Logitech products are just fantastic !!

I’ve had many speaker systems from Logitech for different rooms in the house & they’re all just a brilliant quality item & affordable too.

Excellent desktop speakers, especially for their modest price. The lack of an independant bass control doesn’t matter. These speakers will be connected to a console/PC/Mac/tablet or even TV – all which have built in or downloadable extensions to browsers for graphic equalizing.

    Great! Sound Except,
    Subwoofer is kinda scratchy!
The speakers have distortion at high volumes.

    Nice Remote! Volume Control

    Amazing Budget Speakers!

Overall good speakers, did not use them much, never expected them to be great. Used mostly for watching YouTube and stuff like that. Recommend headset for gaming as there is no such thing as 2.1 gaming speakers. Cable is kinda stiff and ‘heavy’, kept pulling volume controller off the desk. After 3 years and 10 months it just stopped working.

The sound on the system is good for the price, if a bit tinny at high volumes. Some reviews thought there needed to be a volume control on the subwoofer. I disagree, I found the bass about right and because the subwoofer is behind my desk and the PC I would not have been able to get to it anyway. The thing that makes this 5 stars for me is the pad which goes on my desk, meaning that it is the simplest thing in the world to change the volume, switch the system off or use earphones which cut out the speakers. All within 6 inches of my mouse mat! Brilliant!

Good replacement for my 10 year old wharfedale speakers that stopped working. Bass is decent and the sound is really good. These can go pretty loud aswell and still crystal clear.

I like to listen to classical music a lot while I’m working, and the sound from these speakers is the best I’ve heard from a typical PC combo. The trebles are clear without being reedy, and the bass rich without distorting. They pack a hefty punch too.
    Excellent value for the cash.

hese have been very impressive for a pc setup, the sound has been very good, the 5.1 works very good, and the bass is deep, with good mid and treble, games and videos have been amazing, cant complain at all, the remote works great, with a lot of options to set presets, and manual adjustments, all the functions to control the speakers are done via remote, so don’t lose the remote, would recommend to anyone looking for decent sound for pc and not have to worry too much about the budget. excellent speakers, have had for a while now, and still performing excellently, you get ample length of wires to spread the speakers out, the bass box has a great blue led indicator and covered with a nice mesh grill, as are the additional speakers.

These blow away my old speakers, crikey! Now when I listen to AC/DC, so do the neighbours, haha (if I had any). Pros: great design, decent clarity, tons of bass. Cons: tons of bass – I need to find an equaliser app to trim the bass back a wee bit, the house will fall to bits. Can’t go far wrong for the money with a bit of fine tuning. Absolutely booming.

Bought for a child to use in place of laptop builtin speakers. Does the job very well, easy to (dis)connect. Cable length enough to run across desk and down to sockets. Quality of build appears sturdy.

Given the size the sound is impressive. It does lack a little in the mid range but so much that’s it’s a big problem, especially when you consider the size. Impressive volume, easy access to volume control, and not bad looking. Very happy with the purchase.

  15. Jeffrey Escobar says:

Very respectable sound quality for the price, infinite improvement over standard monitor speakers. Cable lengths are decent, could have done with a few inches more leading to each speaker but still manageable for stands either side of a double bed.

I needed something that would improve my awful TV sound. After trying and failing to connect a dedicated sound bar, I thought I would give this a try. The sound improved immediately. Plug into the headphone socket and mains and it’s that simple.
It’s certainly not Hi-fi. The bass response can be a bit boomy and that cannot be controlled. The sound can be separately controlled with a wired hand control or via the TV remote. Placement of the bass box can vary the sound. If you want to improve the TV sound it’s worth trying it out. There is plenty of sound options on my TV and that can control it as well.

I use this in my small home study and it provides a clear, rich and bass sound. My other half thought I was having a party in the study when I had the music playing while I was working. I am by nature a bit of cheapskate and usually buy speakers half the price of this one. Glad I didn’t in this case as the speakers give a fantastic sound.

I had a Logitech for about 10 years but recently one of the speakers gave up the ghost. As I don’t use loudspeakers very often, I opted the this model which was reasonably priced. It is a bit “plasticky”, especially the subwoofer but the sound it produces is more than acceptable. I wouldn’t recommend it for anyone wanting hi-fi

I’ve been wanting to replace my old speakers for quite a while due to a dodgy audio cable on it which is unrepairable, these have done the job fairly well plus have a fairly small form on the desktop (I prefer to hear sound not look at giant rgb speakers). They aren’t quite perfect as they lack a bass control which drove me mental at first trying to get the best out of it but after downloading a free program that let me adjust the frequency range levels managed to get it sounding nearly as good at the old speakers I had which did have their own bass control on them.

