Love them
These are specifically for sort hair or fringes. You can also them to make waves in longer hair. They don’t grip like the larger straighteners, so make sure you put only small amounts of hair in them. They will also straighten hair well. Ideal to lift those roots. As always with GHD, a great product.
Excellent stylers
I bought these as I hsve short hair and found that my usual GHDs couldn’t style my hair as I wanted. These are narrower and are perfect for my short hair. They also heat up incredibly quickly.

I have short hair so can’t use wide straighteners, I’m small also and these are ideal! I know to they’ll fit in my bag for a weekend away and won’t take up any room in a suitcase!

Great for short hai
Have had another brand of mini straighteners before which were very flimsy, these ghd are very robust and easy to use. For me the fact that there is only one heat setting is not an issue. Obviously only suitable for short hair ( or fringes) as the name implies.
Best for thin, silly hair.
It’s very good for girls with short silky hair like me , for curling as well as straightening. Curls are tight but last forever (mind it no other curler lasts on my super silky hair). I love it.
I bought these as a treat for myself and I’m glad I did as they are easy to use, they give excellent results on my very short hair and a really good thing about them is there’s quite a bit between the ceramic plates and the edge of the straighteners so I haven’t burned myself once and I don’t even feel the scary hot bit near my scalp or skin. Neither do they pull my hair when using them or heat up like a furnace that’s going to fry my hair. I put the guard on as soon as I’m finished and I feel peace of mind with that safety feature. I am amazed at how much better high end straighteners are compared to cheaper ones.

Purchased for my mum who has a pixie hair cut and finds the full plate streghtners too big – she has raved about these ever since – she said she would buy again one they have met there end

I am a big fan of the GHD. I have the regular one but had my hair cut really short so didn’t need it. Now with lockdown my hair is growing and I have decided to let it grow longer. My hair is wavy and sticking out in all the wrong places and the regular ghd is too big. This slim one is perfect, also it will be my travel one as it’s lighter. Only small complaint is the price.
First one bought since last one in 15 years!
This is the first one of this particular GHD (for short hair) product I’ve had to buy in probably over 15 years… (I lost my last pair via a flat move, not because they failed me) with updated features and perfectly straight short hair when you have wavy or curly hair – highly recommended.

Bought to replace an old pair of these GHDs (about 4 years old) which began to give less heat, (hoped it would have lasted longer) but overall pleased with it. Easily portable when travelling. Heats up quickly
Well made produc
Well made but expensive in comparison to other products. They were at bit longer than expected for travelling with but they do the job well. Would have given 5 stars if they had not been quite as long.
GHD straightener or curler.
I had to bin my first GHD when it stuck to my hair, which burnt and came away on the appliance. I know it was elderly, but was surprised by its failure. However, I have loved the GHD, since being recommended it for curling short hair and said not to damage hair. I replaced it immediately with this one, which works really well.
Good hair days are here to stay
I waited 10 years to buy the GHD mini styler as I was afraid it would end up in the drawer and never be used… but now I have it I use the styler almost everyday and bad hair days are definitely a thing of the past! So easy to use and it warms up in 30 seconds, so even when I’m in a hurry I still use it. It’s perfect for my fringe.
Not What We Expected
A bit confused about these. Not really travel ones just thinner so a bit disappointed. Not sure I would recommend them for travel.

Love this, heats up in seconds and gives a lovely finish. Great for short hair. Have a regular ghd straightener for 12 years and still in perfect condition, just not as good with the shorter style, so hoping the mini one lasts as long.

hese are thinner than the regular ghd straighteners, and so are much easier to use on short hair. They heat up quickly and are easy to use. I use them every day for quick tidy up, wouldn’t be without them.
I always use ghd – this set is a perfect size for me, rather than a bigger, less manageable appliance. I tend to use it for straightening and curving the fringe, sides and ends of my hair – rather than all over straightening. This method gives me overall volume, but tames my hair and leaves a good finish. Easier than blow-drying/styling. I just blast my hair dry then use my ghd to style it – so quick and easy. Heats up really quickly and is lightweight, for travel.
Great straighteners! I got these when my hair was long enough to tame the chemo curl which made me look like Worzel Gummidge. They did the job & helped me to feel normal again. I have since sent them to my sister who was also diagnosed with cancer and she loves the too. Thanks GHD for taming our manes.

