Robuster Kickschalter Alles in allem empfehlenswert. Wer keinen Bock zum fegen hat ist hier genau richtig. Eine zustzliche Griffhalteposition wre wnschenswert.

The website does detail what is in the box for each option. Need to know what I’m buying.

Great machine and so quite. Pitty they don’t put wide wheels to allow it to work on astra turf but still great at doing drive and paths

This is a great machine! Bought it in the fall last year to help with clearing up leaves etc. It’s like an outdoor hoover – Works on almost any hard surface, easy to use, light to manage, hangs away on the wall when not in use and a great companion for keeping the garden and garage neat and tidy.

This is something everyone should have!

It works brilliantly and sweeps up everything in its path! Its well made, solid and lasts ages on a 5.0ah battery!

A solid 10/10 for this Ryobi sweeper!

i have many many ryobi one pieces now, its become an obsession and i just had to have this in the collection…its made me realise i have an addiction and i intend to start a RA programme..joking aside this is brillaint to add to all the other bits i have, it does a great job and clears my back yard and drive brilliantly, i also have the large ryobi sucker/blower and the combination is superb for all of the leaves and debris…in reality i could have just used a brush and dustpan but i refer you to my first paragraph

Ryobi R18SW3-0 18V. I needed a product that would sweep up debris from our old tarmac driveway around the house. The debris mostly consists of loose surface stones, soil, leaves, sticks etc. I searched and deliberated on several different models including the big petrol sweepers for some time. It was when this came at a discounted price I decided to go for it. I’m very glad I did as it has turned a two day job into a 4 hour job now. It does leave a small line of debris down the middle but it isn’t a big deal. I also use it in the workshop/stables for general tidying without issue. There are videos out there of how to get the best out of it which I would recommend viewing. Great bit of kit all round especially if you can get it on offer.

Read lots of mixed reviews about this product and whilst it is not perfect (it does leave a middle line that you have to go back over and the emptying could be a bit easier) it is a damn site easier to use than a brush.
I used to dread brushing the drive as it felt like a never ending task , now it is the cleanest it has been with very little effort. Great produc

This sweeper is deceptively quiet. It makes almost no noise, yet seems to pickup absolutely everything, with ease. I just wish I had one of these years ago.

It would be nice if the wheels on it were not hard plastic, as these can catch on any bumps on your drive/patio, but other than that, its awesome. I just cleaned up the driveway after a skip was collected and some bulk bags of soil were emptied and this thing swept up merrily! Did it with 1 hand too. It requires so little effort. Runs for hours on one of my Dewalt batteries.

i think this is a very good sweeper i use it a lot and it works extremely well i would definitely buy this to sweep large areas such as car parks and i use it to sweep all my rabbit bedding and food up

Takes a lot of effort out of the sweeping up, and pretty powerful too for bits, pebbles and small twigs.

As others have said, doesn’t handle larger twigs well and does leave a line as it runs, but picked up on the return pass as you work along the space.

Easy to use, lightweight and easy to store. It’s a first world luxury at the end of the day but a decent addition to the ryobi single battery range

Great for workshop and garage and flat surfaces – on rougher ground not quite as easy to manoeuvre- wheels are small and hard – larger and rubberised might have been better. Gauge can be set for surface types

Good sweeping and collection system – easy to use so overall very pleased with i

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersOne thing to note for any potential buyers, is this is NOT supplied with a battery & charger – these will need to be purchased separately.
Initially I was shocked when the unit arrived, as the box was larger than I was expecting. Once unpacked though, the unit is reasonably compact at around 500x600x200 without the handle. The handle is easily fitted without the need for any tools, and is height adjustable in three positions by depressing two ball bearing fastenings. There is nothing else required to assemble, as the brushes come already fitted.
The battery unit simply pushes into the connector socket at the rear of the body. Alongside this is the large power switch, which can easily be operated by foot. On top of the unit is a large dial, which raises or lowers the back of the sweeper for use on different floor surfaces (rough or smooth).
The collection bin drops in from the top, and is easily removed to empty, being semi transparent so you can see how full it is.
Operation is simple and quiet, and the unit effortlessly glides around in any direction due to the swivel castors.
Performance is a little hit ‘n’ miss really. I had hoped this would be the answer to the annual leaf drop that sees constant accumulations on and around my driveway for several months every year. Unfortunately, though it will pick the leaves up, there is no compaction. The collection bin is relatively small, so soon fills up, and then you are just pushing leaves around and not actually collecting them up.
Where the sweeper performed excellently was in my garage after recently fitting a kitchen. The amount of sawdust everywhere would have taken a good while to sweep up, but the Ryobi sweeper made light work of it collecting up all the debris & smaller off-cuts with ease.
So in summary, if you do a lot of diy or have a small workshop, this will be a godsend for keeping the floors clear & tidy. If you are looking to use it as a garden sweeper, it does the job, but I feel a shovel and brush or a leaf blower is probably a better option.

