Essential to have
Light weight, very easy to use and reassuring to have in the house.

Obviously hoping never to have to use this fire ladder but it certainly seems study and easy to use and is great for peace of mind at a reasonable price.

How can I rate something that I hope I never have to use. I’ve looked at it and it seems robust enough for the task, but if I unwrap it, it’s a bit like a parachute, I don’t want to risk folding it up wrong. I hope it stays in its box.
We have single-skin walls, so this item fitted our windows fine. The thickness of your walls needs to be 11 inches or less, according to the instructions. Ours are 10″ and it fits fine. Obviously haven’t tried to escape with it yet, but on testing the attachment it attaches easily and seems sturdy.
fire ladde
I feel safer with this in my third storey bedroom. there’s no other way out and I didn’t fancy jumping out the window. I did try it out by hanging it all. only problem is is there’s another window underneath and, if there was a fire in that room, I might get a bit hot! still I could move quick I suppose. quite heavy and takes up a fair amount of room. but, like I said, worth it!

Excellent service and product really good for my guest house it stows away without taking up to much space and and is a lot cheaper than a permanant fire escape.
Escape ladde
I bought this for work, to give a second escape route to a team of people. It looks very sturdy and will certainly be easy to use – let’s just hope they never have to! However, if they do, then this is the ideal product. Expensive though!
I hope I never have to use this for real, but I am glad to see it will bear my not inconsiderable weight very well. The reassurance possessing this item gives is imeasurable. I have a clear plan – throw the mattress out, followed by the cats, (preferably onto the mattress), then me (down the ladder). It is best to get these things clear in your mind before the necessity!! 🙂
