Golden Review Award: 4 From Our Usershis vacuum cleaner is great very light (I have arthritic hands) easy to use I have changed from a dyson because the suction was not great, and kept blocking. having two batteries is very useful, I have only tested it but seems to have good suction. I did have trouble registering the guarantee but shark said they would do it with the info I gave them.

Got this as my primary vacuum cleaner, this work perfect and handy. Just be cautious, battery will last for 15 to 20 mins Max in one charge, if you split your work accordingly then it is a best fit. Else get an extra battery simply

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersTo say that this is one of the smaller hoovers, it actually holds quite a bit of dirt & the suction is amazing!! Not sure how long the battery lasts, but it lasts a while. I can not fault this hoover & I wished I’d bought one years ago!!

I am delighted with this vacuum cleaner which was a gift. I have had it two months now. It is lovely to use. Light-weight. Powerful enough. Not too noisy. It kind of “steers” by twisting the handle a bit as you push it around so very easy to steer round furniture. A real joy to use. Only a very small dust container in the handle but it’s adequate and you can see easily when it is full. Two batteries means you never run out of juice. Frankly I’ve not needed the second one yet! The “brush” is a soft plastic strip rather than a brush like a normal vacuum cleaner but it works perfectly although struggles with long fluffy things like my bath mat. Works everywhere else though. Recommended.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersLooking for a replacement for my old Dyson handheld which we loved but had slowly been waning after years of service. Took a chance on the Shark wand and couldn’t be happier.

Thoughtful design in every detail and works beautifully. Price is amazing compared to newer competitor handhelds.

Product design team should be applauded.

    1) Comes with a stand so docking is really tidy
    2) Looks good and super compact we keep ours proudly in the kitchen
    3) Small dust bucket that is easy to empty – this is game changer – means we change habits to conveniently empty after each hoover with no mess vs putting off emptying a large bucket everywhere and pulling out trapped mess
    4) Power management. Charges on stand, includes spare battery that charges on same stand, power monitor so you can see battery level.
    5) Touch button controls where you fingers are not hidden away
    6) Head glides on the floor and picks up from hard floor and delicate rugs gently

This is almost the perfect compact vacuum. Only negative is it comes with 3 attachments h but the stand only has a holder for one. So the others don’t dock away nicely.

Had the vacuum for a few days so real test will be durability. Our Dyson lasted 10years

Fantastic purchase especially given the price.

Great for getting in little corners of my apartment very flexible ball for the head of the hoover. being able to detach the long arm and use the short arm for little messes is great. Never had an issue with battery in my small studio. Hairs don’t get stuck, great suction.

It is a small container but holds a good amount!

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI have very thick long-ish hair that keeps ruining cleaners quickly, and I have been thinking of getting their anti hair wrap cleaner for a while but a little bit skeptical… so far, it has been working so well, no hair on the roller and cleans hair well. No hair blocking other dust to be sucked either.
This model has very small dust box, enough for 1 bed flat, but I may get the one with bigger dust box next time. Also this model doesn’t have handle and you have to hold the main body. but it makes it easy to pull out the top part to use as a handy cleaner.

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersI’ve been using this vacuum for a few months now. I have asthma and my house has hard floors, apart from a three rugs, so this vacuum is an ideal supplement to a mains vacuum. For a small, lightweight vacuum it is superb. It feels robust in the hand. The attachments click into place easily and unlock readily. With a small battery pack it is easy to hold over one’s head to vacuum high, awkward places. However, two battery packs are essential for even a small house. The dust container is small but easily emptied. The dust filter appears affective.

If I could wish for more it would only be a wider brush head because I don’t like using the motor heads on the hard floors.

Edit 8/2/2023. I haven’t changed my opinion of this machine in the last eight months, but today when I operated the release for the dust bin the plastic spring loaded hinge exploded. Disappointing.

I did a lot of research before buying a vacuum as I wanted to get the best for my money. This vacuum not only looks cool, it’s lightweight, has great suction for multiple floor types and the battery isn’t bad. If you run out of juice it takes all of 2 seconds to swap to another battery so it really isn’t an issue. Would recommend for sure

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersGreat little vacuum cleaner for top up cleans and reaching tricky spaces. The collection tank is very small but this shouldn’t be a surprise for the size and weight, hence them recommending emptying after every use.
Suction was very good and the spinning brush doesn’t flick the dust around.
You may notice I released the tank accidentally when turning it on, you will probably do this the first time also as the release is below the on off button. Probably another good reason to empty after each use.
    Great vacuum.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI must’ve deliberated for about 6 months over which brand and type of vacuum to buy. I looked at various reviews on different sites but felt increasingly hopeless that any vacuum would be a good all rounder without spending 500+. I live in a one bedroom flat with a mixture of long and short pile carpets, rugs, vinyl and laminate floor. I have allergies and low immune system and a history of back operations so something big and heavy or messy to empty with low suction wouldn’t have been suitable.

