I really like this printer. It was easy to setup (I think I had it registered and fully set up within 15 minutes or so). You can get a lot of free months of printing with what’s included and also through referral codes.
The wireless nature of it is great. I’ve always had printers that were hard wired to my PC tower, and this is so refreshing to be able to plug the printer in to a different part of the room, nowhere near the PC, and have it fully functioning.
I’ve really only bought this for printing postage labels for things I sell through ebay, but I have also used it for printing colour coupons, and printed a few pictures of famous paintings, and the quality of the colour printing has been excellent and I can’t fault it at all. Everything I’ve printed, the printer has responded straight away and began printing in seconds.
I have noticed there’s a mix of reviews on here for this, but it looks like most of the negative ones are for the cheaper variants (not sure why they’ve mixed them in with this printer, they seem like 2 entirely different printers to me). This is part of the reason why I paid a bit extra for this one rather than the cheaper one, and whilst I have no experience of the cheaper 2710e, I can only vouch for this one and say it’s given me no issues.
A very good quality printer.
I was very impressed with the provision of ink in that I was thanked for using it and next day was advised that my monthly payment was suspended for six months. This was followed only a few days later with the arrival of a black and a colour cartridge. Great service and very timely.
Abit finicky but worth i
This printer is abit finicky and clunky. But once it is set up, really easy to print from any device on the se network/Wi-Fi.
Also if you change Wi-Fi passwords, it’s quite a mission to re-setup this printer. Because it can’t join the network, you can’t easily communicate with it and you have to go through similar initial setup steps.
Print quality is good and apparently you can do label printing too.
All in all for price and ease of use once setup, worth it !
Everything a personal & family printer should be
WOW! What a package, first class printer. Printed from laptop and mobile without a hitch. Had it over a month now and got a delivery of my free ink as I signed up to the monthly thingy. There is something really relaxing about not worrying about quality and the cost of ink (small monthly charge) with the added bonus of 2 year warranty. Again, time to relax around this printer.

My opinion… Great printer, ready to use straight away, first ink included in box
So when u first open it, don’t freak out, it is the right printer, the instructions are different code but it matches.
Secondly here’s how to set up.. First of all, (read instructions and put ink in) u need to put this as close to your router/WiFi as possible, and on a stable flat surface.
Set your mobile/computer to the same WiFi as you will use for printer.
Download/install the necessary apps.
Follow the app instructions. Yes you might have to download another app, get led between websites, print off extra instructions.. Fill in details.. Change a setting on ur phone, turn on Bluetooth, i cant remember exactly But honestly once your set up its so simple!!!
Iv had this a few months now… Every few weeks I get it out of cuboard and print.
Each time I get my printer out to set up (now it’s set up) , I just turn it on, go on my app, hide the printer (click the printer and hide) then click add your first printer, i chose the second (bottom) option “add a printer that’s already set up”
(if your trying set up a new one click “set up new printer”)
It dies take some trying at first, but it’s actually super easy.. Just follow instructions. This printer is fantastic!!!

Easy to set-up
Very easy to set-up, get working wirelessly with my computer and sign up for the Instant Ink trial. Only slightly negative comment is that the mains lead is the flimsiest I have ever encountered on any product.

So very easy to set up . Easy usage . Also a brilliant idea is free inks for 6 months .then there’s the monthly plan where you pay a set amount per month for your printing and if you don’t use your plans quota for that month you carry it over to the next month totally worth it all of it is great value for money
Quick and easy
I found it easy to install.. The WiFi is the best feature so I don’t have cables everywhere.. Only down fall I think is that the ink cartridges are soo expensive. The ink that the printer came with seemed to last all of a few pages..
A brilliant purchase.
Now I have an up to date lap top the printer is brilliant. Very clear on printed items, no smudging and the automatic ink posted is great and very handy.

Easy to set up
Wanted an occasional printer for home use only. Found this printer very easy to install with the minimum of computer knowledge using the easy to follow steps on-line and it only took about half an hour.

