Great next to you crib smallest size on market as we have no room in our bedroom so the smaller the better. Doesnt rock very well but we dont use that for our baby. We got a package deal with waterproof snuz sheet and fitted sheets and the snuz cloud sleep aid. Love it all looks nice in room. Shame the organiser that goes on side is so expensive or would of got that. So use the bit material at bottom to store stuff on instead but that does touch the floor.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good next to me crib

Not sure I can quote how good this product is until baby is born but looks good.

I have used this cot for four months now. The packaging was great – very thought-through. I read the comments and I remember the comment about the metal pole – yes there is a metal pole that holds up the fabric on both sides. On the side that you can zip down (if you wish to have this bedside option) you have to take the metal out. That part maybe could have been better designed, but I didn’t find this to be a problem at all. I always kept a cot next to my bed. However, it’s not like you cannot zip that side up without the pole – it holds up just fine. By the time baby starts holding on to those sides – he will need a bigger bed anyways. Talking about the size. For bigger babies, like my 4 months old who wears 6 months old babies clothing. This bed lasted only 4 months. But for these 4 months, I was really happy with my choice. Reflux tilt option, I felt really seemed to work.

We bought this for my first born last year and if I knew then what I know now, I would have avoided.

    Let start with the cons:
    1. Not all the material is removable to clean. My son is four months old and has allergies so this is a massive issue for me. The side bumper is zipped on and the mattress is removable so these are the only “easily accessible parts for cleaning” because the rest of the material you need to practically dismantle the crib to get it off, although Snuzpod aren’t clear on this and deem it “easy” it’s not. It’s time consuming and un-necessary.
    2. My Mum has a chicco next to me for when my son sleeps over and he looks so tiny in it because it’s longer and wider. The Snuzpod is narrow and smaller. My son is long for his age at 70cm and we won’t have much use left in the Snuzpod so we are actually switching to a chicco next to me to allow him more room.
    3. My son has reflux so therefor we have the reflux attachment on which sits solid on the floor holding the frame up at one side, so you aren’t able to rock to soothe him.
    4. It’s not been easily adjustable. Again you need to dismantle to lower which we realised when we purchased a new bed and if you want to change sides you need to dismantle to remove a metal rod which holds the sides up in place.
    5. The mattress is fine but I do feel like it can be a little more comfortable for little ones. Again, comparing it to the chicco next to me, the chicco next to me mattress definitely seems a lot more comfortable and not as thin.
    6. The top is detachable and portable but it’s definitely on the heavy side rather than lighter so it’s definitely something to watch out for it you’ve had a c-section and no help is at home.

    Pros:
    1. I think it would be a better option to a Moses basket just purely because it’s more modern.
    2. It’s sturdy.

I definitely think for the price that many things need improved when comparing to cheaper next to me’s. Again when comparing to the chicco next to me, the chicco can easily change sides and adjust at the press of a button. They hold a lot more room so you’ll definitely get your moneys worth of use and a lot of easier to clean.

