Best sound I’ve ever experienced, real studio quality.
    All the sounds you’ll need.
I love the clean fender tones.

This little gizmo does just what it says on the tin. It replicates a dozen amps with a range of effects which you can adjust to suit what you’re playing and transforms electro-acoustic into quite an awesome beast (or at least would do if I could play it well enough!!).

Fantastic little amp, the sound is great even with a cheap guitar.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersWhat can I say except, if you want to be able to practice without annoying the neighbours, your housemate or your cat, then this is definitely the gadget you need.
I use it in combination with my Flight Vanguard Electric Ukulele and Bose Soundlink headphones and it works brilliantly.
I also had the idea try it with my portable speaker (Bose Soundlink Mini) as a more portable alternative to my amp, and wow, it sounds amazing…..even at low volume. This gives me the flexibility of using my amp for the bigger room filling sound, and the smaller speaker to create a portable get great sounding option using these tiny but mighty bits of technology that all fit into my ukulele case. Thank you Fender…..from my neighbours and my cat!

Great versatile unit. Plenty of different tones and effects to cover most needs.

This is the first gadget for guitar I’ve bought on a long time that made me smile straight away. It’s easy to use once you remember the coloured light combos for amp/eq/fx.
The sound quality is remarkable at this price. Really usable and realistic tones sat on the sofa.
I used mine with a USA Tele, USA Strat and a Gibson Nighthawk (humbuckers and split coils). Great sounds on all three guitars.
If I break or lose it. I’ll buy a new one immediately. No, I don’t work for Fender! Love it.

For the money, it's surprisingly good. Excellent, maybe!

Always thought about getting something like this and when Fender brought this out I had to try it… It’s fantastic, so great for headphone practice and recording ideas straight to your computer.

This little device is quite phenomenal for it’s versatility: a dozen amp settings and the same again for effects. The USB-C port means I can record into a DAW what I hear. Well done Fender.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersGreat pocket/practice amp just connect to guitar, plug in earphones, and away you go. USB charging. Up to 4 hrs use. Great selection of practice amps with simple adjustments of effects. Yes… there are limitations but considering the size and ease of use , this is a great bit of kit. Very handy. On a personal note- I am not the greatest player in the world and I am usually very reluctant to crank my amp… this pocket amp let’s me crank my guitar with headphones attached so I dnt need to fear people hearing my poor playing! Also- no need for a big amp at my feet just plug this and headphones into my guitar. Can play anywhere- except the bath/shower! I love it.

I love this little box, the permutations between amps and effects seem endless, love using it backing tracks with electric and acoustic guitars. Can also be put through speakers, amps, almost anything and at a great price, love i

It’s great plugged in to headphones for silent practice but you don’t really get the full extent of the amp modelling until you plug it into an external speaker, tried it in a headrush108 all I can say is awesome!

These things are amazing. I am still trying to figure out all of the different beats I can get but I think they are worth every penny to have an amp on the go. Sound quality is amazing also.

Very portable and some nice effects but…

    1. It’s difficult to select an effect if the jack socket is not on the front of your guitar, as in the photo. You just can’t easily see the buttons or the LEDs

    2. Some of the LED colours are difficult to distinguish, especially if you struggle with green/blue.

    3. If you want to record from the USB C port you’re going to need a longer lead than the one supplied.

    Impressive but...

Great range of amp modes, and the effects though a little limited are more than adequate for home use
Also able to run it direct into a DAW for recording

I was lent one of these about a year ago but was undecided. Glad I bought one now, it’s fun to use and enables me to play virtually anywhere. I stay in hotels quite regularly and this is ideal and I can play backing tracks at the same time

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI love this thing it doesnt come with headphones fits all my guitars due to the fact you have a lot of movement around the jack. I really like the fact that I could connect my phone or laptop via bluetooth and then play along with the lesson from fender play for example you need to subscribe for fender play or if you buy a guitar or amp from fender you normally get couple months fender play for free other learning apps will work also ie YouTube lessons so really versatile and the sound you get from it is really top quality I have had big marshall stacks and small fender amps and for practicing, learning or a late night jam where you dont want to disturb neighbor’s then this is really great it even works with my bass guitar and for around 90 I cant put it down theres 12 amp types from fender 65 twin through british style jcm style amp through to modern metal so really overdriven, and also 12 effects types reverb, chorus, flanger, tremolo and delay and mixes of those ie delay and reverb theres lots of choices you can also change the parameters of each effect. So let’s say your using one of the clean amps and reverb you can increase or decrease the amount of effect you get so with reverb you can decrease it until you get no reverb or increase so you get alot and with effects like flanger and tremolo it increases or decreases the speed or rate of the effect. you can even connect the mustang micro via usb cable not supplied to your pc or mac and record with it. This would be great for beginners because you get great range of sounds for not alot of money right through anyone really I live in a terrace house and cant play late or loud but I can now through my headphones I have been playing guitar for over 30 years and I love it would recommend in a heartbeat.