Great value for money
After reading some reviews saying they had difficulty setting up, I was a bit sceptical, however, it couldn’t have been easier, only took about 15mins, now set up to 3 devices, 2 wireless and 1 wired. No problems at all and the replacement ink schemes are an absolute brilliant idea, takes all the worries of replacement ink. Previous printer was a Canon and I could never get it to connect to my chrome book, but the hp is a breeze, would definitely recommend.
A good printe
It wasn’t easy to install as my computer was not compatable with the printer app, it wanted me to up grade my computer!! How ever I installed it using USB cable which it didn’t like me doing. Now it’s installed it does the job, good value for money.

I cannot get the printer to automatically print on both sides of the paper. At the moment I have to print one side Thurman manually turn the page over to print the other side.
Super Little Printe
I don’t know why the negative reviews! I found this easy to set up using the HP App on my phone. 5 mins and it was connected and then another 5-10 mins sorting out the HP+ Account. Added the 6mths free ink automatically and I managed to get another 4mths using codes I found on other reviews. So 10mths free ink! And it worked as the first auto delivery has just arrived. No issues connecting via the app and the print quality is perfect for such a cheap little printer. Lightweight, easy to use and not bulky, 5 stars from me!
Good print quality but difficult set up
Really misleading set up. Prompts you to download apps that you don’t need and are totally useless! Eventually discovered I didn’t need them at all and was able to print. Print quality is good for home printing needs.

I bought this as a quick cheap replacement, easy to set up with the hp printer app from my phone. Its brilliant and the price is very reasonable. Quality of print is great. Even if this only lasts 6 months, its money well spent. Highly recommend
Does what it says on the box, it scans, prints and copys.
Took a while to install using the wireless feature and still can’t get it registered with HP for the extras, but that could all be down to my lack of up to date technical knowledge and not a problem for me. I’m sure a modern teenager would have no problem
All in all I am very pleased because now I can scan documents (failed on my old HP 4580) and now the print is very clear to read (suffered from ghosting on my old HP 4580).

It’s a good printer but it’s a bit of a faff to set it up and my kids had to download the app to be able to print, my daughter couldn’t print from her school app either so we had to email it then print it so not quite as easy as our previous WiFi printer unfortunately

his is well worth the money and this model was very easy for me to setup and use after reading another review i was expecting it to be hard but he was talking about the cheaper model and the extra things that this can do are very useful. if you sign up for the ink with this code b1mmsn you get an extra month free of ink the best thing to do is read other reviews to find other codes but i think you can only use 2 of them

Brilliant produc
Excellent value for money. Only issue I had was I didn’t realise you had to put the ink cartridges in before you got the printer started. Eventually figured it out and everything is now perfect.
Great all rounde
After reading many reviews and a lot saying how difficult it was to install and set up it almost put me off, but I purchased anyway and have to say I am very pleased, it was a doddle setting up, goodness knows what these people who struggled were doing.
Print quality is good for a fairly entry level machine, scan facility is great and all wireless which I like, overall a definite 5 star review but it is early days as I have scanned and printed 2 items only up to now, but I think it will be just fine from first impressions.

