My husband and son loved doing this together. It was a little confusing to set up for us, but once we got it we were good. Very solid swards, didn’t break or even slightly bend. They do hurt a little if you get hit very hard. Overall great product!

I bought this for my son. We had already had a problem with the toy before and I had returned that set. I was leery to buy this again, but he wanted it and so I bought another one. We haven’t had any problems the second time around. It’s worked great. Be cautious when plugging the gun into the chest plate. The cord broke off into the chest plate the first time around.

Good fun, although be careful you don’t break things! Which our children weren’t … four stars.

This arrives in a really nicely printed cardbox box with a carry handle & measures approx 61cm x 10.5cm x 34cm.

It would be easy to wrap (if you have large sheets of paper) & make a brilliant present.

This looks like it’s going to be a decent toy before you even open the box & it’s tons of fun.

Inside, you get your 2 shields, 2 swords & 2 guns.

You will need 6 x AAA batteries & a small Phillips head screwdriver to fit the batteries in order to use this, so if you are giving this as e.g. a Christmas gift, don’t forget to make sure you have a stock in to avoid disappointment.

This turned out to be much better & far more fun than I was expecting.
You can use the blasters from quite far away, so you can pop round the door at the other end of the room to shoot your opponent (or hide in ambush waiting for them to come looking for you) & get them from afar (also comes in handy if you are a tired parent who wants to play while they sit on the sofa & leave the kids to do all the running around).
Close up, you can still use the blasters but you also have the sword option.
The swords are made of foam so while you still don’t want them to be whacked as hard as they could be, they don’t hurt as much as I was concerned they might if they get you.

Everything makes satisfying noises, although I think they sound more like ‘space’ toy noises than ninja noises but in the heat of high tech ninja battle, who cares?

Far from being a toy that got played with once, then left in a heap this has been pulled out again & again.
Every visitor has found it hard to resist having a go too, particularly with the swords.

The only thing nobody liked about this was the way you are supposed to sheath the sword on your back.
It’s hard to draw from there so we fashioned our own waist hung sheaths which were much better.

    My son absolutely loves this.
A toy that actually has a lot of fun play value, even for those who think now they are in secondary school they are a bit ‘grown up’ for toys.
It’s also easy enough that smaller kids can play.

I also love toys that get kids to rush around wearing themselves out.
    This one does that too.

    Brilliant fun.

I dint think much of this set before it arrived, I thought it may be a nice toy for a holiday when a lot of kids are around. It is so much more! I love it! The aim is good (once you figure out the right way). The plastic could be better quality but it’s not bad. The sword is an interesting twist to a standard laser tag. I like it. Sword is made of foam so no worries about injuries. All set takes only 6 batteries (3 in each shield). I do not like sword holder at the back – it’s very hard to put the sword in it or take it out to be honest, so we do not use it at all. I know it’s not perfect set but the way you play makes up for it – my 11 year old loved it.
    And so did we
Despite it not being perfect I would definitely buy again and I would recommend
I hope my review and video were helpful

My two boys loved playing with this lazer tag style game with a Ninja twist. The included gun plugs into the base of the vest and allows the 2 players to shoot each other in a safe infra red manor. There are 2 game types to choose from via the button on the side – 3 lives, or 6. In the 6 lives mode, there are 3 green dots on the chest, which turn to yellow, then red when shot. When in 3 life mode, the green dots turn straight to red when shot.

When the player is dead they are no longer able to shoot and so the other player is the winner. When you run out of shots, the player needs to reload. This is easily done by pushing the reload button on the front of the gun.

Also included is a sword for each player which conveniently slots into the vest straps on the back. My boys found it a little awkward to pull out the sword, but both were able to do it. The sword can be used by swiping it across the front of your opponents vest. This takes 2 lives off the opponent instead of 1 like the gun does. This is a nice twist but unfortunately the sensor on the orange vest does not register the sword. We tried all sorts to get it working and even rang MGA support but they advised there was nothing they could do and I should return it.

If it weren’t for this fault I would have given 5 stars.

    Great Fu
