So I had been mulling over getting one of these for a while and caved to a bit of retail therapy lol

Twas a joy to fire it up for the first time

Sure you can have light handed saber battles with them but I would say light contact, they do have the clash effect which is nice and kinda funny when you smack your leg with it lol

    Realistic points –

The sounds effects seem to react more from the saber being twisted than say swung. But there is a bit of natural twist in a swing anyway yet It dosent always react accurately.

The blade is secured in place with little screws the pinch and hold the blade In place, I tightened mine to the point where they have dented into the plastic of the blade however while practicing spins and dropping the poor thing multiple times the blade has stayed in place and still feels solid and tight which is good for me

The button could do with being a bit more shallow and more clicky, this is more of a preference of feel as sometimes the blade won’t turn on due to the fact that you can hold the button to change settings so if it was more clicky than spongey I think it would make switching the blade on more responsive.

All in all for the 50 notes paid for it ( and now it’s down to 35 ) I feel the make for a decent entry level saber!

Good light, multiple colours to switch too, I’ve scuffed the blade due to smacking things about the room while practicing lol so I’d suggest somewhere where you have the room to move lol

Well happy with it all in all!

It’s a very good model on the market. It’s price well not to much and u not getting a cheap plastic handle. Metal handel with some weight in it which give a great feel of being real. The tube is plastic but it makes up for it in the colour. Plenty of colours to choose from and the sound is great. Bought this as a present and going to buy again for myself. Lol

My six year old son, who loves Star Wars plays pretty rough with it. It is just great no damages to the light sabres, which is just perfec

Based on what I’ve seen on Amazon, there seem to be two distinct buyers for lightsabers: 4 year olds, who want a plastic lightsaber that doesn’t break too quickly, and 24 year olds, who want a lightsaber that looks and sounds cool. What if you want both without breaking the bank? Well, the short answer is that you should look no further than this set. It comes with two aluminium-handled lightsabers, each with a 2.5 foot long plastic wand, a single connector (for “Darth Maul” mode to connect the two handles together tail-to-tail), and a USB(-A) charging cable with two USB-C dongles for simultaneous charging. It does not come with a charger, but any old USB phone charger will do the trick.

We have subjected these lightsabers to numerous duels, left them outside in the pouring rain, dropped them, stepped on them. And that was all in the first week. They still look as good as new and work great. When you switch them on, you have a choice of colors. With further button presses, you can engage a flashing mode (useless – why do they even include this mode?) and a sound-off mode (useful for stealth attacks or ratcheting down the noise in a quiet house). When the swords detect an impact they change noises and flash. It’s not sophisticated, but the overall effect is really fun. My 7 year old loves them and even my wife thinks they’re cool. For not much more money than the horrible plasticky ones, you can get these, which are so much better.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our Usershaven’t had these for that long so can’t comment if they will last or not. unsure if sturdy for heavy duels as only duel and train younglings in a saber class :p

but bought as all my other sabers break with my high speed aggressive Darth maul style spinning.

These are super lightweight and great for staff tricks and spinning. haven’t broken and seem very sturdy at withstanding My speed lol so must be pretty good

Only downside I will say is can’t remove blade to replace with a day blade as light doesn’t show up outside at all. removable blade and sound core would be cool so could modify it..

As I love the sabers hilt and lightness for tricks

And sound fonts are pretty naff..not a lightsaber sound just a hum sound that just keeps making the same noise…so being able to take the core out and put a new one in for better sounds would be cool

that’s my only downside to them

Apart from that seem good and robust

Of they can withstand maul then their pretty good XD

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersThis is obviously not a screen accurate lightsaber and is not neopixel, only rgb.

However, it is excellent. The brightness in moderately darkened room is very good and the sounds are great.

It isn’t so bright in normal daylight obviously but for the price I love it.

Hesitated for a while before purchasing but glad I bought it.

Lots of fun. See my face in the video for how happy I am!