Brilliant printer. Took me awhile to fathom the set up. Had problems with mobile, but was happy set up with laptop, which was more important to me. Compact, reasonably priced and a great printer. A definite must buy.
A superb printe
The HP+ DeskJet 2720e is a superb printer. The setup process was so easy and seamless and the mobile printing using the HP Smart app is really excellent. I must admit the more I use this printer the more impressed I am with it, especially as it is such great value for money. I would definitely highly recommend this printer as a good quality printer that is so easy and straightforward to set up and provides an array of impressive features.
The Instant Ink feature in particular is an excellent feature which helps provide peace of mind to ensure you are never going to run out of ink or toner as you will receive them before this happens! It even includes recycling of your used old ink and toners so is very environmentally friendly too. What is there not to like!
Easy to install printe
Printer was delivered as ordered. I found it very quick and easy to set up. No problems at all. It is a little noisier than my old printer, but you get what you pay for. Quality of print is good
Good Value Basic Printe
I have only just installed it and used for a couple of pages’ print, but so far, so good. The printer is very easy to set up once you download the app – it can be done either on a PC or phone. 6 months’ free ink is a good incentive, after that there are reasonably priced plans, starting at 50 sheets/month for a couple of pounds, which is ideal for me as an infrequent user.
Decent print quality for everyday printing, it probably won’t do high quality colour photo prints, but you can’t expect that for the price.
Perfect n easy to set up
Not sure why many found this printer difficult to set up. It was very straight forward and easy. Just download the hp smart app and register an account. Then turn the printer on and let the app find the printer and connect it to your wifi. It prints really well. I even figured out how to print on two sides. It came with ink cartridges so no need to buy. The instant ink is soooo worth it cos it automatically detects your ink level and sends you more.
Keep the printer switched on as it will order the inkjet cartridges for you
This printer is a great thing to have in your home as it will save a lot of time as you can easily print out off your phone ie work schedules or work rota and saving money in the future
Nice printe
I like this printer/scanner. especially with the free ink. Prints well, the only little niggle I have is that it doesn’t have a long shelf for the paper to come out on after printing, but I can cope with it, bit of a pain if I am printing several sheets as they go shooting across the room if I do not keep an eye on it, but for the price it is very good xx
Great printe
Only problem is that if your not technically minded.. And sometimes. Even when you are the printer can be hard to set up. Took me about 20 mins even though I’ve had one of these before.
Once set up, took a very short time to print 120 pages. The ink that came with it ran out after this and I now wait on hp to send me new one.
How to get 10 months free ink
Enter code jkhtdc and then another FREEINK. These will stack and give you 10 months total free ink (including the standard 6 month). You will have to enter payment details but won’t be charged for 10 months. Ink cartridges are only sent when your printer is running low. The printer itself is very basic, took about 15 mins for me to set up due to app downloads an account creations. The print quality hasnt been the best but I’ve only tried test pages with the starter ink.

Great printer once set up!
I received my printer quickly after ordering and it arrived well packaged. In the box there is instructions for setting up, some ink cartridges and also a leaflet for setting up HP instant ink. I set up the printer via my phone, which is great that you can do this if you don’t have a computer! Although it wasn’t as straight forward as I’d hoped. Downloading the app was easy, it took a while for the printer to connect to the internet and be recognised on the app. I did have to download a second app before I could print anything. It definitely took a bit longer to set up due to the technical difficulties but once up and running you are good to go! The first thing I printed out was some of the free colouring sheets on the HP app so my little boy was delighted! The actual printing process is quick but a little noisier than I expected. The actual print out is clear and no issues with alignment or anything. I am still using the cartridges that came with the printer so that is a bonus, I did sign up to the instant ink subscription service, which was really easy to do so I already have more ink waiting for when I do need to replace the cartridge, so I have peace of mind mind I don’t need to shell out for ink as its all been paid in small amounts monthly and I only pay for what I need! If you signed up you also got 6 months free ink which is a really good deal! I would recommend this printer to friends and family as once set up it is really easy to use. I can print documents via my phone downstairs and collect from my printer when needed. The actual printer is bigger than my previous printer but you can also copy & scan with this printer so that is expected. The paper inlet & outlet trays fold up to keep it compact.
Great printer and scanner for home use!
The printer is well made and doesn’t take up too much room on my home office filing cabinet where I’ve set it up. The HP app (downloaded from the Apple App Store on my iPhone and iPad) works really well and I had the printer up and running and printing from both devices within about 20 minutes.