I will say they have the added advantage the headphone/power/volume is all on its own convenient extender which helps if you have speakers in a place you don’t want to keep reaching at to adjust.

Highly recommend to anyone looking for a solid but fairly discreet 2.1 speaker setup.

Product arrived with several marks on the subwoofer, nothing that a bit of cleaning didn’t fix, but it’s not what i’d expect from a new product.

Quality of sound is great, and the max volume is enough to shake the entire room.

Bass is surprisingly good for the price, paired with my sound card it’s a great deal.

Very good speakers with excellent audio range and volume. Worth the extra over a basic pair, hands down!

The only complaint is the high bass, which has no control – short of adapting the audio profile on the device you are plugged into, your music and gameplay is going to be veerrrrryyy bass-y.

  23. Michael Fitzgerald says:

Logitech have produced a good quality and well-priced audio solution for boosting the audio output for laptops and allowing for sound output where monitors etc. don’t have speakers built in. The speakers and subwoofer provide a loud and punchy audio output that certainly sounds better than laptop speakers can manage, but audio can be a little muddied and it’s a far cry from anything audiophile’s would consider good quality. However, for less than 40 that’s totally fine.

Considering the low price the build quality is decent, the speaker cables that plug directly into the subwoofer are of a sensible length for most uses (2 meters or so) and the unit can be easily connected to any 3.5mm headphone jack output. There’s no bass control lever for the subwoofer, which is a shame, but the pre-calibrated audio is nicely balanced, happily providing punchy bass delivery rather than ground shaking rumbles. The in-line control box is another useful feature, offering an On/Off button, volume control, and a 3.5mm headphone output jack.

Having tried out a few different 2.1 (stereo and separate subwoofer) computer speaker systems this is one of the best I found below 50 and makes experiencing music, film and gaming on the laptop more enjoyable.

all good, good sound, good value BUT like other said i wish you could change out the auxiliary cable. it’s soldered in and i’m getting serious interference when cable is plugged into my PC speaker jack beside a USB cable. so actual aux cable is kinda crap as well, should be shielded more. still, i can avoid by just plugging this speaker in the front and using back of the PC for all other cables. still great value for money!

This is an affordable system and as such the sound isn’t knock-out, but it’s fine for a smaller room without too many people in it. More of a desk set then something you’d use to get the party started!

I’m using this system to amplify sound from an Amazon Echo Spot, and it’s just what was needed. The sound is warm but clear and well balanced. This system took seconds to set up and was simple to use immediately. The speakers are quite small, meaning they’ll fit on the smallest of shelves.
The only drawback is the lack of separate control for the subwoofer. But at this price, it’s hard to complain.

What can I say? I had the older version of these for some time and was very happy. My son stole them for his new PC so thought I would get the new ones. They are basically the same ones in new clothing (small speakers anyway). Good crisp sound and quality base. The speakers are small enough to sit on my desk without taking much space and the subwoofer fit nicely under my desk. Music sounds great and games sound immersive. Great for the money.

Sound is at times tinny depending on what you connect them to. If connected to a mobile phone they sound perfect and the bass response is ( at times) very good for the price range , but if connected to a tv you have to fiddle around with the TVs sound settings to get good sounds for either music or gaming/film respectively . Obviously this is because each different sector has been mastered differently , you can get the best use out of these either from gaming , used as film surround sound or plugged into a mobile phone for music.

Golden Review Award: 11 From Our UsersI think these speakers are really good value for money. I stuck with Logitech speakers when my others finally gave up after about 5 years. These seem to be the same kind of great quality. The sound is clear and they go very loud. I especially love that the volume and power control are attached to a separate part and not the speakers themselves, meaning you can place the speakers out of reach and have the little control part near by, much easier!

The only major drawback for me is that whilst it has a subwoofer which is powerful, there doesn’t appear to be any separate bass control to turn this down (it’s quite booming, if anyone knows where this is, please let me know!). This is the only reason it lost one start for me – I’m happy with this product and would definitely recommend it! Great price at Amazon as always.

very happy with the depth of sound for the price I paid. as well as personal use I use them in work and they can provide enough volume to for a village hall. only concern is that the base speaker is located on the bottom exterior of the unit rather than protected inside the box so have to be careful with moving it from location to location but I guess the intention is that it would spend most of its life in one location.

Only thing I don’t like is that you can’t control the bass levels. I have flatmates and bass carries through walls wayyyy more than just sound so I have to lower the entire volume just so I don’t bother them.

