These are great headphones. Easy to use! They feel and look of quality! The Sound cancelling is scary good! Sound comes through well! I was worried they might be too big but they fit nicely! Only downside is if you have long hair then it can get caught in the joints of the ear pads and head strap 9/10 headphones

5.0 out of 5 stars These headphones are what you are looking for!

7/10 for sound quality and noise cancellation is an 8/10. Comfort is testing after a while (quite tight). You feel a bit icky after wearing them for over an hour as the material is a bit sticky. Good value and 50 quid cheaper than competition – perhaps worth the 4 star risk? I probably would again.

Irecently had the pleasure of experiencing the Edifier W820NB Plus Hybrid Active Noise Cancelling Headphones in the elegant Grey color, and I must say these headphones have redefined my audio experience on the go. The combination of hybrid active noise cancellation and Bluetooth V5.2 technology makes these headphones an exceptional choice for travelers, commuters, and audiophiles alike. The noise cancellation is nothing short of remarkable — it effectively blocks out external sounds, creating a serene bubble of audio bliss. Whether I’m on a flight, train, or bustling city streets, I can fully immerse myself in my favorite tunes without any distractions. The inclusion of LDAC codec ensures that I’m getting the highest possible quality audio, whether I’m streaming music or enjoying hi-res audio files. The sound quality is crystal clear, with well-defined highs, rich mids, and deep, resonating bass. It’s a treat for music lovers who appreciate every nuance in their favorite tracks. One feature that pleasantly surprised me is the fast charging capability. In a world where convenience matters, being able to get hours of playback from a quick charge is a game-changer. The long battery life is also impressive, ensuring that these headphones can keep up with even the longest journeys. Comfort is paramount when it comes to over-ear headphones, and the Edifier W820NB Plus delivers. The cushioned ear cups provide a snug fit without causing discomfort during extended wear. The adjustable headband ensures a customizable fit that doesn’t compromise on style.
I also appreciate the sleek design and attention to detail. The Grey color adds a touch of sophistication, and the overall build quality exudes durability. The foldable design makes these headphones travel-friendly, easily fitting into my bag when I’m on the move. The controls are intuitive and responsive, allowing me to adjust volume, skip tracks, and manage calls effortlessly. The Bluetooth connectivity is stable, and I experienced no issues pairing the headphones with my devices. In conclusion, the Edifier W820NB Plus Hybrid Active Noise Cancelling Headphones are a top-tier choice for those who demand exceptional audio quality, effective noise cancellation, and comfort in one sleek package. Whether you’re a frequent traveler, a daily commuter, or simply someone who appreciates superior sound, these headphones are a must-have. They have transformed my listening experience and become an essential part of my daily routine. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a premium audio upgrade on the go.

Decent mid range headphones And good value for money. Bass isn’t the best but the clarity and volume are very good. Only downside is that they don’t come with a case and they are predominantly made of strong plastic so I imagine they would easily break if left in bags with other items without the hardshell case I bought separately

I have owned a couple of pairs of “noise cancelling” headphones before and was worried about spending nearly 80 on these. But they really do work. Yes, the buttons are pretty small but you get used to them.

Thought I’d add a pic or two after writing a good few lines singing Edifiers praises. Turns out taking a pic for the review clears the written content. So, having just trash talked Amazon, in summary: Sonys make your ears hurt, Bose have connection drop issues, Edifiers make me want to keep my daughters birthday for myself #boseareforwhores; #sonysareponies; #nothingrhymeswithedifie

My 10yr old now has better headphones than me

Product for my daughters, both impressed so far and brought from a recommendation from their friends. Great to be able to get different colours as well to stop those ‘they are mine’ arguments!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersBluetooth and wired/two modes. usb-c charging port for wired connection.
The wireless lag is fairly apalling, their game mode trims it from bluetooth 5.0’s 200ms to 80ms.
Without AptX support (bt5.1), bluetooth headphones are not good for gaming nor watching most movies.
(depending on codec used i had to change the audio delay by a ton) Fine for music.
That said, when you use these wired , noise cancellation is magical, even blocks out 85% of seagull. (worth using around town just for that)
All the levels are fantastic and ready to be put through any equaliser app you can get your hands on.
The microphone function also works very well.
If the usb port survives use for more than half a year these will probably become the best headphones i’ve owned. (to hell with you, samson, and your shoddy wiring)
But i do repeat, unless you buy aptX headphones, these are not for gamers who want a wireless connection.
wifi has far more bandwidth for that
(on account of using 10 times more power).. these will last almost 50 hours on a full charge.
With the quality these headphones, already are, AptX would have put quite a bit onto the price.
although u can get compatible headphones for less than these cost, their hardware will rarely be deserving of the new protocol.
Earbuds might be alright tho haven’t tried those for decades.

