This is a fantastic sub for it’s size. It fit perfectly under the Passenger seat of my 2018 Honda Accord. I just wanted to supplement some of the missing low end from the factory system.
My only gripe, which really isn’t fair given the physical size of the sub, is that the very low end is missing. Again, I would need to probably go up to at least a 10″ woofer to hit those notes, but it’s not a deal break by any means.
The thing I really like about this sub is that you do NOT need to get a full wiring kit. The sub draws such low power you can tap into a 20A fuse and be just fine. It comes with enough wire on the harness to run the power to and remote wire to just about any fusebox in the vehicle. Before anyone freaks out about this, this is how the instructions say to hook this sub up. It is designed to not require a direct run from the battery.
Overall, great for the price and great for fitting into tight spaces. Having the remote nearby is also great so you can adjust on the fly.
Este subwoofer da unos graves muy profundos y potentes,obviamente no espereis los graves de un subwoofer de 1000W,pero al ponerlo debajo del asiento del conductor y sin llegar a ponerlo a plena potencia,notas como te vibra la ropa y hasta los espejos del coche.Trae includos todos los cables necesarios para su instalacin,que dicho sea de paso,es muy sencilla.Lo nico que no incluye el producto es un cable RCA,si se quiere conectar a la radio por RCA tendrs que comprar un cable aparte como en mi caso.Si quieres conectarlo como un altavoz normal ser tan simple como conectar a la radio mediante el cable que trae el subwoofer.Tambin se incluyen unas bases metlicas por si se quiere anclar a cualquier sitio y que no se mueva,aparte de un mando para controlar los parmetros.
En resumen,es un subwoofer altamente recomendado basado en mi experiencia personal,siempre y cuando no busques una potencia descomunal como podra darte un subwoofer de 12″,500W con su cajn acstico correspondiente.
Dies ist bereits der zweite Pionier Subwoofer fr die Untersitz Montage welcher in meinem Besitz ist. Den ersten kaufte ich 2015 fr mein damaliges Mercedes Coup, welches aufgrund seines Alters nur sehr kleine Lautsprecher in der Mittelkonsole hatte. Wichtig war hier fr mich, dass ein anstndiger Klang geboten wird, ohne dass viel davon zu sehen ist. Ein dicker Subwoofer im Kofferraum war somit keine Option, da er ja auch nicht praktikabel ist. Ein Reserveradmulde Subwoofer machte in einem Mercedes Coup mit komplett geschlossenen Kofferraum ebenfalls wenig Sinn.
Soweit entschied ich mich fr einen Underseat Sub der Marke Pioneer. Und ich habe es nicht bereut.
Wie auch schon damals war ich auch dieses Mal nach Einbau in meinem Subaru wirklich begeistert vom Klanglichen Mehrwert dieses kleinen Bauteils.
Dank der geringen Leistungsaufnahme des Subwoofers und dem nicht stndigen betreiben Auf voller Leistung htten wir ihn theoretisch sogar am Zigarettenanznder anschlieen knnen. Wir entschieden uns jedoch doch fr die fachmnnische Montage mit plus Kabel aus dem Motorraum.
Nach Einbau und Konfiguration am Autoradio stellte sich schnell heraus, dass die Leistung des Subwoofers auch im Subaru mehr als ausreichend ist.
Momentan habe ich am Auto Radio, den Subwoofer auf -4 DB eingestellt, um an der Fernbedienung des Subs etwas mehr Spielraum zu haben. Die meiste Zeit luft der Subwoofer jetzt im Bereich von 25-45 % Leistung bei komplett offener Frequenzweiche, da das Radio bereits vorher die Frequenzen kappt.
Der Subwoofer liefert einen schnen trockenen Bass und lsst auch in den Tiefen nichts vermissen. Lediglich die Einstellung der Fernbedienung knnte etwas feinstufiger sein, hier gengt manchmal schon ein winzig kleiner stups am Regler, um einen deutlichen unterschied zu haben.
Zum Thema Langlebigkeit kann ich nur sagen, dass der Subwoofer im Mercedes Coup seit 2015 ohne Probleme seinen Dienst verrichtet und der im Subaru ebenfalls einen klasse Job macht.

160w is enough for a sound system that adds more of a sound range without being obnoxious.
Always temperary wire up to make sure it works before putting it in permanently, it will save a lot of hassle before hand.
The fitted loudspeakers in my twenty-year-old VW T4 have no bass. Fitting speakers into the door panels is not easy. Adding this subwoofer has transformed the sound, with as much bass as I want!
The sub was easy to install and the wiring was straight forward. Only complaint I would say was ground cable was to short and struggled to find a good ground connection in the area sub was fitted.

I don’t normally leave reviews because basically I can’t be bothered..
But I feel compelled to tell everyone looking at this little sub how great it is.. it’s tiny, but really pumps out loud deep bass. It’s not going to blow the windows out, but I’ve fitted it in my VW camper and it really makes a huge difference.

Bought to help out an older BMW estate with stock speakers, which are great quality but the rear ones are ceiling mounted and handle bass as well as a clock radio speaker would.
Bought this over others as perfect size to fit behind a trim panel in the boot which used to house the old BMW sat-nav DVD drive and factory fit amp, which had been partially removed by previous owner of the car.
Took a bit of tuning via the supplied wired remote control and the crossover of my headunit to ensure the right frequencies to the right speaker, but very pleased with result. Put the thump back into my trunk 🙂
This small subwoofer is incredibly powerful and accurate! It changed the sound in such a way in my Porsche 986 S that I feel like a teenager again!
Absolutely the best thing I’ve bought for my van. It was easy to connect and once it was set up and correctly wired it fit right under my seat perfectly. I’ve got a VW crafter and under the driver’s seat is perfect.
The sound is just right too. Nice additional bass without it being too much. Very clear sound too with no distortion even with max settings. Just make sure to adjust your equaliser setting to accommodate the extra bass.
Fitted this behind the middle seat in my Land Rover Defender, with the small Pioneer Amp it sounds awesome, absolutely great value and sound, makes the music much deeper and richer, sounds like it surrounds me in a 10 metre wide circle rather than just from the 6″x9″ speakers blasting into my ears from behind my seats. Highly recommended.
This makes a lovely sound that complements the factory fitted unit sound in my MK 7 Golf. Not straight forward to connect unless you have the right expertise, so need help but once installed, sounds great and fits under front passenger seat.
I wanted just a bit more sub for my cr-v and this brought it. A big reason why bought this was that it is so small that i didn’t have to put it in the trunk.
Very good quality subwoofer and easy to install and use. Produces solid bass with no distortion. To be honest from experience I will recommend this pioneer under seat car subwoofer for anyone looking to improve and upgrade their car speaker’s sound quality. I’m a happy customer.
Now had for 4 weeks and it’s gone from ok to great….. don’t waste time or money on the version with remote control – use the crossover settings in the head unit to set up the subwoofer – this is the secret to getting the best from the sub. Even I’m impressed for such a small unit.