Great little system delivering a good sound from my Mac. Plug and play, so easy to set up. I put the sub woofer under the desk, speakers take little space, gives clear reproduction of speech (radio streaming) and music. Separate volume and power switch is very useful.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersGreat speakers, handy to have the desktop switch for volume and power. I had bought the Creative A250 speakers before I bought this but had to return those as they kept switching off after around 10 minutes. After trying several different ways to solve the issue I gave in and returned those and bought these. I must say the sound quality wasn’t actually quite as good but I’m willing to compromise for the addition of a desktop power switch (rather than on the side of one of the speakers) and not having to switch the speakers back on every 10 mins.

Anyway, the speakers themselves have a nice full sound and the volume is adequate to fill a room, I haven’t needed to push the volume all the way yet which is good as it has more to give if the room gets noisier. The Sub is a good size and fits comfortably on the floor under my desk.

They maybe modest speakers but when I played a dramatic YouTube clip with music everyone said wow nice sound system.

    PS 2020/12/28
I’ve read some reviews where people have said the bass is too loud. I don’t think it is but you can usually control bass from your PC’s audio control panel. Others have said that they are not loud enough. These are personal speakers for when you are sitting at your PC, they are plenty loud enough! However they would be no good for a party as you need a lot more sound. Obviously spend more money and get bigger speakers, duh. I recently bought a sound bar and immediately realised my mistake. Soundbars for 45 are rubbish compared to these for 45.

Golden Review Award: 48 From Our UsersFor the purpose of this review, we must travel to the Logitech R&D division, and listen in on a conversation between their top speaker system design engineers, Barry and Dean.

“Dean! The Boss says we need to create a new budget speaker system. What shall we do?”
“What’s wrong with the old X-210, Barry? I’ve got one of those myself, it’s pretty good. Nice bright sounding top end, good mid-range for vocals, and a lot more bass than you’d expect for the money. It’s even got a headphone socket on it. All you have to do is plug it in the green 3.5mm socket on the back of your PC, then into the mains, switch it on and you’re good to go. My kid could set it up! ”
“The Boss says we need to update it, and he wants the update out in the shops ASAP!”
“Blimey! What’s the budget on that, Barry?” They only retail for about 50, and it’s not like we’re going to sell a billion of them.”
    “Ah. Well…”
    “Well what?”
“Well the Boss says there’s no additional money beyond our current R&D budget.”
    “WHAT?!”
    “Yeah, I know…”
“Barry, you’re telling me the Boss wants a new budget speaker system, ASAP, and with no additional R&D money?
“That’s about it, Dean. What are we going to do?”
“No worries, my son! Here’s what we’re going to do: We’ll take the old X-210 sub-woofer and re-badge it. Change where we put the Logitech logo. Also, give it a bigger number: Forget the old X-210, we’ll call this one the Z-313. Sounds completely different, yeah?”
“I’m with you. But what about the top speakers?”
“You remember we both did a design for the speakers before, but the Boss preferred your design?”
    “Yeah?”
“Well this time we’ll use *my* design, that the Boss rejected last time. We’ll use the same speaker units, but bung them in my speaker case design. My design was better anyway, because it had a bass port in the front.”
“Dean, those little speakers don’t have any bass to port, so why would you put a bass port on them?”
“If you’ve got a better design right now for free Barry, let’s see it.”
    “Good point, Dean.”
“Thank you. We can use the same control switch on it too.”
“Oooh! Are you sure, Dean? The old one was always a bit dodgy. You have to wiggle the one on your X-210 to get it to work sometimes.”
“Needs must Barry. Now, you go tell the Boss we’re hard at the re-design, and I’ll meet you down the pub. Cheers!”
    “Cheers, Dean!”

And there we have an insight into the tireless efforts of the Logitech engineers, doing their best on a minimal budget, and coming up with something that’s worth buying, but not exemplary in any way, and is barely an evolution of an old design. (See pics)

But at the end of the day, the old design was pretty good (dodgy wires aside). For the price, I reckon Barry and Dean have earned that pint. Recommended.

A good Logitech design is renamed but mostly unchanged

Golden Review Award: 10 From Our UsersI didn’t have high hopes for this speaker system.
I tend not to spend a massive amount of speakers by my MacBook as it’s not my primary source for listening to music but having spent a tenner or so on a smaller set of Logitech speakers I didn’t expect too much for a set at 37.00, including a sub.
    I’m blown away.
For 37.00 this set is superb.
Quite bass heavy yes and a dial for nudging it down would help but like I say, for the price this is an excellent kit.

I do like them, but coming from a more expensive set that broke. I can clearly tell the difference in strength of bass and combined clarity. It seems to play mainly the high pitch sounds the best, but lacks the low pitch strength. So sounds are clear but have no bass behind it unless u turn it way up high volume.