I can honestly say this is without fail the best vacuum I’ve purchased yet! Had an Amazon canister vacuum previously that cost under 50 and was a fabulous buy with great suction on all floors despite not having a super filter and bulky to store and pull around but would still recommend and was worth every penny. previous to that I had a dyson – a pointless 350.00 that never seemed to work properly!

This product beats all hands down, is super light with brilliant attachments, a spare battery and a charging stand! I’ve never run out of battery whilst using and it’s super easy to empty! You won’t be disappointed.

The vacuum is better than I expected it would be on picking up dog hairs and other debris on the carpets, rugs and wooden floors.

I am writing this review because I have read some poor reviews of this item and was pleasantly surprised by the performance.

The vacuum is easy to take to pieces and the hand held is great for the car.

So far, so pleased. Thank you.

  26. WardEarleykdart says:

I am pleasantly surprised by the suction power of this vacuum, It is more than capable of getting up dust and crumbs. The attachments are also very useful such as the smaller motorized head for stairs and furniture, cars, etc. Overall It is worth the investment. The second battery is actually separate which I didn’t realize at first so requires you to change when it runs out, as I only have a small house I have no need to do this so it’s probably worth getting one battery if you don’t mind waiting between charges.

  27. Anonymous says:

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI wanted a light cordless vacuum to clean up little bits here and there rather than get out the corded vacuum I use for a thorough clean and also something I could use to clean I the car.
It’s great there are different attachments and it’s quite long to reach the cobwebs high on the ceiling, being cordless is just so much easier. It’s surprising how much it can pick up in what I thought was a small dust chamber… just be careful to press the right button when changing attachments as the first time round I emptied the contents back onto myself.
I love this little vacuum for cleaning small things in the house, however not so much in the car. The suction, even with the boost just doesn’t really clean the carpets in the car or the boot lining as much as it should and this is one of the reasons I chose this vacuum. I’ll just stick to using it indoors.

Bought this for the light weight, easy use and the none tangle brushes. My wife is petite and finds this useful, practical and very easy to use, since buying it she has hardly used her usual vacuum cleaner.
The instructions are easy to understand. It breaks down to use as a hand held or in between very easily, the tools are useful. Very pleased with it. In fact we take it with the caravan as it is very compact and easy to transport. Great to keep the floors clean from the detritus when camping.

Hoovering is now a pleasure. It stands well on its stand and charges quite quickly. I do have 2 batteries so don’t ever have to worry. I have a 3 bedroom bungalow, hard floors in the main living areas with bedrooms carpeted. One battery will go around the whole house with charge to spare. I have a spaniel in and out all day so I can now happily hoover several times a day with my light and efficient Shark taking the stress off us all. Would highly recommend

  30. Macy Meyer says:

Not as light as I imagined, but is perfect for a quick once over. I chose the rose gold as it came with two batteries (which I think is needed as power only lasts around 20 mins). The stand is great for storage and charging, but the hoover comes with three additional parts and the stand only holds one. It’s not a big issue but would be nice to keep all the parts together. Suction is okay, wouldn’t be used on tough jobs, but the handheld is great for a sofa, stairs and car.

  31. PatHennings says:

Really impressed with this hoover! Incredibly lightweight which makes it very easy to get out quickly. Does need emptying fairly frequently but this just justifies how good the suction power is, especially considering how small/lightweight it is and it’s so easy to empty with no mess that it’s really not a downside at all.

Battery is not the longest but is exactly as advertised. Personally I think between the spare battery and ease of use it’s been a happy compromise to make choosing this over a larger more awkward to use hoover!

    Would recommend!

Wanted a cordless with good reviews that was reasonably priced and so picked it.
So far it’s lived up to expectations and I love it!
Yes it needs emptied after every use and has a short runtime but to me, great suction, lightweight, easy battery change and brilliant for using as a handheld far out ways any downsides.
it also looks cool and has its own station so no issues with trying to prop it up in a corner!
Did I mention it has two batteries, stops charging when ‘full’ and is well made???
    Well there you are…

Golden Review Award: 32 From Our UsersWe bought this cleaner to be a complement to a Dyson V10 as both my wife and I suffer with easily strained wrists which usually happens due to handling heavy objects such as many vacuum cleaners are.
So we have reviewed it from this perspective.