Midrange product, low-end price. The bluetooth suffers because of it but if you don’t mind wired, these are phenomenal.

Had these headphones for a few weeks now. Use them daily at the gym. Noise cancellation is superb and the sound quality is great. For the money these are well worth a try.

Very good sound quality which is not substantially or noticeably altered by the three noise cancellation options – off, ambient and full. Nice and light on the head.

comfortable to wear unobtrusive extension of earpieces quality sound which from an amp can be put through GraphicE/Q. Re-chargeable battery, only gripe, cable too short .

At this price point I wasn’t expecting too much, however upon reading reading reviews on Amazon and hifi reviewers I decided to give them a try.

I haven’t been disappointed so far, the noise cancelling works really well, sound is very good especially for budget headphones. The noise cancelling is very effective, you do not hear other noises, unfortunately including speech.

They are well padded and so comfortable to wear and the weight is reasonable. I haven’t tested the mic for calls yet, but I’m confident in this being to the level of the rest of the product.

I have only used them a couple of times so far so I may update this review, but so far excellent.

These headphones have changed my life. I have no idea how I coped without them. The noise cancellation is great (other brands just have white noise and claim it’s noise cancelling. They’re super comfortable and not too tight; I found that other brands were so tight my ears and jaw would be sore after a couple of hours. You will not regret buying these! Only downside is that the plastic is the matte satin-y type that scratches really easily, but honestly that’s such a minor detail compared to the amazing value for money

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersNegatives first:
    – buttons take some getting used to, to identify which ones which (bit fiddly)
    – they don’t go very loud so I often have to use a volume booster on my phone
    – during gym use, the leather ear pads get quite sticky
    – the size adjustment is too lose, it can widden just from holding them at the top
    – they don’t fold or come with a case, so I had to purchase my own case
    Positives:
    – battery last very long, I’ve managed to use them for a week (2 hours of gym for 5 days + a few long journeys) without needing to charge them
    – noise cancelling is very good, was not expecting them to be this good, I’m unable to hear the engine of bus and noise in open spaces once music is playing (very good!)
    – high bass, some may like this but possibly a little too much bass
Overall, very impressed for the price but they’re still not perfec

    Sound and noise cancelling great
    Look super cute
    Comfortable
Get slightly sweaty after hours but can’t notice when it’s on + that might be normal

These seem good for what they cost, but I had to return them. I bought them as they’d been recommended for small heads, but they’re way too big for me. If you have a normal sized head, they’re great though.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersWay better than I expected, for this price. Bought as a second cheaper pair to keep at work, to block out external noise. At home I have a pair of Sony xm3s. These are 20% of the price for easily 80% of the performance of the Sonys. Maybe even 90%. Very pleased with this purchase.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersThe sound quality and noise cancelling on these headphones is fantastic. I have own bose and Sony headphones and these are just as good. The only down side is the fact there is no case nor do they fold up. But I would say this is the only difference from the higher end headphones. Would definitely recommend them.

Considering the price for these headphones I was amazed with how good they are, decent quality (build and sound), the noise cancellation is 10/10 but considering I sit on a mower all day using these and blocks out about 80% of the sound I can’t really complain. very pleased with these 🙂

Really like these. Do not have experience with others but it these do the job. Great sound quality and if have music on cannot hear someone talking right next to you. Will be great on next flight!

I’d never heard of this brand before (pardon the pun), but I’m really pleased I took a chance and tried them. They are really comfy making a really nice seal around my ears. The sound quality is excellent. Plenty of bass, but not too much and the other end of the spectrum is crystal clear and the sound cancellation it pretty good too. Well worth the money.

Golden Review Award: 12 From Our UsersI went into stores and tried on the top dogs of noise cancellation, the Sonys, the Bose 700 and 45, but they are all ofcourse 200+ and what not. I tried 2 of the lower end of amazon that I had to return (around the 50 mark), these ones have come out on top and super happy with the purchase!
The comfort is very good mught take a little time to loosen up but out of the box can comfortably wear for a couple hours

Battery life: Excellent stuff lasting close to claim

Sound Quality: for me a 9/10 especially for this price, put the bose 700 on my head and I wont be able to see a clear difference.

Noise Cancellation: This is what I cared about most, albeit its not on the same level of the 300 ones but it does an amazing job reducing most conversations near me to barely noticeable, I’d say its a decent job of reducing outside volume by about 80%.

Overall, tried many headphones on at different price points and this one is for sure the best headset if you don’t have 250+ to throw on a high end headset.
