Ik heb de roze/kaki en ben blij met deze kleuren. Het is een heel handig klein rugzakje, precies de goede hoeveelheid vakjes en hij zit goed, is lekker licht.

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersI wanted something smaller to get rid of the stuff in my pocket. I didn’t need anything as big as a backpack because I have a backpack. I didn’t want a fanny pack because I’m already a middle aged guy and dad. Although I suppose I could just own that. But I have teenagers. Besides, where would I put my phone belt holder? Just kidding. Anyway, this finds the nice space between a purse that poses as a sling bag and a fanny pack that people just wear over their shoulder. It’s useful for exactly what I need which is getting stuff out of my pockets.

I just wanted a simple bag for my wallet and day to day stuff. It’s big enough for my everyday life but not too big that I’m adding unnecessary things. Had it about 2 months now and it’s grea

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI’m colorblind so I thought that I was buying a blue murse. Osprey describes the color as “meereswellen.”
The item just arrived and my wife told me it’s actually purple. I’m not going to worry about what people might think about me so I’ll keep it. However, for those of you who can’t tell blue from purple and don’t want a purple sling, be advised.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI have an Osprey carry on which I dearly love and wanted an Osprey brand bag for essentials in lieu of a purse when I am traveling by train or by plane. This little sling bag is just big enough to stash my ID, wallet, ear buds and cell phone, plus some charging cords. Also, my iPad mini fits in an inside pocket which is very cool; anything bigger would not work. Don’t plan on putting a sweater inside: It’s small and tidy, not big and bulky so choose according to your needs. It works for me!

Very high quality sling pack, love osprey. Does not disappoint. Smaller than Patagonia Atom sling bag but not by alot. Would highly recommend for day to day use and traveling etc. Only con: abit smaller than expected but still can fit :keys,Samsung S22 Ultra, Nalgene bottle, wallet and a small packable jacket if you organize it right. Great for walking the dog on the trail as well…can hold dog treats in there as well with your gear..9 out of 10. Side note: people say the zippers are stiff at first and difficult, they are…but they loosen up with use and are quite durable as well..not a deal breaker by any means .

Bought this to use on a trip to carry a water bottle and a few items. Been using it a lot instead of a purse. Keeps my hands free and I don’t have to fight a shoulder strap. Stays put on my back. I’m a small petite woman and this is very comfortable to carry. Highly recommend.

Let’s be honest, not everyone is looking for the exact same size and features. I’m a 5’9″ tall guy and this fits me perfectly. It holds an iPad mini inside and a bunch of other accessories. I like that you can switch shoulders by moving the strap. Build quality is very good.

I bought this because I thought it would be better than my bulging pockets. But it’s still a bit of a pain to take off every time to use my wallet. Not a fault of the bag at all—more just me thinking I would use it more.

Well designed in that the sling is very comfortable and doesn’t move around while hiking. Good storage, roomy with just a few pockets. Strap is adjustable so you can carry over either shoulder. Fabric is light weight, won’t impress as being heavy duty but seems up to the task.

Golden Review Award: 9 From Our UsersWaited a LONG time for this sling to ship and when it did I had mixed emotions. I slimmed down my everyday bag and wanted something smaller to put my wallet, medication, keys and phone in.

Size: great for everyday/travel use. It pretty much stays flat unless you have alot of stuff in the sling. Pockets were great.

PRO: This sling can be worn over the left or right shoulder as it has mini carabiner type clips at the end of the straps and a ribbon type of material on both “bottoms” to attach. Quality is the standard Osprey five star.

CON: It can be worn front facing (which I prefer) however, the sling perfers to be a back facing and will slowly go there during the course of the day (which I don’t perfer.)

Sadly, had to return because this sling won the battle of being a back facing. Not taking anything from the Osprey brand.

Fits great! Has just enough space for a small water bottle, phone, keys, charger, Sun screen and chapstick. that’s about all. You can add couple clips to outside to hold lite items.

