Used a couple of times been a good drill
Seemed small for a core drill but didn’t struggle to handle a 127mm core bi

Mid life review- 3 years on from purchase: I don’t usually do this kinda thing BUT this drill is so EXCELLENT I feel I have to! I am a professional plumbing & heating engineer ( for 40 years now!) & this is probably the best drill I have owned in that time, certainly way better than any other core drill I’ve owned or used. Super reliable (3 years of constant use 4,5 inch coring). Light & easy to use at height, haven’t found anything it can’t core thru yet! ( obviously use good quality cutting bits), Really can’t fault it. And to top it all: it has a 16mm Chuck – so fits all core sets, a feature only usually found on much bigger core drills.
    Thank you DeWalt.

    EXCELLENT

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersFor years struggled with 800w drill , why did I, this is so much quicker, took 5 mins with a good 107mm core bit to get through a block and hard brick wall!
Buy a extended bar though as handle does not come off so will struggle for length.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our Userson power one it tares through the walls, was a little disappointed that i could not completely remove the support handle. on reflection the drill is far to powerful to use one handed. problem 2 having slight problem with power 2 for smaller holes. the drive seems to be slipping in power two. over all the drill seems to be well made and has a long lead compared to the makita i was using before, also more powerful than the makita.
