Very pleased with the quality of this jacket which is warm to wear and waterproof and also very good value
The jacket is lightweight and fits to size. The only downside is the sleeves are slightly too long but I still recommend it.
Lovely jacket, shame the difference between small and medium is so great though.
Amazon delivery driver left it on the doorstep despite having a safe place on my account, seems they want to just dump and run, it was peeing down when delivered so was wet when I arrived home 4 hours later. Also the delivery stated handed to resident, which clearly was 100% not so.
Anyway, fab jacket, recommended, if not so great the delivery itself.
Love this jacket, got it for a great price on Amazon compared to HH’s website.

It’s light, stylish, and practical. Fits perfect. I would recommend buying your correct size, and I was told buy one size larger, which was too big. Now got ta small (to fit my little frame) and it fits perfect.

i bought an xxl as i normally like a bit of room but jeez this was big and i mean big long arms orangutan type , get a size smaller as there a big big fit , i should have got a large there that big .
Lots of uses and great quality, found a use for the plastic pouch on the back that fits a sewn badge
Fits like a glove, well coat! The quality is second to none and is an ideal lightweight jacket for sailing when my Musto BR2 is too thick. Really looks the part and am seriously tempted to buy a second in another colour for on the water.
Really love this jacket. Lightweight but not flimsy in anyway. It is smart looking sufficiently warm for cool autumn mornings and fits perfectly. I’m 6’3″ and 100 kg, proportionate build and XL is spot on.

I bought the jacket as a waterproof. It is waterproof but doesn’t have a hood. The jacket has a kind of fleece lining so will be a great autumn jacket to keep you warm. I love the look and it’s great. Be aware it’s very warm so you won’t want to use it as a waterproof on warm days
Fits really well. I’m 5’10”, 34′ waist, 42″ chest. Only thing to be aware of is that it’s warm. I tried wearing it on a rainy summer afternoon and started to overheat. Best for the chillier shorts days when you really want to put a arm top on. quality looks great. Looks like 2018/2019 version. I got reduced though on Prime Day, so good value at sub-70.
Bought this on the strength of the brand name, wasn’t disappointed, well made , lightweight, and as some have said , sleeves are quite long , ok with me , better than short . Sizing is accurate, I am
A 40inch chest , and medium is a good fit , would recommend.
To be honest for a jacket that cost over 100 it is a bit chavy and not usually to my taste, however that isn’t Helly Hansen’s fault I’ve just seen too many bams wearing HH. It is a great jacket though and incredibly well made………
Bought this as a stopgap until I found a down filled jacket I liked. I’m not going to bother with the down jacket now.
This is Incredibly warm for such a lightweight jacket. Worn jacket over a thin sweater in the snow for over an hour and was amazed at how well it stood up to the cold.
Worn it for work on the north east coast of England. Icy rain and sea spray knocking me sideways for half a day and didnt let a drop in.
Unlike other water resistant jackets I’ve owned this is extremely breathable.
I’m 5.8 with 44 inch chest 34 inch waist. I ordered two. The large fits great, as with most things I wear, I find it slightly snug around top of my chunky arms but not overly.
Used to buy Karinor jackets as they were less, this year i opted for Helly Hansen albeit I pretty much double the cost of a Karimor jacket. This jacket is without a doubt the best water proof/winter jacket I’ve ever bought.
It’s lightweight which is good with excellent warmth lining keeping you toasty toasty in these dark winter nights and the waterproof aspect of the jacket is brilliant. Plus it’s well made and a very reputable brand. Helly Hansen know how to make a jacket with their back ground and history..
It’s heavier than I thought, which I’m pleased about. Good quality zips nice length in the body. I’m 6ft, 46″ chest and the XL fits well. It’s a little long in the arms and I’m not keen on the velcro fastening at the cuffs. But, it keeps the rain and cold out and I wear it as a top layer.
Proper quality garment! I bought it for winter golfing as its lightweight, warm and 100 waterproof. I can prove this as I’ve been out in terrible weather in it a couple of times and torso and arms were bone dry if a little sweaty.
Worth the money
A trusted brand in Helly H; have used this Jacket for about a year now and not had any issues with it. It is fleece lined on the inside so does get hot inside but there is a vent under the right arm in the torso that helps.
There is a small pocket on the top left breast internally which is a good place to put your phone if you want to use headphones, the outer pockets are fleece lined and have the necessary depth similar to other jackets for this type of coat.
A good jacket, I would buy again.
Only thing that ruins it for me is the clear plastic tag window at the back. Looks like a jacket that a child would take to school and put a name tag in it. Ruins the over all look of the jacket for me.
Will be sending it back due to this. Shame.
Really nice and wearable jacket, bringing what it promises: waterproof, light and breathable enough to pace up to the 12th without zipping it open.
Only the sizing is interesting: I bought first a Medium one (my chest is about/exactly 100 cm / 40 inches and that is my widest point under my shoulders) and it is somewhat tight; would be OK with only a T shirt underneath which may be good for summertime. For winter and for work where I like to have long sleeve shirt and in case some cardigan, I had to buy an L size jacket which is still a good size for me…
Pockets could be a bit larger.
I have had Helly hansen jackets before so when this arrived was looking forward to wearing it. The size I bought was Large and in hindsight I should have got XL as it is a tiny bit short, On the colder days this jacket is not warm enough, which is dissapointing Its fine in temperatures of around 10 celcius but any colder and not good enough
Overall, I love the jacket and I think with a brand like HH, you can’t go wrong.
I’m never one for writing reviews, let alone positive ones. However this coat is too good not to. I have long arms so most coats come up short. I am also slim so most coats are a poor fit on the body. However this coat fits me perfectly. It’s good for spring and autumn time in the UK, you only need a t-shirt or shirt underneath and you will be plenty warm enough.
I would not purchase this coat if you are nursing a phantom pregnancy due to one too many pints as you may struggle to zip the coat up, but as long as you are of an athletic build I totally recommend it!
Buy with confidence as it’s top quality for this sort of price (the additional 20% discount code was a nice treat =spring20) I found a sip on the right inside underarm which at first seemed like a nice feature but bizarrely it doesn’t have a logical use as it opens up to the back of the entire jacket so I’m very keen to check for this somewhere in store to see if they all have this? I don’t see this as a real problem as I will simply keep the zip closed and forget it’s there. The jacket came with a “water & wind proof guaranteed label which was great as the description on Amazon states it’s water resistant! Although I have just received my jacket today (great quick delivery under 24hrs for 3.95!) I’m confident I will get good looks when I start wearing this cool jacket and enjoy having it, I brought this in black & the red zip features on black Rock 😉