Great pack. I bummed around Bali with this guy for a week and it never let me down. The ONLY thing I would suggest osprey add is one of those fancy rubber gasket-like points of entry to run a charging cable from the bag to an electronic device.

Other than that…it’s a great bag that does what it claims.

This is a great little pack for someone who doesn’t need a lot of room. It’s well-made and practical. It would be great to use for a day at a theme park when you have to get on and off rides throughout the day. Because it only has one strap, it’s easy to slide it around to the front of your body with no need to completely remove it. Unfortunately, it was a little too small for me. I like to carry a 32oz metal water bottle and although it fits in the pack, it didn’t leave room for anything else and made the pack awkward to carry. If it was a little bit bigger, it would be perfect.

I travel a lot internationally and wanted something light for all the outdoor activities I do yet have enough space to carry my essentials including a full mirror lens camera and equipment. I was pleased to see I was able to fit all of it. It also helps reduce the weight which is great since when I travel I tend to visit a lot of spots that somehow are 400+ steps up a mountain. Love the flexibility of being able to switch the strap so I could give a break to one of my shoulders if needed from my heavy load. There are also plenty of places you can hook stuff to it, like a water bottle or anything else with a clip. I only wish that the smaller pocket had the same flexibility with being able to open the zipper from either side. I had to be careful I didn’t drop anything from it when I did switch the strap and the zipper would end up on the bottom side.

I love osprey bags in general and wanted something small for travel, where I can leave my pack behind. This bag fits the bill perfectly and I find myself using it more than I expected. Is big enough to carry a battery pack, sunglasses, wallet, keys and still have save to spare.

I’ve added a safety light using the loop on the strap and AirTag using the hook on the inside.

This is a small sling bag. I got it for my wife for a trip. Very handy way to take just enough for the day. Might get another one for me.

Osprey doesn’t make junk, only quality. Should last forever with light use. And it doesn’t look silly like a fanny pack over your shoulder does.

I love this thing – pretty much sums up my thoughts on this. I carry it everywhere and have stopped people from calling it a Murse. It is what it is, but I am diabetic and got tired of carrying all my stuff in my pockets, or opting to leave stuff at home or in the car. It is just the right size for me to carry all I need and quite a bit more.
If you’re looking for a day-hike bag, this thing should be just right for you, but if you’re looking to “backpack”, this will not be big enough. I think I read other reviews about it being good for carrying snacks for kids and I’d say that is right on for a day event. I haven’t really been harassed by stores or the like about carrying a backpack either, which is nice.
    Highly recommend.

I used this in Cancun just to have something smaller to bring to the pools or restaurants on the resort and it worked well. I could hold plenty of smaller items, providing comfort and functionality. I was surprised at how small it was but it still worked great for what I needed it for. It does have a small, mesh zip up pocket for smaller items such as Chapstick or rings.

Golden Review Award: 17 From Our UsersI am very pleased with this bag. I needed something that was smaller than a diaper bag, but bigger than a wristlet to carry my junk and my kid’s stuff. This bag can easily go from the grocery store to the playground to a weekend camping trip, especially if you live in a casual small town like I do. This bag is lightweight, has great organizational options already built in, and is comfortable to wear. I do wish the zipper was a little smoother to pull. I have photos of how I typically have it packed. As you can see, I still have room for when I need to add more stuff like snacks or toys.

This sling back is almost perfect. It is well made and so far, very durable. For me personally it would have been 110% perfect if the balance was better when it was full as it tends to slide out of position when wearing it. Other than that you can’t go wrong with this item.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersI have a G4Free sling and I love it, but it’s too small to hold my 10.4″ tablet. Thus, I decided to try the Osprey. It’s a very high quality sling bag. It has plenty of space for my needs. The material is much thicker and tougher than the G4Free.

The G4Free on the other hand has an outside mesh pocket, which I miss on the Osprey. However, the front pocket works just fine for a small water bottle.