This is a veryversatile machine and is easy to operate. What it does , is provide you with a very handy sweeping machine which collects all sorts of rubbish by means of two rotating bristle brushes which sweep a everything into a large collector bin.The bin is simple to remove and then it can be emptied .
It will handle all sorts of rubble and dirt. and I use my Henry to suck up the fine stuff from the edges. Not that this is not effective on the edges ,but there will always be residue . The handles are extendible and you can also adjust the height easily. The whole thing is light in weight and easily stored when not in use. You can also hang it on the wall of the garage or shed . Recommended.

First impressions of the machine are that it is quite bulky. Second impression is that where the handles rest for storage in the long run is likely to break as it’s just a piece of protruding plastic from the main body of the machine. The sweeping brushes on opening were already at various angles due to be pressed different ways inside the box so, again, in the long term with use and storage unsure how these will fare. The actual machine in use does a serviceable job. It has a dial that can be adjusted for various surfaces, ie rough-smooth and picks up large items with barely any trouble. The collection box is a decent size and the machine as a whole stores away nicely with the handle having a separate hole to make it shorter (it has 3 other holes for various handle heights when in use).

Golden Review Award: 12 From Our UsersThis item came well packed and getting it up and running was pretty straightforward, the only thing you need to do is attach the handle which is a quick and tool-less operation. It has three different heights using the spring mechanism you would normally associate with crutches. It easily attaches to (and detaches from) the main body with two chunky knobs on either side.

The battery (Ryobi one+ 18v) pushes into the rear close to the large power button which is easily operated by a tap of your foot. In operation it is thankfully very quiet compared to domestic vacuums or leaf blowers. There is a large dial marked rough to smooth on the top which raises the rear of the unit depending on floor type. The smoother the floor the higher as it actually angles the two brushes more steeply into the ground. It is nice and easy to push around, the three castor type wheels are a good idea and you can even move it laterally along a wall or kerb whilst facing forwards with a bit of practice. Only internal corners remain inaccessible but it does get pretty close in.

As for performance is does do a decent job in the garage and on the patio but I wouldn’t recommend it only as a leaf collector. This is because the collector box is too small for that job and once full (which doesn’t take long and there is no indicator to say it is) it just pushes the leaves around and you will find yourself emptying it far more often than the dreaded garden vac. You may have to get your hands inside to clear it too otherwise it does not sit flush, not that that seems to affect performance as it is not a vacuum after all. I have a parking space away from my house and it did do a lovely job of clearing the leaves from that but in the end I wheeled my brown bin around to it to save to-ing and fro-ing when emptying. I used it for a good 30 minutes but was unable to tell how much juice was left. It stores upright ok but carrying around with the handle attached is a bit clumsy. Note also, this is definitely a “sweeper”, not a “scrubber” and so the thin nylon brushes won’t actually clean the dirt off your patio or garage floor but will pick up the loose.

Overall it’s quite a lightweight sweeper for domestic applications and whilst it’s not the answer to the autumn leaf drop, if you like to keep your garage/patio clean and tidy but with the (quiet) convenience of cordless then it may be worth a look. Would definitely appeal to people with infirmities who struggle with a garden vac but it does have it’s limitations due to the 18v battery.

UPDATE Almost 1 year on and it is still going on the first charge, amazing battery life and I use this item more than I thought I would, mostly to sweep the patio after cutting the grass. Great item if you’re a bit fastidious about a tidy garden.
