually fun. I find I don’t use my corded mower as much now because increasingly I just use this strimmer. Being cordless it’s much more convenient.
A 2Ah battery won’t get you far though, maybe about 15 minutes. So i recommend a big battery or several. I have one Bosch original and one clone, which cost about 1/3 of the Bosch price. So far everything works well.
