Heavy but sturdy
Got these at the start of medical school, 8 years later they are still going strong. Everyone was getting Littmann Classic IIIs and over time many have had to upgrade. These were slightly higher priced than the Littmann’s but are Cardiology-grade. Lifetime warranty and free parts for life program make them the obvious choice although I have not had to make use of that. I do not see any reason to upgrade these, and I hope they last the rest of my career. The only downside to this stethoscope is it’s the weight but I suppose that is a trade-off with durability.

Absolutely loved this it is on the expensive side but well worth the investment. It’s really good quality the rose gold colour is gorgeous. It doesn’t look like a child’s toy stethoscope which I found with some stethoscopes and this stethoscope looks professional. One negative I would say is it is a little heavy however it’s something if you wore regularly you would get use to it.
I wanted the best available and this was the internet favorite. But my box had already been opened and the item used. But otherwise I still have not found a rust proof, light weight, stethoscope with extra bells for pediatrics through geriatrics. Better than this one.
i got this for NP school—required. I love my welch allen Tycos stethoscope and use it daily as an RN, but this one is very nice. I LOVE the different sized bell/diaphragm attachments. it’s a very good product.
I originally bought the MDF cardiology classic cardiology scope because someone walked off with my very expensive Littmann cardiology scope and the MDF was on sale for very cheap. I absolutely loved it. The sound was much better than my Littmann and the earpieces fit my head much better so it was more comfortable. I split the tubing on that after 4 years. I decided to get the ER MDF because I thought it would be more versatile for working in the ED. This model works just as great as my original and I love that I can convert to a pedi scope whenever I want. I was just going to replace the tubing on my other model, but I decided to splurge on the 22K gold model and I’m glad because it is gorgeous!!!
I love this better than Any of the several Littman scopes I’ve had in the past, in terms of quality, acoustics and price!!! Get this scope, you won’t be disappointed.
I’ve been a nurse for 13y, this is my 3rd stethoscope & 2nd MDF. I have no use for other brands as I have been so spoiled using my MDF’s. I have nurses where I work ask to borrow it every day!!!!
Amazing quality
I got this as a gift from my boyfriend and its amazing. I’d had it for over a year and lost the adult diaphragm so I contacted the company and signed up on their website and they fed ex ed a replacement to me for free. Excellent customer service! The only thing I would say is its a bit heavy and becareful with the diaphragm and bell, because they are obviously interchangeable between adult, infant and paediatric they are removable and mine fell off a few times that’s how I lost it.