Easy to install and great ink pla
I had my apprehensions about this printer having read the reviews posted here on installation hiccups. However after consulting friends and having assessed the printers unbeatable pricing and a great instant ink plan I went for it.
Amazon shipped the package on time and unlike my earlier canon PIXMA this one came all packaged and I just had to fit in the cartridge and plug it on.
The Installation : I just followed the steps in the setup guide. Download hp smart on mobile or install app on laptop. Switch on both Bluetooth and location and click on setup a printer. Off course you have to be on your WiFi and the printer will get detected and from there just follow the instructions. The set up was over in 5 minutes flat and I could start printing direct from mobile.
Instant Ink : The most interesting part of the setup was the concept of instant ink. The product currently give 6 months of free ink that is if your toner runs out within this time HP will ship you free additional cartridges. Fantastic. Post free trial there are reasonable monthly plans which rolls over the unused pages quota. While setting up HP+ in the app you can apply coupons to increase the 6 months period. Use FREEINK for additional one month and 34zyjk for another 3 months. This would mean your quota of free ink is extended to 10 months. Enjoy.
Great printer, but don't set it up using your phone
I was rather excited to get this unboxed and set up to replace our old faithful HP printer. I popped all the bits out of the box, followed the brief set up leaflet, got the ink installed easy enough, printed out the instructions, then started getting the WiFi connected. Advice from me is to use a computer, as doing this on my phone would not work, with multiple attempts through the app being fruitless, constant diversions to advanced settings through a web portal, and none of it would totally work. Finally gave up and tried on my laptop and the whole process was sorted on the first attempt!
Once it’s all set up it’s great, printing wirelessly works flawlessly for us. The quality has been fine for everything we’ve asked of it (my daughter loves the fact that we can so easily print off new colouring pages for her from our phones!)
We’ve signed up for the 6 month trial of Instant Ink, first lot has already been delivered, great idea as it means you really don’t have to think about running out of ink at all. We’re still debating whether or not to keep the subscription when the free trial runs out as our printing needs vary so much throughout the year.
So yeah, on the whole, brilliant printer, just do the setup on your computer first!
Easy to use and setup
When the printer arrived it came with an easy to read instruction booklet and didn’t take a lot to set up. I did the set up from my phone (I did have to download two apps) and it only struggled to connect when I was having low internet signal. I like the ease of printing straight from my phone and having a preview of what the image will look like. At first I used a very thin paper and even then the quality was great, considering how thin it was. I then tried with a thicker photo paper and it was perfect for printing photos. The scan and copy feature was simple to use and will be very useful for work. The connectivity is something I have had a few issues with but have put that down to my own personal internet speed from my router. I would definitely recommend this printer, especially for someone wanting to print mainly from their phone. It light to move around and it’s too large so fits easily into my office. Having dealt with a lot of temperamental printers in the past I am glad to say this printer has worked consistently each time I’ve needed it. I also love the HP instant ink, i don’t need to go out and search for the ink in store and I know I will have some in the house, also the return packaging for the used ink is very useful too. Which I will definitely continue to use, however I don’t usually leave my printer on, and the subscription cannot work unless it connects to the printer, this is something to bear in mind when choosing instant ink which I need to remember. Otherwise it’s a great option to have as I don’t need to worry about having ink in my flat.

Reasonably easy to set up, very good value, prints quickly.
I’d bought it on expenses to work from home and could have spent more, but couldn’t find a good review.
I’m pleased with it. A bit of faffing setting up but nothing much. I was already set up for replacement ink but that transferred with a bit of help from reading the instructions.
Fifty quid printer with 6 months of free 9.99 a month ink- and pages rolled over from last agreement, new ink arrived quickly.

Easy to set up and use.
This printer is amazing. It took about 15 minutes to open the box, set up, register and start printing. The print quality is excellent. I find the copier part great as you can load a number of pages into the inlet tray to copy instead of having to do page by page, which has been a god send. all in all this printer is easy to set up and easy to use and the fact that I can send a print task to it even when I’m out of the house is an excellent idea. I also set up the instaink so we now ink delivered straight to the when the printer is running low.
GOOD BUT NOT EASY TO SET UP
I would have given the printer 5 stars but for the difficulty in setting it up. at first the only thing that the printer would do is print a test page. Although documents etc were recognising the printer it would not print. I mistakenly thought that this downloaded software would automatically set this up but it doesn’t you have to go into the computer set up and add a default printer. To setup the printer on a smart phone is even less straightforward. Hope this helps anyone else, as this is a good little printer. What happened to supplying a disk to set things up?
Great easy printe
I love this printer. There are.so many great features and it’s so easy to use. I love not having any wires and that the printing is all done through WiFi. Being able to print from my mobile has saved so much time. The other function that I love is being able to take a photo of a document with my mobile and it converting it to a pdf. Update: just had my first package of ink using the HP+ which came through without a hitch. Great idea for those who print often.
HP Quality
I’ve previously owned HP Printers in the past but this little thing has been the best so far. I like it’s sleeker design, compared to the bulkier ones, and I love how simple it is to use. I love that the colour printer can scan, print and copy. No need for lots of wires as it has Wifi. The setup was pretty simple and using the HP app makes it more simpler to use. The printing is quicker (5-10 pages per minute) to their previous versions and the quality of the photos are outstanding quality. The scanning is easy to use and it features an automatic feed tray for lots of scanning and you can scan two sided pages as well as two sided printing. It’s set at a reasonable price and for what it can do, is very worth the amount paid. It makes work life a lot more easier to do. It comes with 6 months worth of free ink so it’s a little bit of saving. If I was to recommend a printer, this one would be it. It does everything that you want a printer to do and so much more.

