MUCH BETTER TO KEEP CLEAN AND THE DRIP TRAY UNDERNEATH IS CERTAINLY A GOOD IDEA, MY ONLY THING WHAT I WOULD HAVE LIKED IS FOR IT TO BE A BIT LARGER, DIDN’T WANT THE FAMILY SIZE SO AN IN BETWEEN SIZE WOULD BE GOOD

but heavily used since. As others have said, this is actually quite small for a “large” size – I’d have preferred something bigger ideally. Being able to dismantle the plates and put in dishwasher is definitely a plus.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersWhat a good idea having it take apart so that the plates can be washed properly. This is so much more convenient. I can just remove the little electric module at the back, and put all the rest of it in the dishwasher. The drip tray is now slotted right underneath, instead of just perching unattached at the front. Well done, George Foreman!

I’ve had toastie makers in the past that are adverstised as “dishwashable”, but only the plates are actually dishwashable and food gets behind the plates.

This one is not like that. The only part that cannot be dishwashed is the hinge mechanism, which is fair enough. As long as you are not careless splashing the hinge, I think you can keep it really clean very easily!

We were constantly looking for a toaster with removable grill parts and a washable feature. It’s a really rare feature. We finally decided to buy this product.

    Pros:
    – Material quality is very good in metal and plastic
    – He makes toast very quickly.
    – The washable feature is really nice
    – The grill surface does not scratch easily

    Cons:
    – But due to its technical design, its upper part is not tightly connected to the body and cannot be pressed from the top with weight properly.
    – I expected there to be a heat setting, but there isn’t.

4.0 out of 5 stars Sturdy, washable but no heat setting

This model is a gem to clean…pull theback out, and wash, hand or dishwasher. Perfect. Ready for next use. Because the components can be washed, this model has taken away the issues we have about trying to clean grills………problem solved. Thank you.

Fancied a cheese tostie but our old maker don’t know where it went. Item arrived and cheese tostie make and it was the best ever. The adjustable hing means you cn put thick items on like lamb steaks. This going to be used for alsorts several times a week. So easy to clean. Bit of degreaser spray and into the sink. What could be easie

I have to agree for what it is, it is quite expensive but I am not sure what price one can put against the fact that you can stick it in the dish washer and comes out as new each tome.

The grill has not bells and whistles very basic for what it is, a green light to say when it is ready and red when it is heating.

The main selling point is that one is able to stick the thing in a dish washer, otherwise money for money there are better models on the market.

Go for the larger model as it is perfect for one maybe two at a struggle or is not big at all

I’ve had a similar grill for many years, but the new one is so much easier to use because the two plates can we washed in the sink – so much easier, so it will get much more use.

I love this and use it a lot. Any food that can be grilled goes in it. I particularly love char grilled peppers. I gave my old grill/ panini maker away because it took a lot of cleaning. This one goes in the washing up bowl or dishwasher.it’s great.

I previously had the foreman grill with remove ale plates but after years of use the plates non stick came off and needed new one.

This is ok but not as good. It smokes a bit and you cannot open it directly with your hand it’s just too hot! Big flaw.

    Cooking space a little small.

    Heats fast and cooks evenly.

    Easy to clea

Bought this to replace my old Foreman with removable plates.
Like the fact that the electrics are removable so you can give the plates a proper clean, only washed them in the sink so far which works fine.
Like the fact that it’s flat and has a large surface area with slots.
Like the fact that the drip tray slides under the bottom plate and catches everything that gets through the slots.
Dislike the handle at the front to open the top isn’t very deep, scalded my fingers with steam off veggies, use a tea towel or oven gloves to open.
Keep the electrics part clean by wiping with a damp cloth.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersDisappointed in the size of this “medium” grill. It is more a small grill and in my opinion only good to use if you are a single person. Two square sausage and two slice black pudding fills the grill so no way you could cook a breakfast for two on it at the same time. Wish I had waited for a family sized option. That said it is so easy to clean which is why overall rating a 4.

Golden Review Award: 17 From Our UsersThe grill size is 23.3cm by 16.6cm at the largest point, but, it is only 15cm deep at the corners because it is curved at the front. This fits two slices of white bread “jacksons yorkshire” brand perfectly when laid front to back, covering every millimeter of the grill almost.
I’ve yet to turn it on and try it out, but it seems really neat how it pulls apart for cleaning. There is no wording on the inside of the gridle lid, so you’ll get the browning grill effect over the full span of the grill.
There is no manual temperature control on the item, so you get what you get. There is timings on the instructions for a variety of food types though, which I’ll be trying out in time.
It misses 5 stars because the grill size is not rectangular and not available to find on any product detail – yes the outside product dimensions are interesting, but I really wanted to know whether it would be large enough for my cooking needs. Every other kitchen cooking appliance has a cooking dimension of some sort, so I’m unclear why George Foreman don’t think this is a useful piece of information to supply.