The Daylite is very high quality and appears that it will hold up for the long haul. It’s very comfy and has some padding on the inside. It’s very water resistant and you won’t have to worry about getting you gear wet in rain. I’d be cautious in a downpour, however.

This pack isn’t designed to carry a tablet, but for my needs when I occasionally carry my tablet it works great. It fits with the case on too. This essentially acts as my daily use and dad bag (kid supplies – snacks, hand wipes, etc.).

It’s a great little bag and I highly recommend it.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersI think this is a good quality bag and I loved the comfy padded strap. It has a thoughtful design but personally I think it’s just too small. I bought it for taking with me traveling international. By the time you put a wallet, a large cell phone and maybe some small odds and ends, the thing is packed. Probably the saving grace was that it never was overly heavy for carrying around all day. Also you can flip it and wear it on your front in order to prevent theft.

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersI love the style, idea, materials, etc. and I hate I had to return it. The problem with the bag is that the dimensions are wrong and the shape is bad! It’s not 5 inches deep. I tried to put a 3.5″ tissue box in the bag and it wouldn’t close b/c the box was too “deep”/wide. Also, the bag is shaped like a “D”. The back is flat, but the body is arc shaped. So, square items, like the tissue box, don’t fit unless they are considerably smaller. If you want something very compact and you’re throwing small, loose items or something fabric like a face towel or underwear in it, it’s great. If you’re looking to take advantage of the 5″ depth that it claims it has, don’t, LOL!

Golden Review Award: 26 From Our UsersI have tried a couple of different slings, Patagonia 8L Atom and the Northface Berkley Field bag. These are both good quality slings but they did not work for me, only right side cross body wear, openings that where hard to get into, little to no organization and a bit uncomfortable.
I like the Osprey Daylite the best and will not be returning it. Here is why: 1. It is very lite weight. 2. It opens like a backpack, top center two zippers and it fully opens to about 3/4 of the length of the sling. The zippers are not covered with unnecessary folds and they have nice pulls that are easy to grip for an old guy like me. 3. Internal organization pocket with zippered internal compartment with key ring lanyard. 4. Internal slip pocket for a phone, I Phone or Samsung will easily fit. I also keep a Moleskine note book, 4″x7″ in there. 5. Because the sling opens like a backpack, I can also get most standard hardback books in the main compartment. 6. The front compartment fits two pairs of glasses, in the case, wallet, keys and hand sanitizer and a pen. 7. Shoulder strap attaches on the bottom of the sling for left or right cross body wear and there is a small stretch pocket at the top of the shoulder strap although I don’t use it, it is very small.
    8. The inside of the sling is a lite color so things don’t disappear so to speak. So for the price and quality it works for me daily and for travel. Simple, smart design.

Golden Review Award: 15 From Our UsersI am going to Disney World and was looking for a smaller sling bag that held my phone & other items. This one was the perfect size. I like to use the front pocket for my phone (note: it is plenty big for larger phones + room for additional items with it). I appreciate the mesh zip inside with the hook for my keys. My water bottle fit in easily with plenty of space. I highly appreciate the ability to set your strap on the left or right side of the bag.

Since I’ll be at Disney, I was happy to see there was a small strap at the top of my bag I could loop my Mickey ears lanyard onto (you can securely strap your ears so you don’t have to carry them or wear them all day). And if necessary (due to the unpredictable Florida rain) you can easily hide them away safely in the main section of the bag as well.

Very satisfied. I look forward to using this bag on my trip. My only qualm is I wish the company produced a FULLY grey version of this bag. I’m sure my black bag will attract the heat. But I wanted a color to go with everything I wear, so black was the next best thing. And idk if I had seen a prototype or special beta test bag that was like a fully cool grey blue, but I would have loved to purchase that one if it were on the market. Just couldn’t find it anywhere but in pictures.

    Perfect Size! Great Quality.

