Finally opened and quickly tested on my iMAC.

The voice quality sounds so much better using this microphone than the built-in one.

Very happy with the quality for such a low price.

This is a great microphone if you’re starting to stream, my suggestion is to add a pop filter, a stand and then you will be good to go. Sound quality is good and its very much plug and play, no spending hours configuring to get good audio out of it.

It has good sound quality, but bad noise suppression. This also could just be because I share a room with someone who is loud. That is the only complaint I could give though as everything about it is good. If you are reading this then I recommend getting it, if you are still hesitant then go to YouTube and watch at least 3 reviews by different people (that way you can get a general opinion on it)

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersFor a while my headset mic was picking up a lot of background noice so I gave in and bought this.

It is plug and play plus USB C connection is great. Long wire and the mic produces clear audio and my friends said they can hear me so much better.

The sound is absolutely excellent, but the one thing I would say is buy a boom arm, the little stand is too far away and picks up key clicks too much

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersAbsolutely love this microphone! It’s such a good step up from my previous one that was attached to my headset. The sound quality is very good. It sounds like a professional mic. Such a good price for what you’re getting.
Just a side note: If the blinking light on mute bothers you, download Hyperx Ngenuity, and install the firmware update. It’ll make the light stay off when it’s muted.

Really good value for money. Sound quality is great but needed a bit of fine tuning as it was on the quiet side to begin with (I used VoiceMeeter Banana to boost it). Mute button isn’t particularly useful for me as I have a foam cover on mine but it works perfectly.

Honestly if you consider yourself a live streamer or just want people to hear you clearly then this is the mic for you. I’ve been using this for live streaming and it works great especially is good with noise cancellation from other sounds which is good because I live in a noisy area

Plug and play – bit of adjustment in the control panel as the sensitivity of the mic is really strong! (that strong it could probably pick up a fly buzzing)

Folks can hear me clearly and I don’t need to shout on the mic anymore which makes the mrs happy.

Only a slight complaint is that the mic is so sensitive I personally would not recommend using the stand that comes with it as it will pick up keytyping and mouse movements. Instead I opted for a mic boom arm which costed around 20.

Got it for around 30-35, can’t complain for the price. Great voice quality. The only downside is that you have to keep it pretty close to your mouth, like 15cm

I’ve used this mic to record a podcast and found the audio quality to be excellent. Note: you need to have it relatively close to your face and pointed towards your mouth for the best quality. I had it on a stack of books in front of me when recording.

Decent enough Microphone, not quite as good as the Quadcast. Purchased this for my daughter and it has made a huge difference very clear and great value for money.

Good microphone for a budget stream set up with good audio quality and mute button on top is good if need to say something without stream getting it all in all good for price

I got this after complaints that my audio on meetings was poor, & after I read a review that recommended it as a budget option. It’s a sturdy solid feeling unit, small enough to sit discretely under my monitor & with an in-built mute button which is a bonus (though the red led is noticeable).
I have been told that my audio on meetings is now loud & crystal clear when speaking normally with it about 18 inches away.
It’s great that I no longer need to keep putting earphones into my ears or remain tethered to my desk holding a mic close to my mouth & talking loudly: my comfort level is vastly improved.
I’d recommend this as an essential bit of kit for a modern WFH office setup.

when tapping ur desk on anything like tht like the strand of the mic, loud bass sounds are inputted so an arm is recommended which is like 18 more

I can scream into it and listen back at my screams in extremely high quality. 5/5.

Audio quality is superb. Feels and looks premium. Excellent product for the price. I had it sitting next to my monitor for the first few weeks of usage. Eventually bought a stand and mounted it nearer to my face. Worked well in both scenarios – quality is understandably better the nearer it is placed to your mouth.

    No complaints at all!

I bought this alongside a microphone arm, though im sure the original stand would’ve worked just as well.
This microphone has significantly improved my audio quality from the old headset mic i used before, the design is sleek and compact but allows for good quality.
The tap to mute works flawlessly and is a great feature.

A very easy to use, decent quality mic to plug and play on the go.

This mic is pretty good for the price I bought is for, but this mic by itself with no software will pick everything up in your room, it is preferred that you do purchase a boom arm for the product with it as it reduces the vibrations of the desk. Other than that this product is great, there is now official software for the mic but its not professional, just the standard mic volume and mic mute.

I use this for just general gaming with my mates. Its able to get my voice across clearly without picking up the background noise plus you can tap the top and the microphone muted which is perfect for people who barge in.

I was looking for a base line microphone for Zoom/Teams calls. This device is perfect, casing looks and feels heavy, yet it’s small enough so it doesn’t take too much space on my desk.
I’ve mechanical keyboard in front of it (red gateron), and it doesn’t pick up clicking sound when I type.
    Highly recommended

Only use this for discord, but it sounds decent. Cable is plenty long so you can position it anywhere, stand tilts and locks as required. Nice capacitive mute button on the top. Only real gripe is that the stand needs some form of anti-vibration mounts, as it picks up the vibrations from my PC. Placed it on a rubber coaster to mitigate the issue.

The microphone has great quality and I do love it. but one issue is its stock stand is not shock absorbant. Meaning you are going to pick up thuds and loud keyboards etc, Although thanks to its nice universal fitting I’m sure you can get a good shock absorber included stand somewhere for it. And for the price its wonderful

Golden Review Award: 13 From Our UsersBought this mic for gaming and discord. The big draw for me was its capacitive mute button and its compactness. It sound is much better than my old one (some Creative one that was bundled with my old sound card), looks neat and has a small profile so its out of the way. Perfect for my use for not a lot.

A few tips some might find useful is that if you turn the mic sideways it reduces vibrations from anything on your desk – like mouse movements and keyboard presses, which is super handy if you’re just gonna use the out of the box. Otherwise other people might not appreciate the banging and thuds on the other end.

Another is.. you can actually get rid of the blinking and blinding red light when muted and on by updating the things firmware on HyperX’s website. Just one tap to mute and light is gone. Small thing but makes it so much better to use!

Golden Review Award: 13 From Our UsersGreat piece of kit, it took a while getting used to having a mic in front of me rather than just wearing my headset, but soon forgot it was even there.

I’ve not tried to record my voice to listen back to the quality of the microphone, but my friends say that this is the clearest they have ever heard me on Discord.

Having the mute button on the mic was the main reason I chose to go for this over some of the others, and the bright static red light while unmuted is a great indicator that others can hear you.

The stand that comes with mic does the job, it’s also better than some of the others, but to get the best out of this microphone I’d suggest to also pick up a decent desk mounted arm.

The only thing that kind of annoys me about this microphone is the flashing red light while unmuted, I would rather the light just be off as it gets distracting while playing games alone / where a mic isn’t needed.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersWhat an incredible bit of kit from HyperX. Very much under the radar and not very marketed here in the UK from what I can find.

I was expecting sub par audio quality and something just to use on a wim but honestly I’m impressed. Crystal clear quality, much better than the Razer Seiren Mini which seems to be it’s only competitor. Where in the Razer you get tinny, somewhat echoing sounds, you won’t find those here.

Since it’s only use to me is right in front of where I sit, the single sensor is more than enough to capture what’s required and still has somewhat directional capabilities, but if you need more than that you’ve got the likes of Blue or HyperX’s quadcast etc.

    Absolute bargain, would recommend.
