I don’t remember my branded Rubik’s Cube being this good in the 80’s. It’s great quality smooth and the colours don’t look like they’d peel off.
Bought it as a present for a grand kid. I’ve had one for 40 years and never been able to complete it. I can do industrial automation writing software embedding equations for machines to perform calculations in order for processes to be completed efficiently, but I can’t do a Rubik’s cube. Recently I saw a young guy do one in 12 seconds on TV, grrrr!

This must be the ultimate puzzle there are so many combinations and unless you are a maths expert the only way to solve it is with a little help from the youtube articles on solving the Rubix cube.

Keeping it old school
Purchased as a requested present for my teenage son. Which is surprising given the level of technology that is available to them today but it was great seeing him using his pink matter to physically and mentally solve the cube. The only downside is now technology exists to let you cheat with ease based on the colour pattern of a single side. Shame on you technology.
That aside, this Rubix is perfect. Good movement and rotation, not clunky at all. I’m sure they were bigger when I was his age but maybe that’s just me?

I finally managed to crack the code !
It’s the original and best. The cube moves very easily and unlike earlier models the colour faces are part of the plastic cube and not a sticker .. the first cube i ever had removing the stickers was the only way i could solve the cube. It’s worth watching on You Tube how to solve the cube as makes a lot of sense of how to then solve the cube otherwise for me i get more and more stressed for not being able to solve it. lol !
Bought this for my daughter as the cheapo knock-off one she had was dismantled by another child who couldn’t do it, and thus ruined.
My teen can now complete it in about 10 minutes and is aiming to get quicker.
Love the cube, very easy to use but they changed the colours. I miss the retro fluoro orange, but its an acceptable trade off for a cube where the stickers don’t come off. Was debating a speed cube, but happy with this purchase and would buy agai
It’s the original Rubix cube
It’s well made so doesn’t break apart like the cheaper models on sale. The colours are ’embedded’ on the Cube rather than stickers, so it won’t wear out.
Movement is smooth – you can’t beat it.
It’s a bit more pricey than the other cheaper models, but you get what you pay for

I remember the Rubik Cube the first time round, with it’s stiff movement and the coloured stickers. This new version is a nice improvement. The movement is super smooth and the stickers have been replaced with a plastic piece embedded into the cube. The quality is really nice, it’s brought back some great memories and is a great time waster.
Quality toy but slow moving parts
Cube is good quality nut the blocks get stuck some times when trying to move the fast.

This cube is a good for a beginner. It’s not quick in maneuvering but does the job. My son used this cube first then moved on to a more slick cube.

I always wanted to get one of these. Now I just have to learn how to solve it. You just have be careful when moving the pieces as you need them properly aligned. You will feel resistance when attempting to move a misaligned section long before you can damage it though.
Not strong for fast users
Broke after a few months, not very strong if you’re making it faster. Didn’t ask for replacement as it was happened after few months of purchase.
Well-made Rubik’s Cube
I bought this as a present for my granddaughter and was impressed with the appearance (no stickers) and quality of the cube. It’s also easy to turn without losing any stability.
Rotates smooth and easy
I brought a cheap cube which was terrible, sticky and clunky. Threw that in the bin and brought this original Rubik’s cube. The quality in this one is great smooth and easy movement all round. Great cube
Works exactly as you would expec
Found my cheap and nasty cube from the 70’s in the attic and decided to get the real thing. Much easier to manoeuvre and it hasn’t exploded like my old one used to. Well worth the upgrade.
The best cube I’ve used
I had an original cube in the 80’s and bought this one for my son. The difference is night and day. This cube is so easy to rotate without having to line the rows and columns perfectly as you did with the original. I guess that’s what 40 years of development does to a product!
Always wanted to give this a try
I’ve always wanted to learn how to solve a rubies cube so decided to give this a try, there are a lot of alternatives on Amazon but I wanted to give the original a try it’s very easy to use and I don’t have any complaints

Solid Rubik's Cube
Fantastic quality as it’s the original brand. Not a chance I’ll ever complete it, something I probably knew at time of ordering but clearly got carried away and deluded myself when ordering. Brings some old-timey nostalgia to the living room.

Love, this cube. Never did it in the 80s but after a lot of reading and playing around I completed 3 in the same night. Lovely cube, turns brilliantly and you can’t swap the stickers as they are enamel :). V pleased. Took me weeks to do but I can nearly do it from messed up without help from YouTube
Original rubik's!
My son loves it. He’s only 1 but it can manoeuvre like a pro. It is really the original one, I can see that because of how easy is to play with, most of the other being really hard to turn.
This is a great beginner cube. The pieces move in a manner that you can learn to solve the cube without moving the cube too quickly and losing track. Having said that, to get quick times if you are keen to move on to speedcubing, you will need something with less friction.