For the price vs quality, its good. If you can spend more though, do so for the extra bass, especially for gaming. I miss the loud booms of explosions!

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersI bought this to replace an old Logitech speaker system that gave about six years of good service until one day it just stopped working (power supply inside the sub woofer failed I think).
The Z313 meets my needs. It gives reasonably good quality sound in a bedroom when connected directly to an iPod or iPhone, or for Apple AirPlay when connected to an Apple Airport Express. It is compact and unobtrusive with the sub-woofer on the floor beneath a desk.
At the price charged it represents good value in my opinion.

Great sound quality, literally perfect for general use with a computer. Obviously not ground breaking high end for music or movies but what more do you want? Very fast delivery in good condition.

Would be 5 stars but a control for the bass on the sub would be nice (it is perfectly set but would be nice to turn up when needed).

I really wanted to get some speakers for my TV as, like most TVs these days, the sound is where they seem to take the hit. My ‘snug’ room isn’t the biggest so didn’t want to fill it with a giant surround system, and I didn’t want to have to spend a fortune. Having seen these on HOTUKDEALS I though why not give it a go at that price, not expecting much at all.

Honestly, what a pleasant surprise. Very bassy subwoofer considering it’s a cute little block and 2 speakers that really give clear sound, especially to voices which I find is always a problem with any sort of sound system.

I think it’s fairly obvious that you get what you pay for – so there aren’t some ‘modern comforts’ you’d probably expect. There’s no IR/remote to turn the system on or off, theres just a little box attached to turn it on or off (which i have put on the floor, as I can turn on or off with my foot like a kick peddle!) and theres no option to change around sound from any individual speakers or the sub itself.

However, if you are after a system to boost your sound and make the room rumble from the bass, this system is just an utter bargain, and has the ability to be turned up to one hell of a level too. Colour me impressed.

For the price these are a nice set of speakers, perfect for general entertainment; I currently use this in conjunction with a projector and the results are quite satisfying, easily filling a 12ft x 10ft room. Most of the details in the audio are clear but the bass can sound a bit ‘muddy’ at times. Speaking of the bass, it can’t be controlled independently of the overall volume so the louder the music, the heavier the bass which can be quite overwhelming at times.

These are a decent pair of speakers for the price and I am happy with them but an additional dial to control the bass would have been nice.

I am somewhat of a sound nerd. I usually use Astro A50’s with digital 7.1 surround when gaming but have found the noise cancellation on these are too good so found myself looking for a set of speakers for casual sessions where the full headset wasn’t necessary.

Looking around I could not ignore the number of positive reviews for the Z313’s and given the price, it would be rude not to.

Ordered late last night and they arrived 12 hours later. Unbelievable service from amazon. The setup was very simple and the speakers gratified the purchase almost immediately. Loading up Forza Horizon 3 the satellites sounded beautiful with the soundtrack. Then the subwoofer kicked in with the burble of my engine. Holy cow it was almost like sitting in the car. The sub kicks out a very satisfying hum as the car moves off.

I think I prefer these speakers now to my 250 headset.

Golden Review Award: 66 From Our UsersI am a Music Student from Cambridge and I regularly use a variety of excellent sound systems to listen to music on. I was skeptical of these speakers, given their price, but trusted the reviews by others and went ahead. These speakers are simply sublime. Once you have plugged in your device using the 3.5mm cable provided, you will be delighted by rich mid/treble sounds and an appropriate level of bass frequencies. Yes, these won’t give you quite the extended frequency range of the Logitech Z533’s Logitech Z533 UK-Plug Multimedia Speaker System with Subwoofer , but honestly, these remain to be impressive speakers. Their only pitfall is that the sub-woofer does not give you the utility to adjust its volume separately and this would be a nice option to have. Nevertheless, I listen to a wide variety of music and as of yet, I have not experienced any dissatisfaction regarding bass volume.

    Pro’s
    – These can be turned up loud without distorting the sound.A variety of music sounds good on them. Vocals are crystal clear, orchestral sounds are rich and electronic music sounds sharp and defined.
    – A nice matt-black finish and they don’t collect dust easily. They look more expensive than they actually are.
    – The cables are long enough to space the speakers by out 2 meters, whilst still hiding them behind a cabinet etc.

    Con’s
    – The volume of the bass speaker is not adjustable. I have not yet found its volume to be over/underwhelming, but nonetheless it would be nice to have the option there to adjust it.
    – The tweeter speakers could be heavier .. if you catch the cord on something they will move about quite easily. I purchased some ‘Command Strips’ to hold them down. Command Picture Hanging Strips Value Pack

Overall, a great set of speakers for the price. You won’t be disappointed!