Much better than the full size one which I gave to my daughter. Easier to use – I’m not so clumsy with it and it does the job. Would highly recommend this item.

The only negative is that the cover appears to be too big, as it keeps falling off when I store it or take it out to use. Unsure if this is the case for other users??????
Well impressed with these , my last ghd were bigger and I have short hair and these are so much better to use. Only problem I get is the on/off button is too close to were u hold it and I often switch it off when holding it. Apart from that really glad I brought them

Love them! They are so smooth and great on short hair. My previous straighteners (non ghds) had a higher temperature setting and the ghds do a better job than them!
My old GHD’s still work fine after years of every day use. However my hair is now uber short so I invested in these. Not disappointed. Smooth irons that heat up quickly with a little beep to let you know there ready. They come with a handy holder to protect your surface when in use and storage.
I bought GHD’s again as after one swipe with the irons my hair is straight, I’m not raking my hair repeatedly to obtain the desired effect. My hair also shines and is not a dried up frizzy mess!
Oh and they arrived quickly too.. Which always helps!
I brought these after my original pair of GHD’s decided to die on me. I much prefer this smaller styler than the big ones and they glide through your hair beautifully.
Usual ghd good quality
Usual great ghd quality but these straighteners don’t seem to get as hot as my previous (years old) pair of ghd straightening irons. This doesn’t impact styling too much and I guess it is better for my hair that they are not as hot. However they do look a lot more stylish than my previous set.

I have badly damaged hair from too much colouring,and whilst I need to work on repairing the damage these styles have improved the look of my hair making it look smoother and fuller.Well worth the price !

Never understood the hype around GHD until I bought these babies, wow hot, fast and lasting straight hair. I will never go back to other brands again. Heat up in seconds, takes minuets to use and I just can not believe how straight my curly hair goes and lasts till the next wash! Well impressed thank you GHD x
GHD are definitely the best, They are not cheap but worth paying extra for. I had my first pair for years and then replaced them with a cheaper one. They were not as good. Perfect for short hair and taking abroad.
Little gem
I bought this to travel with & it worked a treat & now I use it as my regular GHD I have naturally wavy hair & this little gem managed it quickly & easily. Quick to heat up & easy to store – perfect !
GHD Styler the Bes
I bought these as a replacement for my old cheaper styler which burnt my hair – I am very impressed with them and I wish I had bought a ghd styler in the first place

Unfortunately my daughter left home so I needed to buy my own GHD’s!
I have another make , but the GHD’s are much better – I bought the Mini’s as my hair is shorter and these work better.
I agree wish they were shorter but I can live with this.
Ok first off, if you’re looking for a mini hair straightener that will fit easily in your bag? These are not small. In fact, besides the plates being ever so slightly smaller, these are the same length and size as the normal full sized GHDs. Don’t get me wrong, these are GREAT straighteners, but they certainly weren’t what I was expecting when I wanted a mini pair to carry in my bag. The handle is still unnecessarily long and wide. Why couldn’t they make that bit shorter or travel size?
Moni or not mini, both are great for fine short hair.
I think it’s easy to use and I’m happy about the result. It takes about 10 – 15 sec to get ready to use, and the runs smothely trough the hair, with a good result. I have curly, short, fine, thin hair and I’m really satisfied with the size of the mini, but don’t think it’s that big of a difference compared to the regular one.
It looks trendy with its golden detalis, pulsing light (so you now when it’s heating or the right temperature) and the pep:sound it makes when it’s the right temperatur.

ghds are the best hair straighteners. They warm up quickly, and they only need one “pass” to straighten hair.
The mini styler is ideal if you have shorter hair, and the slightly curved edge allows you to create “flicks” if you want to. The straighteners beep to let you know when they are warm and ready to use.
The packaging is very nice, and adds to the impression of quality.