This sling pack fulfills most of my needs – it’s lightweight, comfortable, and has just enough space for the items I need for my 1-3 hour local walks / hikes. However – the reason it doesn’t get 5 stars – it still leaves me with a bit of a sweaty back (in hitter days, or more arduous hikes). Certainly less so than my 20L backpack, but I would like to see Osprey apply some better technology to this product to improve the breathability, and given the price point I did expect more on that front.

We all seem to need to carry so much “stuff” with us nowadays, and I find messenger bags are usually too big for just a day out, and rucksacks are just too awkward for me with two straps, as I suffer with shoulder bursitis. This sling style fits the bill perfectly and you can easily get all you need in there for a day out (including a 500ml Chilly’s water bottle). I do think the price point is high for what it is, though, but then you are paying for the brand name as is the case with any product. I also bought the Osprey travel lock for additional security for the main compartment.

Golden Review Award: 30 From Our UsersPerfect size sling for a quick, out the door go bag. Also, I use mine for bike rides, keeping a spare tube, tools and a tire inflator inside. Cell phone, wallet and any other items to keep out your pockets. Much better than a backpack that restricts air flow and cause, a sweaty back when you ride.

Two features I did not find in other reviews where a chest strap quick release buckle (#5) and an
excess strap keeper (#4)… both hidden from view. It took a couple of hours of swearing about NO strap keeper before I found it tucked up in the upper connection point.

Well placed internal pockets and quality zippers found on all of Osprey”s packs! Could have used a vertical zippered pocket so when you bring the sling around for a quick item grab, you wouldn’t be trying to keep the items from falling out of the other horizontal pockets that have now become vertical. Also lacks an external fleece lined pocket for sun/prescription glasses found on some other packs. The elastic pouch on the chest strap is kind of useless due to its size. Too small for glasses. Think chapstick or small sunscreen.

I referenced a Mac Book Air for size, NO way would it fit. iPad or tab…??? Maybe.

Overall I am pleased with the Osprey Daylite sling and would recommend to others looking for this size of pack.

I am a fan of Osprey bags as thse are great quality, sturdy and light. I was after a sling bag to keep my hands free. I love this one because I’m ambidextrous and I can change the lanyard to make it practical for left handed. I like the inner pocket and small hook to secure keys in the bag. Golden Review Award: 10 From Our UsersThis little bag is perfect for carrying a few bits and pieces rather than having bulging pockets. I use sling bags because I have bad shoulders and I have trouble putting a normal back pack on and off so this is ideal. What I like most is that I don’t have to take it off to get things in or out, I just swivel it around to the front, do what I need to do then swivel it around to the back again, perfect! It has a nice wide padded strap so I hardly know I’ve got it on. I have a bigger bag for larger loads but this is ideal for daily use. I keep all my personal stuff in it and there is ample room for a fold up rain coat, my camera, a drink and all my bits and bobs and if I’m worried about someone taking something out then I can use it as a chest bag so I can keep an eye on it. The quality is exactly what I expect from Osprey, they are the best around.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersThis is a very useful ‘over the shoulder’ Pack. There is an adjustment so it can be worn over either shoulder. Although the advertising photos show the Pack worn over the back of the body, it can be swung around and worn at the front of the body for greater ease of access to the zipped areas – and wearing it this way means it does not have to be removed to put items in or take items out of the Pack. Also better from a security point of view as the zipped sections are over the chest / stomach area, and not ‘out of sight’ over the back / shoulder areas.

Golden Review Award: 10 From Our UsersI’ve got 3 Osprey bags of different sizes. They are all really good and Osprey is my first choice when looking for bags. They all however have basic flaws. With this bag there is no mesh pocket on the front for a water bottle. The previous version had the pocket but with Osprey’s stretch nylon not mesh which tears easily. That aside, the bag works well. and the strap can be attached to the bottom left or right of the bag, so can be worn over either shoulder. As it’s a well respected outdoor brand, it doesn’t look like a man bag which is a bonus!