Simplicity Itself

A great family printe
A great little printer that is useful for a family. Purchased this printer as the cartridge coats were ridiculous for my old Canon printer. Hp Instant Ink provides a much more cheaper way to print.
Make sure to use the code FREEINK when completing your HP instant ink for 1 month extra for free. Additionally using the code scmn23 will give you 3 months extra free.
Size. The printer is much more smaller than originally thought (alexa dot for reference in picture). This can easily fit anywhere in your house.
Print quality. The printer quality is average and is usable for document printing. Printing is fast for black and white pages however incredibly slow for coloured pages. Photo printers be wary!!!

Was so easy
Honestly I don’t get what other reviews was saying this was so easy to set up! Im awful with technology but due to starting my nursing training I needed a printer and scanner for documents and this was so easy to set up it took me hardly any effort at all and well I’m just so impressed

This is a great printer for everyday use. Setup is slightly complicated but when complete, it’s a great machine. The instant ink service is a real game changer – no more running out of ink at the most awkward time or having to pay extortionate prices for cartridges. Overall, the printer gives great value for money and great connectivity. It is so easy to print wirelessly from a range of devices. It’s great to know that the cartridges are recycled in a sustainable way too! The printer is also well designed and looks great on the desk. I would definitely recommend this product.
great machine for the price
wanted a colour printer for use at home re some basic work tasks – went for this HP as seemed like a good buy for the price and has scanner too – print quality seems good – set up wasnt that easy (typical printer) and we went for the HP instant ink deal where it is delivered to your doo
Very easy set up
I signed up to HP+ the ink subscription service and it all work very well. Easy to set up and good print quality (on the right paper). New ink just arrives in the post when I need it!
I have three devices set up this printer and I haven’t had any problems printing from any of them.

Perfectly ideal
I was sooo skeptical about buying this printer because of all the bad reviews about how complicated it was and it didn’t work etc. Now barring in mind I’m pregnant and very clumsy and ditsy right now this was the most easiest thing to ever set up and install, I set up everything all on my iPhone on the HP smart app, I am familiar with the app as the printer I had before was very similar! It does the job, prints a decent quality and it’s a decent price! If you genuinely struggle to set this printer up, you were clearly dropped as a child I can highly recommend this printer! Just give it TLC and don’t be so aggressive as it is a delicate piece of machinery and you’re good to go!
It's a Good Quality product.
The print quality is good. It prints fast.
Very difficult to install, it took my 2 hours even after I followed the steps mentioned on its application.
While giving a print command from Android phone it kept asking me a PASSWORD which I finally got from the Customer care agent as it’s no where mentioned in their website or application.
Also two sided printing is not available.
Once installed correctly it’s a very good printer.