It is probably the lightest of the cleaners we have ever tested or used. It is certainly lighter than the V10.
It has a very good suction and the power head works well to complement this making it good at what it does. We have two very hairy cats and it does a good job of picking up their hair even when you can’t see it on the floor.

First negative I can see for some is the very small dust collection chamber. However, the cleaner certainly packs the dirt in and it is easily emptied. This also makes the cleaner easier to use due to it’s reduced mass. As a consequence we use it more than we anticipated when we purchased it.

Second negative. The charging. I like the fact it can be charged in the stand and that a second battery can be charged at the same time in the stand. However, I don’t like that you can’t charge it free standing if you want to as the plug doesn’t fit. This wasn’t a big issue for us but I could see how it might be for some.

This review is from the standpoint of owning and using one now for several months in a three bed house with three adults and two cats

    Lightweight and Versatile

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI love it being so lightweight and easy to carry around. I have two flights of stairs and find that I can finish one floor, put it back on to charge while I finish and it’s ready to carry on to the next floor, cleaning the stairs as I go. After lugging around a Henry for twenty years, this is a dream. As a plus, I looked after my daughter’s cats for a year, about six years ago, thought I’d got rid of all the cat hair but the first few times I used my Shark, the container was full of cat hair!!!I
I loved my Henry, but at age 71, I needed something lighter, this Shark ticks all the boxes of what I needed a vacuum cleaner to be.!

  35. WildaCarnevale says:

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersIt’s lightweight. It’s neat. It breaks down into a hand held vac or a wand vac. Suction is A1. I get about 20 minutes full on cleaning from the battery then just change them over.

    What DON’T I like?
The on/off button is directly above the dustbin release button, which also acts as the boost button. Yes, you’ve guessed it. I keep emptying the bin in the middle of the carpet. Rather a stupid design I think. Come on Shark. You get everything else right, let yourself down on this point.
Once the 2 batteries are exhausted it’s 3+ hours before they’re ready for another round of cleaning.

But apart from that I’m delighted. Much better than my old GTech and the horrendous Hoover battery vac I bought a year ago.

We are only two elderly people and have been using it for general cleaning
all over our 4-bedrioms house. 40% of the floor is laminated and the rest is carpeted. My wife and I, we both share the art of cleaning our house weekly. Light weight, easy to glide clean all surfaces. The second battery is very useful. One battery last approximately 15 mins while the second is ready to be used when required.
Very happy with over all and all-round performance.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersThe Shark Wandvac is an excellent handheld vacuum that has great suction power, is very lightweight even with all attachments, but poor battery life. The floor “dock” for the product is a cool addition and sits nicely in our cupboard, has space for an extra battery, however batteries are only available at the manufacturer’s website and are priced at about 70 each, about half of the whole vacuum.

It has around 12 minutes, which is enough to do a couple of rooms fairly thoroughly; in my 3 bedroom house this equates to about a floor per charge.

Charges quickly, but doesn’t last long. But one battery does my two bed flat quickly. Two batteries for doing the car.

Note, this is not a replacement for your main hoover. It’s an add on for speed and short jobs. As long as you are buying it with that in mind. You will not be disappointed.

I had never tried Shark before. We have had Dyson and GTech, both over rated in my opinion, and several others.
The Shark handheld actually picked up dirt and hairs in the car. I have never had a hand held/ battery vaccuum cleaner that would do that. Much better than the GTech Multi in my experience.
The add-on sweeper brush attachment was a great bonus for an extra 30 or so. This seems to be as good as the GTech Air Ram and cheaper BUT the dust reservoir is much smaller.
I would say this is a good second vac for stairs, cobwebs on curtain tops, etc and the car; plus the occasional quick whizz round the kitchen to pick up crumbs.
Based on this I will definitely consider a Shark Upright when we get fed up lugging the Dyson around.

I bought this vacuum cleaner based on a friends referral. This is probably my second favourite item in my home. Every single little detail has been thoroughly thought through for manufacturing. From the removable filters which can be washed without any part of the wand coming into contact with water to the design that flawlessly bends and gives you the option of getting to those difficult places to reach like right underneath a bed. The battery life gives you exactly what is advertised, so if you have a slightly bigger home, or just want to ensure your battery doesn’t die on you, you may want to consider getting a double battery vacuum rather than the single one. The only slight thing I may have considered in the design is a longer nozzle to get to your skirting boards in the event of bending issues due to limited mobility.

