Great bit of kit!
Nice and clear and loud enough for a garden party.
Whatever you do, turn it off before you unplug it. If you don’t, you need to remove the as batteries and leave it for a minute. The chip inside didn’t cope well with a loss of power.
Quality
Bought this to replace my older model Milwaukee radio and it’s awesome. DAB works great and if you’re really lucky (depending on geographical area) DAB+ works aswell. Usual stuff like presets for FM and DAB, graphic equaliser, safe closed space for phone with auxiliary lead built in and a USB socket to charge your phone from radio battery. I think it’s great and a colleague with a Makita radio says it’s better than his.

This is being use on sites in customers houses where we are fitting bathrooms. This is a great little unit but shame that it doesn’t charge batteries.