I’ve had the printer setup and in use for about 3 weeks now and have to say I’m very pleasantly surprised at what a good printer it is.
Setup wasn’t quite as easy as I hoped, although the directions seem simple enough, they’re just diagrams, no actual explanations and if something didn’t go to plan, no advice. So I did have to look on HP’s website for some further help but after a few troubleshooting tasks and about 30 mins later, I was printing from both laptop and android device.
Registration with Instant Ink was straightforward and quick and although free for 6 months initially, the plans are very reasonably priced. And even though there were ink cartridges in the printer box, as soon as I signed up to Instant Ink, they sent another two cartridges (black and colour) so I’m ready to swap over as soon as I need it.
So far, I’ve used the the print, copy and scan functions both from laptop and android device and it’s been so easy and trouble free.
The quality of the printing is very good, far outweighs what I would expect for the cost of the printer.
As I work from home, the printer is on my desk and it’s not the quietest printer I’ve ever used but it’s ok.
Through the HP Smart App, I love the Camera Scan, so I can take a photo via the app and print/save it straight away.
Overall, a great printer for basic needs and I would certainly recommend to my friends and family.
Really good compact printe
I have had the HP 4120e printer for a couple of weeks now and have to say it is one of the best printers I have ever used. I have printed numerous pictures which are high quality and I have displayed them within my home. The printer is lightweight and compact so will fit in a small office but is powerful enough to do large jobs. Setup is really easy instructions are available via the app. The scan function is also really easy and quick to use, you get the option to save as a pdf, picture etc and can also choose the size of the file. This was all completed from my phone on the HP app. There is a HP subscription plan for your inks, you sign up specifying how much printing you do so they know how much ink you will need. I placed my first order within days of getting the printer as suggested which was easy to do and the inks arrived within days. Copy function is accessed by a press on a button again very quick. Good printer for household use. Get’s the job done. Instant ink is however painful to set up. When i tried to register through the instant ink app, it showed 2 months free ink and I had to spend 45 mins on a call with a HP support staff to try and get the remaining 4 months. Something HP should have addressed through details in the pack or just enabled for this particular model by default.
There is a good thing though – over and above the 6 months free ink, you can get additional 4 months ink using the code below DURING ENROLMENT – There is a section to add the code during enrolment (not sure if it can be done after enrolment):

I’ve been really impressed with the performance of this HP Deskjet 2720e All-in-One printer. The only issue I’ve had with it was during set-up, which was a bit “buggy” when attempted from a mobile phone via the HP app. First things first, the printer came extremely well packaged and included the power cable and two introductory ink cartridges to get you started. I’m not sure how long these will last but mine are still going strong after 4 weeks. However the real bonus is that if you sign up to HP+ instant ink during printer setup, you will receive replacement cartridges straight to your door when the printer senses it’s running low. This is free for the first 6 months and you can print up to 700 pages a month. Amazing! After the free trial you can continue with a choice of packages (dependant on how much you print) or cancel all together. My first set of cartridges arrived within a week of signing up so I’m really impressed with this feature. Setup requires the download of the HP app on mobile or via a weblink on a computer. I decided to try it on my iphone and it seemed to be going well until I reached a popup that froze and wouldn’t let me progress any further. In the end I closed and reopened the app and the printer appeared but was not completely set up. It was difficult to get back in to continue the setup process. In the end I resorted to the weblink, which gave me access to a wider range of settings and I was able to get back on track. However my troubles didn’t end there! On inserting the cartridges provided with the printer, it declared that they were not genuine HP product and refused to do anything with them. I have to admit, at this point I gave up for the day! The following day, a few reboots and the problem seemed to resolve itself. Printing began! The printer has excellent functionality, providing scanning, copying and printing in a compact unit. There are various settings for print quality and speed but I found the default more than adequate for most of my printing needs. I also tried photo printing and was very impressed with the quality on photo paper. Connectivity is this printers big selling point and after the initial teething troubles I have had no problem printing from my laptop or iphone, and even printing remotely. All in all this is an excellent printer for everyday needs and with the trial of HP+ it makes the price very attractive too. A couple of tweaks to the set up process and it will be perfect.
Print instructions and set up will be easy, great little printe
My 2720e is up and running, remember to print instructions through the printer for easy setup, but I have had no issues yet after doing this. Prints from all devices and from sending an email directly to the printer, with a little time delay. The HP+ instant ink was easy to sign up for and allows you to print up to 700 pages each month free during the free ink trial, remember to change this at the end of the trial if not suited to your needs.
Fantastic printe
Quick and easy to set up, I’m not a technical person so if I can set it up and get printing then anyone can.
Brilliant print quality, its fast, not noisy and printing from your laptop or mobile phone is done in seconds.
I highly recommend this printer to anyone thinking of getting it as you won’t be disappointed.
Also the HP instant ink option is fantastic, it’s a quick and easy way of getting ink straight to your door when you need it.
Much easier and cheaper than hunting the shops for the right ink cartridges.
Tries to Be Too Cleve
This was a real pain to set up. I wanted to use it with a USB cable but the set-up guide said you should not use a USB cable for the set-up process so I had to use a wireless laptop. I got error messages saying ‘remove tape and cardboard’ when I had already done so and ‘close ink door’ when it was already closed. It would not go beyond this stage. I found that by creating a HP account — which I did not want to do — I was able to move forward. I don’t know if this was coincidence or manipulation. Either way, I was not impressed.
The set-up process also asked several times about turning down the free ink offers which I did not want and kept on trying to get me to change my mind. Again, not impressed. Whatever happened to printers that did what you told them to and not the other way around?
The one redeeming feature was that when I connected the printer to my non-wireless desktop computer it worked right away. If it were not for this, and the fact that this is one of the cheaper printers around, I would have given it less than a four-star rating.