This set comes with 2 separate sabres that can be screwed together at the base to make a double sabre reminiscent of Darth Maul.
The handles are made of very solid metal, it has good grip and a nice weight in hand. The blades are great quality plastic and have been bashed around and dropped a lot but still don’t have any marks on them.
The sound is great. Nice and loud and there are extra clashing sound effects when your sabre makes contact with something. You can also have it on silent mode if you want to play with them without all the noise.
The button on the handle controls all of the modes. A single press moves through the colours and I think a double press makes it flash like a strobe.
These sabres are also rechargeable via a usb-c cable. This is fantastic as the “official” ones require a lot of batteries.
These were 53.99 when ordered which is amazing considering the quality. They’re perfect and sturdy enough for practicing sabre fighting or using in cosplay, but also inexpensive and robust enough that you wouldn’t mind the kids having a play with the too. Would recommend them to any Jedi fans!

    Very cool!

This is such an awesome lightsaber set that comes with two individual lightsabers that can be combined into a double ended one, this set is also actually made for playing with! So we have tried other lightsabers in the past and some have looked good, but the second it comes to actually using them then they break, these are made to hit against things, they play effects on impacts which is fun but they are also sturdy enough to last a long time, exactly how a lightsaber should be.

The handles are great, they are metallic and feel great in the hand, I’m not sure if they are designed to look like a specific lightsaber from Star Wars but the black colour looks awesome. The set also comes with a connector to turn the two into a single double ended lightsaber which is a lot of fun to spin around but I will say I am a fan of the two separate ones as then you can play with a friend, this is a great way to buy the two pack too, as at the time of writing individually they are 49.99 but the two pack is only 53.99 which is pretty good value. They are also rechargeable which is really good to see.

Light sabers that you can really hit with, without breaking them.

A pack of two sabers. These are a fairly nice design and an absolutely fantastic size at roughly 77.5cm long individually and 157cm when joined together. They seem fairly well made, lightweight but not flimsy, fairly sturdy.

They each need to be charged separately via USB-C, this takes around 3 hours per saber to do, which isn’t bad I guess but they do last 4 hours, so that’s good.

The sabers make sound effects and have 7 light colour choices. You have the light colours on one solid colour at a time, or have the colour flashing. The colour bounces when you hit with the sabers. The sounds are good in the sense that they make a noise when you smack them off of one another and they make swaying type noises but the swaying type noises don’t match you moving them around, they just make that noise all throughout you using them. You can however, turn off the sound if you wish to.

I do think these light sabers are decent. You can actually give them a good crack on things without them breaking. The design is nice and it’s good that you can have two sabers, or just one large one. The sound effects make it more fun and realistic to use, I did think the swaying sound would match your movements but it’s not the end of the world. They’re slightly more in price than I thought they would be but for the fun, quality and durability of them, I would recommend them.

    Quite good

You can buy these lightsabers in a pack of one or two, with silver or black handles. To buy just one it’s 49.99 and to buy two it’s 53.99 (prices correct at the time of writing this review) so I feel that the pack of two is much better value

The lightsabers come in a branded box with an instruction booklet and a double USB C charging wire, it’s good that they use USB C wires, as if you lose the ones that comes with the set or it breaks, then you can just as easily use phone wires to charge them. You also get a connecting clip to attach the two lightsabers together if you wanted to

The lightsabers have 7 different colours along with sound effects, grandson had great fun testing all these out lol. You can have them as two lightsabers or attach them together to make a 2-in-1
Darth Mauls lightsaber. Singularly they measure 31″, attached together it’s 63″

You will probably need to charge them before use, this takes around 3 hours for them to be fully charged and then they should last for around 4 hours of continual use

I’ve attached a short video showing some of the colours and sounds made. It’s really easy to use, 11 year old grandson had no problems with it at all, was soon re-enacting the scenes from Star Wars lol. I can see this providing hours of fun for the adults as well as the kids, and once the eldest son visits the poor grandkids won’t get a look in lol

I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending these lightsabers

Son and grandson had great fu

This set of light sabers is quite the homage to any fans of the star wars film franchise. Wether they are for display or play they are loaded with all kinds of desirable features. That all too familiar and unique sound is audible through a small speaker whenever you take a swipe with the light Saber. Even when you clash one against the other it produces the sound you hear in the films. These two sabers can be connected at the bottom of the handles for a double ended light saber coming in at a nearly 60 inches in length. Very much likened to notorious film villain Darth Mauls primary weapon. The light effects boast up to 7 different color changes and you can choose whatever of the 7 suit your preference. Overall these light up sabers are also made really well and are a far cry from some plastic toy you would get some big box retailers. They feel great in hand and display very nicely when not in use. A positive experience all around!