Would I recommend this to a friend: Yes
Would I buy the item again: Yes

Just taken delivery of my new shark today after getting fed up of lugging our old corded vacuum up and down the stairs. I’m not much of a reviewer normally but having heavily relied on them to chose my model thought i would leave some feedback. Firstly it took 5 minutes to assemble which was great, takes a few hours to charge then was really impressed – it’s light and easy to manoeuvre as the head swivels, it seems to pick up bits close to the skirting and brilliantly folds flat to get under sofa etc. Seems quite powerful and good on either hard floors or carpets, the hand held is so easy to clip off if you need to use it to get in little spaces and handy for stairs etc. Some people have said chamber fills up quick which it does but so easy to empty with just to press of a button so really no issue. Have never had a ‘stick; vacuum before so cant compare to others but for its price this is brilliant and almost makes hoovering a pleasure – almost 🙂

Already have a Henry for serious vacuuming around the whole house. This little Shark vacuum is perfect for a quick run round the kitchen l, dining room and lounge to pick up crumbs , dust, etc before guests arrive. It’s ultra lightweight so easy to use. Solid good quality plastics so feels sturdy. The dust collector is small but it’s plenty big enough to do the whole ground floor of our house. It’s also easy to empty. It’s much easier to use than our old Dyson cordless. Definitely recommended.

Golden Review Award: 33 From Our UsersI have physical disabilities, spine and shoulders, so find vacuuming very difficult. I chose the pet version with 2 batteries and the extra tool. Iwas dubious about buying a cordless vac but am so glad I did. Okay, the suction isn’t the greatest, the battery only lasts about 15 to 20 minutes and it does not go right up to the skirting boards… BUT. It is very lightweight, it does a very acceptable job at cleaning my floors and the attachments reach places I usually can’t reach without help. The big attachment really is the best for not getting hair stuck in the brushes. Instead of having to wait for people to come and help I can now vacuum the high traffic areas every day. Which makes me very happy. All the attachments are useful, as is the ability to use it as a handheld. Emptying the dust thingy is sooo easy and I reckon the filter will last for ages with regular cleaning. I probably still need my big vacuum for major cleans but someone else can help me with those. And I won’t be ashamed of my carpets when they arrive anymore.

Golden Review Award: 16 From Our UsersI have the Shark Anti Hair Wrap Upright Vacuum Cleaner. That model is great, but oh so heavy! I felt lethargic, whenever I needed to vacuum upstairs rooms and the stair case itself. Then I thought why not try this model. After much research, I found this on Amazon, at a discount. This was a good deal, as it comes with 2 batteries. I am now very happy to vacuum my upstairs rooms and the staircase! The batteries last about 15 minutes each when fully charged, which is enough time to take the vacuum around, because it is so light. When the battery runs down, simply pop the backup battery onto the vacuum and you can continue on your way. Put the other one on charge. It was also very simple to put together, about 3 main parts. The accessories are useful add ons. I have this one stored upstairs mainly, so I can just plug in and go. I like to hoover my floors before moping. This is perfect for that, as opposed to using the heavier one. I have wooden floors, so wish I had seen this before the heavier one I have. But if you have carpets, you have carpets the heavier one would still be a good investment. I don’t regret the heavier one, because the suction is sooo good. It’s just so heavy and stressful, at times! This is handy and nippy, when you’re not in the mood!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersAbsolutely love this vacuum. The suction is good and the waste is quick & easy to empty.
Only 2 issues. Firstly, the button to release the waste is right next to the power button. This has resulted in a few unfortunately timed emptyings! Secondly, you can only charge the batteries by plugging them into the base unit. I would have liked an option to charge the batteries via a charging cable when I tidy away the base storage platform.

Wife whizzes around the house in about 15 to 20 minutes and just about managed that with one battery. We have two so one back up always on charge in the base unit. Against it is you can’t fold it away or hang it on the wall so she hides ours behind the curtain in our front room. If you are looking for a back up vacuum to do a quick zip around the house I recommend the Shark Wanda vac, if you have lots of thick pile carpets I would suggest a mains corded vacuum Shark have a range to choose from, but whatever don’t buy a Dyson they are overpriced and overrated cheap plastic rubbish.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersThis was the perfect vacuum cleaner to get for my elderly mother, it’s compact lightweight and easy to use. It certainly does the job and its cleaning is very good although not as good as the comparable Dyson which costs more. Also the battery time is less than that of the Dyson and the capacity is significantly less, although so far that hasn’t been an issue. Where it stands head and shoulders above the Dyson is the fact that it comes with two batteries which can easily be swapped over. A great choice if you want lightweight and ease of use.