Bought to replace 10 year old similar Logitech speakers which were still working great but on/off switch attached to one of the satellite speakers was failing. Wanted to stay with this make as I trust their products and have to say I am really pleased with them. Great for music and gaming in small office and look great as well. Really good value for money. I hope they last as long as my previous set.

Well packaged, easy to set up, not too heavy or big, great sound and long enough wires to spread the speakers out equally around you. However, the subwoofer does not come with a control for bass. You can only control the bass through an equaliser on your PC. The headphone option is a great idea however the volume cannot be controlled by the remote, again only through your PC can the volume be changed. Overall this product is very good, I would recommend it if you’re after some bass and not too concerned about the 2 minor issues mentioned.

I bought this to replace old broken speaker set up, the sub woofer sits neatly on the shelf on PC desk (it’s heavy solid unit and very sturdy) the speaker cone is underneath which means I can stand items either side and so utilising space without compromising sound, I’m very impressed with the base sound this unit has, I realised how poor was previous system was when I heard this. The speakers sit neatly either side slightly behind the monitor, these are sturdy for size and have very clear sound quality. One very useful feature is the cable with the volume and on/off switch and a green led light so you know if its on or off. You can place it anywhere around your monitor where it’s convienient for you, most PC sound systems have the controls on the sub woofer. I have a bad back so this feature is invaluable! Also I discovered if you accidentally leave it switched on once your PC is powered off it will switch itself off after a short while.
This particular unit has a EU plug but I bought a two pin to three pin adapter, so it looks like a normal plug, I found that the adapter supplied was a very poor fitting, easily solved for less than 3.00.
All in all I would recommend this sound system for PC and Logitech is value for money.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI Have just had these logitech z313 speakers delivered to me, one day late but who cares, I’m delighted with them, I bought them for my Roberts digi radio for work as not enough power coming from the single speaker of the radio, I unpacked them onto the worktop in the kitchen just below my other Roberts digi radio and was impressed by the usual sturdy logitech build, easy to set up even if your not a music and gadget freak like me. One big TIP from me is plug them into the ear phone socket then turn your radio volume to full Volume, then slowly turn your speaker controller up to suit, BUTTTT, if disconnecting the speakers ALWAYS Remember to turn down your radio volume first cause you don’t want to blow your radio speaker. I’ve had to sets of Logitech speakers in the past, Both the X-230’s the best speakers i’ve ever linked up to a radio or computer, BUTT, They don’t make them anymore and to buy the equal sounding speakers will cost you more than a Tonne, So I read the reviews for the Z313 on Amazon and knew the wattage would be enough, anyway a bit of DJ chit chat and a few Adds on Absolute Radio and the next track to be played was “Somebody told me” by the Killers. The start of the record has some nice bass on it and the Sub Woofer coped amazingly, crystal clear sound from the speakers was pleasure to my ears. Enough said, Buy Em There a great set of 2.1 Speakers and I hope this review helps you make your decision easier.

Good value for money. These speakers give clear enough sound when playing at normal levels. However the cabling is annoying! The cables for the speakers are too short, so unless you are able to draw the cable directly behind your speakers and down to the floor you might need an extension. The cable for the “remote” is also really short which to me means I have to position my sub to the side to make the remote even reach my desk. This isn’t a big issue, as it’s the sub, but it looks odd.
Also I have not found a way to increase or reduce the volume for just the sub meaning I have to reduce or increase the base on my computer to get the amount I want, which does not give the same result as simply having a knob on the sub itself.

Despite it’s faults I will still give it a 4/5 as they look good and have a good sound for the price you have to pay

This is the second set of Logitech speakers I’ve bought and once again I’m impressed. These speakers have an amazing quality, and have enough power to fill my medium-sized bedroom. The crossover frequency is optimal – providing a rich bass without localizing the subwoofer. Connected to my PC with some high quality MP3s, I have a perfect listening experience.

The only minor downside to these speakers is the absence of a bass volume control. My other set of speakers are the Z506 which come equipped with this feature. However, this is more of a “nice-to-have” – not a deal breaker.

I absolutely love these speakers!! They have awesome sound quality. My last set were JBL’s at twice the price and no where near as nice sounding as these Logitech Z313. It’s amazing how the music can be listened to throughout the whole house without having to be blaring loud in the room where they are located. It’s very handy having a headphone port close by so that when I get a skype call, I can easily plug them in and talk privately. After hearing the sound from these speakers, if I ever needed another set, I would be willing to pay a lot more for them. I would highly recommend these to anyone looking for good rich sound at a decent price.