Perfect mate to home office
I wanted to buy an all in one printer because I just started to work from home, and it is very useful in any office based business. I choose the HP Deskjet, because I had so many HP products in the past and all of them lasted really long and the quality is great. Setup was easy, just had to follow the steps and voila, it was ready to use. First I tried the printing option, it is just perfect and quick. Copying is the same and the best thing is that I don’t need any cables to attach as this uses wifi and you just need an app to your phone and you can start using it. Simple and great. You just need to plug in the power cable, download the app and setup the printer and ready to go. I cannot imagine my life without my new printer, and because of the long lasting cartridges I do not need to worry about spending a fortune on them. One of the best decision in my life. The colour is an extra, I like its white shape and size is just perfect for an office use, I can recommend it to but for everybody, even its a home or an office as this is useful and simple to use.

My Printer was extremely easy to set up, all you need to do is download app and connect to your wifi router, setup is pretty straight forward. Prints are very good quality, better quality takes more time. so if you are heavy user and you need high quality prints, it might be a little problem. price of cartridges are average, at the moment i cannot tell how long they last for. during my research i’ve discovered option to subscribe ink. Printer automatically orders new ones when needed. I do like this idea a lot. device does not make a lot of noise during printing, scanner is pretty quick and quality of scans is very good. I was testing my device on macbook pro, both devices worked together with no problems. If you scan a lot you can find very useful feature which is automatic feed tray for scanning. Overall quality of printer is very good for the price and i would recommend it for regular users
Great Little Printe
I’ve been using this printer for just over a week now and so far am very happy with it. I must admit that it took me a few attempts to get the ink cartridges in, but I am not very tech savvy and am sure others will find it easier. I have so far set up and printed from my phone which is so useful! I have printed a photograph which was very clear and the colours are great! I also made a homemade birthday card for my son which turned out really well – much better than a bought one. I am especially impressed with the fact that the printer comes with 6 months of free ink and I have signed up for the instant ink offer which will be a huge saving in the future. I will update further as I go along with any tips or issues I encounter.
A month in and I have printed quite a lot. The spare ink cartridges arrived shortly after I registered the printer so you definitely will not run out. Usage is monitored which will be useful when the 6 months is up – you can use this information to amend your ink subscription.

For work &needed to print off court of protection papers also very handy for photo .the printer tells you when it’s not not connected to WiFi. Also gives you the paperwork if there is a problem with it .very handy to know .

Not for technophobes - but worth it in the long ru
I bought this a few weeks back, from the start there were all kinds of connection/installation issues (as other reviewers have noted) “press this- no, not that, this-” etc etc etc.
BUT- when everything was up and running, the ink did its job, and with the six month instant ink thingy you get more ink free based on what you use (not monthly) but pay as you go as it were, I got my first lot a few days ago and been printing tons of stuff out.
And am more than happy (finally) with this product.
Not sure why people say it was difficult to setup
If you just install hp smart, or have it already installed, pronter pretty much installs itself. I used a referral link and got 3 additional months of free ink.

It was really easy and quick to install

Spent over 3 hrs trying to get this printer working over an Hr on the phone to HP tech support to no avail
try to return unit to Amazon who were most unhelpful all I asked was they send me a pre printed return label as the printer they had supplied is defective but they are unable or unwilling to do that. Is
Customer service a thing of the past !!! Update I have to eat my words ai was contacted by Amazon who swiftly ordered a replacement that arrived in 48 hrs 16 mins after delivery it was up and running fine faulty printer is now has a printed Label and awaiting collection tomorrow . Well done Amazo

Initially, I was sceptical about purchasing the item because of the reviews I read about problem with the installation. However, it turns out otherwise. Rather it was easy to install and the printing was fine. I’m very happy with the purchase.
Easy to use; fairly easy installatio
Recently ordered this printer and while the installation took some time, using the printer has been very smooth. The HP smart app is also quite interactive and has many useful features. Subscribed to the six months free HP+ instant ink service, which makes a lot of sense for me. Also, you can use the code p7yg5g to get an additional three months of instant ink service (in the interest of complete disclosure, I will also be getting 3 additional months of instant ink if you use this code!)