Got this for my godson as he is a fan of Star Wars. And it will be perfect for him to play around and use it for Halloween really. So I got 2 pack which comes with 2 lightsabers and 2 handles, and 1 connector which can make a 2-in-1 lightsaber which is really cool. And can be perfect for Cosplay.
Assembled lightsabers feel rather nice in hand they are not too heavy so kids can play with them without any problems. With a switch on the blade, you can change the colours of the blade it has 7 different ones and sounds of it. When blades clashes while kids play it will give sound effects too which is cool and just makes all the games more interesting. They are chargeable through USB so no need to worry about the batteries. The quality of them is not bad to feel sturdy and looks like they will last.
Overall perfect little blades to get for kids to play around if they are star wars fans, as they will provide quite a lot of fun. As well perfect for cosplaying etc.

It is impressive when you get the hang of the different commands: everything is controlled through a single button, you have to memorize the number of pushes needed to, say, change color, turn on/off music, change effects volume, etc. .

The saber looks really neat, good enough for a fan film I guess, and reasonably sturdy, not really for smaller children though

You can choose a blade color between a wide array and change it according to your current preference.

This pair of lightsabres came as a set with a connecting piece and a USB-C charge lead in a nicely printed retail package, it would make any Stars Wars fan a superb gift item.
For clarity this is not my first lightsabre, I have had two before and this is the first double lightsabre I have been offered on amazons vine program in exchange for an unbiased review.
On paper and in the description this sounds like a poor relative of my other two lightsabres in that it has fewer available colours and special effect modes as well as shorter light blades.
However this is misleading, when this is used as intended, as a single unit if it had the same length blades as my other two sabres it would be unwieldly and too difficult to use.
When in the hand this does not look wrong at all, when spun the two blades create a far grander effect than a single, albeit slightly longer blade.
Trust me, anyone with a single lightsabre will be left feeling like they brought a knife to a gunfight when you pull out these puppy’s!
The two sabres are independent of each other and each is a sealed unit so they can be used as separate sabres for a duel if you wish. Because of this they can be set to different colours for each combatant, or when used as a single sabre the two ends can be two different colours, opening up many different colour combinations so you can truly find your own style.
They each have a built in rechargeable battery that is recharged by a USB-C lead (only one is supplied so you will have to find another lead or charge them separately, which only takes a couple of hours each.
I am a huge fan of the USB-C port for recharging it is a lot more robust than the systems of this last few years the USB-C port can be plugged either way up and is easily identified also there is no chance of accidentally trying to use a similar looking but wrongly sized plug that could actually damage the port!
Amazingly, unlike one of my other sabres these are made to be used!
On the package it says that it comes with a lifetime blade warranty, it literally says “YOU BREAK IT, WE BUY IT” Which is amazing!
When the blade is struck it flashes and the hilt makes a clashing sound, on one of my others I have to press the button to make the clashing sound and I wouldn’t dare hit anything with it anyway!
Also I should mention that on both my other lightsabres the blade is held in place by a tiny grub screw that you need an Allen key to put it on or take it off, which is not only a real faff, if you are into cosplay like my daughter you need a telephone box or similar private area Superman’esk to hide in while you attach the blade not to ruin the effect, it also means that over time this grub screw must inevitably eat into and consequently damage the blade.
On this lightsabre the base of both blades is an attached metal collar that screws into the handle easily and feels a lot more robust than the grub screw method no tools need here, I can turn my back on you and have a fully working lightsabre when I turn back in just a couple of seconds, no tools required!
These take seconds to put together (you only put the blades in when you are going to use them, like the lightsabres in the films when not in use the hilt is just a hilt!
Don’t be put off these because of their only having 7 colours, all the important ones are here (RED, BLUE, GREEN etc) or the very reasonable price (For a double, like this one at least) which is actually less than my other two singles cost.
Because of the shorter blades and the ease of assembly / disassembly this can be transported much more easily.
My only minor gripe is that when delivered the blades both have a cling film cover to protect them for transit, this is difficult to remove at the base near the metal collar.
I would happily recommend this lightsabre to any Star Wars fan who can play with it or even mount it on a wall as an interesting unusual lighting effect that would look amazing on any bedroom or mancave wall.
    Happy to help.