So, plug in your 3.5mm headphones, Bluetooth link to your phone so you can play along, plug in and go!! Great little practise amp, so I can feel like Hendrix whilst sounding like a drowning cat.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI thought about buying this for a while before I took the plunge. As a casual guitarist I had wondered if it was worth it (not amazing and don’t play in a band).

I took the plunge and do not regret it. Simple as plugging in and playing with headphones (best wired) straight into your ears. Sound quality is brilliant, and the effects and amp styles are so much fun to play around with. It actually makes me sound half decent!

It has Bluetooth capability so that you can play along to songs, and with a longer USB cable, can act as an interface to play through your computer.

The United recharges for power (cable provided) and is small enough to carry in your Picket if you wished.

The only problem with this is staying up late at night playing, nobody can hear me, but I am tires the next morning.

Wish I had this 20 years ago

I personally enjoyed using this fender micro amp it’s perfect for my needs wanting to do some self learning without being too noisy with the headphones. It’s packed with features from different amp and effects from clean tones to something with a bit more crunch ensuring there’s a little something for everyone.

It’s very easy to use, plug in and change settings etc. Unplugging the amp for me is always a tad bit nerve racking although it feels like a decently made product the way it’s constructed gives me some concerns.

It the perfect size to have something on the go. If i was to nip pick i did find some of the amp setting to feel a tad bit lower quality and very harsh on the ears but there’s only a few. Overall i think it’s fantastic.

Hope you found my review helpful.

Bought this for my son and he loves it. Supposed to use headphones but he plugs into a speaker so he can play along to songs on his phone via same speaker. Really good.

I am just starting out, and this device helps endure that I practice more often. Great sound quality. Lots of variety, and it helps me avoid just playing around with apps rather than actually trying to play chords etc!

This is for Guitarists that want a variety of quality amp, effects and tone sounds for practising, it does not disappoint.

It supports Bluetooth in to practice to a song, plug a long 3mm lead to the headphone output you get the sound out to a speaker.

It gives you cream for your coffee, spice for your dish and plenty of attitude for your anger.

    Fantastic…

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI’ve been taking lessons to improve guitar but I live in a terraced house so can’t plug into an amp without annoying the neighbours. Being able to plug headphones directly into this device, without the need for an amp or cables makes a HUGE difference. The tones are great, I don’t annoy anyone and it’s completely portable. The best part is the bluetooth functionality as I’m learning with the Fender Play app, so I can watch my lesson on my tablet and hear it through my headphones along with my guitar (it’ll work with any video though, not just Fender Play). This little gadget is worth every single penny.

Bought this as a Christmas present for a member of the family. He is very pleased with the versatility of this little unit. I’m not surprised, it’s Fender and they’ve never let me down in 50 years of gigging.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI’m totally happy: for the first time, I can get usable tones out of my Gretsch!
Never having played electric guitars in my youth, I find them totally baffling: even the so-called presets in my Zoom G3 pedal sound awful to me. But this little marvel does everything perfectly, with no need for endless fiddling – although there’s plenty of tone variety on offer from clean to eeeekk. Highly recommended for idiots like me!

You can also plug it into your PC/tablet/phone to record via USB – which works really well.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersWhat an incredible piece of kit this is! Haven’t stopped using it since I got it. So many amps to play a with a great range of special effects. Portability is brilliant. Took the guitar and the micro on holiday recently and played it in silence which pleased the wife! A charge lasts ages and I have just purchased a lead to enable me to play it through my mini amp to play in front of people. Really packs a punch too. Best bit of kit I have bought in ages. Highly recommend it.

This little bit of kit packs a real punch in sound, matching the quality of full Fender amps I’ve had before. I’ve enjoyed using the Bluetooth function to play along to music and get back to learning by ea

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersBought to use with my bass guitar and really pleased with it. Works well. A great variety of different amp styles, equalisation settings and effects. The big selling point for me was Bluetooth connectivity with external devices, enabling me to sync it with my phone to play along to music streamed from Spotify.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThe tones are very generally good (especially the Fender clean tones). Reasonable variety of effects which help to extend the arsenal of tones. All in all definitely loud enough for silent practice via headphones – which is, of course, the main aim. I have a Fender Mustang v1.2 modelling amp but if the Mustang Micro had been around at the time I would have bought it over the full size amp.
