Lightweight & versatile
Used for locking several snowboards together overnight in a ski room at a hotel. Perfect design making it compact when rolled up but long enough to thread through our snowboards when securing them overnight.
Does a job but not sure how sturdy it is
Bought a couple of these to lock up my panniers during a recent bike packing trip. Very easy to use and is very flexible. I don’t know how sturdy it would be if someone wanted to break it. It would certainly deter the opportunist thief but if someone really wanted to break it I don’t think it would take much.
Great for securing all of our families bikes together as it’s quite long. Easy to use. A great idea. Decent quality.
Great little bike lock
Really happy so far – park my bike at work, so should be a secure sight, but this offers a nice upgrade from the zip-tie style lock I previously used.
Nice and lightweight, and small to fit in my bag, but long enough to do both wheels which is nice.

Ingenious
I love this idea, very clever way of tethering one thing to another with a lightweight and strong cable. Its never going to stop a determined, tooled up thief but that’s not what it’s for. Had no problem changing the combination, just followed the clear instructions on the box and it was done in 30 seconds. Love I!
Good item but the instructions lack clarity
Really useful travel lock, small enough to be portable/handy but sturdy. Opening the lock requires the combo to be set, then a click of two buttons so a thief would have to spend a while going through combinations.
The instructions for setting the combo are not great, the screw needs to be turned 90degress whilst being pushed in at the same time. I thought mine was faulty until I realised this.

Not a lock for leaving your bike in a risky place, but for nipping into the shop, or local bike rides to the pub is great.

Substantial lock
Once face to face with this lock it is twice as substantial (in weight and size) than the photos may suggest. Although not used for a work assignment yet but it looks like one intended purpose for it could not be used because the end knob is too big to be pushed through a zip pull. That leaves the other option which is to thread it through luggage handles which still earns it 4 stars.
Initially I left a bad review. The instructions to set the code for the combination lock are not clear – just diagrams in fact. Basically you have to turn the small screw at the base of the combination lock with a precision screwdriver to set the code. It did take me a while to work this out and try as I might the screw would not turn and I was a tad frustrated! However I contacted Amazon and they sent me a new lock by return and this time the screw turned easily and the code was then easy to set. I actually use this to padlock my outboard motor to my boat and it was the only lock that I found that was suitable because of its long, thin yet super-strong cable and it has kept my outboard safe. So I repented and changed my review but deducted once star because of the poor instructions!
I love this cable lock. I am not using it to lock a bike! I am primarily using it to fix my motorcycle Jacket and Helmet to my motorcycle, well so far no one took it away. The lock itself is easy to setup (for changing the code you need a screwdriver). It’s light weight – I would probably not use it to secure a very expensive bike, as I guess that you could cut the cable relatively, but that’s a common thing with these type of locks. Anyway it’s my second one (for my wife’s jacket and Helmet) the first one works perfectly since 2 Years.
Heavy duty
Bought for a trip to India now cancelled due to the pandemic 🙁 however I was really impressed with how heavy duty these are. For the money I was expecting something a lot less substantial! I’m sure they will be well used on future trips.

attention, pour configurer le code, vous devez d’un tournevis tte plate, … pensez donc configurer le code avant de partir en voyage
My partner has had one of these for ages, and uses it to secure her cycle in some dodgy areas. the cable is a good diameter to ward of anyone without substantial bolt cutters,. So I have bought one to secure my Motorcycle jackets and helmets to my bike when walking in town etc .
The set up is easy , when you realise the setting screw is already 90 degrees the opposite way, more of a numpty problem than a real issue .
I wish they did them in shorter lengths as the 2 mt can be a little bit long and fiddly .
The Plastic cable covering is robust without problems of wear or splitting (going of my partners in use for 2 years ) .
So Im very happy with it, and am going to buy a second one, , get the cable cut shorter and have the looped industrial crimped at a local engineering works for the perfect lock for me

Me ha gustado mucho por su versatilidad para distintos usos y ocasiones. Es ligero pero hiper resistente y no hace falta llevar una llave que puedes perder y encontrarte con un problema. El recubrimiento plstico es flexible y tiene un tono ahumado. Queda bien y es agradable al tacto. No le pongo 5 estrellas porque el candado no es muy preciso y da un poco de desconfianza. Otra razn es porque el candado slo bloquea la sirga para abrir ms el lazo pero no para cerrarlo. Debera bloquearse en ambos sentidos. Para solucionar esto, le he puesto una brida como tope para que el lazo no se estreche a partir de un punto concreto. Esto es til slo cuando, como en mi caso, lo quieres para algo con una medida especfica y no quieres que se cierre ms estrecho que ese punto porque puede estropear lo que encadenas, dejando sin embargo hacerlo todo lo grande que quieras (estando desbloqueado, claro).
Podra mejorar, pero lo recomiendo.
Took a bit of fiddling to reset the code, but once done the product performed perfectly. We used it whilst on a road trip, to secure our cases in the vehicle and in hotel rooms. It gave us peace of mind. The product is not too heavy or bulky, but seems quite a good sturdy deterrent.
Bought these as an alternative to the Pacsafe system for use on my Magadan motorcycle panniers. It is ideal for the Job and has another secure loop on the top when locked which can be used for securing other items like your crash helmet. Probably as secure as hard pannier locks.
Once setting the sliding lock in to position. I decided to test to if it would slide once locked, great news is that it didn’t (enabling me to keep my pack safe while traveling). Bad news is the teeth bite into the plastic sheath making it very hard to pass the position that was once tightened to.
I bought this cable lock for one main reason and that was to secure my snipe satellite dish to the frame of my caravan. I am fully aware of the limitations of these type of locks but the holes around the snipe base are small in diameter and this cable lock fits through perfect . For that reason I would recommend .
out of all the options for securing your stuff on the go and in hotel rooms, this is the best thing we’ve found. we use to tether metal briefcases to furniture frames, appliances, radiators and so on. it works very well and will require a potential thief to come prepared with either a decent bold cutter, saw or some time on their hands to pick the combination lock. if you’ve got a sturdy briefcase, this saves you a few Kensington locks to carry around with you.