It is exactly what is described and is an excellent product – I am disappointed with it because I wanted the irons to be the smaller ones that I have had before which were called mini styler but the irons were half the size of the ones sent.

Not As Good as My Last GHD
I purchased a slim-line GHD straightener in 2010 and it just packed-up a month ago (Dec 2013). I was somewhat surprised it didn’t last a bit longer. Clamps don’t join true, though, which affects its performance. I liked my first model better – it seemed of a higher quality.

I broke my last pair of GHD straighteners and just brought a cheap pair on the high street but within two weeks I had to buy some new GHD once you have used ghd nothing compairs brilliant product. … have the ghd hairdryer on my Christmas list 🙂 cant wait ….
I bought this to use when traveling and so far it delivers even with pretty thick hair. I opted for ghd since I love my full size styler. It’s surprisingly effective for a ‘mini’ and works at different voltages as promised. My one complaint is that ghd mentioned that the plug can be changed from standard UK to European as some of their larger stylers can but this is not the case. ghds are more expensive but you get a quality product that lasts!
The wifes face lit up when she saw ‘GHD’ on the box as she tore of the wrapping paper…these are very good bits of kit and the leading brand apparently…if you want to impress your partner get them a pair of these, you wont go wrong!

Perfect for me
Used GHD mini styler for 6 years and was gutted to find them not working on arrival at my holiday destination. (Quite possibly something to do with my suitcase being a write off also?) Borrowed my daughter’s regular width straighteners for the duration of the holiday which were fine, and decided when I got home to replace mine with regular ones. Six weeks later I just HAD to go back to the mini styler. I find them so much easier for getting to the roots for the lift and body I need in my very fine hair. Love them.

This particular styler was recommended by a friend. My hair became rather frizzy, especially in damp weather. I had never used a hair straightener before. This styler has made all the difference to my hair. I use it only when I wash and blowdry my hair. My hair is now smooth and stays that way until the next wash
My daughter owns a set of ghd stylers and had strongly recommended that I buy a pair suggesting that I order the mini set as I have short hair, hers is long. My daughter-in-law is a hairdresser and we have often wondered why my hair is straight on one side but very curly on the other, hence the reason for wanting to purchase some stylers in the hope that they would give me an even hairstyle.
Having read the review about this product arriving in a battered box I was a little hesitant in wanting to buy this product from Amazon but as both my husband and I have ordered many things from Amason before, all of which have arrived in perfect condition, I decided to go ahead and order a set.
Within minutes of the arrival of my package, just 3 days after I placed my order and in a Perfect Packaging Condition, suitable to give as a gift, I was plugging the ghd stylers into the socket, to my great surprise and delight within just 30 seconds a bleep was telling me that they were ready to use. How amazing was that, just 30 seconds. As soon as I started to use the ghd stylers my hair lost its will to curl all over the place and for the first time in years I have an even hairstyle, and the absolute bonus is that I can also curl my straight hair to give myself a curly all over look, magic.

I own a pair of the max GHD and a pair of the classic GHD straighteners which my daughter and I use and which I also use on clients as i’m a hairdresser. I bought my son the mini ones for christmas as he has thick hair and a double crown. Just like the 2 pairs I already own, they are amazing. I wouldn’t even debate buying cheaper ones. The blades are so smooth and even days later, hair is straight, smooth and flatter. There is nothing that will touch a pair of GHD’s!!
I’ve always bought cheap supermarket shelf straighteners which have never been particularly great and don’t last very long. My stylist advised getting some of these but I really couldn’t that they could be that much better than what I’m used to. After trying some out in the salon, I was instantly sold on the idea. They feel much more premium than cheap ones. They heat up almost instantly and I love the sleek sliding on switch which has a glowing ghd logo that pulses as it heat. Within seconds, it beeps to let you know it’s ready to use. The plates glide through your hair leaving it with a glossy shine. I’ve bought cheap “ceramic” straighteners before, but they don’t do anywhere near as good a job, and usually take many more strokes before you’re happy with the results. These are well worth the investment *****