Good printer for the price. Does what is needed. So many people saying it’s hard to install but it’s the easiest printer I’ve used! Glad I ignored them and got it after looking at the reviews on Argos.
Excellent value printe
This is a perfect printer that doesn’t break the bank. Easy to set up from my iPhone and print from. You don’t get much ink for your first use but the ink is sent to you if you sign up and the level gets low once the printer realises this it sends it you automatically. Ink cartridges easy to swap out. All in all a great printer that will be used not just by us but the grandkids too.

This Printer is absolutely brilliant for its price range I have seen a lot of bad reviews but honestly I do not understand why. This little printer comes with an extended warranty 6 months ink trial via hp+ the print quality is perfectly adequate for letters, documents coloured graphs and even postage labels and will even give a nice photo if you set to best quality and choose the correct paper, I am able to print to this printer from anywhere via my phone tablet or the desktop scanner is so simple to use changing the ink even easier, This is a no brainer a shipping label printer for 128 or this beauty which does so much more for 44.99 (price correct at time of review) fully recommend do not be put off by the bad reviews. Great idea.
Printer is ideal and arrived early. Love rhe idea of not having to wait if i run out of ink, and appears to be cheaper running cost as well, but won’t find out till i run out of ink.

if you want a no fuss basic model than this is a good one. easy to use. printout is very good. inks aren’t as expensive as some. cant get compatible inks. I’m very pleased with this model.
It’s a good printer but installation is like a chore
I just wanted a printer to plug and play. It prints well but the wifi print set up took me an hour. I just wanted something to plug and play. Anyways, it’s a one time thing and it’s working fine now

I believe just like anyone else they were a bit skeptic about this product, seeing all the reviews about cheap and hard to installed, however that’s the opposite of what I’ve experience it took me like 10mins overall to unbox and setup, to connect to WiFi it’s really easy install the app follow the instructions and that’s it, so far I’ve been printing immediately as I received and it’s good not the best but it’s really good, the printing speed is fast when printing black but the colour takes time, not slow but not as fast to some printers I’ve experience, but this product is a 9/10 base on easily installed price and qaility.

Great value , easy set up.
Just needed a printer for the odd occasion like boarding passes so only needed cheap printer , I was a bit worried by the reviews on how difficult it was to set up , but hey this was so easy took me 15 minutes and I was printing what I needed and I’m no way a genius at these things . I didn’t opt for the free ink offer as I’m only likely to print a few pages every few months so that probably helped the set up time . So far so good .
It’s a good printer it was quite awkward to set up I ended up using a YouTube tutorial. When it prints in colours the quality isn’t as good as when it prints black and white so I’d say if you’re using it to do art prints bear that in mind. It would be perect for printing word documents, photocopying and scanning. I used some photo paper to print black and white prints and they came out okay. Hp instant ink is fantastic as it comes free for a few months with this purchase, you simply sign up and they send you ink when they see your printer is running low. For the amount ink costs and the price of the subscription I will probably continue the subscription when the free trial ends.

So before buying this I came to the reviews and all I could read was “very difficult to install” “hard to set up”
Well I had no problem with that actually it was very easy, step by step, you just download the hp smart app and it tells you what to do.
For the money good home printe
This printer came nicely boxed and looks nice considering the low price. I read the reviews prior to buying and thought it might be a painful installation process, but it was completely opposite; If you are competent with phones/computers it is simple to setup. Print quality is good if not a bit slow. Havent had the printer long will update if anything changes.
Quite hard to get it go with all the accounts ,paswords , calibrations and registering.
It works fine whenn all is set. The hp smart app is complex and with lots of usefull options to print including birthday cards , blank cv’s documents. Pictures can be printed. All from your phone. Note. For pictures it uses a lot of ink.