Something to think about. Expensive doesn’t mean it’s always the best option.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersSo far we had the crib for about 4 months with our first baby. It took about a month for it to arrive (no idea why the long time, but at least it got here before my due date) and it was my partner who assembled it. We got all the parts, nothing missing and the instructions on the paper were easy to follow, but still assembling took a bit of strength and he had to be careful as it is made of wood to not accidentally break apart while pushing things into place. I like that you can “remove” one side of the crib with the slide so it is like an extension of our king-size bed with the baby having her own safe place. I didn’t have a C-section, nor very serious stitches down there, so I could have easily lifted the baby in and out even with not removing this side closer to our bed, but I assume it can come in handy in those cases for others, especially at night time when you have to scoop up baby for feedings. So far no problems with it, I also used the function of detaching the bassinet itself and bringing it to other rooms, though it is pretty heavy, so I have only done it a few times (gives the option to move baby around without the need of having baby furniture – swing, playmat, etc. – in every room where you want to take her and potentially put down from your hand). As to how my baby likes it? She slept in it with no problem in the first 5 weeks of her life, I just literally had to put her down and she was asleep… Then something changed and she wouldn’t sleep in it AT ALL (I assume it was colic as she arched her back whenever placed in it). At this time we tried the reflux function (you can tilt the crib) and it didn’t change anything for her. So till she got to 3 and a half months, we kind of just used it as a safe place where she can be placed and left unattended while we use the bathroom or whatever, BUT she rarely slept in it (maybe for 30 mins only a few times). Then turn this last week and by some miracle, she likes it again. I can just put her drowsy in the crib with a pacifier in her mouth and she falls asleep after 5-15 minutes. I have literally no idea why the change again (who understands babies???), but I am glad she is not sleeping on top of me anymore at night. So overall: is it a magical crib that your baby will adore? Nope (maybe if it can rock her to sleep, but I guess that would be much more pricy). Is it a hit or miss? Yes. Do I think a hit-or-miss crib is fine for this price (especially with the functions some more basic cribs don’t have)? Yeah, I think it is worth the money if you decide to have a bedside crib that you will only use for ~ 6 months per baby (later you can still re-sell it if not needed anymore).

Great investment. I would definitely recommend purchasing the Snuzpod. My little one seems comfortable and sleep through.
Although I found it a little difficult to build the Snuzpod. Considering in the last 12 months I have built a fair bit of flat pack furniture. The manual could do with being a little clearer or even labelling the items

A must by for any new pare

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI got this for my Son and Daughter in law for their first baby. Lovely colour and very well made. I can’t wait to see my first Grandchild, who is due in January, in his/her first crib. I also purchased the Snuz pod fitted sheets which are lovely. The new Mummy and Daddy to be are so very happy with it which made Nana to be extremely happy.

    Schnelle Lieferung
    Unkomplizierter Aufbau
    Gute Qualitt

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersVery happy with this purchase and our newborn seems to like it also. I chose this over other brands which had a lot of reviews complaining that the bed would tilt a bit and could cause the baby to roll up against the side. Not the case with this model.

The current “top review” for this product is poor in my opinion. The customer complained about having to remove metal pole to view baby when using as a “next to me”. If you are primarily going to use this as a next to me, keep the pole out, it doesn’t impact sturdiness etc. Put the pole in if you are planning on using as a standalone cot.

A few other reviews mentioned poor paint quality. Our model also did have some logo paint scrapped off/poorly applied but not noticeable when it is actually in use and definitely not a reason to return.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI love this snuzpod as does my baby. It was easy to put up and looks cosy. She sleeps very well in it and I love that it runs alongside the bed so she’s close to us without actually being in our bed. Makes the night feeds a lot easier too. Would highly recommend.

Lovely crib that can be either free standing or next to me. I chose it as it was the only one high enough for our bed, and it turned out to be great. It’s very light but sturdy enough for an infant, I just wish it was a bit longer as my lo will grow out of it really soon!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersAfter a lot of research, my husband and I chose this for our next to me cot for our baby boy. It’s very nice looking, however it was very tricky for us to put together. When we were putting in the parts of the base and tightening one of the bolts, the bottom piece completely split in half and we had to send the whole thing back.

The customer service was fantastic and we had a replacement really quickly.

The product as a whole is very sturdy. I would not say that it’s very lightweight to move the cot part around. Hopefully our little boy loves it when he arrives!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersMuch darker grey than is shown in the picture but luckily ties in with our house really well so not concerned, but just something to be aware of if you specifically want the light grey in the picture.
Really easy to put together. Instructions are clear and it seems very sturdy and comfortable

Lovely product, our baby settles really well in it. Think it’s Expensive for a bedside cot, wouldn’t be so bad if they included the mattress protector and some bed sheets in that coat but these are an extra expense
